Disappointing and expensive. Had services cancelled without my knowledge, but continued to be charged the same high rate. Have tried to get it resolved with multiple agents, but just get transferred back and forth. No one is willing to explain or help. If possible USE anyone else.
Located next to the Dollar Tree in the shopping plaza. Cox is a scam artist. All I want is internet. The 150mbps plan is $69. I asked to rent the modem until I get my own modem. I added renting their modem for $10/month. These scammers didnt tell me that the plan automatically includes a $10 customer Complete Care tech support fee - even if you dont want it nor use it. I was blindsided when I saw my first bill for $10 more than I expected. The criminal factor is you cant manually back out of this service; you cant remove it off of your plan. You have to call them to remove it from your plan. Doing so within the first 90 days of your plan could result in a $75 fee! So youre saying I need to pay $10/mo for 3 months before I cancel, or Ill get charged $75? More like Cocks. Your hidden fees are illegal and morally wrong.
The services they provide are massively overpriced and there no other options for cable tv here. They also make very difficult to downgrade - easy to get the services, but just try getting rid of them...

Its not that I hate the place, I hate Cox, they charge outrageous prices for poor service. There are a very few staff that actually know what theyre doing that I have had interaction with including answering service to technicians on phone and some that come to house as well as the people that call to smooth over dissatisfied customers.I can tell you nightmares about this company. I cant wait to get my name OFF their customer list!!!
I was on cloud 9 when I turned in my equipment to Cox! This company is terrible and takes enormous advantage of its loyal customers of 20 plus years by continuously raising rates while providing sub par service. The funny thing is that they do not even care when you cancel. Cox Communications should not be allowed to function as the monopoly they are. They are fleecing people of their money and they are starting to get extremely rude and pushy about it. I am so glad to be done with them!
Always able to Solve my problems. Have changed a couple of boxes. And had my bill reduced at the same time. Great service.

The gentleman at the store was very helpful. When we needed to call a week later about follow-up, we ended up in the endless phone loop others have also complained about. Individual employees are delightful, but the Company itself seems to have set systems up to frustrate its current customers.

Absolutely Terrible Service and CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! they dont even know what customer service is. I am constantly troubleshooting something cable, internet, phone even. If you have other cable/internet services to chose from in your area definitely dont chose Cox. I even have it where I work and we have troubles all the time there too. And if a error happens and its their fault, well tuff luck!!! There are so many streaming options now like Hulu, Netflix etc. I would recommend just getting a good internet service instead and stay away from cable, Cox Cable!!!
Everybody for cox buisness that has to do with sales, tech support needs to be fired immediately. Horrible dont even deserve half a star or a paycheck!
Terrible phone service. You should simply be able to speak with a human being about whether or not you can drop off a piece of equipment without having to be routed and re-routed through this auto attendant service.

In 7 months, I only had one outage. I was able to return the devices back when I canceled service due to moving hassle free.

If youre unlucky enough to live in Newport, Rhode Island and be OBLIGATED to license Cox as a provider, my sincere apologies. Not only is the internet spotty at best, the channel packages a sad rip off, but the customer service and install technicians are the poster for american GED dead-end incompetence. Ruined my rug and wall on the install, showed no remorse, and the manager tried to tell me it was my fault for asking for the install. Comcast, weee neeeeed youuu.
