Since moving here to Milford from the Cape, we had looked at many places to move to. Rolling Green was by far the nicest. The staff are all very kind and helpful. Starting with with the ladies in the office Then the maintenance guys who have always been there when needed. They’re all very friendly. We have enjoyed living here for the past 4 years.
Current Resident!THINK TWICE BEFORE MOVING HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH!!!Ive only been here a little over 3 months and there were issues to begin with when we first moved; The outlets in the living room were not workingThe shower head popped out from the wall on its ownThe walls are super thinThe stove stopped workingALWAYS cold in the entire apartment regardless of how much heat you have runningPoor management and response or work done with maintenanceAlso if your neighbors smoke inside the apartments your apartment will smell like an ash tray or whatever they smoke (the construction and materials used are evidently very poor quality and cheap)I am writing this review because I have requested to have my window fixed 3 times. I was told by one of the maintenance guys theyll have a third party come replace the windows. A few days after, another guy from maintenance came and used bleach to clear the molds and mentioned the window guy would be at my apt around 1:30pm to check the windows.. no one showed up, yet 2 weeks after they closed the work order as completed. I raised the issues of how this will impact my health as molds affect ones respiratory organs. The molds are getting worse and doctors have confirmed some of the health issues are due to the molds on the window panesI sent an email and a complaint stating this was a third request and how this issue is impacting my health in a negative way and have not heard anything yet. Please see images attached showing the current condition of the window, the molds, the rotten woods, moisture and yellow stains from the moisture coming from the windows. This is NOT the only issue. The consequences that will be faced after this are bigger! There is always yellow stains due to steam from the shower [I have never experienced this anywhere but Rolling Green Complex; it is normal to have steam while showering hence the reason for the fan but never seen stains.I also have an issue with them painting the bath tubs to cover for the nasty stains as opposed to replacing another since its cost effective for them hence asking tenants to sign documents about paint, I believe related to lead and/cancer.Maintenance dept are the worst; especially with taking care of issues and poor snow removal. Most apartment complexes will clear certain places and have tenants move their cars and clear where they park and so on but not here. Its a shame of how management runs this place (I heard its a new management). Lack of professionalism or care of the tenants. Think twice before moving here, yes its spacious but thats about it....**PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS IS 4 DAYS AFTER CONSTANTLY CLEANING THE WINDOW AND GOT FED UP AS THAT IS NOT MY JOB****
We moved here because is was a non-smoking facility and yet people smoke all the time. There is also trash all over the place. There seems to be a lot turnover which is one of the reasons we have decided to leave after only one year.
Just for all those who are looking at the reviews just so you know theres 31 one Stars REVIEWS, one five star REVIEW and one four star REVIEW which if Im doing my math correctly here that gives them a total of 40 stars out of a possible 165 stars out of 33 reviews that are posted. That really gives them a 1.25 * RATING NOT A 2.6 * RATINGprices here are way too expensive they used to have all utilities included now they dont and youre paying almost two grand for an apartment when I was living here is 1785 and that included pet rent for my dog and all utilities I would not recommend any of my friends to move here and I recommend to everybody out there dont bother moving here
My girlfriend and I were interested in living in rolling green. There are many bad reviews about management and other things such as snow removal, tenants car being towed without any notice and even one review stating there were roaches in their apartment. We still filed an application and put down a $250 deposit to hold a townhouse for us. Even with all these bad signs we were still gung-ho on moving there. One of the biggest reasons was because heat was included in the rent. They advertise as heat being included but what they don’t say is that their heat is electric heat and the tenant is responsible for their own electric bill. We called to confirm that heat was electric and that is when they finally came clean and said that heat is in fact paid by the tenant. This place just seems shady and their management company needs to learn some common decency and stop lying on their advertisements. The whole reason we were moving is because our current apartment is all electric and our bill was over $500 for the months of December, January and February. Before wasting your time and money make sure you grill their management about what is and what is not included in your rent. Bring up some he fact that heat is electric and therefore paid by the tenant as part of their electric bill. Don’t be fooled by the nice pictures and moderate rent prices.
I heard bad things but gave it a try anyways. In the year we lived here, we had water leak through our ceiling twice. When we moved out, our balance was $0. We were then charged an additional $60 that was “system generated” and supposed to be adjusted back to $0, per Rolling Green. Instead? it was sent to collections. I sent in the dispute over a month ago and there is no update.I would not recommend renting here.
My husband and I just moved into our new appartment and we are so happy. Tracey the leasing consultant was very patient, kind, informative and accommodating throughout our whole application process. We ended up applying very last minuet, despite this, Tracey was able to get our application through fast was constantly keeping us updated. I am so grateful for her and everyone else in the office who helped us! Based on my experience, I would highly recommend Rolling Green :)
We lived here for two years and would continue to stay except for the aftermath of a fire in our building (no fault of Rolling Green) which pushed us to buy a place of our own.We found maintenance to be prompt. Emergencies were dealt with immediately and everyday maintenance was dealt with promptly. They fixed a leak we had which was rather severe. It took time to find it, but they kept at it until they did. And we were reimbursed for all the damaged items.Calene and the front office were helpful from the time we moved in. After the fire, Calene went out of her way to help us figure out what we were going to do. We ended up living in another unit at Rolling Green which worked well. Calene was as forthcoming with information as she could be.I would recommend Rolling Green to anyone. We looked at a number of other places. They either didnt take dogs, were so tiny our furniture would not fit, they were poorly laid out, or the rent was ridiculous. Rolling Green has decent living for a decent price. We found it to be quiet, convenient, and a nice place to live.Thank you all at Rolling Green for a great living experience.
The apartment is good spacious and clean. But the common area(laundry room, hall way) is dirty and stinking in the place that we live in, but the model house that we saw and signed the leases was very clean and smelt nicer too! The management has promised to work on it and I hope they do! Its been just a week since we moved in and we love it so far :)
Absolutely terrible. This place is so old and miserable it deserves to be torn down.-My apartment did not have a single location in the floor which didnt creek.-You can smell what every one is cooking, and every pet odor in the building.-Cleaning wont get rid of the musty old smell in the air.-There is no privacy since a lot of apartments look directly into other peoples apartments.-Driving instructors use this complex as a teaching playground, expect 1-2 driving students learning to parallel park with your car every day.-Incredibly inconvenient package delivery options - UPS will never leave packages at the office (theyre closed when the driver arrives), and theres no where else for them to go, plan to be home for your package or itll be sent back.-Laundry is a cut-throat mission, if your a couple minutes late to pick up your laundry, your neighbors will throw your clothes on the ground. (Theres no where near enough machines for everyone, especially on weekends)-This complex claims to be smoke-free, it isnt.-The tap water tastes rather contaminated, most likely due to the old plumbing.-After my year lease, they decided to hike my rent by $215/mo. This is when I moved into a brand new luxury apartment complex not too far away, for the same price.Do yourself a favor, stay away from this place. To be fair, the people working the office are very nice and try to help as much as they can, but these apartments are dismal at best.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The people who work in the office are great and extremely helpful. The management of the complex on the other hand, I would nominate as the worst in Mass. For what you have to pay to live here, it is the worst value for money. Garbage and dog poop everywhere. Need to get an appliance replaced and it has taken about a month and still hasnt been delivered. Would never support this management company. They wont care at all about you.
This place is a mess. As friendly advice, do not rent at this place unless you are desperate. They have an awful property management person. They have no respect for their residents at all. The only thing they care about is money. If you are late on rent even for a few days, they will send your information to the court, and then you have to pay the court fees. They towed my car on Mothers day without notice and made me pay $150 just for not updating the sticker on time, even that I had their old sticker. Shame on them. I never received a written letter stating that if I do not change the parking ticket that they will tow my car. Also, they do not do a good job with maintenance at all.
Great staff that are always helpful. Thank you Calene & Tina.
Dont come live here. Ethan Brown, the Property Manager, is a joke of a person. There is no way to contact him to discuss anything important. No messages or complaints find their way to anyone that will actually solve anything. They switched owners recently, mentioning it to the residents as of yesterday evening. I would like to note that it is the end of the month and rent is due. A few days ago the online site we used to be able to pay through was disabled, as it was the previous owner group. Today, the very last day of the month, they mention we will have to pay by check instead. I contacted the office and asked if there was any flexibility because of this news, I was told there wasnt. I ended up having to have someone else pay my rent for me while I was out of state on business. Stay away from this place unless you want to be frustrated with a lack of professionalism and respect. They also raised rent last year and didnt notify me until I only had 3 days to choose to renew or not. I had no other options at the moment, so I ended up renewing for a $150 dollar a month increase in rent.Stay away from Rolling Green in Milford.
Current resident cannot wait to leave. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Ive paid my rent every month on time and yet my wife and I have had multiple issues with management not respecting our privacy or safety. We have requested that no one be permitted into our apartment without us being there, and yet anytime we put in a maintenance request this is ignored. Phone calls are never returned, they do whatever they please with zero respect and consideration for their residents. I ask you, would you want complete strangers in your home? Without you being there? Completely unsupervised? Would you want to come home to one of those strangers being in your apartment? Would you want your home to be left unsecured? Would you want your pets that dont take kindly to strangers to be scared or let out? Would you want to live in a community where management of that community completely disregards the safety of their residents, and staff? How about being embarrassed by having personal and private items (financial documents, clothes, belongings) that normally would not be on display, out in the open because you thought your home was private and safe? What would you do if you came home and realized somebody had gone through your things? Even if they had to, to do a job? Do you think the maintenance staff is safe if they are in somebodys home when that resident returns unaware that there is a stranger in their home? All I can say is every interaction I have had with the maintenance staff has been positive and every interaction I have had with management has been negative. I just believe in the right to privacy and safety. By not informing residence and giving them the rightful option of being home puts the resident and the staff in grave danger. I understand maintenance staff are here to do a job that does not mean I need to trust strangers in my home. If you want to protect yourself, your family, your belongings, and value your privacy and safety, DO NOT LIVE HERE. At least until there are changes in the way management conducts itself, or with changes in management altogether.
This place needs a lot of help. Its seems all they care about is renting and fixing apartments once people move out. They dont care about the people who are living there. Almost 1600 for a 1 bedroom is crazy i can spend that close to Boston for a better place. You try and call maintenance and nobody comes for almost 3 days. The new plow company they have plows the lots drunk. All they care about is saving and making money and not keeping tenets good luck to them
The hole time its amazing especially tracyShes very professional and al
My husband and I have lived here 3 years and we love it! The staff are lovely and we have the best neighbors!!
I was going to move there as my sister lives in the complex. That was until I had to deal with the leasing manager Calene! She was very rude and was not helpfull at all. Instead I move to the Legacy Place in Hopkinton. Which are a lot nicer than the apartaments at Rolling Green. What made me chose the Legacy Place apartments was how nice and helpfull was the staff there! Is like heaven and hell when comparing the two. Calene needs to learn to be nicer as she is in a service position. Never have I deal with someone like her.
If you are uneducated, noisy and have had experience living in a low income neighborhood it will be okay with you. The noise level is untenable. If you make complaints nothing happens and if you are unfortunate enough then after complaints will get physical threats by the obnoxious pesticides that infest these apartments. Do not spend 18K for one bedroom on this section-8 enclave. Pay little extra and move to the apartments near Shrewsbury or Westboro. You will have your peace of mind and a civilized neighborhood.
This place is terrible. We have had so many issues since we moved in last June, my dog was attacked on property and the office said they weren’t responsible, the companies they hire to plow does a terrible job, they try to tow your car in the middle of the night for false accusations of not having the “correct” parking sticker, they kept losing our new lease so we have so far signed 3 lease documents for this years lease, it’s ridiculous, just so many terrible things. Please for your sanity DONT LIVE HERE!!!
Very pleased with the place, very good administration, Mrs. Anne was very professional and helpful. (services1jh@..)
The property manager Calene Rhames is very nasty. She has no respect for her tenants at all. She towed my wifes car on Mothers day without a written notice; even she still has the sticker from their office. Please stay away from this nasty place.
The management is extremely rude and they profile you the moment you walk in the door.
It is a very quiet place, in a good atmosphere of coexistence, and coordination
