Was a customer for 6 years and had to end service due to moving to a location outside of their coverage area. When returning the equipment they told me that I did not turn a router that was taken by a technician a few years ago when I did an upgrade to the 1 gig service. Since the technician did not document that he took the router with him, Im now being forced to pay for it. Just make sure you get anything they do well documented yourself as they obviously suck at documentation. Also, dont expect any appreciation for sticking with their service.
After spending many years with ATT who was unsuccessful in resolving a problem, we called on Grande. What a breath of fresh air the whole experience has been. Their customer service is unsurpassed and the technician they sent was knowledgeable and patient with the problems ATT left us with. Overall we couldnt be happier and will highly recommend Grande to anyone needing an outstanding service provider. Job well done.
Cable came with our bundle which they failed to tell us about. After calling to start receiving cable services, we were asked for a phone number to best reach us and tech called an old number in the account. Never showed up to service cable installation. When calling the same day and day after they were no help as to say “I’m sorry sir our notes state here that they called and knocked on the door” never heard a knock once never received a phone call and did not allow me to speak to supervisor. Though they have a nice attitude they are no help over the phone i assume now that the tech’s can now lie about whatever on “notes” and get away with it. When i asked if there is anything else that can be done to help they just responded with no sir. And is not the first time when we’ve had trouble with the WiFi. Do not recommend if you are expecting them to actually do their jobs majority of the time.
Cannot seem to create a Grande email which is required for streaming live tv. Called, and person on phone could not assist either. Pay a lot of money to not have this feature. Considering cancelling cable and only having internet at this point. Would be nice to have an email link to send inquiries to .
As someone who has dealt with AT&T and Suddenlink for years (Im still, unfortunately, a customer of Suddenlink elsewhere), Grande Communications is a welcome change.For starters, compared to AT&T, being able to speak with someone I can actually understand on the phone, is certainly helpful. I recently setup new service, and it was pretty effortless.There has been one snafu, in that I was supposed to get the new Tivo box, so Ill have to call about that. But otherwise, setup and installation was easy, and so far (a month in), there have been no issues. Gigabit internet speed is consistent, and I have no complaints.Even the folks who came to bury the cable were communicative. THATs never happened in any other city. Normally, they hack-apart the yard, chop thru other lines (or your sprinkler system) and are gone in a flash. Not the case w/ the contractor Grande uses in Midland. I actually received texts from a real human, notifying me of when they would be arriving.
I recently moved to midland. I needed internet and cable as most people do. I had the service not even a month and had to make a service call for the cable. Every time I turned the tv on I had to reset the modem. The service support was very helpful in replacing the modem. How ever the problem still occurs to this day. The cable works when it wants. Blaming the internet service. But when I check the internet speed which is the highest speed they offer it says it’s working perfect. I’m paying a lot of money for a service that works a fraction of the time. Junk cable don’t spend the money on it.
Moved from Suddenlink to Grande and the only complaint I have is that I didnt do it sooner. Much better service, smaller and easier to move equipment, better pricing, professional, clean install. All around awesome experience.
Grande; please, please, please, please extend service to my area!! I hate Suddenlink!!! Ive going on 10 days this month without service & Suddenlink doesnt seem to care b/c they are only high speed internet (I dont care what att says, 25mbps is not high speed in 2021) in my area. My location is well inside city limits, have been since Grande came to Midland! Please, please, please, extend your service area!!!Id love to give you 5 ⭐s if you had service here!!
They say its power outages, but yet its off for about 5 hours a day, at the same time, and I pay for unlimited internet. Either they throttle the connections or they just dont know how to do their jobs. Terrible internet service, terrible customer service. Once I find another isp Im switching
Fired suddenlink because their answer to everything was its your modem. Hired Grande and they figured out the problem with my internet, and have resolved my issues. Fantastic customer service so far!9-6-21. Not so fast. Internet is continually in and out. So freaking annoying. Customer service has declined to have you reset your modem? Level. Does anyone know of a good provider that can give good reliable service in Midland?

Grande has been to my house 4 times since September. The internet never works and the cable works in only one room. Either the cable or internet, you cant have both at the same time. Then they want to charge for every time they come.
We have been customers for far to long it seems. The prices they charge are outrageous. I cant even get anyone on the phone to cancel service.So, I am going to send the equipment back and note that Im not paying anymore than through yesterday. Im only writing this as proof of my actions.
What ever you do look at other companies first. Ive been a loyal customer for more than 4 years but lately the service and customer service is a wreck. I noticed my bill increased last year and I called and was told that that was the new price. I called to speak to a tech because of bad service and decided to ask about pricing. It runs out the price for the speed i was getting its 12 dollars cheaper than what I was being charged. I asked why do you offer me customers cheaper pricing than loyal customers and was told thats the way their company works. Im going to be shopping around to change soon.
Amazing. I switched from suddenlink who was constantly giving g us problems and we have been nothing but satisfied. Prices are fair, they come in and set you up with eero and its all downhill from there. Internet is fast and I pay $52 / mo vs 72$ from suddenlink and the wifi was always down or having problems with them.Customer service is also a1 compared to suddenlink whos customer service is nearly absent.

I went here to find something better than what I had with Suddenlink, and in less than 10 minutes I walked out with knowledge the sales reps cared for my needs and satisfaction, a bill at $40 less, and a big smile on my face. Technician was professional and dedicated. He installed a new line, finished in about 1 hour, and I have had no problems. Download and upload speeds are as promised and sufficient.I have NO complaints so far ! ! !
Such great fast and cheap internet/cable! Hardly if ever have problems and when we do the customer service is outstanding! Quick response from techs and very personable and enjoyable to deal with! So glad we “made the switch”!

Better than Suddenlink, but by how much? The first two months were okay but the tuner and router couldnt be on the same outlet so three months before another line could be installed. Then AT&T cut the cable line while installing a phone line across the alley. 28 hours later I finally had cable back (so much for the 24 hour guarantee) but that was because the cable was laying across my yard. 31 days later the cable is still laying across my yard and it will be another week or more before it gets buried (maybe). Website is difficult to navigate and half the time you still have to call customer service. Potential to be really great company, but dont follow through on what the technicians say.

Do not switch to Grande. I called for information. The representative told me I couldn’t switch to Grande until I could tell her what speed my current internet was so I said forget it. Then, a man called, telling me the lady didn’t know what she was doing.I finally went ahead and changed my service to Grande. I have had it less than 2 weeks and it has already gone out. I called to get it fixed and was told that it will be 2 more days before they can fix it. I am working from home and can’t wait that long. I am trying to find somewhere to complain and there is no email address to complain to. I haven’t even had it long enough to pay the stupid installation fee and I am already waiting multiple days for repairs.

I’ve been with them since I moved to town in April. Before then I was in San Antonio with at&t uverse, never had a problem. I originally started with the 600 mbps plan never had any issue with the internet or issues with buffering. Last week I upgraded to the 1 gig internet and whole home internet. Every day since the install my TV buffers everyday throughout the day. I call and ask them to check on it and am told to run a speed test, I do and they say everything is fine with my internet and I say then why have I restarted my modem everyday and it still buffers everyday day. Then she says we can send a technician out but will have to charge you. How is it since April I never had an issue but since they supposedly upgraded me I’ve had nothing but issues. And I’m supposed to pay for a a technician when I’ve had nothing but problem since the upgraded. And the customer service rep was anything but understanding. She was very quick to want to cut off my service if I wasn’t happy with it, and not the least bit interested in fixing my internet. Very professional company who showed how much they care about the customer base.

The technicians cut our Direct TV line while installing their internet. Their wires were laying across our yard when they left. I called customer service to have them come back and fix their mistakes. We have spoken to customer service three times. They sent out a supervisor and the technician came back out. They fixed the issue and were apologetic. Thank you for being responsive.

If you expect to get what you pay for then I highly advise you to take your business somewhere else. If you pay for internet expect to get 10-20% of the speeds you pay for. After over a dozen tech visits multiple modem swaps even moving to a new address and 20+ calls to the tech support line I’ve been told “sorry we don’t guarantee our service speeds” well I no longer guarantee my payment. 20 Mbps when paying for 600 Mbps is absolutely unacceptable and Grande refuses to offer any real solutions but will expect 100% payment when only delivering 10% of the service.

The staff w is nice and they really help you when you have a problem with your bill,they do everything to fix it and help you understand charges etc; I really like Grandes customer service and how they have caring people to help you. I have not came across one rude or uncaring person.I also like that my bill is only $83.00 and some change. Grande also has some great cable bundles ( cable,internet and home phone) maybe you just want internet. Both are really good prices. Stop by and ask for yourself. Im a grande customer and I love my service I receive and bill?!!!
I cant even..... I was going to set up new service with these folks. I got all the way to the point of scheduling installation and confirming the order until I was smacked in the face with the fees they charge. I was ordering service for $69.99.......the fees would be an additional $62.49 PER MONTH. How can you allow customers to be charged that much in fees? ATT doesnt. Suddenlink doesnt. They have fees, but they dont equal the monthly service charge. Whatever deal they are advertising, you might as well double it and dig deep my friends.
I’ve been with them for about a year and since day 1 I have had problems with my internet!! Been pretty patient with them. Finally decided to call and complain two weeks ago, a guy came said everything looks fine. And now it has gotten so much worse! If I could switch companies I would in a heartbeat! But no one else comes out here where we stay. But I have never recommended Grande to anyone! Due to my experience.
Staff polite and helpful. Got us upgraded to new and better system and it costs less than what weve been paying. Id say they did a great job.

Something is always wrong, or there is technical difficulties every other week. When I called about moving my location I was told it wasn’t an important issue so I needed to call back at another time or date. I’ve been out of internet for 4 days because when I call or show up to the officer it’s not an important matter and I need to wait.
Never know when or how good the DVR will work. Many times it wont even let you record so why pay for it. Have to reset the main box as well as the router once a week. Got tired of calling to report it they always have you do the same thing over and over instead of finding the final answer. Price isnt bar but you pay for what you get.
I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND GRANDE COMMUNICATIONS TO ANYONEAs of today I was a customer with Grande out of Midland, Texas for 18 months. I found out today that I have been getting charged $65 a month more than I should have been for ~6-8 months. Apparently they lowered their prices shortly after I started my service with them and even though I am on a month to month contract my prices were never lowered. When I called customer service to see if they could refund me they said, it is up to you to keep up with our price changes No way to treat a customer that has payed on time every month for 18 months for the premium package.Update #1 after canceling my services with them I realized they are the only internet providers for my address so I canceled my TV services with them and continued my internet. My next bill I had a charge for $455 for failure to turn in equipment even though a grande employee picked up the equipment. 3 months later I am still calling them on a weekly basis to get a refund. More than 7 people have said things like: you have been approved for the refund you need to wait 72 hours for your refund to hit I am escalating your case to my manager the case is in our financial back office and I cannot talk to them you have to pay the $455 dollar bill and then you will be refunded (did this and still no refund).Update #2 I emailed the person in the comment below...no response. I cant say Im surprised at all still havent got the refund after another week. I cant reply to the comment below (strange) so I have to put another update here.

I have always done my business on the computer with Grande and THE SERVICE over the phone,but I went in the office once. There was a rep. There was one I guest in the back on break.But there was another rep. Who just sitting looking at her screen never at knowledge me standing there. All I wanted to do is drop off a payment. I think that was poor service for Grande. The great service should be for all employee with any company. But the Office here in Midland doesnt go with Grande LogoWhen it says 24-7 we are here for you.
Absolutely disappointed. I was a customer for 5 years until I moved to an area that doesnt get grande. Loved them until Ive had such a hard time getting my deposit back. And that was 5 months ago and still...... No deposit. They said they can only give my refund in a check even though you can pay your bill with a card? Why can you just refund my card? Even with a check they tell you it takes 4-6 weeks to receive. The first game they canceled the first check and here I am waiting for another check. About to come up on th6 weeks AGAIN. Quick to take your money but not so quick to give you back your money. Whenever I had AT&T they took my deposit from my card and guess what, refunded my refund TO MY CARD. How bout that?
At first I was all about suddenlink and then I got grande, been with them for six yrs. They always stay competitive with prices and offer the best for streaming and Ive had less problems with them in 6yrs than Ive had with others before. Even when they were transitioning to fiber optics in my area.
9 years of GREAT service and never had issues! Thanx 😌 Grande ...only if WE didnt have to pay for ALL DIGITAL BOXES...some of us do have a set budget...hopefully soon they have Great New Bundles we can switch and save.... ASAP!!!

Horrible service. Have had since July now & it always stops and disconnects from service. Not worth what they charge you. Slow as can be. I dont recommend it to anyone. They say they will fix it or reboot it but it never works.

I wish I could give them no stars...hands down the worst Internet provider...been a customer for 4 years never a late payment and every week or two Im on the phone having to call them because the internet dropped..I run 2 devices max at a time and its not bad or slow connection its no connection...when I call them they spout the same crap over and over..first year of service might be nice but they wont respect you after that..youre just another paying customer they dont care about

I would give Grande Communications 0 stars if it would let me. I have scheduled appointments with them to fix my internet that has not worked for several days. They do not show up and they do not call to let anyone know. Every time I speak to customer service I’m given a completely different story than the previous conversation. I advise everyone to seek other cable/satellite options than to use this company. It has been an absolute nightmare of an experience dealing with Grande Communications. They have yet to make any attempt to remedy this situation.Eric Jessup
Great when it works- which is rarely. Internet outages practically every single day. No point in trying to watch Netflix or any other online streaming because you can always count on the internet to go out in the middle of your show or movie. Definitely dont recommend.

So here I am missing work once again waiting for a technician to show up between 8-12. 4 hour window. Still laugh as I sit on the phone and hear imagine a WiFi u never have to worry about. No dead spots. Fastest internet. Superior service and equipment. All false statements. How bout getting yalls act together and provide RELIABLE SERVICES AND EQUIPMENT before you can make those other statements. I love the customer service In the actual store but the people that go out to do the service & 800#s dont know what the hell theyre doing they reeeeeeally aint worth a damn. But thats cust. Serve no matter where you go these days. And thats pretty sad people have gotten this way. Its rare to find ANYONE anywhere that really wants to do their job or just be Nice to one another. This has been the worst experience imaginable. I have been trying to get service at my residence for over a week now and instead I get the run around and left on hold for over an hour!!! Instead of assisting me.
Customer service and communication is not the strong suit of Grande communications. We have been working on a new drop for our service for over a week: over 3 hours spent on hold, wasted vacation days on waiting for a tech for the whole day without anyone showing up, and still not having an answer to moving our service. Not acceptable customer service.
Qhen I signed up, they did a poor job explaining what I was getting, and I ended up with just a cable box rather than the DVR i had expected. I was able to exchange it and upgrade my service (for a cost), but then I go to download their mobile app, advertised as allowing you to watch programs on the go. First, I had to setup an email with them...but you cant do that on your own, you have to call customer service to do it, which is a hassle, and they want you to twll them what password you want, and generate a username for you, obviously this should be the opposite. Well I finally got that taken care of and sign in to the app, and theres no option to qatch anything. When I select a program, it only gives me info with no option to watch. So then I go to the menu and select help and step-by-step instructions, which knly takes me to a webpage asking me to download a Tivo app, which, as far as I know, I dont have a Tivo. also, their remotes arent programmed to a specific box (like the rest of this decade), so trying to have multiple televisions in the same room is a severe irritation. all in all, horrible service and difficult to navigate anything you want to do.
All cable. Companys being deregulated was a HORRIBLE IDEA. They immediately jacked. Up all the customers Bills. An use taxes as the excuse! Mine went up 20 bucks. Same channels mo MONEY. Kinda like health INSURANCE did AFTER TRUMP. More money less COVERAGE. Higher premiums. Higher deductible. Corporate greed and a license to screw the PEOPLE u serve. My badd thats Washington D.C. in General.

I have subscribed for their 300 mbps internet only. The service was excellent until about a few weeks back. The internet connection keeps dropping especially on weekends. The customer service representatives have no idea what’s going on most of the time.
Overall I have had good service with Grande and have been a customer for more than 10 years but my bill is beginning to skyrocket. Latest bill (08.10.18) went up 20 dollars to $177.23 for TV, phone and internet. I do not subscribe to any of the premium channels, basic and expanded only, 1 TIVO and 2 minis. and I bought my own router, not renting one, so in reality my bill went up more than 20 dollars.I spoke with Jeff on 8.18.18 and he said that there were no other options(specials). He seemed rather annoyed and short that I would call. He was less than friendly. I told him that Monday I was going shopping and he said that I was free to do that. Which I will be doing.I guess this is the thanks for being a long time loyal customer. Being retired and not much of a tv watcher can not afford this.
Over all happy with internet service. If there is a problem I can call and report the issue. My only complaint is twice when I had a service call no one comes or calls to cancel. It is an inconvenience and a bad reflection on the whole Grande team.
While the office staff is fine and polite the technicians are a total joke my internet goes out sometimes once a month then they usually give an estimate on when it will come back on due to a shortage but it doesnt come on till hours after that time and you see there staff is being lazy out by the cable box trying to fix it but just talking to each other about this girl and that girl. Also leaving holes in the walls and never patching it till my apartment staff tell them about it. I completely regret having grande and I hope this steers you away from them as well so you dont get stuck in this mess!
Paid for increased internet speed, 400.However, for our gaming purposes, it made NO difference. Not worth the price they charge you for it either. We are about done with Grande.

I would give them less then a 1 if i could i was paying $63 a month for cable and wifi. Discontinued cable and they dropped it to $53 a month for just wifi which has been steadily going up.i have been paying like $73 a month for three months now and 3 times i have had the wifi go out they reset the box and change the connection. When that happens they give you need a new password and you have to re-enter the new password in all devices. Overcharged and very frustrating.
If you want hundreds of dollars in hidden fees and extremely rude customer service, this is the company for you! Would give negative stars if I could!
Nothing but problems from day one. First said would have no deposit. There was a 100 dollar deposot! Requested account be put on hold for two months. They said it was done. Wrong again not only did it never get put on hold they sent the account to a credit agency for the two months we requested it be on hold and 500+ for the equipment that they never even attempted to get back. Worse then Sudden link, hell honestly its worse then when Sudden link was cox cable here in Midland!
The man that answered the phone was very rude and only gave short answers like he did not want to be on the phone, but that’s his job. Very unprofessional.

Much better than Suddenlink! We hardly ever have any trouble at work or at home with the Grande Services, the most trouble we ever have is related to the TIVO box itself, which in my opinion is just a glitch with the TIVO services. The Grande customer service is great and their technicians are awesome too, and they dont steal your belongings like Suddenlink technicians which is a plus!

Dont waste your money paying for Internet speeds of more than 50 mbps, I paid for the 200 for quite a while and consistently ran speed tests for my wifi and wired connections. The avg speed I got on my wifi was around 30 and wired was 50-60 (30% of what they are charging me for). Only had service go out once, so in that regard they are great. They also raised prices after 6 months, so went to bump my internet down from 200mbps to 50mbps and wound up saving myself 6$/month. Overall not satisfied but supposedly they are the best of the 3 evils out here..
