I just had Clean as a Whistle Delaware do a deep clean of my home for the first time today. They were prompt and responsive to my inquiry for an estimate, arrived on time and took a quick tour of the home. When Darcy told me Nicky would send me an estimate for the deep clean, weekly, biweekly and monthly rates, I could not have imagined it would have been within 1/2 hour. By the end of the day I had booked a deep clean for the following week and biweekly cleanings after that. I came home to a nice clean house today for a fair and reasonable price. They came within the timeframe expected and left cute little personal touches-handwritten card and decorative toilet paper now ties in the bathroom. A+ for the day Clean as a Whistle! Now I’m retired and that feeling hasn’t changed! Dana and her crew come in, do their jobs, chat a little with us, and then they are on their way. I love it! Gives me time to be retired and do fun stuff, not clean the bathrooms and floors!! Highly recommend them!

We’ve been using Clean As A Whistle for a year and a half now and could not be happier. They’re very flexible with our schedule with everyone being at home for school and work. Ladies are always on time, very efficient and professional. Kids love seeing their company car pull up and the notes they leave when theyre done. Darcy and her crew clean my office and home biweekly. The owner texts me the day before each cleaning with a cleaning window and the crew arrives as stated. They do a thorough cleaning and are always pleasant/professional when they are working. Nikki is always responsive to my text messages and remembers special requests I have made for my next cleaning. She even contacted me recently about canceling a cleaning because she knew my office had just been cleaned and we would not be using it for 2 weeks. She clearly was not overly concerned with just making money on my cleanings. My suggestion to anyone who is hiring a cleaning company...when they come to discuss your cleaning plan...be very specific about what you want. Tell them exactly how you want your home cleaned and what final result you expect when they are finished. I did this with Clean As A Whistle and I am very pleased each cleaning.

All I can say is, wow, what an amazing cleaning business! Dana and her crew clean my mom’s house and leave it sparkling every time. I applied for a position with the company as a cleaner. The manager asked me to do a working interview. I said work full time . She said to call out . I asked if it was a paid day . She said yes. I went in & Filled out all the paperwork .. I worked with a group of 4, me included. We did 6 houses in approx 8 hrs. The last house was a deep clean . In my opinion, I wouldn’t justify that as a “deep clean at all “ ! many things were missed .So I get home and the manager texted me and said they are moving forward, which was fine with me . Not very professional anyways.. I must have heard the F word 6-7 times that day in the car from the lead person. I missed a day of work to work for FREE. My back was killing me from wearing a vacuum around my neck and I have a disability called Chiari malformation of the brain .. I am not supposed to use these things ! I was never even asked if there was as anything I could not do . My neck hurt for days afterwards for no money!

Clean As A Whistle Delaware was amazing from start to finish! They were able to get us in for a deep clean on our new home the day and time frame we needed with no problems. Response times were great with services, quote, appointment and any/all questions we had. Jackie & her team showed up exactly when they said they would and cleaned the house so well you would never know that the day before 2 dogs and 2 long haired cats had lived there for the past 15 years! It was also so great that they brought every single thing they would need to clean our home as we literally had just gotten in to the house that morning. Services i have used in the past required the use of some of your cleaning supplies and vaccum. We will use them in the future for any cleaning needs we have and will reccomend them everyone i know!

My husband was sick earlier last year and my friend hired clean as a whistle to clean the house while I stayed with him in the hospital, as a gift. I tried cleaning myself but my knees and back are going out. I was so happy for the gift but when I returned home later that night after they cleaned the house, so many things were missed and it was almost as if they didnt really clean the house at all. The floor was still very dirty, countertops were still dirty, toilets and floors in the bathrooms were dirty too. My friend asked about the cleaning and I told her that I was grateful for the gift, but that I almost couldnt tell that house cleaners were even there. So she contacted the owner, and got a very bad attitude from the female owner. They didnt offer to come back or offer any sort of refund. They never apologized or tried to make it right in any way. I feel so bad that my friend wasted her money, and had to deal with the nasty owner. I am appalled at the way this cleaning company does business. Ive never hired a house cleaning service before, but this has certainly given the industry a bad name.

Horrible. Spent $260.00 for a deep clean and after inspection, didnt even get what was promised in a general clean. They offered to come back - not interested because of the many many issues - they should have done what they promised to start with. I wrote a letter and got no response yet they cashed my check without bothering to contact me to discuss it further - apparently they do not care about customer service so I am doing a review.What a disappointment. This was not a deep clean - not even a general clean. $260.00 down the drain and now I have to look for another cleaning company and repay to have the house deep cleaned again.Photos: my grandaughter after crawling around the day after the deep clean - and they claim they deep cleaned the floors. They certainly didnt get down on hands and knees.The deep clean includes cleaning the windows - as you see windows not cleaned. I have had amazing experiences since I started using Clean As A Whistle almost a year ago. They are friendly, prompt, responsive and do a fantastic job cleaning my house. The personal touches and friendly notes they leave show that they go the extra mile. An added bonus is that they are great with my dog! I was hesitant at first when contemplating having someone come clean my house, but Clean As A Whistle has proven to have been the best choice for us. They are bonded, insured and the team arrives in a marked vehicle.

This is a very unprofessional company for a number of reasons. My wife and I have had extremely pleasant prior experiences with other cleaning services (in past homes), but with Clean as a Whistle I dont even know where to begin. Initially, the woman handling the schedule tried to collect payment in full prior to any services rendered. That was the first red flag. The crew then showed up 25 minutes late (in which case my wife had to take time off of work to be present) and after leaving we noticed there was damage to our drywall near our front foyer. When attempting to contact them regarding this issue, we were forced to leave several messages and it took several days to hear back. Of course they denied any wrongdoing. Nothing was done about his, so we were forced to make the repair ourselves. We learned our lesson. Do NOT recommend!
