First off, I’m not here to bash this clinic. I love how professional they are. They have been accommodating & I will continue using them. My two Aussies go to work with me every day. I do not leave my house without them. They are my WORLD. I called this clinic to have them refill Wranglers seizure medication. I told them I needed it in 30 minutes & they made it happen. They worked with me 100%. Greenbelt called me the next & told me they had given my dog 5x his strength in medication by accident. I have never been so MAD in my life. Wrangler slept for two days straight. Thank god Wrangler did not overdose. For anyone having their animals prescription filled here, please make sure you know what they are taking because I did not.

I recently moved to the Midland area from a large metro area. The relationship I established with my hometown Vet clinic was top notch and the better part of a decade. My companion animals are the closest thing to kids for me and I have high standards when it comes to their care. Dr. Abby and the technicians I have interacted with have all been professional, friendly and provided the best care for my boys. Happy to recommend Dr. Abby and the Greenbelt team

Good service! They are doing curbside which is nice, since you can wait in your car. The vet and techs were really nice and accommodating. They wear masks and come get your dog at your car and then bring it back when done. Please wear a mask when they are getting your dog to keep them healthy as well. Be considerate.

There are people in life who are called to their certain fields and professions and others certainly not....We can definitely vouch for the great team at VCA Midland as being of that small group who have most certainly been called to do their utmost on all levels for the animals and their owners too.These people are extremely knowledgeable, most qualified and diligent in their ethical practice and treatment of both the pet and owner.After having relocated here over more than a year ago we have experienced since arriving - only the best quality treatment and service. Also to mention, at most reasonable and affordable rates.Thorough examinations, gentleness, quality care and most definitely too great people skills and communications, including always providing prompt and accurate feedback.Our pet has been treated primarily by Dr Lindsay Bailey - but Drs Abby Knoll and Sonal Patel have always also been on call and duty to provide the same quality and standard. The staff went out of their way to save my lil guy and when he passed they were very supportive and available for my emotional needs. My kitty was very sick and they took him right away. He sadly didnt make it but they did everything they could to make him at ease. I 100% recommend them if your animal needs anything.

I’ve gone to Greenbelt for 2 years now and every time I call I’m placed on a 10-30 minute hold each time. The pace is extremely slow and the doctors were not very informative when I took my baby in for his broken leg. Midland animal clinic and hospital was able to schedule an appointment instantly when I called.

This was our first experience here.You could look long and hard and not find af more dedicated team.Kind, compassionate and professional at the same time.I cannot be more thankful for the service they provided.I heartily recommend!

I had to bring my dog in to be put down after he had a stroke that left him paralyzed. The receptionist/assistant November was kind and helpful, she walked us through costs and preparations for his remains etc. The vet was kind, empathetic and very respectful to us and to my dog. They even helped us with payments since it was so unexpected and so close to the holidays, and made a clay paw print for us to remember my dog by, even though I was flat broke. I highly recommend them, these are the kind of people you want looking after your pet.

I recommend this Emergency Vet to anyone who is need of help. They took my puppy who was 2 months at the time with Parvo and gave her the best care; she is now 7 months and is doing amazingly! The communication from the doctors to the staff was absolutely awesome. They truly treated Raven as if she was theirs. I was getting some red grapes out of the freezer and dropped one. I hastily search for it because I didn’t want my Papillon (Gizmo) to eat it. I look every where but I found Gizmo, smacking his lips like he just had a steak. Gizmo is 13 years old, with heart and lungs issues. I knew dogs should not eat grapes but a dog with heart issues, was worrisome. I called Greenbelt Vet., and spoke to Emily who referred me to poison control. They told me I was correct and I should get Gizmo to a vet. It was 2 a.m., Dr Hancock and Emily where just the kind of people I needed in times of trouble. They took my friend (Gizmo), treated him and gave him back, just as stubborn as any Papillons could be. Thank you for being professional, knowledgeable and kind.

VCA really came through for me today. Id honestly give them more than 5 stars if I could. My puppy was spayed six days ago and her stitches got torn open. I drove to Tall City Vet, the place where she had her procedure, and they informed me they could not see her today. I was told the Vet that did the surgery was on vacation and the other vet was booked up for the day. They referred me to the Emergency Vet Services in Odessa. Lets just say I was less than pleased they could not make time to see their patient. So I called VCA and they fit my puppy into their schedule, even though she was not their patient. Within a few hours my puppies incision was stapled back together. Long story short, VCA will be my vets office from here on out, and Tall City Vet lost another customer today.Thank you VCA for everything!!

The tacos were gourmet. The service was very fast. The ambiance was cozy rustic. Cash only when we were there (theres an ATM machine). We didnt try the wine. All said and done about $5 per smallish excellent taco. I would definitely go back and recommend. My fave was the spicy shrimp. Yum.

I could never thank Dr. Blessington and the staff enough for everything they did for my dog, Belle. We were not able to save her, but I’m thankful that she was there and that I know my dog was in the best care possible.The hospital was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly, caring, educated and professional. They have all of the medical equipment needed to provide the best medicine for your pet. No, they are not the cheapest... but I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for. This place is worth every penny. I feel like prices are on par for an emergency hospital.(Just remember it takes money to pay for the equipment, doctors and educated support staff and etc. to keep the place running!)If any of my dogs are ever in an emergency, this is where we are going.

Had to make an very sad decision today & everyone I was involved in with this hospital was very caring & loving and so very helpful. Hate the way I had to find this place but glad I did ad now this will be Dog Dogs new caretaker. Thank you all so much for making what I had to decide today easier and gentler on me. Dr. Paine D.V.M. is fantastic. We met him through the Permian Basin Emergency Veterinary at Greenbelt in Midland. Greenbelt is a great new clinic, the E.R. was fully staffed, with a compassionate staff, they met us upon arrival and immediately went to work on my girl Ms. Regina Lacy. We had a 10-15 minute wait. Would definitely recommend THIS A.E.C. anytime!! Its way better than waiting 4-6 hours at the OTHER clinic in Odessa. Thanks Greenbelt for giving the Permian Basin the choice of another E.R. in YOUR clinic.

Amazing staff and Vets!!!! Bella went in for a teeth cleaning. Expected a much more invasive procedure but was surprised when they came back and said her dental work was not as serious. Appreciate when a place provides honest work without trying to make a few extra dollars here and there. There spa and boarding are top notch as well! Familiar faces who love your fur baby as much as you do.

Very pleased with this facility! Considering we went with a very sick puppy that had to be put down, the staff was incredibly good and considerate of our feelings and concerns. The receptionist immediately walked around the counter and asked us what was wrong with our puppy. She took us to a room and quickly got the tech to draw blood and get a fecal sample. The vet came in and explained to us what he had. My puppy had distemper and is highly contagious to other dogs. The vet discussed our options and what was best for Coco. I like that she explained everything in great detail to where me and my 10 yr. old son were able to understand. They made everything very accommodating to us in the best way that they could. The clinic is very nice and clean, it smells good, and Dr.Huber and her staff are amazing! I highly recommend them!

If I could give a negative star i would give this worthless company a -5 star review they dont care about your animals they only want your money. Go someplace different

Gave my dog an unknown pain shot which caused him to be paralyzed now he’s gone I’ll never get over this I’m so traumatized.

My dog had to be put to rest and Greenbelt took us in immediately. They are the most kind and caring people to have entered into my life when I needed someone the most. Dr. Abbey Knoll was with us during the last final moments and the compassion she had was not only seen on her face, but also felt. Michelle Corley was with us the whole time. She is one of the most comforting people to help during this time of heartbreak. Shes remarkable as is the whole staff there. They are all special people and I cant thank them enough. The staff is friendly, and always welcoming. However, there diagnostics and knowledge of pets are questionable. I brought in my dog because her heart rate was beating extremely fast, and she was panting really hard. It was beating so fast that you could literally feel her heart beat throughout her body. When the vet saw her she stated that she was just constipated, and there was nothing to worry about. I asked about the irregular heart beat several times, which the vet responded there was no issue she just has a strong heart beat which is good. After them selling me unnecessary medicine and food I walked out with a $900 bit, and my worries were not settled about my dog’s well being. After forcing her to eat the food and medication I sat and monitored her, but the symptoms never faded. After looking around my home I stumbled upon my inhaler that was chewed up, and upon seeing that I rushed my dog to the emergency vet at almost midnight. The vet said that she was absolutely flabbergasted that the vet at Greenbelt didn’t take any emergency action from the heartbeat alone, and if we would have waited the night out our dog would have died from heart failure. Greenbelt also had the nerve to charge me to keep my dog evaluated with them for a few days, and completely ignored the fact they misdiagnosed my pet and scammed me out of $900 in the first place. Beware this place, sometimes cheaper isn’t always better.

They took very good care of us. They even used their Angel funds to help us pay for the euthanasia of the dog we brought in. Very caring and professional. Thanks to everyone who assisted me that day.

Only took 3 visits and $500 to get rid of ear infection, incompetent and overpriced in my opinion

It’s not a bad place unless you need to get a refill on your pets medicine, so you call them and low and behold they’ve closed until the 28th of July, unfortunately we had no idea this was going on. But they could’ve at least had someone come in once a day and check and see if any of their patients needed refills on their medication. Anyways we’ve been trying to get our dogs medication refilled through 1800-pet-meds since Tuesday the 28 of July, now all Greenbelt needs to do is approve the medication through email, phone or hell a fax would even work. But so far nothing....

After spending over two hours here the doctor still could not give us any information that was relatively helpful. My dog got hit by a car and all she could give us was “I don’t know” “I’m not sure”. Throughout the entire visit she spoke of the money more than my dog. She hardly examined my dog. Paid $1200 and still didn’t get any useful information. Went to another vet and was fully informed within 10 minutes. I don’t recommend bringing any of your babies here.

Money seems to be first priority here. Very very expensive service with no shame. I will give them credit they do tell you cost and give you the opportunity to decline. However when our regular Vet reviewed the bill and what was done he stopped short of saying much. He did say enough to tell me we had way over paid and many of the charges were terrible.We quit using Greenbelt because of the stupidly high pricing. These folks say they just rent from Greenbelt but they have the same over priced structure.Go to Odessa for emergency care save a thousand dollars.

Regard bringing my dog here, since my dog had 3 cuts in his neck and bleeding. I was told it was a hour wait time in which it pass more then two hours and never stop by and check on my dog. Dont know how you all are still in business. I dont think you all have a heart. You all deserve a zero star.

Horrible rude staff, grom the moment I called the staff didnt care to help, they just asked who their regular vet was and if they were not open, as if I wasnt going there for immediaate help instead of waiting a weekfor a regular appoinment. I recommend the emergency vet in odessa they were extremely helful from the momment I called.

I brung my puppie here after she stiffened on me 5xs in a hour and paid the cost, NO ADVISE, NO HELP, just took the exam fee money and left me in the blind. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC AT ALL.... ALL THEY WANT IS MONEY

Get a second opinion they seem like they just want ur pet to charge you money and scare u by saying ur doing is not going to make it forcing you to pay cause your scared for ur pet.

When my dog got sick..no hesitation..the male doctor took him in..put him on an ivy right away..took very good care of him..and he knew what he was doing..i have to look on my receipt..i will never again go to anybody but him..this last time i took my moms cat in..we were treated by a chic doctor..got the opposite not very good treatment..she was charging us an arm and a leg..and i took the baby home..and he passed away..very sad...he was 10 yrs old. and even the nurse who took him in was not very pleasant..compared to Mrs.meagan...shes awesome..but this other mexican lady was not to calmly..

We took our dog on a Monday because we were worried about his stool and they did all these tests and told us he was fine. I took him to our regular vet the same week on Wednesday and they said he was sick, and that they didn’t know how the ER Vet missed the parasite. He was close to dying within one day and the ER charged us almost $500 and said he was fine and sent us on our way.

This group is a joke. They lost our american airlines esa form requiring us to go back 3 times and waiting for over an hour in their office lobby to finally get it!We got our puppy from Italy and the vet completely misinterpreted the vaccinations that he came with. They made no effort to even google the meaning of the vaccination stamps and continued with their incorrect vaccination course based US time -- not the records. My communication/interpretation from the breeder was irrelevant to them.Last week our puppy turned 6 months and I called to make sure we could order a chewy rx and whether we had to come in. They said we were fine to place the order and they would approve the rx. After a week chewy contacted us to tell us that our vet was non responsive. I called and they changed their mind that an appointment was now necessary (without telling me)... and insisted on an appointment only to confirm his weight for the rx. By this point we were out of town and I scheduled an appointment today at 8 am. I drove back to midland for this and arrived to an empty parking lot at exactly 8:15 -- they now insisted that I reschedule because I was over 10 minutes late. I explained that this was an appointment that they scheduled and I didnt even want it and that the parking lot was empty! No difference -- that as our final visit to greenbelt.

First I would like to say the personal who work at Greenbelt Veterinary are extremely nice and professional. Only negative thing I can say is one time the office manager yell at me because my cat bit a vet tech, supposedly the vet tech was getting the cat ready to be put into the cat carrier and was bit on the hand and had to go to the local emergency room to receive medical attention. What I don’t like that she yell at me in front of other customers that were waiting in the lobby of Greenbelt and made it look like it’s my fault for my cat biting the vet tech while I was waiting in the lobby area. She called Midland animal control to report my cat which is understandable by law I have no problem with that, because the cat needs to be quarantined. Midland animal control came over to my residence and before the officer got out of the truck she told me this is so stupid they called us to check out your cat. I complied with the law and the cat was on lockdown for a week and then cleared after that by Midland animal control. Now getting back to Greenbelt they seem to have a very high turnover rate with employees and are always short staffed with veterinarians, so if you schedule an appointment just be prepared to wait 30 to 40 minutes to see a veterinarian. One day I waited so long I thought I would be collecting Social Security. The personal or head manager needs to go back to school on how to run office or read “Office 101” how to run a office on a time line. This isn’t rocket science! Maybe this head manager should work for the IRS were its always slow work. I am now at another veterinary we’re they see you and your animal in 2 minuets after you walk in the door with great service.

Dr. Hightower and the rest of the staff provided us excellent care. We rushed our dog in late Friday night and they were diligent all weekend and called and provided us updates each night. Even though the prognosis seemed grim initially the care and recommendations they provided saved our dogs life. Monday morning they were able to do a seamless transfer to our vet and we are happy to report after her surgery she is home and expected to make a full recovery! We cannot thank them enough!

Absolutely amazing, the workers are kind and explain things in an easy to understand way, and definitely know what they are doing. Its not the cheapest place, but its the best place Ive ever been for my pet! So worth the money!

This place was amazing in every way possible, the staff was absolutely great they helped me in every way possible and loved my pet I recommend this place to anybody that has emergency needs for their animal.

Decent vet that genuinely did care about or dogs well being, helped us a lot but we later found out we were almost charged double the price for the tests and blood work that was done. The woman that answers the phone during the weekend is extremely rude and inconsiderate. I was following up on the phone with a very simple question and she treated me as if I was stupid and cut me off two seperate times mid sentence to talk to someone else working there without even saying give me one second please then she hung up on me. It doesnt matter how great of a vet you are, your front desk staff has the heaviest influence on people deciding if they should take their pet to you. I highly suggest you hire a new front desk receptionist, for the sake of your business. She very obviously hates her job.

The doctor took her time with us and our puppy to make sure we understood. I would use them for our regular vet if they were that kind of clinic. It was a sad day when we had to say good bye to our baby. But the amazing people here we genuine and caring in every way. They were sympathetic about our situation. They made her as comfortable as could be. The doctor was knowledgeable and understanding. They went above and beyond for my puppy and myself and I couldnt thank them more for how they reacted to the situation.

I’ve been a customer for 8+years. Missed an appointment (my fault completely) and tried to get the ladies to work with me on rescheduling in time for my puppy to be boarded that weekend. They couldn’t. Understandable.. they are busy. Asked the receptionist if I had her final puppy shots done somewhere else, would I still be able to board my dogs? She said no. However, the vet told me I could board my new puppy the weekend after her shots. I got it okayed weeks ago. The receptionist would not hear it or ask the vet. Disappointed and more understanding of the bad reviews. Communication is lacking there and I believe I may need to find a new vet.

Worst veterinary clinic in Midland. They dont care about your animal, they only care about the money. My family has used this vet for over 40 years, since Dr. Green opened it. When he left and a big box corporation took over, there service went downhill and the prices skyrocketed. I took my dog in for her yearly checkup and she was as healthy as could be. One week later, I took her in for her teeth cleaning and mysteriously, a heart murmur had appeared and on a scale from 1-6, they listed it as a 4. How the heck did that just appear in 7 days? I spent a ridiculous amount of money for them to do all sorts of testing the week before and she was extremely healthy. Since they know I am a single mom, they suggested I order her hearth medications through a pharmacy online to save money. I appreciated that until they refused to give me more than one month refill at a time. I appreciated that until every single month, they refused to answer the request verification and I had to call. I appreciated that until every single month, I ended up having to cancel the online order due to their lack of caring and order the medications straight from Greenbelt (at double the cost of online) so my dog wouldnt be without the medication that is keeping her alive. WORST. VET. EVER. These people only care about your money. They dont care about your pets at all.

My dog got hit by a car and after being put in the waiting room for 15 minutes at West Texas Emergency, we came here and they saw us right away. And when we couldnt afford the first couple estimates they brought us (mind you, they were already working on her at this point) they told us what we could do to make her stay at home more comfortable, and gave us everything we needed. This place is now my first choice go to.

We took our cat in because he cut his head. The Vet Technicians were having a conversation about how they Love Yeager and parties. The Dr came in about a half hour later. He looks at our fur baby and tells us what he wants to do. The girl comes back with an estimate for almost $600. I tell them No I would go somewhere else. Dr Hightower comes in and he was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! He was just there for a quick couple hundred bucks. I took my baby to a different Vet for $250. Save your money and choose a different clinic.

Paid $110 for them to write down what I said was wrong with my dog and told me home remedies that I could have Googled. My dog she is vomiting feces, so I get a diagnostic estime of $750 instead of real help. When I told the doctor I cant do that until my next payday...all I get is--if she can wait that long. I have a feeling I will be burying my four year old baby girl soon.Guess a vets hippocratic oath is to the almighty dollar instead of their patients.

We absolutely cannot thank these kind people enough! If not for them our precious Gus wouldn’t have lived. You can tell they really care! And no matter how many times we called over the 5 days he was there to check on him they NEVER acted annoyed to answer our call and tell us how our baby was. If you need an emergency vet this place is unlike any other!!!!

Walked in with 8 week old pug and they sent use right to the back as soon as we walked in the front door. They staff was friendly and helpful! I would recommend this place. They helped my puppy out so fast and we were out within 45 mins. Thank you so much!

I wish I could give 0 stars. There always seemed to be something with them (services extremely overpriced, less than truthful/accurate employees, or unable/unwilling to schedule an appointment). After several miscommunications I told them I would need to take my business elsewhere, this could not have excited the employee more. She then proceeded to get off the phone as quickly as she could, I would not waste your time or money with them but that is just my recommendation.

This is a great vet place. Very nice and helpful. Boarding is nice as well. Only a couple of drawbacks. One thing is that I actually had to start boarding my dog at another location because everytime I tried to board her here they always said that it was full, even when I inquired months and months ahead of time. Also, like everything else in Midland, the waiting is so long so be prepared to wait for a long time. Other than that it was nice, especially for Midland.

Great place! Everyone was very nice and wanted to get to know my pets. They explained treatments very clearly and answered all my questions.

I had to take my 2 year old mini aussie in for getting hit by a truck and the staff there went above and beyond for me. My baby girl was in pretty bad shape and after a couple x-rays the final decision had to be made. Dr. Tammy gave me an up front and honest evaluation of my baby and after having to put her down they were very sympathetic of the whole situation. They also went out of their way to send a hand written card for my loss and made a clay paw print for me. I cant thank the staff there enough for their sympathy and care that they gave to me and my baby girl under the conditions we came in with. Thank you Permian Basin Emergency Vet from the bottom of my heart.

I just want to say thank you to Johnna, Corina, Cindy, Steph, Sonia, last but not least Dr. Blessington. I have to say they were tops in service. I have been to many different vet clinics but I’ve never received as good of a service as I received at Permian Basin Emergency Vet.

This group should be run out of town. Their treatment is solely based on money. My mother took her puppy in for diarrhea and vomiting. She told them what she could afford and the “dr” explains if she could spend $2000.00 they could probably help. She spent all she could and her puppy died an hour after she got home.DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

From the front staff to the doctor, they make your pet feel special. When you call the front staff always remembers your pets name and is normally able to help instead of making you wait on a call back from the doctor.

I took my dog here, he had a stroke I did not know at the time. They kept saying he just passed out. They charge me 1600 for nothing. They said they did test and all this but I doubt it because I took him to his vet on Monday she told me he had a stroke and she has no clue how they did not know that if they did test. He passed away a few days later. Do not take your animals here.

Excellent staff great service will highly recommend them to my family and friends took excellent care of my little dog.

We went to take our dog to this place and waited in the parking lot for an hour and 20 minutes ..Some person finally called and asked every question we had previously filled out on the form they gave us ...Our Personal Vet had his number forwarded to this Vet and they asked who our Vet was and they never heard of him...both vets are within a mile of each other...seems very strange my vet would recommend them when they didn’t even know who our vet was !!

Fantastic place to take your animals

I cant speak for anyone elses experience, but I can for mine. Ive been going here for over a year. They are so helpful any concerns or questions they always either consulted with me in person or the Vets called me, even after hours. My dog has an aggression issue that no one can understand and they made it possible with mine. Even have him go to the patio outside for his shots because he has anxiety issues. Even when he was neutered it was a smooth transition. They may not be the cheapest, but best believe Im willing to pay top dollar for my dog knowing hes taken care of. They didnt have to work with him and they did anyways!

They helped tremendously in saving the life of our newly adopted nova!! We brought her in Wednesday as she was then diagnosed with parvo. She stayed until Monday evening but they kept me updated the whole time. They even made a clay paw print for her with her mana on it! Thank you Dr. Hightower and staff!

Excellent care and service

This was a horrible experience. Dr. Bailey told us that we should return our puppy because of her health and we went to another vet and they told us that she was fine. She also told us that our puppy wouldnt ever grow past 15 lbs. and now 3 weeks later she is already almost 10 lbs.It was horrible and I went to my car crying. Make sure to get a second opinion if you go here.

Front desk ladies are rude. I only went with a friend but wouldnt take my animals there. Customer service is really important and Im not sure this place understands that.

They do not deserve a star at all Please do not take your pets I took two pups in and they were in critical condition they wouldn’t even check them until I could pay 600 bucks I left there and went to West Texas Emergency on grandview they help u and check ur pets right away since t took longer Bc I wasted my time with these guys my pups are now blind but still healthy and alive thanks to West Texas emergency

The Dr.s and staff have always been great to our animals!

This place is awesome my cat Tofu was sick the staff there took such great care of her she is back to her old self. Thanks Greenbelt for saving my Tofu she is my heart!!!

If you love your dogs as much as me then please dont waste your time here.

I have not personally experienced GBV face to face yet. However, after just speaking with them on the phone. I cannot wait until my new pup is ready so that we can make Greenbelt Veteranary our Choice!
