Went in for a pedicure and, the gentleman that did me took the shellac off my toes with a nail file rather than the machine. He filed off skin and every toe was bleeding. I’ve also noticed bruises underneath my nails because he filed so hard. None of the employees seemed to care that I was bleeding, and I was still charged full price. I hate leaving negative reviews but it was very disappointed, and my toes still hurt hours later.

The only place I go! I love walking in and everyone greets me and immediately assists me. I have been serviced at least once by each employee and they all exceed my expectations. I highly recommend Avalon Nails!

I went in for a fill for me and my daughter and had my nieces just painted with regular polish, I also had mine reshaped from square to coffin. For 2 fills it was $100. On top of that, mine were sideways coffins, so crooked I couldn’t even fix the myself. The sides were jagged I had to file them all down. Bumps all over and a huge air bubble that of course popped and peeled off the polish. If I was on my own I would have made them redo my nails but I had my niece and daughter who wouldn’t have sat through it. I went to gala and the guy redid the and straightened them out and even commented on the horrible job they lady did.

My first time coming here was two years ago to have them fix the work of another salon. Lee made sure I left with nails exactly how I wanted them. I would definitely recommend coming here and will be returning each time I have nail needs. 🖤

Worst manicure Ive ever had. First, the girl ripped off my acrylic set rather soaking them, which of course hurt a lot. Then preceded to put new acrylic on top of my nails without buffing them or anything. She didnt treat my cuticles at all and didnt bother even pushing the cuticles back. She didnt have me wash my hands after she buffed the new acrylic, and she didnt even put lotion on my hands. No hand massage either, but they still had the nerve to charge me $45 for the manicure. The pedicure I got by one of the men was half-assed as well. $140 down the drain, but my mother got treated very well, so she got her $65 worth. I guess they thought she was the one paying, rather than me paying for both of us. Ive heard good things about this place, but after my experience, I will never go back.

Its been a little over a week that I came to Avalon nails & spa and my nails still look amazing. I got a full set white & lite pink sparkles ombre and they did more then what I was expecting. Also I got a basic French tip pedi & Ive been getting so many compliments on both. Avalon is definitely my #1 nail spot to go. They are very clean and super nice. Lee, his wife & niece are amazing. Never had a problem. sometimes other peoples reviews I read makes me think they are fault finders. Love this place! They wear masks too.

I got my nails done here and the guy was rough with my hands, he wasn’t being careful and he made me bleed on 3 of my fingers. My nails aren’t smooth, they have small bumps on top and the sides are rough. He didn’t take the time to clean out the nail from the bottom. The reason I didn’t gave them a 1 star is because my cousin was right next to me and the lady did them perfectly on Her. It just depends on who does your nails. I can’t remember the name of the guy but his name started with a “T”

Ive been going here for 2 years now and love the staff! I have never walked out of there disappointed, finally after going to a few other places since i moved here. Tim is the greatest for pedicures, the leg massages especially! He treats you well & never hurries you out! Thank you Avalon!

I never write reviews but this nail salon is so amazing I had to. Ive been to many nail salons and this is honestly the best one I have ever been to. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and it was so clean and beautiful inside. I decided to get red coffin nails for the holiday and I was a little nervous because the previous salons that Ive gone to dont seem to do the coffin shape right, but my guy did. I absolutely love my nails and the shape and he even put the rhinestones on. I definitely recommend this place!!!!

Great staff. Eyelashes, brow wax, nails, with art. $118. Nail technician was great, trimmed cuticles and filed nails without burning or cutting skin around nail. This place is 45 minutes from my house but I will happily return.

First time getting a pedicure due to ingrown toenails.......WELL WORTH IT! Trinh did an amazing job! I was expecting it to be a painful experience because when I tried to fix ingrown nails it was excruciating,but Trinh worked em out with very little pain....she is very good,and it was a clean, relaxing and very comfortable experience.i will now go regularly as it was only 25.00 w/well deserved 10.00 tip

Been going here a over year and loved it til they wanna charge for stuff they havent charged for before...... $5.00 shellac removal $20.00 more to put it back on time to find a new place

Went in today to remove my nails I had done there previously and get a new set the lady that greeted me sat me down (I usually go with the guy at the entrance )and she started taking my nails off very roughly she made my thumb bleed my friend came in and they sat her very quickly with another lady in the back and a few minutes later a lady walked in they sat her next to me and my nail lady stopped working on my nails automatically got up and assisted the lady next to me I took off the last 3 nails because she was hurting me so much she literally just left me there because “this lady had an appointment “ wich is understandable but she shouldn’t have started on me if she had a scheduled appointment I could’ve waited for the next available person so i politely asked her how much she charged to take off my nails and she tells me $10 I said well I took off 3 myself and she said ok $7 I paid her wich I don’t think I should have and walked out! So unprofessional & rude!

A few days after getting a pedi my feet were rough again, about a week after the polish started to chip. (The polish was very old and uneven as well) I called and asked if they could fix it. Oh yes, just come in and well take care of you. Pleased with their response, I came in the next day. Explained the situation again, they told me to have a seat. The gentleman did an ok job as best, he only used the pumice stone (not the tool that looks like a cheese grater). Then they tried to charge me for full price ($25 for the basic)!! I explained I already paid for the pedi the week prior. I dont recall the type of pedi I initially got but it wasnt the basic. A couple of the employees told her to charge me $10 or so then she told me shed charge me $15. I gave her $10 and left promptly and annoyed. Additionally, i had to reshape some my toenails when I got home. Half of them were crooked. I do not recommend this place. The staff is nice but the quality is seriously lacking. Oh and today (not even a full 24 hrs after they fixed my pedi) my feet are rough again.

I’ve been coming here for the last few years since I’ve been in Midland, and everyone who works here is so friendly and talented at their job.

Worst experience ever! The guy didnt know what he was doing and Im not sure he was even licensed. I explained step by step because he didnt know. And yet still had to pay $40! My nails arent the same length or straight at all. It looks like they will come off within a few days. My cousin got hers done right before me and hers are good but someone else did hers. I get people need to learn but not on a customer thats paying $40 for nails and nobody checks his job. He didnt even compare the two hands to see if they matched!

I love going there but today I had a new girl and what should have taken 45min it was an hour 1/2 and the owner had to take over which added another 20min.

Terrible service and attempted to charge for everything under the sun! I expected a bit of an upcharge for the shellac, and a design but I never imagined that a few letters with a subtle outline would cost $20. Not only that but they charged me to shape my nails which I have never had to pay for. Whenever I told the girl I wanted red and picked out something that appeared red on the bottle as she was painting it I said that I would like something a little bit darker she told me it will get darker when its drying and my blue nails sure enough did get darker but the Red stayed very orange even after a couple of coats and going under the dryer. The manicurist switched halfway through and left, a man came to do my design and the top coat when he was doing the design I thought surely with the top coat it would have a different tint as the woman stated, which was not hard to believe as many polishes do this but once it was finished nothing had changed, I told the man that it wasnt what I had asked for and that she assured me a change once it was done. He then asked me why I didnt say anything sooner because we were done now as I told him I thought that it would be closer to the color on the bottle and that his wife told me it would be darker when finished. I asked if I could get some holographic tint on them most places charge $5 if even at all when you are already adding on, this place told me it was going to be 15, not only that but whenever I asked him to change the color of the Polish since it didnt turn out how she told me he told me that was going to be an extra $20! Just to get the color that I wanted in the first place! They were very nice but extremely unreasonable. I left extremely unhappy paying far too much for something that I was very discontent with and half a design because they were already charging ridiculously.
