I had an awesome experience here. I had a slow leaking tire, probably had a nail through it. I had some older warranty I forgot I purchased years ago with some new tires, so the entire service ended up being free. BUY THE WARRANTY! Such a wonderful surprise. I was able to drop my car off without an appointment and they got it done within an hour they were already calling me that it was ready to pick up. Kaila was super super nice too. Already referred another friend who has a leaky tire, and Ill be back for any other services. Thank you!

Would never recommend this shop. They had us do 3 estimates, but in the end whatever their estimator said was the end for my damaged car .. the leading to getting this issue resolved was horrible.. whoever from corporate had to mediate because the store manager called the police on us THANKS! never bring your car here, they gave us fake insurance information. Came in for a tire repair. Left with 2k in damages 😍

I brought my car in for an alignment after taking it to another shop the day prior to fix that didn’t complete the job. The manager Sulu and his team are very professional and honest. On top of their knowledge, they are very social and could tell they take their job seriously and do whatever needs to make the situation right. I am definitely taking my car here for the future and would highly recommend others do the same. Very enjoyable experience!

I brought my work van to this location, they broke my spare tire cover and the car was making noise from when they worked in it. I brought the car back, I didn’t have a problem with they braking my spare tire cover, accidents happen, but I brought my car at 7:15 in the morning so they could check it, I come back at 10:45 because I need my car to work and they have not even checked it. Apparently if you are not spending money, they put you on the last of the list. I know that I was ahead of cars that they were working on but they just decide to leave me for last. I prefer to go somewhere else to have this issue that they caused fixed because their customer service is not good.They broke my spare tire cover and left my car making an annoying noise.

I had an appointment for service at the uptown Tires Plus. Joe the Manager on Duty March 17, 2019 (Ryanis the real manager) tried to tell me he could only change all four tires to make sure the tire brands match (DESPITE all tires being within 2/32). He was not able to change just one tire of a different brand due to Corporate policy. When I asked him to provide me with the corporate number, he refused saying look it up yourself I have called numerous other Tire Plus and they are happy to change the one tire as long as it is within the required tread depth.

I always have a great experience at this location. The workers are very friendly and knowledgeable. They let me know whats starting to go on the car but are never pushy telling me I need to do something thats not necessary. They are realistic about if it is truly a safety issue or just something to keep an eye on. I have brought my car in 3 times over the past several years to get patched (nails always get me!) and they have quickly patched it up; all at a great price!

We went to Tires Plus today to get tires and a wheel alignment. We worked with a guy named Joe. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and very personable. He kept us informed on everything that was happening and took time to describe in detail any issues that came up.He was also very fair when it came to charging us. There was an issue doing the alignment, so he didnt charge us, plus explained the issue and said he would do the leg work to assist us with getting the issue resolved. He also gave us alternative ways to go about resolving the issue.He made the experience allot better than it has been at other establishments in the past. The fact that he didnt try and overcharge us or upsell things we didnt need, speaks volumes about his character.We will definitely be repeat customers! Thank you again Joe for your help!

Pete, Joe, Ryan and the whole team have exceeded my expectations, year after year. They are good at tires, naturally, but they are also very good at mechanical & electrical. I recently had a broken window in my old minivan. No one could get the window, and I was told to go to a junk yard. I dont do junk yards. I asked Pete for advice. He gave me a name, I called, and the window will be delivered in 3 days. Awesome!

Ive been a patron at this establishment for going on 15 years. Ive always been treated very well there and the prices are very reasonable. I do recommend any of my wedge / uptown neighbors to utilize this esrablishment to get their tires and rims as well as any alignment issues. Sadly, there seems to be a pretty high turnover of employees at this establishment and hopefully that can change someday. But, it is important to note that the quality of service still remains steady. That says a lot about the overall the establishment of Tires Plus.

I had a brand new set of front tires and just needed them installed. I called this location because its close to my apt. They quoted me $100.That sounded high to me just to install, decided to call other shops in the area. Ding ding, everyone was much lower. Midas-$50, Precision Tune-$30, Discount Tires-$40. Guys are definitely con artist, go with another shop.

Talk about a great crew! Wow, just found my new go-to garage. Richard the manager is the the man, went well above and beyond. Technician Joe and his team in the garage nailed it. Knowledgeable and friendly doesnt even begin to describe these guys, they know their s**t. The usual dreaded trip to the garage is no more, If this is what I can come to expect going forward these guys have my trust and confidence.

This Tires Plus location is about a block from my house in Uptown and totally feels like a neighborhood / locally owned shop vs. a chain. The team does a great job of exploring all of the options and recommending cost effective options. Twice we have had minor issues and have stopped in and they fixed it free of charge! We are grateful to have them as neighbors and will continue to be customers.

Great service! I always bring my car here whenever there is an issue or just for regular maintenance. Theyll work with you and explain the process and they always give you an update while theyre working on your car. Theyre also great at giving recommendations for cheaper alternatives if things get pricey.

Left my car for oil change, my car was returned with broken hood latch and a scratch on the front. They called me to inform they couldnt change the oil as latch is broken!! Last time I opened the hood using latch without any issue a month ago and dint use the latch until these guys did, so I am sure they broke it and they said they dont know how to fix it either. I went to another Auto repair and they could easily fix it for me but costs 250$

Service was great. I had tires put on and it took no time at all. However now I know why. When I drove my car two days later, it was shaking and pulling to the left. I had noticed the shaking the day before but was hoping I was being paranoid. Anyway when I called Tire Plus back, the guy said it may be my pressure and to go to a gas station to have it checked. I explained that they had just put new tires on two days before. Shouldnt they have checked the pressure? He gave some excuse about the cold can cause pressure to change. I ended up taking my car to the Tire Plus in New Hope. They were great. It turned out that the W.Lake Street Tire Plus didnt install one of my tires properly. The New Hope store took care of it free of charge.

I was very impressed with the service i got from this place but my car keep swaying to the right. I took it there for the last time to look it up but the mess up my alignment completely because they offer to refund cash back. It wasnt my fault that the problem was there but not impress with the service guy JOE.

Stopped in to get a screw pulled and plugged in one of my tires, they were able to get it in and fixed before their promised time AND turns out that I had tire a protection plan when I purchased my tires 3+ yrs ago so it cost me $0! Joe was great and I totally recommend this shop!

The guys were certainly nice enough but what con artist isnt. I was told a tire could not be patched when in reality it was able to be patched and instead of providing me the simple service I requested​ they attempted to upsell me all new tires (when I have excellent tread remaining). I hit a screw but thankfully to some purchases of warranties and roadside assistance my tire was the only thing that got screwed. My tire has now been patched by a competitor who listened to me, took care of the need I had in a timely manor, and now has earned my business so when I do shop for 4 new truck tires they will have my business. Sad to say that as a consumer you have to protect yourself and over do your research but trust in the dividend of the work you put in.

These guys have been nothing but helpful to me since I started going late last year. The manager went an extra 100 miles to help me get badly needed maintenance on my Ford Focus with 103K mileage (timing belt, wiring, etc) at a price I could afford. The minus star is for when I went in to get a new wiper blade and whoever did it put it on the wrong side which I had just replaced at another store. I never got the chance to stop in again (totally my bad) until now and with all the help I received its not worth mentioning but I am confident they would have corrected it in a heartbeat. I will continue to use this location should all the repairs work out.

Friendly staff and great service

The customer service was good at this place, but I would not recommend this shop to any of my friends or family. I was told that it was necessary to replace my inner tire rods. Prior to spending nearly $300 on that, I went and got two other opinions from two separate places and both stated that I did not need those replaced at all. Im beyond thankful I went and received advice from other shops, that saved me almost $300 that I would have wasted on something that didnt even need to be fixed.

Went in to get my vehicle inspected after I bottomed out. Turns out it was an easy fix and they didnt charge me anything for the repair! They did not seem shady at all, and didnt try to sell me things I didnt need. Service was friendly, professional and courteous. Will be a loyal customer from now on!

I needed a pair of tires so I went here,.. Now before I get started I did shop around an lil bit so I knew I was got to be spending some money.. Lol.. So got my quote and during that time I had lots of quoting all was answered with an smile.. Rich Gepp, the Service Manager, is the best person of all time.My front tires were completely bald when I came in. He made sure I was able to get great tires at a good price with quick installation. He even let me borrow his cell phone charger. I will be coming to this location for everything in the future.

This place is awesome. They tuned up my car with no issues. As part of the improvements, I had a wiper installed that started peeling after a week. I went back the following week and they guy replaced and upgraded it at no charge in 3 minutes. Love businesses that go the extra mile for happy customers.Will be back!

The employees are always very kind and seem to know what theyre doing. However, they brought up an issue with my vehicle, saying that something in my rear brakes were breaking down and it would cost 600+ dollars to fix. I told them to hold off and ended up going to another auto shop that my family has known for years and when I brought up the issue in my vehicle, they said they werent sure what Tires Plus was talking about as they found no issue. Its so important to trust the mechanic you go to!

Left my car for an Inspection and got terrible results. First they did not even diagnose two very important issues. For the one issue they did diagnose they pushed for me to pay for getting way more fixed than needed. They missed a leak in the exhaust manifold as well as they did not give the proper diagnoses for a door latch issue.

Manager was great! He helped me find the right tires for my car and explain the available discounts. He also told me when to come back with an appointment so I didnt have to wait for 3 hours. The Wi-Fi could be fixed though; sitting and waiting for your car is not fun without something to do.

I had an unexpected blowout and they took great care of me! Thanks again!

Manager Pete was very personable, knew his cars and was pleasant to talk with as one car buff to another while waiting on a simple tire replacement. I told him I wanted the one tire and the best price and that was what I got, not sales pitch, guilt trip. He earned my repeat business without a doubt, Even went as far as to do a courtesy once over and topped off my levels free of charge. May seem like he could have maximized the profit on this one time deal but instead he earned a regular customer who in the long run will spend a lot more than the $20 he could have charged to top off levels. That is real service, Never thought Id be a fan-boy of ANYTHING, let alone a tire and car repair shop, but Pete made me one today. Also- Watched him diffuse a potentially angry customer from a never come back to a definitely will return customer all over an air filter and his promise it would be there the next day at a certain time and promised a small discount on installation. She went from fury to leaving with a smile on her face. Impressive and hard to find that kind of charisma and character in ANY business these days, especially a service based business. Pete will be a regional manager or better some day and the chain of stores will profit from it greatly.

I made the mistake of contacting another Tires Plus (not affiliated with W. Lake) and had a nightmare experience. I called this location and talked with Joe, whom I have worked with in the past, and he went out of his way to take care of me. They gave me a great deal, addressed my needs in a very timely manner, and were just amazing to work with. They will continue to get my business. My normal place was closed on Sunday and I needed my winter tires installed. Not only were they open but they stayed open late to get the job done. Thats service! Big thanks to Rich for coming through on that! Oh, and it was 1/2 the price of my neighborhood place.

Did my truck after hours for me so i could make it to work no problem

I got an oil change here for my 2008 BMW 335XI (at 73,000ish mile) and the process went fine. I left my car there and then did some grocery shopping at the Uptown target.Fast forward about 2-3 months later I have to change my oil again. This is odd because I still have about 1200 miles to go before I need to replace my oil again per the sticker. I do not drive often. I give it a few days to see if its a fluke then see a bunch of oil on the floor of my garage. I immediately setup an appointment with BMW Motorwerks to get it looked at. Turns out Tires plus used some cheap off brand filter that didnt seal properly that caused oil to spill all over my engine. This also cause my cap to break ($60 to replace). Labor, replacement cap, oil change, and clean up is costing me $340 because I chose to go to this tires plus rather then the BMW dealership or the Eagan tires plus off pilot know that I have never had problems with.I will never go to another Tires plus again even though my family and I have been going to Tires plus for years prior to this experience because of this specific shops lack of proper labor, parts and damage to my vehicle.

I made an appointment through the website to get tires and have my car aligned. When I arrived the guy at the desk told me the alignment machine was broken, but they could sell me tires. Not sure what the point of making an appointment is if they cant perform the service for which I made the appointment and they dont call to let me know. Decided to get the tires without the alignment, so he printed up the price. When I asked about the price of the tires and if there were any other options he treated me like I was an idiot for asking.Customer service skills are lacking, but the car drives much better with new tires, and the alignment may be fine the way it is.

Their prices are competitive. You are given practical information about your vehicles condition prior to committing to any repairs. I have not found this level of quality and trustworthy service anywhere else in Uptown.

I called to make an appointment for my car. One of the taillights was out. After waiting on hold for almost 10 minutes, an employee answers the phone, asks how he can help, I said I was wondering if they offered services for changing a tailight. The employee then says “I have to go check something in our system.” He takes down my name and number, and says he will call back. It was 6:10pm. One hour before close (they close at 7pm), and I never received a call back. Very disappointing. It’s probably best to take your vehicles to a local business, usually they’re cheaper anyway!

Told me they couldn’t patch my tire that had a nail in it. Went to Nelson’s in uptown and they patched t for free- it literally took 5 minutes from walking in the door to them having my tire back on my car. All for free, I’m going to go to them for any auto service from now on . NELSONs auto in uptown.

It is Monday June 10th, 2019. I went there to purchase 2 or 4 tires. The guy was so rude and disrespectful fr no reason. This is what happened and how it happened. I walked in and there are two people ahead of me and waited and when it was my turn three people came in and he turned to them and I asked him it is my turn and he responded angrily “ they have appointment “ . Again, I waited and when he finished serving for the people that came after me he grabbed and note and paper and said let’s go outside and do the estimate. We walked outside and more people came in and he went back to help them it didn’t make sense to me I came back and asked him again and he responded “ I am trying my best “. I was still figuring out what Is going on I waited again and again.Finally he finished helping all those people who came after me he grabbed his note and pen and went outside and he looked at the car and said 2 tire might cost you $400 to $500 and headed back inside and I left after that!!!!!It was clear as crystal to me that i wasn’t welcome there but I wonder WHY?????
