Great environment, everyone in there is really nice. but if you are going to get any kind of design i don’t reccomend coming here. they’re great at shaping and painting base colors but the designs usually don’t look good. kim gave me a really bad manicure (first pic) but i went back in and mike gave me a new design (2nd pic) and was very understanding and nice. i also saw lexi for a flame design one time (3rd pic), it was alright. i’ll come back for plain colors but will need to find a new place for nail art.

The people are all very nice and the place is nice so it was nothing like that. But I paid $43 for just gel polish plus tip, so not even a manicure.. but I had a manicure 3.5 weeks prior at another place (and that gel lasted up until then)and I didn’t need another mani yet. Anyways, this polish started lifting 3 days after getting it done. That’s probably the soonest I have ever had it happen. I’ve had gel start peeling fast but not that fast and not multiple nails. Super unhappy with the quality and the amount of money for 3 days. I didn’t get a chance to go back in because it’s so far and my schedule is crazy. So I’m leaving a review in hopes they switch up whatever they’re doing. Because it’s not working.

Got gel polish for a medi/pedi and it is suppose to last at least 2 weeks.The polish completely peeled off my nail within three days. When I called and spoke to the manager (Michael) I was told that they only lasted for two days and he cant do anything about it.

I would definitely recommend this place Mike is great and Paige who did my pedicure is amazing I suffer from arthritis in my knees and was starting to have trouble with them when she got to painting them. and for the last part she put me in a Regular chair and sat on the floor to finish the job!!! I will definitely make the 45 min drive back next time I need my nails done!

I have been going here for a year and Kim never disappoints. She does great with eyelash extensions. I always get so many compliments on how natural my lashes look.

I went in as a walk in a week and a half ago to get a full set of acrylics. I was please at first but then within 3 days all of the nails started lifting & i just had one fall off. I paid a decent amount for this set & i am very disappointed with the outcome. Will not be going back.

I paid $40 for a pedicure just for ALL of the nail polish on my toes to be gone 2 days later. i also got my daughter nails & toes painted at the same time which started chipping the next day. the only good thing was the full set i got done. a total of $160 & only 60 of it was of any quality. definitely not returning

I got my eyelashes done they look so natural and they last a long time its definitely worth the money and time....

I got my nails done which took 3 hrs and they did designs that fell apart soon as I left the shop. They cut me trying to cut my cuticles. And didnt polish my full nails on my toes. I went back to complain and they said they would fix it for me but charged me full price. This is what I call poor customer service. Ive been and off and on customer for years but now I see why I always have to find another shop.

I’ve been a client for over 20 years. Although I’ve moved away I still drive the 30 minutes to see Mike and Kim. They are good talented hardworking people. I can’t say enough good things about this nail salon. Try the pedicure services. Excellent.

I came in not ever hearing about this place I just came in based off of the GOOD reviews I have read. I almost didn’t go in because of how many bad reviews I read, I will say I already had a full set done at another salon and needed a fill. When I came in my nails were NOT coffin shaped, like I wanted. They were rounded off and the acrylic was too thick (THIS WORK WAS DONE PRIOR MY VISIT AT ANOTHER SALON). Kim is the lady that did my fill in at this salon and I left COMPLETELY satisfied. I will say I noticed one nail was crooked and she fixed it without any problems. I recommend this place 🥰

First time trying this nail salon and it will be my last! I have longer natural nails that I usually get a dip over. I asked if a natural looking American (pink & white) could be dipped and I was assured that it could. I asked multiple times because I was adamant that I wanted it to look natural.The woman who did my nails was very nice and pleasant but never seemed too interested in what I was asking for.The result was very rough edged, super unevenly thick, cartoon colored Lee press-on looking nails! They were bright white on the unevenly sized tips and a cotton candy colored pink on the bottoms. My cuticles were awful looking too.I said nothing to them. I wanted to get out as fast as I could. She had already taken an hour and 45 minutes to make this mess. So over $50 later, I went right to another nail salon and had them redone to the correct, natural look.Nice people. Not nice work. Seems to do what they want and not what you ask for.

Great quality work! My nails usually never break and I usually have a minimum of 3 weeks in between visits. Friendly nail techs!

Very upset. I spent $80 today and am super unhappy with the work I got done. I understood they were busy but I felt like he went fast and didnt take time on my full set... they are all different shapes and the polish is sloppy. The polish color is also not what I thought it would be. After Mike finished my nails I sat and got my toes done and looked at my fingers closer... I really wanted them redone. Im a super shy person and rarely complain about anything... but being as its my baby shower tomorrow I wanted cute nails. I told the receptionist I didnt want to cause any problems but I was spending so much I wanted to leave happy! She said when mike was finished with his current customer he would fix mine. I waited there 40 minutes for him to finish with his other client and then he tells me it would be an extra $20 to change them. I was shocked... I couldnt afford it and had to leave. Brought me to tears! $80 of my hard earned money down the drain. With Mike being the owner of the store, I thought I would be treated differently. My first experience here was awesome... thats why I went back. Im very disappointed.

I have never experienced a gel mani and pedi freely lift and peel. My appointment was eight days ago and there is little evidence of receiving service. Leaving with gel on my cuticles was a red flag. Yes, cuticles were still present despite receiving a manicure.The staff was sweet, but service and/or product needs attention. $100+ is the most I have ever paid for a “basic” gel mani/pedi in Dayton, Ohio. Also, I realize that up-selling is simply part of the service industry but the owner was relentless, bordering combative, while pitching random products and services. It was awkward.Tomorrow I will go to one of the salons I typically visit, spend 25% less and receive 100% better results.

Nail tech didnt give me a full manicure (I assumed he was passing it on to the woman who did my manicure), and he was obviously in a rush. One of my gel nails is already showing a crack. Nail tech who did my pedicure was too rough, she stabbed me in the toe. Ive been to MK before and had a very good experience, but yesterdays visit was awful. Definitely dont go anywhere near closing time.

I came here because of all the great reviews. Im not sure why I got such terrible service. I wanted a full set, squared, medium length.... I got a full set, thin, rounded and very short. I was upset but still paid for it and even tipped him $10!!! Which I never do... Then 3 days later my non dominant left thumb nail broke right across the corner. I went back and told him he made them too thin, it got fixed free of charge. Now a week later and my polish is coming off and another nail has broken. This place is terrible and the staff are rude.

My friend and I came in an hour before closing and when we walked in we were very rudely told that they were closed. I mentioned that online it said they closed at 8 and it was only 7 and the guy interrupted me and told me no, we close when were done. We drove 35 minutes to come get our nails done because we had heard such great things and Im really disappointed. As a woman whose been getting nails done for over 10 years and at a variety of salons I have never been treated so poorly. If they are going to close whenever they feel like it then that needs to be said online as well.

I waited forever and went out of my way to get my eyebrows waxed here since it was the first and only salon I trusted when I moved here a year ago. Last time I got my eyebrows done they looked decent but this time not only did the girl mess them up, but the entire experience was garbage. She was so careless while waxing me that she pulled several of my hairs out of my head (and then didn’t apologize or acknowledge it at all). She made one of my eyebrow arches significantly higher than the other, and she had clearly just eaten before I came in because her breath smelled like stale coffee and her fingers smelled like sour cream and onion chips. How are you going to be working on somebody’s face and blowing in their face and everything and not have fresh breath or clean hands? I am so disgusted and I will never be back.

They were nice. It was comfortable. Massage should have been longer since I paid for the most expensive pedicure. Prices are better than some but still too expensive.

I came to this salon for a quick pedicure to try a new place instead of my usual salon of 7 years. Kim did my pedicure and it was painful. She cut my big toenail so low you could see the pink!! I told her it was CUT TOO LOW and not to file it and what did she do, she filed right on it!! I don’t care if she is good at eyebrows or whatever else this salon is clearly low quality with technicians that don’t know what they are doing. Yes, they are nice but I would rather my pedicure be nice and not painful! I have not been back and will not be back. I feel sorry for anyone who gets their nail services here, you clearly do not know nail fashion. Sorry. I would try almost any other salon around here and could find better quality service that’s not painful.

Horrible. Went with daughter. She got manicure and pedicure, I got new set of nails and pedicure. We were there over 3 hours. Asked for regular pedicures but charged for most expensive one (which was very lacking). Total price was $160.00. Would not be so bad, except both pedicures were peeling by the 3rd day and 2 of my nails have broken by day 4. New to the area, but will never return and will let everyone I know, know about this horrible experience. I am not one to complain, but this was just robbery. Only gave 1 star because there was no other option lower.

Really nice staff, the dude was very friendly. however, my nails were clumpy as he used too much acrylic powder and he didn’t cover my whole nail, he missed the sides with the powder. i didn’t want gel and he gave it to my anyways and charged me $10. my nails started coming off 3 days later and they were uneven. he put the plastic tips on sideways. he also got polish all over my cuticles and didn’t even paint my whole nail!

Let me just say I was nervous to walk into the place as a burly guy. I shoved my insecurities to the side and just went for it. Got a full pedicure and manicure by an older woman, not sure of her name. She was a champ. I had 30 years of damage to my hands and feet never properly taken care of. I left there feeling amazing and the work she did on my hands and feet was nothing short of a miracle. Ill be going back monthly from now on!

I came into MK for a pedicure.Kim told me about footlogix pedicuticals, said it last your pedicure longer and makes your feet soft of all dry skin, I was pleased and will do again!!!

First time customer and they seemed friendly. She (assuming owner) asked me what I wanted and I told her. She asked me several times before the nail tech started if i wanted gel and i told her no thanks. The nail tech repeatedly told me that gel is better and lasts longer and she asked several more times. I said no every single time. There could not have been any misunderstandings at all. When I went to pay they told me she had used gel and that it would be $10.00 extra dollars . I paid it anyways and told them that I had told her and the nail tech that isnt what I wanted several times each. The design, which was a letter on each finger nail, was completely off center and different sizes.

I will not go back here and dont recommend it. I forever and then the guy that did my nails acted like he didnt know what he was doing or what gel powder was and I spent about 30 minutes trying to explain to him before we got started. Then he kept trying to get me to let him cut all my real nails off and put fake ones on. The entire time he was pretending he didnt know what he was doing and asking me what to do next. He did a really bad job on my nails and theyre uneven, I told him to cut them a tiny bit shorter and he cut almost my whole nail off and he overcharged me way too much for what he did.

Mike and Kim are the absolute best around. I drive approximately 30 minutes, passing other nail shops to make sure I have the best!!! Mike and Kim thank you....

Though pleasant people to accompanied by, the quality of work is horrific. I called ahead to insure they had shellac after being told yes, I arrived to completely different answer. I decided to go ahead with the SNS but, that was a mistake. I showed my nail tech a photo and she said she could do it! Wrong! Not only did she cut my nails shorter then I had asked but, they are also really uneven. My nails have bumps all over them (they look like the bill on a platypus). To top off the horrendous experience, I feel like I walked out of there with more color on my skin then my nail. Never will I go there again!!!

Had a full set with gel today I am a first time customer and I am very pleased. Finally a place that can shape nails. Theyre evenly rounded, not thick and bulky. I will definitely be coming back.

I got a full set with gel polish and the surface of my nails had dips all over them, was not smothe at all. I made an appointment to have them fixed they told me it was because of the polish. All they did was put a top coat on them. They told me thats all they could do without me paying more. My nails are still not fixed. Very unhappy with this service especially because I paid $55 for nails I wasnt satisfied with since day one. I do not recommend this place at all .

I went here twice. The first time i got a call mid way from my boss asking me to come to work. So i thought the rush job was due to that. But when i went thd second time i was not at all happy. It looked like i had done my own nails. They looked horible. Bumpy. Not professionally done at all.

This was probably the most unprofessional nail salon I have ever been to. First, the lady I was with said she SPECIALIZED in nail design. She couldnt even do a simple design on my ring finger. My typical 40 minute polish change changed into a 2 hour ordeal. She also used no tools to get the previous gel off of my nails, just her nasty long finger nails. Do you know how bad that hurts?!? Not to mention she was on her phone too. It was just unbelievable that I paid FULL PRICE after my terrible service. I could have done a better job and I have no experience in doing nails. Moral of my rant, DO NOT GO HERE. THEY ARE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Oh and dont run your card as debit, or else they will literally SMACK YOUR HAND AND YELL AT YOU. I am utterly disgusted that someone gave this place a good review. They dont have customer service or quality standards.

My pedi was done horribly by a nail tech that made me bleed 3 times while attempting to do my nails. None of the instruments look like they were sanitized. My blood was blotted off with the used cotton ball. My gel mani came off in 4 days. I went back and they redid it for free. Then it came off again 2 days after that. I was told they lasted for 2 weeks.

Completely unhappy!! I got a gel mani/pedi and I even brought a picture of what I wanted. The technician whose name was Kim, was in a horrible mood and did not talk at all. I paid $140.00 and when I got out to my car and saw how horrendous my nails looked I marched right back in. Kim tried, I guess, to fix it, but still looks nothing like what I wanted. I will NEVER go to this place again! I didnt get any of my money back, but I didnt ask. Buyer beware of this salon!!

Ended up at urgent care with a toe infection 2 days after stopping here for a pedicure while in town for work. I’ve been getting regular pedicures for 15+ years and never had anything like this happen. Doctor had to drain the infection it was so bad, and I’m on antibiotics for the next 10 days. Also had a gel manicure done - it was sloppy work.
