If youre in the mood to beat on a car, make it someone elses. Like Hertz. I pay for insurance for a reason right? Havent had to use it here, but in Mexico its nice to have.
I literally only had like 5 mins until they closed on a Saturday and they literally waiting until I got there. Very helpful great customer service was in and out in record time with no hassle!
Extremely bad service. As a customer you do everything in your power to be fair but get treated unfairly by businesses. Read the fine print on their gas before you return. If you think you are getting a deal, they will make up the money in form of some other fees.
The manager told me I didnt have to physically take the car to the location to get the coverage removed and tells me I had to take it there until after I have to return the car. I was charged for coverage and now they tell me Im not getting reimbursed for the incompetence and stubbornness of the manager.
They charged us for 1 more day because theyre not open at Sunday. Even we brang back to car at Saturday evening. This so ridiculous. And also they gave away our reserved car because simply we just came 1 hour late. So they charge us more for other car. Basically we payed 2 times more than what should we pay.
Customer service above and beyond. I would fly out of my way just to experience the great service all three of these young ladies exude. Hertz you need to get these ladies a state room in that location. Those ladies turn so many cars over in what I have witnessed, that the office space should reflect their caliber. I am not speaking of customer seating, I mean appreciation for your trio.

The least expensive place I could find to rent a car in the San Jose area. Very affordable and the service was very fast. Its a really tiny office inside the Crowne Plaza with two people working there at any given time. They were very courteous and professional. I was in and out in 5 minutes both on pick up and drop off. I would definitely use them again and have no complaints.
Its a small little office, but they are always doing their best to get to everyone as soon as they can. All the folks here have always been so kind to me when I rent. And i rent often!
Pros: Prices are Low. Slightly lower than other locations, not super low.Cons (Even as a 5 Start Gold Member):1. Extremely long wait time to get the car as they do not have any cars ready.2. Quality of the vehicle that you get is usually not great (Very High Mileage, and bad interior and exterior). Bad odor some times from the interior.3. Billing is not as expected unless you return it in person. Do not use the dropbox to return the rental. The agents process the return very late in the day and bill for late return.Returning in person takes a long wait time to complete the return and get the receipt.4. Timings are 8am to 5pm and not 7:30 am to 6pm as shown on Hertz website.5. Some times you are given a low category car than what you booked.Overall, the small savings in the prices are not worth the extra long wait time in getting the car and returning the car.

She is very knowledgeable, informative, and I can always count on her for 5 star service. Amazing customer experience. I was late due to my flight delay and called up the representative indicating my delay. The lady waited for me after office hours and provided me the vehicle. Appreciate the customer service
Kathleen and muhammad are amazing people working here. They gave me tips about rental cars and i had to make a booking for personal use and they helped me do it so easily. They are really sweet people.Edit- i am editing this review and making it 1 star. This time around kathleen was quite rude. We got a car and we politely asked if we had a choice on cars. She was very blunt in saying no. We then proceeded to check the car given to us and saw that there was an indication of low windscreen fluid. We asked her to get that refilled. She said we can’t help you with that and offered a half a bottle of water. We had to get back to the hotel and refill the fluid ourselves. I was surprised how such a good experience last time around turned out bad this time.

Booked a car for 8am. Called twenty minutes before pickup time to find out they wouldnt have the cars in until 9. Got to the office at 9:10, its now 9:45 and Im still just waiting, because apparently the guy who cleans the cars took all the keys with him?In fairness the lady at the desk was very nice about the whole mess. Other than her politeness I couldnt be much more disappointed.Lucky me though, I was offered to pay more money for one of the vehicles they DID actually have available. But forgive me for not being willing to pay extra after already being put 2 hours behind schedule.
A gold plus member with Hertz. During my second time there, there are other car options available, I was still provided a car which didn’t have back up camera and parking assist options though I have insisted on taking other cars which belong to the same full size category. In my first visit, I was provided incorrect information about the pricing as well. Both the experiences I had are bad. I felt the woman who serviced during my second visit talked very rudely like I’m desperate to get the car from Hertz there. She even insisted on showing a second ID card in addition to California driving license. I don’t know why! may be she is determined to not rent out a car that day!
This location will double charge you and give you the run around transferring calls, passing the buck untilyou give up on getting a refund. Bad business! Hours are extremely limited, and workers will tell you return anytime with the hotel staff, leaving out the part about - by the way, if we are closed and you return with the hotel staff we will automatically charge your credit card as if you were in possession of the vehicle until we return. For example, if you rent on Friday and return on Saturday after hours (9-12) say 2pm. You will be charged until Monday morning when the Hertz staff returns and collects the keys from the Hotel staff.
The service was very low. I got car 45 minutes late then my reserved time and after 10 mile we run, it was notified check engine on screen even it run just 13xxx miles.
Excellent experience, absolute no issues, in and out in a jiffy, excellent car, performed like a champ for 12 days.

This place was worthless. I reserved a car, but they didnt have a car for me at the agreed upon time. I want to give it zero stars, but that isnt an option.
Very baaaaaaaad experience. Had a reservation but took me 2 hrs to get the car and no gas in the car. The car we get is very old-no backup camera no remote control key! No bluetooth connection!!! When we r back to return the car, the location closed 2 hrs earlier WITHOUT notice in advance and we paid one more day due to the delay when trying to contact other assistants and eventually return it to sjc airport!
Never ever rent a car from here. I came in to return my car on December 24th and there was a huge queue and only one staff member. He asked me to leave the keys with him and that he would complete the return formalities later in the day and my receipt would be emailed to me. He did not do that and since the past 2 days my card is getting charged as the facility is temporarily closed for Christmas. I am so worried because I trusted the staff member and he did not keep his word. This is a very incompetent center to rent the car from. Please avoid. I will update about my experience with them when they reopen and fix this.

They billed me wrong amount never rectified that since 6 months, still the refund is pending from their end, I had to claim my CC to get my refund. HERTZ is all about only grabbing money and never give back even mistake is from their end !!!

We had bad experience. My oversea friends rented a car here, its so far so good when renting, the guy promised to give a ride when returning car, also promised to charge on another friends credit card, because the friend was not there when renting but she needs receipt for claim. However, when returning the car, things changed, the guy said its too far to give a ride, by the way, its about 12 mins driving to our home. And refused to charge on the credit card we requested and of course the name on receipt is not what we expected! Moreover, we said return time is 6pm when booking and came back at 5:30pm, the guy was rude and unhappy with it.

GREAT TIME AND MOMENTI spent my saturday going through a terrible experience with enterprise milipitas location and the location that serviced my area only to find out they dont accept people with out of state IDs and no major Credit Card..I have perfect Credit but not to use my Credit for renting my car is my choice and they should absolutely not Give a Sh** about that but they did.......So fast forward after that hell I was in dire straights and I needed a vehicle...I went to the hertz website rented a car and drove to this location..Dung the service attendant was in the lobby packing his gear to go home because they closed 15 mins ago. I said to him I reserved a car and I am sorry I am late but I absolutely needed this car Dung put down his bags I clearly could see it effected him to do this but he did it anyway and He was extremely cordial and helpful through the entire process even recommending the best routes to take..And how to conserve the best gas..He did the entire rental long after he was supposed to go home to his family..and he even let my park my car in the #1 club parking stalls...He did me a solid and I have to repay that. There were large scratches on the car and he pointed them out immediately before renting. We walked around made sure we had it all lined up..I was able to use the Navigation and he didnt even charge me for it. this was an incredible experience with a good company. I thought that hertz was the bad guy but Dung proved me wrong and showed me that this company does know how to take care of its people. The man deserves a promotion and a bonus.....
The worst hertz to go to. This location is way understaffed and unfit to serve its customers. The employees are incompetent and barely inspect your car before and after you receive it.
