My insurance towed my car here a week ago for a flat tire. I paid $1200 for 4 new tires for my car. The next day the same tire that went flat was flat again, along with the fact that they left all of the valves off of my tire. When I took it back to get the tire looked at the mechanic accused me of hitting something and messing up the tire. He put a new one on and I went about my day. On Friday of the same week the tire went flat again, this time while I was driving. I paid extra to have it towed somewhere else where they told me that my rim was bent and to never return to the place that put on my tires. Now Im paying more to get a new rim and another new tire from a place that actually looked to see what was wrong with the car.When I called back to ask them for even some of my money back the manager told me that I shouldnt have taken it somewhere else because the tire had a warranty and that he couldnt do anything for me. The worst customer service ever, probably by the same person who puts tires on a broken rim. Dont ever take your car here.

First time shopping at Lowes; Staff very helpful. Found some very nice deals. Much better deals than at Myers on items, as paper towels, toilet paper, bath, area rugs, etc.

So I come here for a emission test not knowing that they do not do them. I didnt know google said they did...but anyways...I walked in putting my mask and told the man who was sitting at the desk on his phone that I was here for a emission. My experience getting simple maintenance done here was terrible. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. They forgot the tire rotation, tried to overcharge the oil change, and recommended fluid replacement and other repairs that had recently been done!

Although the gentleman at the desk was very friendly and helpful, the actual service was terrible.I asked if they would check the tire pressure and was told yes. Not only was I there for 2 hours (for an oil change!) but when I got in my car and drove away the low tire pressure light was still on! I had to drive back and waited 15 more minutes before they took care of it! Will never return to this establishment

The estimate for a brake caliper was outrageous and incorrect. I took my car to the dealer and the diagnosis was simple...needed the pin greased. Can anyone say schister!!!

I made an appointment Saturday for Monday at 10am. And great thing I called because they didn’t even have my appointment scheduled. The guy was very rude and said you can come at 4.

Never answers the phone and ladies do not go there alone to get service done on your car, they will tell you anything to take your money and youll have the same issues with your car.

One of the least costly repairs, two tires replaced, but bought tires at different store, midas put them on, balanced them, at a reasonably rate.

The cost to do the job was ridiculous the marked up the cost of my parts by 70% didnt know I saw the part invoices. I will never ho back!

When I went there to get my car inspected (one of the mechanics didn’t like that because it was the weekend) they keep telling me there was things wrong with my car that I know wasn’t true. Like saying I need new brakes pads when they were new. I just went somewhere else

Came into Midas for a pressure check on Saturday. Was told, by the manager, that they were busy and that I should make an appointment for today. I bought my tires at midas and have roadside hazard protection. I show up to my appointment and am grilled about why I think the tire pressure light is on. I ask them to check if there is something wrong with the tires and am very rudely told that they don’t fix sensors and that I should return to Chicago to get it checked there. Can’t even do a simple tire pressure check.

One of the worst & hilarious experiences I encountered. First off, I walked in right into an argument between a customer and the manager about work completed on a vehicle and the outrageous bill ahe received. After hearing how much she paid for the work done on her car I was shocked myself and wanted to add my knowledged opinion, but it wasnt my business so I decided to stay out of it.Ok now to my issue. Im an auto mechanic myself by the way, so for you guys/girls that dont know why companies will have cheap oil change deals its really just to get you in the door to upsale you on other services you may need, so with that said. I went there just for an oil change because I was already out running errands. They finish and call me to the desk. First the guy jokingly says, Ok so thatll be $500 for the oil change. 😊 Im like ok yea. Haha right. (Not really feeling the vibe from how he played the previous customer.) Then he asks me before he shows me my work order & quote, Are you ready for this? Are you sure youre ready? Im like, Yeah. Thinking to myself like I know this guy isnt about try to upsell me. Im already up to speed on whats going on with my cars because I service them myself. Then he hands me over a quote for over $3300 dollars of repairs needed on my car.😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 All I could tell him was, Man I just came here for an oil change.Thats all. Then he persisted and said, Hey man we even have our own in-house financing to get you going too so where you wanna start first? Like he didnt even hear what I just said. 🤣🤣🤣 Sorry to tell yall, but I couldnt even hold my poker face any longer. I started dying laughing at this character. I wanted to tell him about my job title and history of this vehicle, but from how I seen him play dumb with the woman before me I just took my receipt and dipped out. With the amount of repairs that were on the invoice my car dash should be lit up like the Vegas strip and sitting in a salvage yard somewhere right now.😂It took me about 30 minutes to stop laughing after I left. But anyway, if theres a time I dont change my own oil again I know for sure I wont be going back there though.

I was in town on a Saturday and concerned about a wobble that had developed in my steering wheel. I had to drive 3 hours home the next day and wanted to make sure it was safe to do so. I knew I needed new tires.They said to come by and I was there at 3:20.They took the car and came back saying I also needed new front struts and I was lucky I had come to them since most other businesses closed early on Saturdays.My car is a 2015 model I bought new in December of 2015.My Dad races cars and I know more about cars than your average woman. I was highly skeptical and turned them down.Made it home, took my car straight to my dealer and yeah....struts look great.These people are giant liars who thought they had a gullible woman to pull a fast one on.Unbelievable.I’ve already warned several people who live in that area to not support them and to spread the word.

I wish I could do negative stars. I came in for a brake flush and was told lots was wrong with my car. When my boyfriend asked questions he was laughed at for asking a ‘dumb’ question, they then got combative when he had a follow up question or challenged what they were saying with other possible solutions.(They are the experts, and no one can question that) I was desperate to get my car fixed, so I took their advice and went on a payment plan and they started work on my car. When they were done they said all I needed was a brake booster and all would be good. I was told it was safe to drive. It was not!!!!! I had no brakes I had to use the e-brake or I would have crashed. Based on what they said, I had another mechanic put in a new brake booster and yet my car was still broken. I brought it back to ask why it was not working and I was yelled at and bullied to the point of tears. First they said we further broke it since they did. (not true) Then they said it was still broken because they didn’t look at everything originally (which they said they did) Then they said there were other things werent even looked at. They then said that they replaced other (still working) parts that “could possibly go wrong as a preventative. (not originally expressed). Overall it seemed like they kept changing what they said they did, or looked at, or what I originally had asked them to fix. (ALL I WANTED WAS WORKING BRAKES) Because of how frightening it was to be in that place, as they were overly defensive I just let it go. I was going to leave it there till I could talk to the owner but was told I could not because they thought I would accuse them of further breaking my car. (seriously?) I then left to get it fixed elsewhere.Following on that, Lo and behold 4 months later that payment plan was nothing like I was told. I was told 4 months, 267$ no interest and if its payed on time that would be it. Well I was just notified that I owe an extra 3,000 because of a 299% interest I did not know about, which triggered because I didn’t do a call in rebate within 100 days or something. (This was in the contract, but not talked about, and I signed on their computer based on their description, without really reading it all)I have tried to reach the owner but no one will give me any information.I dont know what to do because now I cant afford to fix the car Im going to be paying for for the next 8 months.TL;DR:Midas misled me about what work was done and what was fixed, also payment plan contract had a 100 day clause to call or trigger 299% APR that I wasn’t told about.

They perform decent work. Their prices are through the roof though! Its best to get your vehicle looked at. Find out what it is and go somewhere else.

Worst experience. Said the car would be done in an hour. Called 1.5 hours later and they said it was done but he said I had to talk to the technician about the condition of the brakes. When I got to the shop, the car was still up in the air. When I tried to talk to the technician that was working on the car, he ignored me completely. Would not even acknowledge I was there. One guy said the tires were not rotated. Next guy said they were. (No way for me to tell for sure.)The sheet with stats about the brake inspection had numbers saying the front had to be replaced. Bottom half where the stats of the back brakes should be, was left blank. Brake check by another garage said the front pads were at 3 mm 10 days ago. Midas said they were less than 1 mm (less than .039 in.) But they didnt find anything wrong that would make the wear that fast.

I had an appointment at Midas for an oil change. I came 15 minutes prior to the appointment and called to let them know that I was there. While speaking to the worker he claimed that his whole computer system had just frozen and that he wouldn’t be able to do my oil change and said that he’d have to reschedule my appointment. He failed to ask when I’d be able to come in next but hung up instead, horrible experience, very unprofessional, would not recommend.

Freindly staff but not very organized.

For starters, I tried to schedule an appointment online, they never called me back like the website says they will. I called them and was able to schedule an appointment. My car needs full synthetic oil, but the guy asked me what type of oil I wanted. When I told him it was a mandatory full synthetic car, he poked a couple buttons and told me that the oil is more than the normal full synthetic price and it would cost me $91. I drive a Toyota Corolla, and when I took it to the Midas in Waukesha, they guy both looked up what my car needed for me, and didn’t charge me extra for some fancy oil. I’m kinda concerned they’re asking me what type of oil I want, and not looking up to see what I need. The next service sticker says 69,900 miles. My car currently has just shy of 87000 miles... I have very limited faith that they actually did what they were supposed to and didn’t mess anything up. I will be going back to Waukesha. Avoid this one.

Emissions testing is posted on the website but when I arrived there was a sign on the door that read emissions testing not done here.

Do not go here they will try to take advantage of you. I went in for an oil change and left with them pressuring me to spend another $2,500 on a new axle and struts. Talked to another professional who said that all of their recommendations were unnecessary. Safe to say that I will not be back.

THEN told me I needed to replace my rack and pinion steering system. Nope. Took car someplace else. All I needed was power steering fluid. Im done here.

I was patiently waiting for them to replace my wheel hub on my car for over 3 hours, which was expected. To then finding out before taking it for a test drive both my ABSENCE sensor and traction control came on. Showed them immediately and they start trying say it could possibly be a bad sensor now even though it was perfectly fine before I came in. Now after being there over 5 hours I still have to return Monday morning, still pay for the part and waste another day here. I will never shop with the midas franchise again after this experience. They are way over priced, no customer service skills and Im unsatisfied.

Get multiple quotes when dealing with this Midas. Like a previous poster said, they tend to inflate labor rates and prices. I wouldnt go here at all, but if you do.....DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND RESEARCH so you dont get screwed.

Went there and dropped car off. No appointment. Had run out we a bolt and it was stuck in tire. Desk manager said no problem! Left car there and within two hours car was fixed! Super fast, super cheap and very kind. Advised me of low wool in car and also warned that my plug for tire may not hold. But alas, car still going great and thanks for the service!

My Midas location in Milwaukee is SKETCHY. I had 2 tires replaced here a year ago. They did not install correctly and were both almost completely flat within 24 hours. Manager told me I’d have a “few free oil changes” to make up for the screw up. Fast forward to now, I made an appointment to come in (which they had no record of making once I came in at the agreed on time) and told me they had no record of the oil changes. This place is super shady and does a poor job of servicing. Avoid at all costs.

Look elsewhere for car maintenance. The only positive of this store is Aaron. Staff are told to add time to repairs and inflate the standard labor rate to all work. They are also expected to increase customers bills by a few hundred dollars. The district manager himself (Dustin) has done this. Very unethical practices.Definitely seek car maintenance elsewhere with a company that treats ALL customers fairly.Also, before the Midas social media team asks me to send them feedback about my negative experience, this review wasnt based on myself being a customer, but having knowledge of management employees. If I were the Midas corporation and Leeds West (the company that owns this particular Midas), I would worry more about investigating what my management staff Is doing and HOW they are overcharging the customer.Edited to add: WHY would I contact Dustin, the very person who is encouraging these unethical practices?!? Youre right, I am NOT a customer. I am the wife of an employee YOU fired for not cheating your customers. Shame on you, Midas, for firing a hard working HONEST employee. Your loss. You will never employee the right people when you encourage them to steal from your customers.

Tried charging me 3300 for a timing belt (which I had replaced 8,000 miles ago) and to fix a head gasket. Wayyyyyyy overpriced. Nothing wrong with the staff.. but I will neverrrr go back to another Midas trying to rip people off.

They tried to tell me that my car needed almost $2,000 worth of work, not knowing that I am a mechanic myself.

Midas quoted $3,690 to fix my car to pass emissions. Dang auto did it PLUS fixed the cars ball joint for $1,036 total. * Price Comparison...Parts - Midas $2.942 + labor $512. + shop supply charge(?)$39.93. * VS - Dang Auto - Parts $693 + labor $288.

Had a 11:30 appointment for brakes they still havent started on my car and its 3:45😡 I will never go to this one again and when they called me they quoted me a price of $729 for some front brakes, and rotors and one caliber. I went to other places and my car didnt need the caliber changed. Midas is some crooks who tried to take advantage of me cause Im a woman. I wonder how they get any business at all with this kind of foolishness going on.

This was one of the worst examples of a car shop I have been to. I was laughed at for asking questions deemed dumb I was treated poorly, and spoken poorly about from the staff. I was told they inspected everything, then when I brought the car back and asked why it was still broken they said i did stuff after they gave it to us. We did not do that, so they changed the story to they didnt see it, i asked why they said they checked everything, they changed it to they saw it but didnt mention it, i asked why they didnt mention it when we asked if there were ANY other potential issues, they had no answer.Was told the primary cylinder was broken for brakes and needed to be replaced, I asked how it would have broken, they scoffed at me for asking and accused me of not trusting them. When we brought the car back in, they said the primary cylinder was replaced as a preventive measure in case it were to break in the future.(misleading)Short story, we came in with brake issues, asked them to check it all and fix it all and we would pay. $1200 later and the brakes still dont work, and now it is our fault. When we wanted to talk to a manager we were told we couldnt leave our car there, because they were sure we would accuse them of tampering with and breaking the car out of spite.Rude, harassing, didnt fix what was asked for, misleading quotes and repairs, overpriced, no recourse on work done, no challenge on labor hours (even while watching them not touch the car for the first 2 hours we sat there (and were charged for)

I went there to get a oil change and they said I needed a right control arm and it would cost me 219 so when I get to my appointment they said the guy ordered the wrong part and it would cost 480 dollars well I didn’t have that then he said what about your oil change which I just had done that’s how they found the other problems they also said I needed a catylic converter that would like 800 but I was more worried about getting the Rt arm fixed.

I took my truck in on Saturday evening for a brake inspection. I needed my vehicle as soon as possible. Midas not only provided me with excellent customer service skills they put back brake pads on and rotars the same day.The price was reasonable and they were very honest about advising me that the front brakes were in excellent condition. They also informed me that I had a leak which I was already aware of. I would perfer dealing with auto mechanics who are fair and not out to get you. People complain about prices being high,you get what you pay for. Great Job!

Ok so my experience starts out with an online appointment for an oil change special that was supposed to be $20. So I brought the car in and they told me that online appointment doesnt mean anything and there was 3 cars ahead of me so I left came back four hours later and they still didnt even start the work. I left very upset without an oil change. The people who work their look very sketchy like they would say they did work they didnt do.
