I have been to many places over the years in the Middle Georgia area to get my Toyota Sienna serviced. Out of all the locations Ive been to, Childre Chevrolet is by far the best Ive experienced. They are the ONLY business that will make sure that my van is at 110% before I leave their establishment. If that wasnt enough to make me a repeat customer, their staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful in making sure that I am well informed of what my vehicle needs and even has someone follow up about my experience.Speaking of staff, I have to give a major shout out to Thomas who is the oil tech that has worked on my van consistently. He let me know that my alignment was off along with the fact that a prior dealership had put different sized tires on my vehicle without my knowledge. (The one time I didnt go to Childre NEVER AGAIN). I am incredibly grateful that he took the time to explain everything in person instead of just handing me a piece of paper with the details.I HIGHLY recommend their service department for all your car needs and if you can get Thomas? My 2017 GMC Canyon was there for an oil change, tire rotation, and transmission check. A transmission flush was recommended. I was not told of the cost and wasnt sure if it was covered under warranty. It was more expensive than I anticipated. I am hoping that it resolves the issue. So far, so good.

Great customer service here! Salesman are salesman no matter where you go but youre at least treated special here. A family-owned business for many years (the original owner still hangs out there, even at age 99!), they pride themselves on the customers first and vehicles second.

They were very professional and helped me with all of my cars issues, going above and beyond what I couldve asked for!I brought my car in first to have recall work done and when it was returned, it was idling a bit low. I brought it back in and they diagnosed and were able to have the issue solved all within the same day! Would recommend to anyone looking to have their car serviced in the Milledgeville area!

Childre is always responsive to fitting you in based on the problem and your schedule. The service managers are also always helpful and make things right even if there was a minor problem. Not this time, but I have had a problem in the past with a technician claiming there was not problem with my tire, when there was. I had to point it out again and the service manager did not charge me since it wasted my time and the vehicle was not ready as promised.

Went for oil change with tire rotation and free 21 point inspection. All was completed in a timely manner. Service with a smile 😁

My 2013 truck’s check engine light came on a couple of weeks ago, carried it to autozone and they said it was a O2 sensor.I called Childre Chevrolet and the lady in service said I need to bring it by to make sure they read the same issue and had parts in stock to repair. They were to busy that week to read the codes, the following week they had a mechanic on vacation. So the service manager scheduled for me to have the truck there 6/23/2020 at 8AM. I arrived and the person in service said they couldn’t give me a accurate reading if the check engine light is not on, they could only read old codes.NO ONE that I spoke with over the last 3 1/2 weeks mentioned anything about this. WHAT A WASTE, maybe I need to go look at a FORD!!!!!!!THAT WILL BE MY LAST DEALING WITH THIS PLACE!!!!!

Charged us for a tire rotation that they didn’t do. I verified this with my pressure tester as the one tire that was a couple PSI low was in the same location as before the visit.

The work was done to my satisfaction but the price of the parts are twice what I could buy the Genuine GM parts for from a GM website. So it is very pricey to have the work done here. But I am satisfied and would still go back if need be.

We brought our 2008 Yukon in to your service department to have a diagnostic run as we were experiencing a few things that needed to be addressed. When we were called, we were told that we needed a new engine. When we came to trade it, my husband started the car one last time and found nothing wrong with it...there was no noise, no ticking, etc.No one was able to explain what the technician had done to come to the conclusion that we needed a new engine. We took our car home and found that the valve covers had never been taken off and we had NO oil in the car. We have since replaced the oil and have had no problems with our car!Poor customer service from the service department!

My wife and I just purchased our second vehicle from Childre Chevrolet in Milledgeville and we couldnt be more pleased. Richard, our first salesperson in 2014 was amazing - he explained everything to us in detail and made the entire process easy. Because of his excellent service we returned in March 2019 to purchase another vehicle (a truck). Our new sales person Ben made us feel right at home, and his service was just as sensational. I wanted a few things added to my new truck and he had the parts ordered and installed in two days-I was almost shocked when he called to say my truck was ready. Theyre 2/2 in our book. When the time comes for another vehicle we look forward to returning to Childre. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased a 2016 GMC Sierra pickup from Childre Chevrolet. I worked with Richard Hester and he was most polite and very prompt in answering questions and getting me the specific pictures I wanted. I was traveling a long distance to buy the truck sight unseen so I had a lot of questions. We hung up $400 apart on price and Richard said he wished he could do better, but his boss said they were at their lowest price. I then asked if they would add running boards to the truck for their price and Richard made it happen, so we had deal! We found a very polite and professional atmosphere when we got to Childre Chevrolet and the truck was even better than our expectations. We were visiting GA, it was a very rainy Saturday afternoon when our passenger side window on our Tahoe stopped working, locked in the fully down position. It was only a few minutes before the service department was scheduled to close, but they said they would do what they could to help. The nice people at Childre Chevrolet Buick GMC readily disassembled our door, figured out the problem, and while they didn’t have the necessary part in stock, they fixed the window so it would stay closed long enough for us to make it the 5 hours drive back to Florida. To top it off, they didn’t charge us for any of the effort even though I offered to pay overtime for the assistance. They went above and beyond the call of duty to help us and didn’t charge us for it.I highly recommend Childre Chevrolet Buick GMC and I would buy a car or truck from them in a heartbeat if I lived in the area.

During an online search for a truck, I came across 3 at Childre that caught my attention. I called to confirm the 3 trucks were available before making the trip from my home in Warner Robins. I talked to Richard Hester and he confirmed they were there. Richard showed me all 3 trucks very courteously and patiently, never pushy or pressuring, THAT was nice!!! Richard was also very knowledgeable and helpful. During the test drive on the one I eventually bought, I noticed the drivers side mirror was a little wobbly. Richard had the service department check it out and informed me it was broken but would make sure to have it replaced. I brought it back a few days after the purchase to have the mirror replaced. While sitting in the waiting area I witnessed Childre team members greeting each other with good mornings and small talk that speaks volumes to me about the operation as a whole. From sales, management, service, everyone was polite and displayed a genuine great attitude. I would not hesitate to recommend Childre, and as a matter of fact, I have done so already.

If I could give no starts I definitely would! You buy a used vehicle and 3 days later it needs basically $1,000 worth of work and they want you to cover everything. After arguing about it they still expect me to pay half of the bill! I know it was used vehicle purchase but still it was only 3days!! Vehicles should be inspected better before being sold! Never again!

. Salesman Matt is great. Bought a 2018 Colorado back in August. I’ve been having a few issues. Including paint deformities. They ensure me they are going to get it taken care of. They are having trouble replicating my transmission and backup camera concerns.l but I have plenty of warranty left. But they have had the paint inspected and they ensure me it will be fixed. I’m glad I was treated right by childre. Thanks. Just waiting on my appointment to drop the truck off for repair.

My experience was with the parts department. I was trying to order some parts. Told they were sold individually, so I ordered two. The cost was almost 200.00 dollars. There is no refund on electrical parts and I understood that. But when I picked up the parts I found that the parts I ordered came two to a pack so now I have parts I dont need and cant use elsewhere. The parts department should be able to give people the right information to so they dont have to spend more than needed. Or make some kind of concession due the fact, I wouldnt have ordered two if I had not been told I needed to.
