I don’t recommend this place to anyone. I was looking for a new hair place and found them on Google.I have blonde hair down to the shoulders. I asked over the phone and they told me the price is $150-240. Then, when I went there I asked the person who did my hair before she started to work on my hair and she said the price is $245. I asked if that includes everything so that I don’t get surprised in the end. She says yes. I gave them a two star because the person who worked on my hair was nice but the two owners are a ripoff. They charged my card $320. Now, I had told them to give $20 to the girl who did my hair so taking away the $20 and leaving them with $300. $55 more than what I was told. They never mentioned that they will charge me $300. Even $245 is still double of that I expected to pay since my hair now it’s very short. This place is a total ripoff. I don’t recommend it to anyone unless you don’t care about where your money goes. The owners are ripoff and don’t communicate with you. Oh and I forgot to mention, I still didn’t achieve the color that hey promised to give me and on top of that before they started the work I told them that if they can’t give me what I’m asking I can go and find someone else before they even started with the work. But they insisted that I stay there and get my hair done... the word hair place I have ever been to. Definitely don’t know how to keep costumers happy especially if you want your new costumers to come back. I have no reason to go back to this place. The color I wanted was not achieved, and they charged me $55 more without my consent.
I have never experienced anything like Styles International Salon. I don’t know what’s worse, the unprofessional behavior or the actual quality of my hairstyle. I went to Styles for a perm for the holidays, mind you I have been getting perms for over 20 years and I have never had any damage. From reading all of these other reviews, I see the owner tells you there is nothing they can do if they don’t know the customer isn’t satisfied and if the customer doesn’t say anything at the time. Well before I even paid for my perm I had quietly let my stylist AND the owner know that I was not satisfied with it at all. I was told to put some of their products in it and soak my hair in coconut oil and that will make my hair better. I took their advice and after a week of soaking my hair in coconut oil and not letting any heat or style tools near it, it looks exactly the same, if not worse.My hair looks like I touched an outlet with a fork and got electrocuted. It’s not curly, yet not straight. It just sticks out all over the place. I can’t style it. It’s crunchy. It’s brittle to the touch. I can’t run my fingers through it or even comb it. (This was after paying an extra $30 for a conditioning treatment that I was told will help with the perm and leave my hair with no damage). Worse and most importantly, I have a BALD SPOT on the back of my head as you can see. After I noticed the bald spot, which I wasn’t aware of at first and was made aware of by my daughter since it is in the back of my head, I called Styles early in the morning asking them to please help me fix my hair that they damaged. I waited all day, and got no phone call back. When I got no phone call back, I decided to go back to the salon and see what they can do.As soon as I walked in there, the owner rolled his eyes at me and once I told him I would like a refund or for someone to please fix my hair because I have a bald spot now and my hair is completely damaged, he told me “We don’t do refunds,” walked away, and shoo-ed me away. As you can imagine, I was not happy with this response. I then asked again what the salon could do for me since it is due to them that I now have damaged, balding hair. THE OWNER TOLD ME THAT I WENT HOME AND SHAVED THE BALD SPOT IN THE BACK OF MY HEAD MYSELF. He then pointed his finger in my face and screamed at the top of his lungs at me to get out of the salon and called the cops and told me he’s going to have me arrested for trespassing. In the midst of this, a CUSTOMER, who is a family friend of the owners’, was screaming at me like a pit bull telling me how great the salon is and that her husband is a Milford cop and she will call him down here right away. She then continued to keep screaming at me and tell me I cannot write any negative reviews anywhere either because that’s giving them bad business. It’s not giving you bad business if it is the TRUTH. This review is to PREVENT anyone else from having my experience. So not only is the STAFF rude, but their customers, who only seem to be “family friends,” are also rude.All in all, I am just baffled at the lack of respect and human decency I was shown at this salon. If you’re at fault, you’re supposed to own up to it and fix it. You’re not supposed to blame it on the customer and tell them to get out. I guess this is not this businesses’ MO. This salon has so many bad reviews that they use them as a promo to get new customers in. So good luck to anyone who decides to use this review as a 15% off coupon & BEWARE…
I go here as well as my husband and kids. This is the salon in Milford to get your hair done. I have been to them all ! My husband get the best cuts and a hot shave and my kids always look great after our visit My kids Haircuts are clean and even always !. The staff is very knowledgeable and are masters at foiling and coloring. I can always count on great laughs and my hair done right. I tell all my friends and family about this salon, it is a true gem for the Milford community. I know the owners never talk about it but they donate very generously to many causes in Milford as well as surrounding towns. I know this as I am on several oversight committees and have seen their generosity first hand. I am very happy I am a customer to such professional, loyal and dedicated salon. 2 more weeks until my next appointment. Cant wait see you all then.
They do the absolute best Balayage and Coloring in the state. They are true artist. I love all the suggestions and the creativity that goes on in the salon. Everyone is friendly, inviting and we always have a blast when I Come in for my color I have been going for 2 years I wouldnt trust anyone else with my hair.
As a professional women who works In New York City I receive compliments everyday . I cannot say enough great things about Styles International . They are highly professional and go above and beyond to cater to customers needs. I should know I am very needy when it comes to my hair. I will never go anywhere else . I use to go to those high price stylist who toot their own horn and say they are educators and enter all those industry contests just to get publicity so they could charge allot and in the end they only specialize in one thing. i.e color, cutting, bayalage, ombre etc. I can tell you hands down the staff at Styles crushes any salon I have ever been to. I have been to allot as I do travel allot for my job. They are reasonably priced and the work they do is perfection The environment and salon is spacious and inviting . They have the best customers as well. It is always fun when I get my hair done. It is the friendliest salon I have ever been to. If your looking for a salon trust me go to Styles International you will never regret it .

After having my hair turned into an absolute disastrous mess by another salon a few years ago (they dyed it permanently red when I asked for dark brown, tried everything and spent so much time and money to remove the color out but it wouldnt come out), I was extremely reluctant to try a new salon and it was really difficult for me to find a hairdresser that I could trust. I eventually just got so sick of looking at my disgustingly colored hair one day that I just showed up to the first salon I drove past hoping to get my hair fixed once and for all and I’m so thankful that it was this salon. I’ve been here to get my hair cut and colored a couple times now, and I could not be happier with the results, especially for the price. I always make my appointments with Chloe and will continue to because of how happy I always am after she finishes. The rest of the staff are always extremely kind and considerate as well and I always see and hear them doing whatever they can to make sure their clients are comfortable and content. The last time I visited this salon was right before everything had to close due to COVID-19, and I was extremely impressed with the precautionary measures the staff took to ensure cleanliness and safety. Aside from handing out masks and wiping down seats and everything else clients touch, I watched one of the staff members clean the front door handle probably about 10 times while I was there. I can’t wait to book another appointment here when salons are able to reopen.
Been to many salons throughout the State as part of my job and by Far Styles International is one the best Salon in the State. Absolutely had the best cut and color experience in a long time. My normal stylist at a different salon bailed on me last minute and I was in desperate need of a quick blowout. I called Styles and they told me to come right in. The salon is really beautiful and clean on the inside and the stylists are the sweetest! I have very curly mixed hair and they handled it like pros. I was in and out in a little under an hour! The best part, I paid at least $30 less then at my usual hair salon and the quality was just the same. Great experience and definitely will be making another appointment.
I have been going here since I was 8. My mom brought me and have never gone anywhere else. The entire team at Styles always do a wonderful job on my hair. They are all so very personal and take great attention to detail. They have always listened to my needs and always delivered. I highly recommend going here.
I got a spa manicure and pedicure. There is only one person on the premises to do manicures and pedicures so each appointment is scheduled in 1/2 hour & hour intervals. She was very attentive. The massage to my legs, feet & hands was very relaxing!!! She did an excellent job making my feet look beautiful and feel soft! I used a Groupon but I would return on my own.
Styles is a great place for everyone in the family. They take time & pride in the services they provide. Relax & enjoy your time there while they work their magic on you. You will come out with a smile on your face.
I went into this salon and was greeted by the rudest woman I have ever met. She pretty much kicked us out of the salon because the nail artist was done for the day. I refunded my purchase and never returned. If you want a good experience or good customer service DO NOT visit this place. They do not care about you and put no effort into customer service.
It was my second time at the salon. The first time went well, a nice lady who had cut my hair + blow dry. A good haircut. I made another appointment for last week. I wasnt in the system anymore. Could happen, not a big deal. This time, another lady cut my hair. It was all fine except for the fact that she blow dried my hair too hot, therefor my hair got burned (was easy to smell), she dropped the hair brush on me without making any apologies and I didnt get to see the back of my hair after shed finished :( I did make another appointment since I have a hard time finding a good hairdresser but because of my experience, I wanted to cancel it. The lady at the reception was again very kind and asked if I wanted to reschedule my appointment, I said no thank you, she hung up directly after that, there was no time for me to say bye or have a good day. I was disappointed why she didnt ask why I didnt want to reschedule, so itll be helpful for them, they couldve persuaded me to visit again and I wouldnt have to write this down now... My search for another hairdresser continues :)

Not happy at all. The ladies are nice and charming; they will talk you into spending more, but the work is not worth the money you pay. I feel bamboozled and its my fault for staying in the chair instead of asking that they respectfully just stop.
Excellent Place to get your hair done. I work long hours and this is a great place for those taking the train. I work in the city and when I get off the train around 8pm I head over and the crew at Styles always gets me in. Thanks Guys ! Nice place! I had a coupon from Groupon for a Haircut. I was happy with it for the most part. The problem was I said not to cut it too short but he did anyhow. The cut was nice after it grew out a little. Its just frustrated me that he didnt acknowledge what I wanted.
I was weary about going in to use my Groupon after reading reviews, but had a great experience. They were very pleasant on the phone, took me right away and Nicole did a fantastic job. Id definitely go back, with or without a groupon.

They should be put out of business. I had a picture the stylist cut my hair more than 3 too short. The manager threatened to call the police on me when I said I didnt think I should have to pay. I will not rest until this place is shut down. Do not go there if youre not happy they wont help you they offered me a free blow dry my hair is a half an inch long I dont a blow dry they areIncompetent and rude. Stay away.
Purchased a groupon for two gel manicures, the first of which the manicurist was phenomenal and my gels lasted three weeks without a single chip. My second gel manicure experience was not so pleasant having had a different manicurist. I had to ask to have my nails cut and filed and to have my nails fully buffed following a single swipe across the top which left my nails rugged. When I asked to have the frayed pieces at the tips of my nails removed the manicurist proceeded to file my nails after having already applied a coat of gel. Sides of my nails were not covered with polish and having chipped after a single day, the salon was willing to touch up my manicure. The same manicurist proceeded to repaint over the top of all of my nails for a total of four coats of gels which then again chipped within a week. Very disappointed with my second experience here.
Im still feeling the horrendous effects of this salon 2 months after my visit. My nails were completely ruined by this salon! (See photos for more). They sanded them down so much they flake and I still have to put clear coat on them to keep them from getting worse. I used a Groupon for a enhanced mani pedi. Extremely sub-par service for paying extra. Barely a massage. What makes it better is that my nail polished PEELED off my nails starting 6 hours after my service... Layer by layer! What makes the service worse is they allowed a mother and daughter scream at each other across the whole salon, the whole time--not relaxing whatsoever! IM POSTING THIS TO WARN OTHERS.... Worst salon experience ever. Owner/manger in charge doesnt care about the clients or their experience. I went for a spa mani pedi, a little massage was done for pedicure and thats it. Manicure was a whole other mess, my nails were messed up big time by rebuffing them to remove the wrongly applied gel. And I sit there for the entire afternoon to have a terrible experience. The manager seems to not care about what I say but redeem my voucher anyway. Do not visit this unfriendly salon
I went to this salon in September for a hair cut and the girl who did my bob was sweet. I was going to call them this morning for a color service but wow the negative reviews. Okay forget the negative reviews, what is more alarming is the way this salon responds back to customers! Slander... threats to call the cops or go to court. Calling people mental, and making comments about how their Muslim mom probably made her color her hair back. Calling people liars left and right. Wow.... just wow. Not everyone is going to like you, people will be immature and write reviews thats a given for any business. The fact that you respond back the way you do, honestly I am embarrassed for you. The Best Place For Hair And Nails Ever!
His place has the worse customer service, ridiculous bait and switch tactics and disgusting facilities. The owner has a rash or fleas from the look of the scabs on his arm. The other owner was complaining about throwing up and being very sick while working on customers hair. I was quoted for a touch up and charged double the original quote! They dont have any customer service so I just had to suck it up and they blamed me. I had to hold my purse the whole time since theres no where to put it and the tiny counter space was covered with dust and other peoples hair. People there are trashy. If your looking for purple highlights or white and red ones then look no further.

The staff really are wonderful people.The manager/owner was NOT present on the day I went in for my hair & nails as he claims. He also claims I asked for curls instead of a blow dry which is also false. All of the lies he claims he heard on “footage” on “December 3rd” is funny to me because I was in fact there on December 8th, and everything he said was 100% fabricated.So it looks as though I need to clarify. The conversation the manager/owner claims to have heard would have actually sounded something like: Me in tears, looking in the mirror, tugging at my hair, begging for reassurance that my hair would not look anything like it did after coming out of the rollers, and the stylist (who was lovely by the way, this is purely a matter of paying for a hairstyle I did not want) and another supervisor reassuring me that it would relax before my event 6 hours later.The reason I did not go back and chose to do my hair myself was because I went in wanting a blow out, and ended up with pipe curls after insisting that’s not what I wanted. Would you go back? A 100% guarantee at any other business means you’re guaranteed to be satisfied or your money back. But here I am.I could go on and respond to all of the other lies this man has concocted in his reply to my review, but I would rather just urge you all to read the dozens of 1 star reviews in depth before choosing to come to this salon. The stylist told me my hair would eventually relax and I of course trusted her, waiting 6.5 hours, doing exactly what she told me to do to speed up the process, but it did not look any different AT ALL. I still looked hideous and had to shower and redo my hair myself running extremely behind on my night. My whole day was ruined.I called the salon the next day and was told I’d receive a call back. I waited a week or so and heard nothing back so I called again and was told the same.Today I called for a third time and finally spoke with a manager who I tried to politely explain my situation to, but instead of being helpful he went back and forth with me for about 20 minutes on how it’s not the salon’s fault if my hair didn’t do what it was supposed to do and that it’s also my fault I didn’t call them back that evening...Point in case, I am apparently not getting a refund nor am I ever going back to this salon. 10/10 would NOT recommend.If I could rate zero stars I would.
