Where’s Fios? I am going back and forth from my home to spectrum because the modems are not working and I keep getting promoted to return/replace my equipment. WowUpdate: I scheduled for a technician to come out and help with the installation. From 5pm-6pm No call no show. How is spectrum still in business? I then went in person and saw nothing but the elderly in the waiting area. “I’m sure they are being taken care of” pure sarcasm. They’re ripping off our people and I won’t be surprised if they are taking advantage of the elderly.
A rep was stop by our house and my fiance and I dont want to do anything from Spectrum and a rep understood then he came back to tried to change our mind. We told him NO! Once we said no then DONT COME BACK! Thats happened like few months ago. Now, other rep came to our house last Monday and we told her NO. She went away then today she came back and we started frustrated and told her NO! and she said I know you have to tell me. AND DONT YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORD NO means DO NOT COME BACK!!!!!! I give this ZERO rate!!!!
Was told by customer service that I could pick my system up at any location. The lady at the store made it extremely clear that it was beyond her capabilities.
Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! I signed up for home phone service back on March 4, 2021. Time to make a long story short they never follow through on the paperwork or protocol to switch over from my current provider. They charge me for home phone service, which I paid, and they never even had me hooked up. Frontier, my old company, we’re still sending out phone bills to me because frontier still owned my phone number. Here we are two months later, I paid spectrum for a home phone service I was not getting due to their lack of professionalism and follow through. So I’ve been double paying for my home phone for the last two months due to their negligence. After 14 hours on the phone over the last two months trying to straighten this out again today they refuse to stand behind their incompetence! I did but they told me to do and now they are denying crediting me for their mistakes. Stay away from them as a service provider if at all possible! I spoke to eight people today and the pathetic responses are unbelievable! There’s no customer service, no compassion and definitely no professionalism!

I only wish this terrible, terrible company was not the only game in town. I hate them! My bill just went up $30.00 a month with absolutely no changes and no ending of any promos. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!!! Was told by Internet Tech to go to Spectrum Store to exchange a brand new defective router. Tech advised location closed at 5 PM. I get there at 4:40 OM, doors locked and no one to be found. Drove around the side of the building where Spectrum employees were taking a break and no wanted to tell me why doors were closed 20 minutes early. Drove back home with a defective router. Called internet support, spoke to a supervisor who advised me, nothing he could do and I had ro wait until Tuesday for a service. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!
Not helpful at all when I tried to return equipment for my roommate. Was treated as though I might have stolen these things and wanted to cancel a strangers cable!
I must say idk if it was because it was memorial day weekend, but I went here on a saturday and I was surprised to be in and out of this store. The customer rep was really nice.
As far as service, they know they are pretty much the only game around and pricey for what you get. Loyalty means nothing. As far as Im concerned they have a monopoly on most markets they serve. Area needs more competition to choose from.

I go to this spectrum center all the time to swap equipment for the new updated models or for upgraded service and I have never once waited more than five minutes for a representative. The employees are always cheerful and never try to sell me up like a salesman. They actually care for your needs and Spectrum is growing bigger, stronger and faster in the entire Hudson region which is great!! Thank you spectrum because you give me internet at my home upstate!!!!

Don’t even bother making an appointment online. I made an appointment online for only a return and I arrived on time, only to find there was a long line outside. There was no kiosk to sign into. So myself, and other customers, had to wait outside in the cold for well over 20 minutes. When I finally made my way inside, I had to wait another 5 minutes for the customer service employees to stop chatting with one another or changing the channel on the television. It was an actual joke. I won’t even bother using spectrum anymore just so that I won’t have to waste my time in the future dealing with their poor customer service.
When dealing with Spectrum in person service is assume. Better service plan for my needs.
The absolute worst service I have ever had. My internet and cable go out constantly. Their excuse is your modem needs and update. Seriously every freaking day. Expensive, slow, and disrespectful is what spectrum is. I’m can’t wait for verizon to come into this area, anything would be better than spectrum. 0 stars and that will never change. Spectrum is literally the worst cable and internet provider I have ever had. Both the cable and internet cut out regularly and when there are outages due to weather they take an unreasonably long time to restore service
I moved so go a new box I had issues so I went to the Middletown office and Valerie Masterson helped me and fixed everything and gave me an upgrade for a much better price. She is wonderful and definitely gonna go switch my cell service with them and get rid of Verizon cant beat the price. Ty so mucn Valerie Masterson.

Charter/spectrum does not care about customers at all. The customer service agents try hard but are restricted by company policies to actually provide any meaningful service.Services provided by Spectrum fail consistently and there is no other provider in the area so I am stuck with them.Time Warner at least tried and their service was leaps and bounds above what spectrum offers.When spectrum took over from Time Warner they cut service levels and raised the costs and the costs keep rising and the service keeps getting worse.
After being a CUSTOMER for over 30 years I had to DUMP THEM FOR RIPPING OFF PEOPLE. They think it’s ok to LIE to people, and it’s a different lie if you speak to 15 different person.

My internet stopped working and the earliest appointment for service that I was offered was after 10 days. I am an essential worker and mostly finishing my work at home. Called 3-4times, begging to be accommodated with no help. I wish Spectrum had competition in our area, not because, I would have the opportunity to switch services, but to see everyone bending there backs, to satisfy customers in order to stay in business.
Customer service was very nice, but waiting outside in the cold was not. Only 2 people at a time in.

This office is neat and clean. It is run sufficiently, and as quickly as a customers issue allows. There are many agents capable of handling the large amount of customers that go there for business. They work hard to keep the office running smoothly.

The staff there are friendly and helpful. It ends there! I have to constantly call about the internet or mobile issue. Asked for a mobile phone suspension for 6 months.. did no good. Customer Service is awful. Nobody actually does their job, but they always tell you, yeah its taken care of. Ive dealt with them for several years and though the product might be good the service has gone down! Very disappointed! Would not recommend.
My experience was much better than I expected. It was my first time there. You sign in and they have seats for waiting, which is very nice. The women who took care of me was really great. She was knowledgeable, patient and very personable. Im sorry I cant remember for sure, but I think her name was Christy, Christine, something close to that. I had to return a cable box, pay my bill and set up an appointment for service. She did it all very pleasantly, no complaints. So overall my experience was exceptional!! 5 stars!!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Curtis and Emmanuel were AMAZING. Ignore all bad reviews about this place, I’m so impressed with the customer service. They stayed late after closing hours to make sure my phone was up and working. Can’t say thank you enough!

I went to spectrum cable services building because I needed to switch out a cable box for another one because the one I had wasnt working so I put my name into the kiosk waited to be called and was served by a very nice person so I have to say that my overall experience was positive there and grateful that it didnt take me all day to sit there and get anything done.

I recently disconnected my service with Spectrum because I moved. When I spoke to the representative, I was told to mail my equipment back using UPS. I provided my new address when asked, even though I wasnt moving services and its none of their business. Due to the pandemic, I was not supposed to bring the equipment to the store itself, despite it being located only a few minutes from my job. On July 15th, the day after I disconnected my service, I did just that. Today, I visited my old home, an hour away from my new address, and surprise! I have a bill from Spectrum for unreturned equipment. Heres my issues:1. I provided my new address, geniuses. Theyre lucky I even picked up that mail. I was only able to do so because I lived in a home owned by my family.2. I hated Spectrum to begin with. Theyre slow and unreliable and ran a monopoly in the area I previously lived.3. I have a tracking number from UPS. If youre still acclimating to changes caused by the pandemic, revisit your policies and time frames dictated within them.4. Now is not the climate for shotty business practices, in which you try to financially exploit your customers.I thought Time Warner sucked, but Spectrum takes the cake.

Good luck getting your free movie channels of epix and showtime. I have been on hold with spectrum for 90 MINUTES. Those channels arent automatically added for everyone, apparently you have to waste hours on the phone praying someone will answer. What a joke.
Very poor customer service and overall installation process. I was told by the technician who installed my cable that if I purchase a fire stick I did not have to use their cable box. Wrong!! Found that out after purchasing two fire stick.They installed the cable lines and left the cord spread all over my floor. I was tripping over wires. My house looked like someone who stole cable. Due to my just moving and had boxes all over I did not even notice that in my office. When I called them out to correct it they want to charge me another $49.I was given phone service and did not even know I had it. I found that out when my security system told me I needed a phone line. I had a phone line, and a number and had no idea what the phone number was.TALK ABOUT HORRIBLE SERVICE. The unfortunate thing my complex only allows spectrum.however, with my fire stick I notice that I can pay for another cable line. will be definitely trying that.

INTERNET SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. The speed you pay A LOT for is no where near what you get. Lucky if you get 1/5 -1/10 that speed. Overpriced for a bunch of garbage channels.
The worst customer service i was on the phone with them for an three hours trying to get my service restarted. They didn’t process my first original payment and i had to call back so they could process it again. No one knows what they’re doing they transferred me to every department possible and still couldn’t fix what our problem was. I will NEVER use this provider ever again and i hope they go out of business. :)

Service was good but they gave me 2 new boxes and I been on the phone for over a hour and they have to come tomorrow to get one going.
This is place is worst than the DMV. After waiting for God knows how long, the proper thing for customer service agents to do is to greet you and apologize for the wait. They act as if you shouldn’t have come into the store. For anyone dropping off equipment, you must still sign in and wait just as long as someone that may be getting new services. Totally unacceptable, not only are they too understaffed, their organization and customer service management needs to be improved! I am thrilled that I will not be obtaining their services from here on out! High prices for meager internet/cable plans, and below average customer service.
Office staff were helpful but their service techs are so so. Just had installed after quitting Direct TV and had to have 4 different guys come until it was working. Actually am going to have to call again.

One of the worst companies ever. They dont care or even know their own customer base. Ive been with them for a year now and continue to get advertisements on a weekly basis to sign up...and its in Spanish to boot. Plus they robo-call me weekly from a sales call center. I dont answer because it comes up Scam Likely. Indeed. I only know it was them after the fact. I have asked 3x to stop soliciting me as if I was not already a customer. Once I was hung up on. Another time was online and the Pakistani bastard signed off mid conversation. The 3rd time I was assured it would be taken care of to no avail. Im looking into a possible civil suit for harassment. They suck.

I would have given 0 stars if I could have. The absolute worst. Not only are there extremely long wait times for phone calls but they transfer you a million times before you actually get someone who may or may not be able to help you. I am on the phone with them every few months because there is either an internet issue or all of a sudden my bill is messed up with no changes on my end. I wish they would have gotten kicked out of NYS like they were supposed to be. All former Time Warner Cable employees that I know personally that still work for Spectrum hate it and cant wait to retire. I cant say I blame them.

I am so disgusted with the service as I was overbilled for more than 2 yrs for A Cable Box that was returned. I contacted the Billing Dept and Nothing can be done but I have the return receipt and was told that the employee did not enter this in as returned So I discovered this back in April when I went back to a paper statement As I guess its all my fault. I have monitored my bill as long as it was about the same each month when I started DVR service I did not scrutinize the paperless bill. Thank you Time Warner/Spectrum for poor Cable Service and Crappie Customer Service as I am looking for alternative service since you charged for a box that was clearly returned but YOUR OWN EMPLOYEE didnt do her job, Guess Your Company Needs My $300.00 +to rip off other people Im so glad you are Always So Customer Oriented.

Ive been a customer for 5 years now. Obviously there are more important bills then internet and TV. So when i informed their representative on the phone that i get paid tomorrow. The bill was due yesterday and they cant give an extension of 1 day. According to them there is a grace period....what grace period. 12 hours? I look forward to when Google reaches out to New York and i wish Cuomo had the balls to follow through on kicking spectrum out of NY.
ENTOD has not been working for months consistently now. No notifications to customers for outages. Chatting with customer service this week was a nightmare. Cutting off my service today. I will pour the $65 a month I pay to a service worth my time and money.

**FRAUD** They bill for TV services never subscribed to, four times in one year. Customer support says its a mistake with their streaming App, but have no record of anything. Customer support gives you the run around and passes you to other departments, when trying to get refunded. Hours upon hours on hold. We dont even have a TV.
Pleasurable experience
I ever went to the Spectrum store to ask for TV service which costs about $45/month, a worker told me I can cancel it anytime and only charge me according how many days I used, after 4 days I canceled it, but they charge me almost $200, included my $44.99 internet fee. I called to costumer service to ask, and canceled all the services they have given to me without knowing, they reduced some amount, after 3 month, I occasionally checked my bill, I found they still charged me another Tv service for $14.99 which I ever interested in but not conform yet, when I called them again, they said they can not refund me the incorrect charges, what a service!

There was eleven to thirteen people signed in and waiting. Only three people behind the counters working-ish. I say that because I watched one lady call a customer that was next to be served. After he paid his bill, she began the upsell of everything she could. He wasnt having it. She gave him a paper and told him to look her up if he changed his mind. He left. She got up coughed, sprayed the air with I guess disinfectant. Then left never checked out her last customer. My point is that there is this aura of nonchalance. Do clear your schedule and pack a lunch youll be there for a while.
Good programing, but, I dislike the new news format, if I wanted City news Id watch fox, abc, cbs, or nbc. And theyre expensive.

Their pricing is so high we are moving over to Verizon. They said when they became Spectrum pricing would go down but no such thing happened. It just continues to increase. Also, were tired of paying for cell phones for people on welfare. I realize we have to pay this fee no matter what service we use but this is ridiculous. If they want a phone let them get a job like the rest of us who pay our own bills.
I am forced to give a one star when it really should be a big 0 zero . I have had an outage of my service since yesterday around 430 and still I have no internet, no cable, no landline . I have called and spoken to 6 different representatives and still nothing. Their dispatchers say that they have called . No one called me - I have no missed calls . Why bother lying ? My bill is well over 200 a month and this is the crummy service I get . I am disgusted with spectrum . I was told by each customer service rep “someone will be out there today “ . No one ever showed up. Now it’s Sunday and still no one .
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Dont bother trying to speak to a supervisor, theyre just as incompetent as the associates. One hour time frame guarantee turns out not to be guaranteed, the one hour came and went without a technician showing up and then a supervisor told me that hell try to do whatever he can to get someone out today but CANT GUARANTEE ANYTHING. yes you read that right. This company is the biggest scam ever. I started with my internet promotion at $44.99. After the first year I get the promotion price is over. The price then went to $54.99. I’ve had two price increases within the year and now literally paying now $74.99 for literally just internet. That is insane. And then they promise you those speeds of 200 mbps and don’t even get half that. This company is such a joke and wish time Warner cable was back. Customer service is horrible and they never help for nothing. Wish there was another ISP in this area because if there was one I would so leave. I’m just in disbelieve with this company. Hope they get band from NYS already.
QUICK STOP AND GREAT SERVICE
Signed up for television service. I left work early to be home by 230 to be there for the 3p to 4p install time. No one showed up so I called at 530pm. They said the tech made a note that he was here at 402pm and no one was home. Either he went to the wrong house or he is a liar since Ive been sitting in my living room waiting from 230 to 530. Now theres no way he was here. I would have seen him pull in the driveway or the dog would have barked had he knocked or there would have been tire tracks in the snow on the driveway. I told the rep to cancel the installation. How can your installation department operate like that? Shouldnt they call before leaving if they thought I wasnt here? Sounds like an integrity issue on the part of your installers. The rep offered a one time discount of $20 but that was unacceptable. If their customer service is that bad before you get their service, imagine how bad it would be when youre locked in with them.
Long time customer who has just had it. Worst customer service and incredibly over priced for the products they over! Service cuts in and out, slooooow internet speeds and picture comparable to other options. Time to consider other options.
Consistently raising prices without notice. After 30 yrs never offered a break as a long term customer. Therefore, we returned their property and bounced to DISH. Only then did the customer service person want to negotiate the cost. We refused. The main reason turn out not to be the price but the lack of attention given to us at the desk. The service clerk was too busy talking to co workers and therefore couldnt care less. Adios...
If there was a lower star, I wouldve picked that. I absolutely HATE Spectrum and their services. Customer service is nice but not helpful. I wish there was a different provider to choose from but of course Spectrum knows there is no other company available.

Claims to have the best Internet, the Internet it god awful. It cuts out multiple times a day without any warning and has to reboot itself and every day around 9 through 11 the connection is terrible can barely load anything. And if you call and complain theyll tell you the same mumbo jumbo, say its your area or its your modem or its your wiring in your house. Ive lived in 3 different homes with 3 different modems and my new house just got brand new wiring but the same issues persist. Never going with Spectrum again in my life.

Today is 9/17/2017. Waiting til 9/21 Thursday (6 days) for service is unacceptable. You were informed Sunday morning that in less than 2 months that I acquired your cable service, I had to reboot the box 8 times, and now, not only did I have to reboot it this am, but there was no audio. I explained, I am 82 years old and use a walker, so just going across the room to unplug the box to reboot is difficult. Being home alone, no TV for 6 days is not the service I signed up for. Remote on it you can change It to whatever you want. Only reasons I gave it two stars instead of one is because they are the best and only Real internet provider the area

Needed to trade in box which was a Cisco box able to record 6 shows at one time. The Middletown, NY office did not have newer boxes and was given a Samsung box which is older technology as they ran out of Spectrum boxes which is also unacceptable as those boxes can only record 3 shows. When you get used to new technology it is really unfair to the customer. When is Orange County going to get cloud boxes which would have recording restrictions? I feel Spectrum which touted to be a better company not to be the case.
Multiple trips to their store. Multiple techs to the house. Constantly trading in equipment. Thousands of dollars later and I still have terrible internet. Every time I call they tell me that I have the worst package, so I always tell them to upgrade me to the fastest. And every time there is a problem. The speeds are still horrible so I go back only for them to tell me that I have the slowest package. Dealing with them is like living in a Twilight Zone episode. All I want is fast Internet. Why is it so hard? Why are they so incompetent? We need more providers so this corporate scam can be run out of town
Really terrible experience with this company. Made an honest mistake with forgetting to return their equipment and they totally screwed me over by claiming that my call to deactivate my account wasnt on file. They charged me for a month of internet I didnt use and customer service treated me like I was trying to pull a fast one on them when the modem I had was unplugged and deactivated so their service wasnt even being delivered. I wouldnt mind if they charged me just for returning the modem late but making me pay for service that wasnt used is absolutely ridiculous. Also they jack up their prices every month and are extremely overpriced for Internet that is sub par, definitely look for another company if possible.

Bill increases with every statement. Very expensive cost for even the most basic services. Pay a lot for lousy TV. Not impressed with Spectrum......seem worse than Time Warner!
