Horrible customer service. Ordered a part, called to see if part was ready for pick up. Women who answered the phone could not have been more rude and condesending the entire conversation. She couldnt help answer when part would arrive. I asked to speak with the brother I ordered from and her response was no. Canceled order and will not be giving them my business. Wastach Pehrsons power equipment (also in Midvale) got me what I needed and had great customer service.
Customer service is just amazing... I visited most a few business just like the one looking for the part i need it, and he went above and beyond to make sure i got the part i need.... He deserves a 10 star rating with no doubt....
Just bought a mower from this family owned business. Their friendly help, expertise and attention to detail was phenomenal. They showed me how to use and maintain my new mower. They now have a lifetime customer in me.
I had problems with my lawnmower and my Weedwhacker I called them to ask for some advice to see if it was a simple part replacement this guy gave me the time of day unlike the place I called firsthand that usually pops up when you google lawnmower repair in my area which is west Jordan definitely will recommend
The staff at Jordan Mower were very accommodating. Not only were their prices competitive, but their service was above and beyond. Thank you for taking care of my needs in a timely manner.
These folks give great customer service. They have a great selection of outdoor tools as well as mowers and blowers and things
Not sure who the lady is that answers the phone when I call but 8/10 times when I call she is incredibly rude to me. If im asking for parts or asking a question and she cant help me she will just cut me off and say nope or cant help instead of letting me finish my question
Ok folks forget about big box stores when it comes to power products and customer services, you should experience what Jordan mower can do for you, if you want the right power equipment for the job this company takes the time for you with the right solution! I purchased a tiller they had it in stock while others didn’t they show you how to operate the equipment, put gas and oil in the engine, set up and unboxed and have it ready for use, even register the warranty paperwork equipment in your name with the factory, you will never get this from the big box store they provide service and warranty the equipment when needed, 10 stars for this company, if you want to win then make the right choice on your next power equipment and purchase with this company!
Family owned and operated. Very helpful. Purchased lots of Stihl equipment here and have had many repairs done as well.
Quick friendly service always in a good mood
They sure know their business. Owner operator! Get in early to avoid the rush....
They are very nice and helpful. They sell my favorite brands. They will actually take the time to get to know you. Im 13 years old and theyve always treated me like a business owner.
Very impressed. Took in a tiller that had been sitting for 10 years, part of the time out in weather (I inherited). They were able to fix for $150 and it runs great. Very fair prices on parts. Definitely recommend.
Absolute best place around to get your mower worked on!
Just had a great experience with Jordan Mower and wanted to express my thanks to Tyler. He went above and beyond to find an edged blade for mine that is probably 20 years old. He took my old blade on a Saturday right before they closed and took it over to a distributor and found the exact one I needed. I hadnt been able to find it anywhere online. He called me today and I have picked it up. Customer service goes a long way and he made me a customer for life.
Great people it was a pleasure going there they went out of there way to get me parts
Jordan Mowers was one of three vendors in the state that had a very specific product. They were the ones willing to help us out when we were in a bind- Brody was awesome to work with !! He was helpful and willing to put in the work and go the extra mile. He was accommodating and put our needs first! Thanks Brody and Jordan Mowers👍🏻
Loved this place. Wont go anywhere else. Knew what i needed and why i needed it. I was impressed with the service. I asked to buy some spare parts just to have on hand and was told why it was unnecessary, instead of just making a sale.
I own a SHINDAIWA T230 TRIMMER. One day I decided to start it, but the engine would not start. After several days of trying to start my trimmer, I took it to Jordan Mower. When I picked it up they said nothing was wrong with the trimmer. They told me I had flooded the engine and that was why it would not start. I paid them $75.00 for the information. The next several days the engine would not start. I then had my son-in-law try to start the trimmer, without success. The trimmer then sat in my garage unused for several years. Last week I decided to sell the trimmer. The fellow who came could not start it. He looked it over and found a tiny split in the 1/8 fuel line. I called Jordan Mower about it but the lady I talked to said bring it in and for $40 we will look at it. I then ordered a fuel line from the internet. When the fuel line arrived I replaced the damaged one. Guess what !! The engine started, and ran just like it was new. Sorry Jordan Mower, but you blew it with me.
Great place to get small engine motors working again. They took my 30 year old Toro and made it run perfectly again. Thanks Jeff..
I have been a customer with this store for about 10 years because I am a huge fan of Stihl and Honda. Here are my take-always:Pros: The store has everything you need to repair or service your needs. They seem to know their stuff and can fix it. That is why I give it 1 star.Cons: There is absolutely no concept of customer service. Everything is cold and direct with a “take it or leave it attitude”. I don’t know 100% if this is a family run business but I suspect it is. Routinely and predictably they are all the same with respect to professional courtesy. They will give you at most 2 sentences of courtesy and it goes down hill from there. I have come to this store for about 12-15 times and spent about 2000$ there for products or service. Only twice did I leave without a negative experience. My most recent experience had to involve being double billed for a part that I literally just bought from them and when i could not start my Unit, I had them service it only to find they charged the same item (spark plug) for something I literally just bought the day before. In the end this got rectified but coupled with my other negative experiences i find it very hard to want to return my business there. I go to them continuously because they are so close to my home.I rarely EVER write a bad review about any store since I don’t believe in being a spiteful person. This review is not to spite nor harm- just to inform. It is difficult for me personally to post this message because I don’t want them to go out of business but they will lose my business. Perhaps they will change and I certainly hope so for future customers.I am still a huge fan of their products however.
Friendly. Great selection of high quality yard care goods. I got my Stihl chainsaw there. It has been fantastic. They are very knowledgeable about their product. Definitely not a big box experience.
These guys are the best! I needed a small part for an Echo line trimmer, although they didnt have the part in stock, one of the guys searched through some misc. used parts found exactly what I needed and HOOKED me up! I use them regularly and will continue to do so.
Only been doing business with them for a short time but they treat me like Im a long time customer.
Top quality group of people. They have taken care of my dad, myself and my sons for 30 years. I will never go anywhere else. 5+ stars!!!
The repair work that they do is top notch but the counter help shows all of the same kind of enthusiasm as death row inmates.
I have been using Jordan Mower for several years for repair and service on my mower, snow blower and chain saw. I have found their repair work and service to be excellent. Yesterday I met with Brody who did an amazing job in getting my chainsaw back up and running. Amazing people who do excellent work.
Great customer service. Fair prices..
Not very up front or easy to work with. They dont seem to have consistent business practices or pricing, so you get a different answer with everyone you talk to. It took a phone call and two separate visits to the store just to understand what they needed from me to get a tire.I was also quoted a one price for labor and ended up being charged nearly 4 times the amount quoted, with no communication. As much as I want to support local, I could have bought what I needed online for less than half the cost and received equal, if not better customer service.
These guys are awesome. They took care of my chainsaw in no time flat so that I could continue working. Id recommend them to anyone.
Good stock and dependable service.
In todays world I honestly cannot see how these guys are still in business.?? Complete indifference to me when I walked in, and I really only had a simple question. I would drive a long way before I would go back there.
Great people. Really A knowledgeable about their products. I found my part I need at a reasonable price
Needed parts to repair my old snow blower. They were very helpful. The owner found some used parts that worked great and saved me a lot of money.
High prices and low customer service. The young idiots at the counter are unprofessional and condescending.Every time Ive been in there I have left in a foul mood. These guys are the worst.
I’ve been going to Jordan Mower for all of my power equipment for 15 years. I no longer live near the store but I still drive past several repair/sales shops to have my equipment repaired or to purchase new machines or parts. Small family owned shop with great honest service and the technicians are extremely knowledgeable with all makes and models. Their lineup of Stihl and Honda is the best in the industry! Highly recommend over and over to anybody I know.
Terrible service at the front desk. They treat you as if you are an interruption and if you call them theyll find the fastest way to tell you they cant help you them hang up on you. Theyve lost what probably amounts to $10k in business over the next year from me.
Great local company to support! We always come here first to get what we need. Quinn went out of his way to get me the part I needed when they didnt have it in stock. I highly recommend them.
Absolutely horrible to work with. Prices are WAY! high. These guys are just terrible. Insulting and rude.I would suggest that the owners fire there extremely rude children.
We purchased a Stihl chainsaw. Before we paid for it they gave us a demonstration and tips on safety. I was impressed with their knowledge of the product and their desire for the customer safety. No pressure and lots of support. I would recommend Jordan Mower to anyone. The price was an added bonus!
I took my nearly new Honda snowblower to Jordan Mower. The cocky young man behind the counter diagnosed the problem without moving an inch. He also explained why Honda warranties do not cover anything. I know that it was cold outside but I was parked just outside the door. He could have looked at my HS720 AM while cutting back on his arrogance. Frustrated, I drove home and ask my mechanic neighbor what he thought. He diagnosed a belt problem which was the case after we removed the cover. He suggested that the brake jammed the belt. The young man was right when he said that these blowers wear out belts quickly. He also quoted a price of $26 for the belt without tax. I went to a different Honda dealer and bought a Honda belt for $13 with tax. I installed it and it works fine (without brake which I removed). Jordan Mower should work on customer service assuming that repeat customers are a worthy goal.
They were helpful when I needed a new gear for the starter on my riding mower, BUT a short time later when my mower died while mowing, I had to buy a trailer to bring it to JORDON MOWER. when I pulled up the first thing the older man that came up after I got out of my truck said was its too old, cant get parts for It!!!! I told him I thought It might only need something on the carb adjusted or cleaned! he said NO CANT GET PARTS FOR IT and sent me away!!! long story short, I found the new neighbor across the street from me who fixes mowers and stuff. AND all that was needed was an adjustment on the carb controls that had came loose!!!!
They worked really hard to find a discontinued part for me and were able to find it through the engine manufacturer where nobody else could/would help me. Also were super helpful in explaining how I could change out the parts myself. Will go there again.
Long time customer of Jordan Mower, and theyve always be very honest and helpful!
Unfortunately I cant give zero stars. The kids at the front desk are incredibly arrogant and argumentative. Customer service is terrible.RUN!!! away from this place.
Janice is brilliant!!!
I ordered a belt for over 50 dollars, it burned out after one mow. I came back in to see if they could do something for me and two of their techs accused me of bringing in an old belt. They eventually could see that I was genuinely not trying to rip them off and helped me try to find the actual problem with my mower.
Good people working here. Got some stihl parts here.
Good service
I took a lawnmower in to be repaired. It Had a stuck float in the carb, I knew this when I dropped it off, explained with the problem and requested a full tune up and asked for them to sharpen the blade. Was quoted a week. A week went by and was asked for another few days, no problem. Now 2 weeks are here here and they just started tearing it down. NOW they tell me that the carb parts are on backorder. Not sure why they didnt order parts 2 weeks ago. All they want to do is argue and make excuses. Buying a new one isnt much more than what they quoted. Id rather buy a new one than deal with these jokers....Spend your money elsewhere!
Great place. These people know there stuff.
The only place to get your Honda and Stihl products services. Amazing family owned feel with great service.
Got me what I needed for my chain saw
I have had a positive experience every time. friendly great service. and integrity. great location.
If you need parts or repairs this is the place to go
I seriously dont know how this company has been in business as long as they have. For a second time, after I and my father vowed never to set foot in that store again after being treated so rudely. I decided to give them a second chance with a very minor question for a repair. After all it say repair in the name.A Gentleman by the name of DAVE came out while I was with a different counter person, and with out even asking what are you trying to do, he very rudely and exactly said. You will have to that directly to the dealer. We dont even touch those, and then walked off just as rudely as he approached. Never again for this guy, and if you do go in there for something on your lawnmower, Good Luck !!!
Awesome service and friendly staff!
Had everything I needed and added some helpful knowledge.
My 25 year old Snapper lawn mower was obviously past its useful life. I went to Jordan Mower to look at new lawn mowers. Rather than sell me a more expensive new mower they suggested that I bring in my old one and let them see if they could save me money by putting a new engine on the old one. It was determined that it was in good enough shape that a new Honda engine (replacing the B&S engine) would solve our problem. The work was done on time and for the price they quoted me and we have our favorite lawnmower back working like a champ. A year earlier we bought a leaf blower from them. After trying it at home for a half hour we determined that we didnt like the blower after all. They agreed to take it back without question.
They are very helpful, but behind the front desk was a little messy
Walked in was immediately greeted aexactly what I needed price was reasonable I was in and out in about 10 minutes very happy whats go there again
I took in some equipment for repair. The owner gave a verbal quote on parts and labor of approx. $170, with a 1week timeline. When I picked up the equipment 3 weeks later not all the service was completed as promised and the charge was $50 dollars higher than quote.
Terrible service one day they tell me they can fix my lawn mower and pick it up and then they dont pick it up and then they tell me they cant fix the lawn mower I call up Jordan garden there a Toro lawn mower service company but they will fix anybodys lawn mower took it down there they fix my lawn mower very happy that I got my lawnmower fixed at a very very reasonable price so if Jordan tells you they cant fix something definitely taken down the Jordan gardenmatter of fact take all your stuff to them they fix your weed wacker your blower you know your edgers day they do it all lease a place you know when youre going to take it there theyre going to fix it the other place not
I pulled into the shop and an employee looked at me and decided to continued with his conversation so I walked inside another employed didnt even bother to acknowledge me. none of the employees said Ill be with you in a minute, or did you find what your looking 4. And all of the mowers looked quite expensive. The main question would I go back definitely not
I will never go there again. Took my leaf blower in for a fuel leak from the tank and a melted throttle cable they replace the cable after 2 and 1/2 Weeks and rebuilt the carburetor and put a spark plug in it that was not authorized when I asked about it they said well thats what we fixed I said it wasnt broken they didnt care. And charge me for ithe anyway
Their experience and knowledge is what keeps me going back
Had what I needed. Knew their stuff
They do a solid job of repairs and sell great equipment but dont deal with Brody. Have dealt with him a few times and the only thing that out does his rudenes is his arrogance. Have had a few friends report the same thing.
Good for getting your parts and new equipment for summer and winter
All of these reviews are not accurate and I believe that an experience is reciprocal. I will hands down recommend this business to anyone moving forward - 2 totally great experiences.
My go to for Stihl service.
Always friendly and have the right part in stock.
Great customer service friendly
Great place. The people know everything
Large selection of stihl products. Did full service on our blower at no charge for accidentally giving us the wrong one. Not to shabby
Never a problem, Brody and Super Dave, treat me better than alot of other places. And being black in Utah is constantly challenging.
Horrible customer service. Will never shop here again. They talk down to you and treat you like youre a moron and an inconvience. Go to Speeds in south salt lake. Totally different experience.
The only reason I am giving them 4 stars, instead of 5, is because they did not call to give me updates on the status of my repair (Stihl Kombi system). I called ahead to get an estimate of when the repair would be done, they told me 7 days, however when I dropped it off they told me 10 days. No big deal considering the competitors were 4-5 weeks out.I had to call to see what the status was at the 10 day mark, and the ignition coil had gone out, so they had to order the part, but theyd call me when it was done. Another week went by and I still had not heard from them. I called again, and they had just implemented new software which made them lose my order and thus the added delay, though they were apologetic that they werent able to call to provide updates (difficult to do when theres 60-70 other units waiting for repair as well). However, despite not buying my unit from them, they still went over and above my expectation by covering it under warranty and I did not have to pay a dime for the repair.Great Stihl dealer that backs up what they say!
Great shop. Very knowledgeable.
Best mower shop in town....
Mediocre service, and they inflate their prices over the recommended retail.
I went in here looking for some advise about how to hook up a carburetor linkage and got a free part with instructions about how to place it on my tiller. That is what I call customer service!
Worst attitude ever, terrible customer service. Old man at the counter cant even look you in the eyes.
Expensive parts! I was just down the street from a job I had and thought I would get a bolt for my mower for 1-2 bucks, but they thought they needed to charge 4.00 for it. I wont buy from these guys again for the outrageous prices.
Great service!
Get me the right parts the first time
Sad to say, Ive been doing business for over twenty years with Jordan Mower and was just accused of stealing two gas caps off their saws the last time we were in. Im disappointed and offended and will not do business here again.
Staff isnt very friendly.
Great service
Great service
Always rad
They know what they are very helpful and they know what they are doing.
You can find new and used machines and they also have a repair shop
