First off, the dental care that I have received from Dr. Mullikan over the years has been good. I have no complaints about his care at all.Here is where my disappointment comes from. I was entering into an intensive paramedic training program that allowed me almost no time off for 10 months. Knowing this, I scheduled an appointment for a year later. When the time came for the appointment (two weeks ago), a last-minute national registry review class was scheduled for the same time. I called the dental clinic to try to reschedule my cleaning for later in the day with the same hygienist who I had seen for years. I was told that they didn’t have any openings later that day and that the clinic was booked. I kept my appointment, knowing that I would miss my class. After that, a family member who uses the clinic told me that my hygienist had quit and didn’t work there anymore. He also said that the fill in hygientist that he had wasn’t vaccinated against Covid 19. Hearing this, I called the clinic back. I mentioned that they should have told me that the hygienist wasn’t there anymore because I specifically asked about it. I then asked who my new hygienist would be. I was told who it was, and then asked if they were vaccinated. The person I spoke with on the phone sounded very flustered/upset and said that they can’t ask them that. I said I needed to know or I would have to cancel. After a few words, the person on the phone put me on hold. When she came back, she said that the hygienist wasn’t there, but all of their coworkers and staff said that they were indeed vaccinated. I restated that I need to cancel if they aren’t vaccinated. I was again assured that they were. When I arrived at my appointment (masked), I was pleasantly greeted. When my hygienist came to get me, they introduced themselves and were also masked. In the exam room, they took my temperature. While that was happening, I asked if they were completely vaccinated against Covid. Their answer was, “Why do you ask?” I said that I was uncomfortable having my mask off with a person one foot away from me for an hour if that person wasn’t vaccinated. They said that they would have their mask on. I said that didnt matter to me, and again asked if they were vaccinated. They wouldn’t answer my question, so I said that I had been assured that they were vaccinated. They still didn’t answer so I said I had to leave. On my way out, at the front desk, I reminded them that I specifically called to ask if the hygienist was vaccinated and was told that they were. I reminded them that I said I would have to cancel if they weren’t vaccinated. I also told them that I was flat out lied to. This lie could be deadly to my two children, who aren’t old enough to be vaccinated. I told them that they wasted my day and caused me to miss a very important class that I couldn’t make up. They offered to switch me to a new hygienist, but the damage was done and I left.I can no longer recommend this clinic. They lied to me and could have put the lives of my young children in jeopardy. I am not here to debate the vaccine with anybody. The views explained here are mine, and I am entitled to them. I don’t feel that I was out of line by asking the questions that I asked. I will find a new clinic that I can trust, and I would advise anyone reading this to do the same.

I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Mulliken and this was my third visit to Mill Creek Dentistry. What a great experience! They have mastered the art of dealing with the new realities of Covid while still maintaining a personal connection with their patients. The entire staff is pleasant and professional.

I have horrible anxiety about going to the dentist and so I avoided going for many years. When one of my fillings fell out last year I was forced to go in and Dr. Bill was recommended to me. He got me in right away and it was my first dentists experience where I didn’t feel anxious. Dr. Bill and his whole staff are so nice and also funny which helps when you are having anxiety. I could not be happier with my dental care from Dr. Mulliken and staff! I rarely have dental issues, but recently needed a root canal. Mulliken’s office got an appt. for me at a great endodontist, and Dr. M just placed my temporary crown yesterday. All feels great! I’m not sure I have ever been disappointed in anything at this dental office: dental hygienist is terrific and assistants are friendly and VERY competent. Dr. Mulligan has a demeanor which is both calm yet having some energy at the same time. By this I mean you can tell he knows his stuff and is reassuring as needed and explains things in simple terms that makes sense while he gets the point across, yet has a good sense of humour and is affable. He is very skilled yet down to earth rather than having any haughty sense at all. His pricing is such that you know you arent being taking to the cleaners if you just go in for a cleaning. Compared to dentists with equal skill Id say bargain is fitting. That said know his skill is tops! He will tell you what is going on and if bad news he will not twist your arm to get anything done and will try to give different options that work. If good news he will give you that rather than find work. I would very much recommend him.

This rating is for the front desk/billing dept. i was charged over $500. for a cleaning from the Hygienist. This is supposedly AFTER my Insurance paid!!!AND the statement letter they sent me, was VERY rude, and threatening to take me to collections. For only one month after being billed. Something shady going on there.

I had planned on looking for a new dentist after the first of the year. My friend suggested Dr. Mullliken. Unfortunately, plans changed and I needed a good dentist immediately. I called and an appointment was set up for the next day. The problem was fixed in less than an hour. Dr Milliken and his entire staff, from the gals who answer the phones to the assistants, are friendly and helpful from the get-go. Its tough breaking in a new doctor, but I know this new group will be extra special.

Ive had some bad experiences in the past with other dentists that always made me shy away when trying someone new, but the staff here is just amazing. Very friendly, willing to listen and do their best to work with any fears or concerns that you have. The office space is very professional, and they are really good about keeping their appointment times. I dont think Ive had to wait for more than 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time before they are taking me back. Each procedure room has a TV if you need some distraction.
