Jeff and his assistant did a top quality job sanding and refinishing our oak floors. They were very punctual and got the job done within the time they specified in the estimate. The price was very reasonable for the work that was done and the high quality of products used. The floors look top notch, no corners or spaces underneath baseboards were missed, the sanding is very even, the finished floor is very smooth and the house was left extremely clean.Jeff gave the floor the nice warm oil based finish look we wanted by using an oil based seal coat and followed it with two coats of a strong top quality waterborne finish. I am extremely pleased with how the floors came out.

Called for a bid, spoke with Jeff and scheduled a time for him to come out. He never showed up and did not call to let me know he needed to reschedule. Very disappointing given all the good reviews.

Jeff refinished the hardwood flooring in a home we recently bought where the floors had been covered by carpeting for 30+ years. We honestly werent even sure the hardwood floors could be saved- they were covered in water stains, damaged, and overall in very poor condition.After we called Jeff and he saw the floors he was honest with us: he said he would do he his best to get the wood looking its best but wasnt sure that even a refinish could get all the damage out.When Jeff was finished we were beyond amazed with the results. Jeffrey did a great job. He was able to fit me in on short notice. The transition between the already finished and the newly refinished looks perfect. He replaced part of a board where there was a deep gouge and you wouldn’t notice. He got the work done in a timely manner. He communicated well. I appreciated him texting me to keep me updated.

We went out of town to Las Vegas, and had Jeff sand our existing floors, and add new hard wood to two bedrooms. He did a excellent job at tying in the old floor to the knew floor and you can’t even notice the difference. Excellent job! Would definitely recommend to anyone.

We hired Asher Flooring to refinish a set of stairs and our first floor hardwood floors. The work on the first floor also included cleaning up and refinishing kitchen wood floors that had been previously covered by linoleum, as well as laying new hardwood for a mudroom attached to the kitchen. Every piece of the job was done exceptionally well and a few months later we are still very happy with all of the work done. Along with the quality work, Jeffrey communicated everything along the way and was there to answer all of our questions. Job was done on time and the price was the most reasonable that we came across. To top it off, Jeffrey lent us his stair jig for some other work that we needed to do later on. We could not be happier with the results and would definitely use Asher again for any other work that we need.

Jeff from Asher Hardwood Flooring did a fantastic job refinishing our homes original hardwood floors. Our floors were in very rough shape after having carpet (and pad, some glued down) for over 30 years. There were even spots in the wood that had severe damage from what looked like a machine of some sort. Jeff was able to sand and remove the damage to restore our floors to a flawless finish. Jeff sanded, stained, and refinished our floors making them look brand new again. The work that Jeff did was more than fair for the quality of work he completed. He showed extreme professionalism, was extremely clean, and completed the project on the timeline he provided. He even sent us a picture of the floor midway to show the progress! Multiple people have commented on how beautiful our floors are and are impressed to hear that we had them refinished since they look so flawless. I had several quotes to install new hardwoods floors as well as refinish existing floors. Asher Hardwood flooring came in with a very competitive quote so I moved forward with Jeff at Asher. He was extremely responsive, prompt, and the quality of their workmanship was exceptional. The floors turned out better than expected and his attention to detail was flawless. He was doing the work during a snowstorm and the plow knocked over my garbage can when he was coming to start his work. He saw that and simply turned it upright when he saw that. I contacted Asher flooring via phone and email about getting an estimate with a very short project timeline. Jeffery responded via email and was able to arrange a time within a few days to take a look at my floor and provide a very reasonable estimate. He was able to fix a number of issues with the floor including a weird jagged seam in the middle of the room by cutting it out and installing a board perpendicular to the others (it looks great!). From the call for an estimate to completion of the project was less than 2 weeks and Jeffery did a great job in just 2 days!

Asher flooring did the engineered wood floor in the condo we just moved into. The quality of the work was excellent, and Jeffery was communicative (sent pictures of the work and indicated at different points during the work how longer it would take, both of which I asked him to keep me updated on). Work was slightly delayed from original plan, but I came out very happy and feeling he was doing everything to have the place ready in time. I did have to depose of some garbage and clean up after, but found the condo in very good shape.

We had Asher come replace our carpet upstairs with wood flooring. We never let people upstairs because of the ugly carpet. It was our least favorite part of the house. Now were getting caught for long stretches just staring at the gorgeous floor. Its our favorite space in the house now.I have to really stress that Asher Flooring did an absolutely stunning job! I typically try to do everything myself because: 1. Im frugal (aka cheap). 2. I always assume that my projects are more important to me than they are to anyone else. You know, if you want something done right... Jeff cared more about this flooring project than I did, is a true artist and price was beyond fair. Jeff explained everything to me as it was happening, obliged me when I was being nosey, and was even great with my two dogs (if youre a dog person, you get it). Were gonna have him back again to refinish the existing hardwood in the rest of the house.Its great to find someone truly talented who you can trust. I kinda wish Jeff also fixed cars, appliances, did plumbing, and my taxes. ;)

Jeff and the guys did an excellent job. They explained everything up front, came in right as quoted on price, and got the job done on time. The final result exceeded my expectations. We have a 60 year old hardwood floor that had lots of scratches, nails, and gouges and they were are able to restore it to new for a very fair price. They were also very respectful of our wishes while they were in our home.

They shouldnt have needed to ask for an upfront partial payment, but in a moment of weakness it was agreed to pay half before the job began. What do they do with the credit card information - submit and take the whole amount upfront. I have nothing but a bad feeling when I deal with a person or company that doesnt do what they say they are going to do. The work itself was acceptable.

Not impressed! At first I was excited to work with Jeffrey, but unfortunately the job he did refinishing our floors has turned into a nightmare..... the area by the fireplace where he patched in pieces and then refinished is uneven and blotchy..... he DID NOT tell us he was leaving on vacation till AFTER he took our deposit of $4000 and started the project---the last day before he went on vacation--- he said he would be back to give a second coat on the stairs, foyer and fireplace area--- in the meantime we needed the flooring completed in the kitchen so the island could be set ( never understood why he didnt do that before he left on vacation)in by our contractor.. my husband and contractor tried to install some of his left over pieces in the kitchen floor to keep the projects moving.. needless to say that looked bad--- when he finally showed up 5 days later--- he said he would fix the kitchen floor for another $750 and I agreed --- we needed the kitchen floor fixed! I left the house and he told my contractor this was HIS problem! What??, he just told me he would fix it! He told my contractor he didnt know HOW to fix it! Really? Needless to say I demanded the last coats of finishing to be completed and I terminated his services--- paying IN FULL the balance of the almost $7000 project!! Daves Hardwoods came to the rescue--- they knew exactly HOW to fix it and they did! Very bad experience with Heffrey and Asher Flooring
