Disappointed to say the least.I came in asking about Hitch….. was told you have to have an appointment and we’re already booked for today. Then she looked up my vehicle info and said we don’t have your hitch it’s and it’s a two week wait with no guarantee…..all of this is totally understandable…. But she was rude and nasty about it. It’s not what you say but how you say it. On a plus she said if you really need one you can try J and I hitch. I did and they were great. Now I have a place to go that is better on customer service. Didn’t get her name but it was a female with long brownish hair. She needs help with her people skills.
U-Box is an inherently bureaucratic and painful system. You are only receiving a 5-star review from me for one reason and the reason has a name: Kelly. Every time I called the central U-Box phone number or number for this facility I got the run around until someone finally told me the person who can do that for you is not here right now. Then all I had to do was talk to Kelly and she got my move straightened out in short order. I worked with her for a few days because she dropped off my U-Boxes, picked them up, arranged for my weight tickets in the local area, helped me secure an extra U-Box when on packing day I found I was one box short. She is the ideal employee, she: communicates perfectly, works hard, and fully understands what it means to make it happen.
Terrible customer service. Had an appointment at 7am to have class 3 hitch installed. Got a phone call saying they double booked and rescheduled for 10 arrived at 940. Sat in the lobby until 1025 when one of the guys came out to tell me they don’t know where the hitch is. Completely unacceptable and will never return to a Uhaul again. You wasted half of my day.On a side note, if you want to know why it was taking so long to get any customer service up front, 6 of the employees were in the shop playing hacki sack and throwing things at each other. Security cameras can be good, but for the CCTV screen to be in public view really shows how they care about customers.
