My Husband and I have been long time patients of Dr. Meyers. Recently, we applied for long term care insurance, something that is suggested for people as they near retirement and have had a successful career. Both of us have taken a simple antidepressant like much of the US population for several years. In the process of applying for long term care insurance, the underwriter of the policy requested medical records. Low and behold, Dr. Myers labels both of us as having MAJOR RECURRENT DEPRESSION. You wonder how we have been able to function on a daily basis for years with such a diagnosis? As you would have expected our insurance application was denied. I messaged Dr. Meyers. Not only did he not apologize, he didnt even respond.I am told by other internal medicine physicians I work with that Dr. Meyers probably increases the severity of the diagnosis to generate more income from my insurance company.The LGBTQ community has other options for your healthcare, I highly encourage you to boycott Dr. Meyers and the Allina uptown clinic

I went to the Uptown Clinic on the break of the COVID, (4/8/2020). They had no enhance safety measures, and they pushed me away at the door. They then said a Doctor would give me a call to reschedule an apt. The doctor called me to ask me what I needed help with, said he could not help me because they were not taking new patients that required a Psychiatrist visit. He said he “could not help me”. A month later a received a bill for 300 dollars. I’ve gone through the ringer trying to get it revoked. They’ve done nothing but transfer be on phones calls for the last month.This company is a scam. This service was criminal. This is what makes me want universal health care. Terrible.

Very easy to get in, friendly staff, no waiting time with appt

I have a large lump in my armpit, we all know this isn’t good and can be quite terrifying. Despite my health issues for not wearing a mask I was told I would not be seen. I asked for the same face shield that is permitted by the governors orders and this clinic is the clinic that has seen me for asthma in the past mine you. I was told with out a full mask even though staff was not wearing n95 masks that would stop the spread of a virus that I would not be seen. If the clinic was concerned why didn’t they all have n95 masks on?

I just had my first experience and could not have been more pleased. The clinic was easy to navigate and staff were friendly. I recommend Will Sharpe. He made my first physical in a few years not stressful at all. I look forward to being back soon. Thanks.

Hands-down, Dr. Caroline Toll is the best GP I have ever met. She has gone above and beyond to keep me healthy and informed. She is personable, open-minded, non-judgmental, prompt, smart, and fun. Yeah, who thought the doctor could be fun? Thats all Ive got. I am thankful for my Allina Health Uptown, and specifically Dr. Toll.

Ive been coming to them for 12 years. Getting a quick appointment has never been an issue when I need it. The level of service and professionalism is very high. They do have a lab onsite, so basic tests can be done there, and you get results quickly. Also, they bill correctly and I almost never have issues with paperwork or needing to call my insurer to correct issues. I would recommend them to those who need a new general practitioner.

For 6 years I have gotten great care here. The online access is great for setting up appointments and get follow up results. Dr. Myers has been fabulous.

Excellent care providers. I see Will Sharpe, a recent addition to their staff. He is amazing, and the first health care provider I have ever looked forward to and genuinely enjoyed seeing!

Nothing but great things to say about Dr. Rosenstein, who is funny, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. But the front desk staff is unbelievably and outwardly rude and slow. They are not happy to greet patients and look/sound deeply inconvenienced when they have to check in a patient. Front receptionist asked me for insurance and photo ID. I handed her both. She took off her glasses, threw up her arms, got all flustered, and shouted “I can only do one thing at a time, sir.” Yikes.

Dr Koehnen is the best. Staff is amazing . So thankful I found this place long ago . Thank you Kelly !

I called to share my symptoms because I was concerned that I might have the flu. I was told that I should wait about 3 weeks & for a temp. of 104 or higher before coming in. After several days of feeling absolutely miserable, I called & insisted that I needed to be seen. Indeed I did test positive for Influenza B. The doctor asked why I had not come in when I first had these symptoms and told him that I was told to wait which was verified in the notes. He was livid because it was too late at that point to administer the tamiflu. He said hed report this to their office manager and she would contact me. The only thing I received from them was a bill for almost $400 for that appointment that provided me with no relief from the flu and verified that Id been infectious to the community for those prior days. The office staff, i.e. the gatekeepers are consistently unprofessional.

Very kind friendly staff. Absolutely top notch physicians. The finest care with true compassion. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Its not convenient from my location. I go here anyway.

I have been coming to this clinic since 2007. I will not go anywhere else. I have found them to be very professional and would not trust my care to anyone else!

Dr. Rosenstein is great, but Ive had several instances with less than competent staff over the years. When Dr. Rosenstein leaves I will too.

Brand new facilities. I followed my doctor here from another clinic that closed. Every second is used well, including wait time, time making appointments and conversing. Though it is primary care, my physicain is capable of managing extremely complex issues. You will ONLY get general medicine here, nothing special. For that, you have to just do your research and get your affairs in order to obtain care in a specific field of medicine. My physician DOES NOT give referrals, probably because she has her own family now and she focuses on patients while at the clinic without playing the Allina system connections game.

Jaime Christmas, the mental health provider at Uptown is dedicated, smart, caring, thorough and patient. I have been going there for one year, and the front desk staff has always been professional, courteous and accommodating.

The doctors here have always had a caring and empathetic attitude toward all of my health concerns. They have an excellent reputation, they are always available and easy to reach, they have solid credentials, and they are very knowledgeable.

Normally I dont have any issues with the doctors here but the last few times I have came in it feels like the Drs have no clue what they are doing. I came in when my regular dr was out and has a replacement dr. Please tell me how a dr of medicine does not know what a RBC test is? If they do not know what that is why would I want to keep coming to these Drs who can tell you absolutely nothing about the issues you came in for.

Waited for them to fix a screw-up! Almost lost my mind due to there lack of communication. They let me go almost a week without my depression and anxiety medication. Unbelievable!

I had a very hard time with Alina up town Doctors. I visited for my travel shot with my wife and kids. The doctor asked me where to send my medications and I said HCMC. Went to HCMC and found out that HCMC do not any relationship between pharmacy and they said we only provide pharmacy to our clients. Called back the Doctors they said will transfer your prescription to CVS pharmacy near you. I went to pick up my prescriptions and CVS pharmacy said there no prescription for you. called back the doctors clinic they told me CVS pharmacy must transfer prescription from HCMC. Would been great if they would told me at first time. Went back to CVS to pick up my prescription CVS said there was NO prescriptions for you and my daughter. Called the Doctors and told the I have flight tomorrow no one called I called and they said the office is closed and need to talk to on call doctor she did not listen to what I have to say she sau what you want in very rude way. I said can I talk she became very upset and I only write prescription for adults I said then go ahead write one for me. She what is the proscription name I said I do not know but give me time to call the pharmacy and my wife have same proscription or I can explain what I need for. Malaria medications. She said you supposed to know the prescription and I said if you do not and you are a doctor how you expect em to know. I asked her name and she said Geda. Asked her give me full name she said NO. Was on call 01/03/2014 She shut the phone OFF. The worst experience I ever had with any Clinic. and no one took responsibility to fix asked for manger I was denied access.

$600 for a physical. Thanks for telling me Im not unhealthy.

Dr. Rhame is simply the smartest, most humane physician anywhere.

While the staff is friendly and the facility is clean, my experience with the Doctors is that if you are actually sick, they dont truly pay attention to a patients symptoms. It happened to me not once but twice. The first time required an ER visit where a Physicians Assistant figured out what the problem was in less than 5 minutes. The second time required a lengthy hospital stay. I go elsewhere now.

Ive been hung on 2 times and transferred around and around and around giving my name and info each time to be asked again to be put on hold. And then usually hung up on again or transferred to someones voicemail that I didnt ask to speak with. Im literally just trying to make an appointment
