I lived here for 1.5 years from 2016-2018 and loved it!! The price was fantastic for the downtown views and amenities (see pic for downtown view). The pool, deck for grilling and free food / drink perks were some of the things that set it apart. I appreciated the 24 hour concierge, building security and package hold. The location is also fantastic - just a few minutes from countless shops, bars and restaurants. The reason for the 4 stars was for the amount of times one or more of the elevators were out and their general slowness. Even though there were 3 elevators it was faster to use the stairs at times and I lived on the 17th floor!
It was cool I guess but my daughter REALLY NEEDS her own room that was mostly the problem it is way too small!
Great community in which to make friends. Complimentary continental breakfast 5 days a week and complimentary champagne happy hour to welcome you home after work! Fun!
One Ten Grant is a frustrating place to live. On one hand, it has quite a few amenities and includes a few fees with the price of rent. On the other hand, the simple things like temperature control and water heat/pressure have been inconsistent to terrible over the past 6 months Ive lived here.[See edit below] Temperature control is abysmal. My apartment is consistently too hot during the cold months, and the only way I can stop this is by opening the window. I shouldnt have to open the window to cool off when its snowing! Whether my thermostat is set as low as possible and I have my fan cranked up all the way or turned off entirely, the only way to get the temperature down is by opening a window. I can only hope the hot months dont have the same or opposite problem...The water here has also been a pain point. It seems like 50% of the showers I take are in water that starts hot for the first 2 minutes, quickly becomes room temperature and slowly gets colder and colder. The water pressure also dies down when the water gets colder. Theyve tried to fix this problem, but even today theyre doing more maintenance and I have no faith that my shower tonight will have hot water. Its hard to track these issues because theres no digital way to track my service requests - its all done by reporting things to the front desk and hoping theyll get fixed. If the water is going to be shut off for maintenance (like it has today - for 6 hours during the day, and too many times in the past to count) then I dont get an email, I just need to notice a small note slid underneath my door.If I have a package, theres no way for me to pick it up without waiting for the person at the front desk to have time to find it for me. Then they need to go through a log of the packages and have me sign next to one of them. Other apartment complexes in the area use digital systems which cuts down on the hassle of picking up packages, but OTG seems to avoid anything digital at all costs. For a building that was built in 1985, it seems to have an insane amount of problems with the essentials. Im surprised there havent been power outages given the problems with water, heat, and the elevator...Edit: I have upgraded my review to 3 stars because they fixed the issues with the heating/cooling, but the other issues still apply
One Ten Grant would probably have to be the best all-around apartment complex in the Loring Park neighborhood. I lived here for a year and enjoyed the experience. The units are well taken care of and are also being remodeled. The views are fantastic, and the location can’t be beat right on The Greenway. The 24hr concierge, large guest parking lot and free cable are some other amenities I enjoyed. You won’t find a better value in the area. The people who work and live there are great, too. Make sure it’s on your list if you’re looking to live in the area.
This review would be one star if not for the leasing representative I spoke with at Marquette Place.1. One Ten Grants website lists the phone number for the Marquette Place leasing office when you select the option to schedule a private tour (they may want to correct that). The leasing agent was very nice and took down my information, then offered to transfer me to Angela, a leasing agent at One Ten Grant.2. Angela, the leasing agent I spoke with at One Ten Grant was problematic from the start and seemed as if she was taking her bad day out on me. I could not finish a sentence or even ask a questions without interruption. Before even asking me when I would move in she said we only have one apartment available and its $1700 a month. Im sorry, but I would not be calling if I could not afford the rent and why make that statement prior to asking my move-in-date?After three minutes of speaking with Angela I gave up and ended the call. If that is the representation of One Ten Grant, then I will pass. Even if the building was at capacity or nothing available for what I was looking for, maybe, and this is just a thought... be nice, courteous, and appreciative that someone was considering One Ten Grant as a possible home.
After having lived here for a year, I have so many good things to say.1. It’s quiet. Your apartment is literally encased in cement so you can’t hear your neighbors.2. It’s really diverse. This is not your typical building in MN because most people are from out of state/country. It’s also very diverse age wise. It feels like a true community.3. The people are awesome. Everyone from staff to neighbors are great.4. Love my space. Feels very open with a huge balcony.5. Great location. My car pretty much just sits in the garage because I can walk to everything.6. Dog friendly. But everyone is very responsible.7. One bill covers everything (rent, electrical, cable/internet etc)8. Responsive staff.I literally couldn’t say enough good about this place.
My husband and I moved here about 3 months ago and have really enjoyed it so far. It’s definitely an older building and some of it is out of date but the apartment is awesome and they have done renovations. The maintenance staff is amazing and is always so fast and kind. The apartment has so much storage and the building is very quiet. The elevators and washers and dryers have been the only problems we have had here (I got stuck in one for about 10 minutes) but they work hard to fix them quickly.I have thought it was weird that they still do everything through paper. You can’t contact maintenance, pay rent or anything online. It just feels a little dated. No apartment is perfect, but the pro’s definitely outweigh the con’s in my opinion.
The lady at the front desk very rude. I had asked for directions to an apartment and got lots of attitude.
Its a very modern apartment complex that compliments the Loring Park Neighborhood
Edited to give five stars! Originally I gave four stars because I was frustrated with some small issues we were having in our apartment, but the staff at One Ten Grant have been so kind to us and fixed everything!
Good ongoing maintenance. Common areas nicely done. Good laundry facilities. Theatre area for group viewing. Nice mat pilates class once per week (free!). Elevators sometimes overwhelmed (need upgrade). Nice outdoor barbecue grill. Secure bike room
Great location and tenants. the staff is very accommodating and friendly. The decor is VERY dated and the elevators are in need of repair! The views of the park almost make up for the mediocre shared spaces.
All of the staff have been so incredible. This has been a wonderful home.
I look forward to going to one ten grant everyday I deliver packages there and Deb and the staff are very friendly they make it joyable to come there everyday.
Good place to live in & good management.
Great place to be and the management is good.
