I was legally parked with a residential parking permit, and this company stole my vehicle and refuses to release it without payment after illegaly towing.

Lacking customer service & compassion. They told me my notarized letter was fake even thought it very much wasn’t. They’ll say anything and do anything to steal more of your money. If your car, got towed, I’m sorry that it was by this company because boy are they lacking all types of human compassion and understanding.

In this century I do not understand how there is no law for these businesses Ladornes and their employees who in one way or another enter properties to tow cars and many times they do not report it (theft) hahaha and when you call to ask for information the deal is disgusting innocent are they.

High fees, ridiculous clauses to prevent you from picking up your vehicle smoothly. All in all, if your car is in their possession, the responsibility is your own. What can you do? :)

Roadway Towing Recovery & Transportation Inc. Fraudulent, Rude, and Unresponsive!! My vehicle was damaged and they tried to cover the damage up by placing my vehicle in another parking spot and taking pictures of it to make it seem like the damage was already there while performing there routine pictures.

Horrible people at a sketchy location who dont care about you or your vehicle. Work with police to tip each other off to tow you faster or get a ticket faster. Hells to nice for these souls...

They unlawfully towed my truck from the front of my own home. The animal who towed it damaged the rear bumper. I will take them to court. this company is a scam.

Unlawfully towed my car where there was no tow sign posted anywhere supposedly for obstructing traffic which was not my car was parked along a wall where plenty of other cars were parked. Staff very rude and unprofessional especially the girl that was there. So do not recommend at all

By far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. This place will not allow you to speak with a manager nor give you a managers name. If you try and ask for a copy showing why your car was towed they will not provide it. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM, highly suggest to contact the cops instead of even dealing with them. Unpleasant with any towing service. The city is corrupted and greedy. Restaurant owners and workers need customers. Not towing services for the greedy. Customer should enjoy restaurant and bars and not worried about having their vehicles towed by roadway or by the City of Miami Police department. But its okay we the people who get to vote for our officials. We could also shut down businesses at will to keep the city from making money at the expense for those who do things lawfully.

Unlawfully towed a vehicle. Local police offer spoke to them and told them specifically to not charge any fees and release the vehicle. When we arrived they suddenly forgot the conversation they had with the police officer and charged for the vehicle.

The most unprofessionalPeople I have ever meet. My son’s car was towing away. The car is under his dad name. They did it let my son take the care even with a copy of his dad drivers license, the car’s title. They requested a motorized permission to pick up the car. His dad is traveling and has poor internet connection, they’re answer was that is not their problem so they hijacking the car until my son is able to get a letter motorized and in the mid time they can charge you for the days the car is there. No smart people in this place.

Roadway probably has one of the largest fleet of tow trucks in the City of Miami, you will see their trucks everywhere.They have flatbed trucks, integrated trucks, maybe wheel lift trucks, and the fleet is pretty new.So if you need a tow in the city they are probably always less than 30min away.The biggest problem with Roadway is that they work for the City of Miami, more importantly the Miami Parking Authority, and they are usually working against you.Its never nice to go get your vehicle after it was unwillingly taken by a towing company, and companies like Roadway feel like they need to go out of their way to ensure you have an unpleasant experience.They dont accept credit cards (probably because charge backs), and things get significantly worst if the car is a fleet vehicle or something that isnt under your name.Just try your best not to get towed, Roadway and Miami Parking Authority used to come to my neighborhood every 2hrs, so everyone on my street is familiar with this duos antics. Highly unethical. They keep making you run around for more paperwork and jump through hoops to extend the time your car stays with them and they can charge you. Not COVID or healthy friendly. No sanitization after customers. No temperature checks. Not allowed to use the rest room. They make you sweat it out with groups of people outside in a dust laden corridor. They do not enforce mask wearing. They keep changing what they ask from you. They do not accept credit card. Beware right outside is a tow away zone.

This company allowed a young girl to be stuck in a busy clubbing area by herself alone. Paid for parking and was the last car that could fit in the parking zone. Barely stuck back a little so the car in front of me could get out and not hit the front of my car. The car is in my dads name and he lives over 2 hours away. They wouldn’t let me pick up my car even with the owner calling with all vehicle info including the vin which could only be known if you’re the owner.

The property is impressive. Lots of employees in uniforms and all areas are well lit. They have a pretty lobby, nice benches, and expensive looking computers. They are in the business of making money off people and business is BOOMING.I called ahead to make sure they had my car. I also asked about any required documentation I should take. But they conveniently failed to tell me I needed to bring my title in order to get my car. Ended up having to pay $90 in surge rates for Uber. Inconsiderate af. 3 hours later we had our car. Had it been more than 6 hours, they would’ve charged us more. Evil.When I got there, five different people were in the lobby trying to get their cars. Somehow none of us were able to get it on the first try. I don’t think this was a coincidence.Fyi, they only accept cash and debit. I think it’s probably because they don’t want us to dispute charges.The front-desk guy says mam/sir and sorry a lot but he’s not friendly. He was very quick to say “next” after we stood there shocked that we couldn’t just pay and get our car.Tow companies suck but this one is a level below an already terrible class.

Very unprofessional workers. The girl at the front was the most unsympathetic person to the guy in front of us who was practically begging for help. All I can say is karma is coming for her. Make sure you ask them four times all the things you need in order to get your car just to make sure. I learned something new every time I spoke with someone.First, the guy said I needed the original letter from the registered owner of the car to release the car to me. He said it couldn’t be a copy or faxed or email, it had to be the original document and he even suggested she fed ex it overnight. I then called later to find out what needed to be on the document, and a miss told me I could do the whole process online, get it notarized at notarize.com and that I COULD email her and that’s all I needed. I have been back and forth all day and now at 1:40 am, I have everything that I needed, I find out I need a copy of the drivers license of the registered owner too, because a notarized letter isn’t enough. I now have to wait more time and get charged more. I was on hold three times today and got hung up on twice, having to call and wait again. It’s all a scam with the city.

I called to Pay by Phone because in the area where i was there are not any indication for the company who makes the towing so the attention for call center is very very bad. Directly in the campany the explained to me who it happened so im conform with this. Of course a bad experience but it was my fault. =(

Excellent service, Aura and Adriana were incredible with helping me with the release of the vehicle it was efficient, yes I know that I made a mistake in parking but they made the whole process simple and no hassle. The staff was under pressure and stressed with all the people coming in, however they kept their composure and treated me with respect and dignity. There was a damage on the car but they fixed it and helped and took care of any additional charges.Incredible service despite the line of work they are in.

NO one likes there car towed and my review is only based on the driver and the parking ticket agent. I gave 4 stars because the City of Miami employ was a bit rude and lied that guy gets 0 stars. BUT the tow truck Driver Chris was helpful polite and let me pay to let my car down. I do feel like the City of Miami should do a better job at properly marking the streets.

This company is a total scam. I paid the metor and was within my alloted time. I came back 2 minutes before my time was up and my car was gone. Upon arriving to the facility I was denied my request to speak with a supervisor by JP1013. He said no supervisors would be in until morning. He did not allow me to record the conversation. My husband wasnt even allowed to enter the room with me. I felt like they didnt allow him in to intimate me. To make matters worse, they only allow payment by debit card or cash. They obviously do this on purpose so people dont dispute this with their credit card companies. Also, they didnt allow me to have paper copies of their initial report. Nothing about this company seems legitimate

Rude and incompetent employees!

This company initially had me waiting for a towing service with a one hour estimate. After the hour, they said 30 minutes 4 additional times. This resulted in a total wait time of 3 hours, by which time I no longer needed a towing service, as the place I was headed for repairs was closing. They should not lie about time and status. Transparency and honesty are integral to running a worthwhile company. No integrity here.

I called to get a price for towing and asked how much per mile and they said they have a flat rate and when divided it comes out to $29 per mile.They are crooks. The service was terrible. The process from beginning to end was a complete and utter disappointment. The tow truck drivers obviously do not know how to handle their vehicles or care for the owners and the front desk personnel were rude, inattentive, and unclear with explaining what proof was needed. It was a total confusion thanks to the misguiding information that was given. You can say they avoided answering questions and they “beat around the bush”. The most disappointing and discouraging part about the entire thing was that the supervisor did not once show any interest in addressing the problem and stood back without a care in the world. Very unprofessional and distasteful truly a disgrace.

These people are the most unprofessional and sneaky scam artists there is. They come up with fake nonsense rules so you can’t pickup your car. They add hidden penalties and fees and make it impossible for you to actually retrieve your own vehicle. This should be investigated by the police. I’ve been towed multiple times but haven’t seen this kind of fraud before.

1 Star is generous for this place. Running what looks like an organized operation but does not follow procedure. They stood over me and my vehicle when I was retrieving my registration (mind you they had my car blocked in by another car) as if I would be able to get in & drive away. One individual at the window is not efficient so expect a long wait in the small lobby to pay & retrieve your car.

Currently on hold over the phone for over 30 minutes - highly unprofessional company. How and why they have a contract with the city of Miami seems to be a sort of corruption. Avoid if possible. Shame on the city and the parking authority. These are why government agency’s have such low approvals from the residents they are designed to help and protect.

They gave my car to my ex-husband. I was awarded the car in our divorce settlement but they refused to give the car to me even though I have the court order. When I went to retrieve my car, they spoke to me like I was a criminal. Now my car is two states away and I am paying attorney fees to get it back. The car should have never been towed to begin with.

My sons car was towed from the courthouse, mind you hes a security guard there. His car is not in great condition, its missing the front bumper etc. Theres a plastic cover under the engine which was not damaged and now it was. This went on for a few until one of the employees, young kid with black rimmed glasses decided to point his finger touching the glass saying that my son looked dishonest. I then shared a few words with him and told him that he was only saying that from behind the glass which is what a coward does. My review is that the owner needs to hire folks who are professional. I would never have this company tow my car not even in an emergency. I would rather call another company from another county if need be.

Honestly two stars because the people who work there were nice but that’s it. My car was there for like two hours, illegally tow, I was at mass. The distance between the church and towing place was 2.6 miles, I was charged 150 dollars, hook up fee of 120 and 30 dollars on mpa. It was Easter, Sunday waste of day.

So, I parked in a forbidden place Calle 8. My mistake. I dont live in Miami. They towed my rented vehicle and they damaged the a plastic part on the bumper, I paid the money, but they never told me about it. I realized about damages later that day. I returned the vehicle to the rent a car hoping they dont see the damages and charge me more. These people dont know what they are doing.

These people are crooks. Illegally towed my car from a paid and legal spot. Part of the Miami towing mafia. Very much dislike and will see them in court.

This company routinely breaks the law. I was towed and ticketed, but I didnt know about the ticket until weeks later when a late notice came in the mail from the city. This means they towed me, saw a ticket on my dash, illegally removed it, and failed to inform me about it. Had to pay for the tow and the ticket, which doubled in amount because payment was late. Shady losers with sorry lives who prey on those they know cant retaliate. Im $200 poorer but Id gladly pay thousands of times that amount to not have their lives. Miserable pieces of garbage.

There is a person who answers the phone and talks to people in a condescending manner. They towed my car because the time expired and I didnt pay it on time. Not only did Miami police give a ticket, they had this company tow the car. Obviously, I did deserve the ticket, but to tow the car within an hour of the paybyphone time expiring is excessive and harsh. We wont ever go near the Wynwood area again for entertainment and strongly advise not to take the chance parking your car in the area.
