Ive been going to Arthurs Barber Shop since I was a boy. In fact, my sons have been the 4th generation to get their hair cut here. It is now ran by Arthurs son, Anthony. He is very detail oriented. Its usually walk on only, but with the covid-19 you need an appointment. Anthony cleans everything in between appointments. A cut is $20. I will continue to go as often as I need for a long time to come

Old fashioned barber shop with father & son (Arthur & Anthony) for many years now and many many years prior with Arthur. Very pleasant atmosphere. A little wait now that its just Anthony but he couldnt be more polite & respectful if he tried. Truly miss Arthur but Anthony will continue to hold dear all the things that made Arthur the man everyone wanted to see. Arthur will continue to be a presence in the little shop he was so proud of and in the son he was proud to do business with

Nice guy. My wife really liked the way he cut my hair too. But I am never going back. Why you ask? The incredible time sink to simply get your hair actually cut. The owner does not make appointments. This leads to you driving by and hopefully no one is there (which I did for the last few weeks) - or waiting up to hours (two hours burned today before my time ran out- without a hair cut). Both are poor solutions. If you are retired or you can burn time, then go for it. If your time is important to you, then avoid the frustration.

Anthony is about as polite as you can get. He has a huge following and I wont go anywhere else. I bring my son to get his haircut also. Great haircuts, definitely worth the wait. Highly recommended

The Barber, Anthony, does an awesome job and I have never left there unsatisfied. I didnt give Authurs a full 5 star only because of the excessive wait time, usually about an hour, but is worth it. Just bring something to read or do.

Classic barber shop experience, a fantastic cut everytime at a very fair price.Update: Went for my appointment today and to my disappointment after 3 weeks of anticipation after a long quarantine of hair growth, the appointment I scheduled with Tony was never recorded and I was never able to get my cut. Needless to say, I can no longer use there barbershop.. With weeks of wait for an appointment that works like a lottery system?? Its just not worth it especially in desperate times. A few buddies of mine have been seeing a barber in Newington who gives a great cut also who I will be seeing from now on.Bonus: my new barber doesnt make you where a mask when you get a cut - I have much more respect for a business owner who thinks and acts on his own than one that thinks and acts based on what hes told. And thats the type of small business owner I want to be doing business with.
