Id have given 5 stars, but their lobby is closed & everything should be open.But other than that they were friendly, fast & clean. Very good at their jobs.

Unfortunately this is no longer the Avis we all grew to love for its attentive staff and speedy service. It’s now under Valvoline management, which it’s pretty much the opposite of what Avis was. Long waits and careless staff.

While the staff is generally very quick about servicing your vehicle, sometimes they forget things. Ive paid for a vehicle inspection and when it came time to renew they apparently had forgotten to do the inspection. When I showed up to ask about it, they gave me a new inspection for the day without actually doing an inspection. A couple years ago, I noticed my CDs was different than the one I had in when I got my oil changed. One of the technicians took my CD out, put in a new one, and took the CD into the service bay to keep I guess.

There was no organization, workers where walking around, and where also eating popsicles while staring at the vehicles with no clue of what they should be doing, made me think I was on a hidden camera show for second and was being pranked. I had to wait at least an hour for an inspection sticker that only took about two minutes would not recommend.

I haven’t had an issue in the past but today I pulled up for just a state inspection and waited 1hr 45min! I pulled into the shortest (at the time) bay line. As other bays started going quicker, more people were pulling in and didn’t even have the decency to let me try to pull into a different bay line. You would think an attendant would be keeping track of which vehicles pulled in and when so that the ones waiting the longest could pull forward, but not one attendant! . One car only waited 30 minutes and I WAS STILL WAITING 2 cars behind for a bay and at this point for an hour and 45 minutes. I tried calling but the phones were down for some reason. I know you can do better!!! This was ridiculous. Finally, since I had another appt I needed to leave. If you really cared about customer service, you would do better or at least do SOMETHING!

Went for a state inspection and #1 had to wait for 1 1/2 hours and there were two state inspections infront of me (so I can see them working) i pull up for my turn and 3 different guys do my state inspection and one of them fails me because my windows are too dark but yet both vehicles that were infront of me had darker tint then me and they passed! And no too mention I saw two techs that work there pull up with 5% window on there personal vehicles. Terrible company. But yall could care less

They do a great job. But like everywhere else in Midland you have at least a 2 hour wait. You can drop your vehicle off then come back. That’s what I suggest.

So very sad its not Avis lube owned by Kent Kwick anymore. No vacuuming no windows wiped no drinks no tv no paper no wifi no fish tank. Blah 😔 but wait, now with higher prices! Service techs where friendly and helpful with advice though. Line moved quicker than expected.

Valvoline bought out Kent lube but I got good service and good price just like I did when it was Kent.

I was greeted by a very polite man who explained the entire process to me (my first time there). The person who took the payment was also incredibly nice. Tuesday is womans day. So you get 10% off and a free rose if you want it. Loved the free soda or coffee. It wasnt Starbucks but it was drinkable. I will make this my to go place for oil changes and state inspections. Highly recommend

These guys have to be the slowest crews I have ever seen. They go round and round and never get anything done. 45 minutes for a crew to do an oil change?

Used Avis Lube for my state inspection yesterday, and I could not have been happier with the service. The manager was friendly and professional. They have a nice waiting area. And, they got me out quickly. Ill be using them again in the future.

Fast and friendly service. I only went to get my truck inspected, but judging from the line of cars waiting to be serviced, they must be a respectable shop. The bays were quite clean compared to other shops Ive been to and everyone had an upbeat attitude. I will go back for the oil change to see how they do.

Staying in the car while getting the change done was new. Seemed to be training a lot of new folks but overall good experience.

The service was outstanding an very affordable will continue using them while I am in area for work 🌟

Great service & help

We only use Avis Lube to get the oil changed in our vehicle and any other items that they can change underneath the hood. I bring all my vehicles here also to get the inspections done yearly plus my motorcycle. The staff is very friendly and helpful and it is a nice atmosphere and kid friendly with drinks while you wait on your vehicle. They do have the same problems as everyone else with staff since they can’t hire enough employees due to the oilfield jobs out here. Please be patient with the staff since they are probably working harder than necessary.

Excellent customer service! They didnt have my oil filter in stock but took it upon themselves to find one in town. Called multiple auto part stores. They took care of my car and offered considerable discount for my troubles and wait. Will definitely be going back there routinely.

This location is very fast with oil changes even when there is a good amount of cars in front of you. The inside is kept very clean and they provide refreshments while you wait. Every employee I have encountered while there is very polite and helpful.

1 hour and a half for a state inspection sticker. Only to have the receptionist not look at me or address me. She would only look at and speak to my mother. My 80yr mother that doesnt understand English. Im 32 u can talk to me. Mom just likes tagging along while I run errands Im the customer. So insulting.

Good job on my car but the wait time was about 45 minutes. Nice that they had TVs and free sodas and coffee. Friendly people and helpful.

State inspection on two vehicles, in and out right away.

Took 2.5+ hours to get a single state vehicle inspection. Won’t come here again and I suggest you don’t either.

They cleaned all our dirty windows spotless, vacuumed the inside of our car, and also installed wiper fluid which we did not have. Thank y’all so much!!

Will never use this place again the guy that vac my car stole my class ring and some money I had in the cup holder I confronted the guy and he denied everything I asked him to empty his pockets and walk away try to talk to the manager and there was no manager he was getting something to eat don’t care bout the money just want my ring back so think twice before you let them vacum your car I know some people be like why u leave you ring there and money well first it’s my personal car and 2nd they need to ask if they can vacum ur car before start digging through your vehicle I hope west Robinson sees this review

Update:Chris MIT for the last seven months just charged me an extra $20 for 7.2 L of oil. I asked how do you know the vehicle needed that much oil and its not overfull? He said it was because the specs for the vehicle require that much oil. Internet says all XC90s are 5.5 L engines or less. I was also charged an extra $12 for an oil filter, because oil filters are not included in oil changes now? No no no sorry you just lost my business.Previous review 2 years ago: Ive been for three inspections. The first one, power steering leak...what? Just had the car in to two shops for front suspension checks. Ok, stop leak fluid, next! The second shop, we dont have an incline but we checked your parking brake and its bad. Wait what huh? I have an older vehicle but am religious about repairs. Having never noticed a problem with the parking brake, I came for a third inspection. They have an incline, they knew what they were doing, the guy even had suggestions about renewing my license. Thank you AvisLube for your friendly, competent help! Took about an hour.

Went for a vehicle inspection. They asked if I would want an oil change also. I told them to go ahead and add it. 2 hours later they only did the oil change & forgot the inspection. When I reminded them of the inspection, they told me I would have to go back to the end of the line for another 2 hours. Life it to short to deal with this place. Go somewhere else.
