I worked here years ago... started as lifeguard and worked my way up i recreations. As an employee I vaule the time I had there, and I loved seeing the freedom we gave challenged adults while maintaining a safe and monitored environment for them. Im very pleased to see they are still open and providing valuable care to those who value it.

As a client who stays there I can tell you first hand if your in a behavioral group home they could care less about you if youre court ordered to be there! I was trying to get unsupurvised in visits with my parents (Only) through the courts. I was told the treatment team needs to reccomend it or the court wont approve it. MACTOWN Treatment team says the opposite that its up to the courts to decide legal matters. Ive been in limbo like this for 3 years of excellent behavior while other clients whom will not be named to protect their rights act out and are granted same privilleges thus rewarding bad behavior in a misguided attempt to calm the clients... It wont let me leave a zero star review so I leave the least amount of stars I am able to as some one who lives here! Also other reviews by disgruntled staff signify the norm for how they treat their workers who I give a shout out to for making the best of a bad situation and helping us as best as they can!

Absolutely TERRIBLE employers. I caught COVID from working in a house. They paid me to stay home because it’s THE LAW. Nobody had contacted me for several weeks. One morning I woke up to a letter in the mail saying I have “abandoned my job” and ignored phone calls. I have called my phone provider and they have not traced a single phone call OR email from MACTown letting me know to come back to work. Not to mention, I have never missed a shift or have been late. They do not deserve good employees They have done this with SEVERAL EMPLOYEES AND FIRED MY MANAGER! They have too many lies up their sleeves and try to put blame on others. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS COMPANY!!!

Terrible place to work .. they don’t pay on time.They use you where ever they can have you doing other jobs that require a pay increase. If something happens on that behave they won’t have your back at all .. The pay don’t match the work and no benefits

Horrible place to work, disrespectful. Unprofessional and on the first paycheck didnt receive until much later in the month. Clients are great. Upper management needs to be improved immediately. I have all the proof I need to back it up. I promise!
