I have been at the gym for over 6 months and I couldn’t be happier with the choice of joining Evolution. Not only do all the coaches having an immense amount of experience but they cater to all their students and will go out of there way to help them. Absolutely love this gym. Teaches solid fundamentals of stand up and ground game. Everyone there has a great attitude, both students and instructors. Facility is clean and well kept.

On the day of promotion, two months in, i had a death in the family and could not take my son to class that day . EVOLUTION MMA DOES NOT allow make up for promotion. My son is heartbroken, again. CAUTION, Evolution MMA requieres 6 months of payment before canceling.As a single mom of two, i put in a lot of effort to keep my kids happy and doing what they love. I thought this school was a little more empathetic. On the contrary...No empathy, no chances, no character. Id rather gift them the 6 months worth and have my son in another martial arts school. I told them i would rather pay them out and, as expected, they were content with it....says a lot about there true motives with our children. Not saying that they are bad, i just would NEVER RECOMMEND

This was my first time joining any MMA class/gym. I got to say I felt very welcome from the get go. Whether it was the instruction that felt inclusive or the peers with more experience that enjoyed passing on their knowledge or tips, I constantly felt engaged in the classes and had fun coming back as my schedule permitted.

Dan and the whole crew make you feel welcome and safe. They are great with beginning students and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you’re grasping the concepts.If you’re looking into mma, jiu-jitsu, kickboxing this is the place to be.

There’s so much BS in martial arts and it’s so refreshing to find a place that just cuts through it. Not a cheap McDojo with fake coaches, and not an overpriced club where you pay for the decor. Amateur and pro fighters training on the same floor as complete beginners. No paying for advancement, no ego anywhere in the room. Costs accurately reflect the high-quality instruction and coaching. Best MMA gym in the whole South Florida

This gym is amazing. The instructors are extremely welcoming. The genuinely want the students to progress and learn. Not only is it great for self defense it also provides a great workout for all ages !

Evolution made this 2020 highlight. The facility is great even during these times. We have enough space from each other. I’ve learned a lot going two to three times which has increase my ability of reaching my goal. Best part is fun and now taking more classes with a small increase a month. It’s worth the price.

Short review:This place is awesome! Great environment, great people, you can go at your own pace, no ridiculing you for not being able to do something. Nobody is mean or overly aggressive. The martial arts education is excellent, in my humble opinion. Join, you won’t regret it! Martial arts is difficult and taxing on the body, but this is the perfect place to build up that resistance before you get on the mat for sparring or rolling. The kickboxing classes are fun and they’ll get you very very tired by the end. Take the free class and give it a shot, nothing to lose and a lot to gain. I’m glad I did.

Great gym! The trainers are awesome and they take the time to help you. It is clean and organized. The boot camp class is intense and you definitely feel that you are getting a good work out... same with the kick boxing! The hours are great, staff is great and the other members are great. I have definitely found a gym that is for me.

Would give them 17 stars if I could! The environment is so welcoming, the coaches are always kind and helpful, and the other students never make you feel intimidated. Absolutely love this place.

My kids have been going here for about 3 months and they love the classes. The teachers are great. The one thing that I understand is completely out of their hands is sometimes the classes are a little empty (7 kids) so the small kid might pair with the large kid. Hopefully more kids sign up and everybody gets a chance to roll with kids their size.

If I could give this gym more than 5 stars, I would. I have been coming here for the past three years and I absolutely love it! The owner and coaches are amazing and very welcoming.The classes include people of beginner and advanced levels, but Ive never felt intimidated. The coaches are always helpful and will take the time during class to make sure everyone knows what is going on/gets the technique down.Also, the owner is very clear about the terms of the membership. I had to cancel my membership twice during my 3 years of attending this gym and I’ve never had a problem. Honestly, I would recommend this gym to anyone. You get what you put into it. You won’t regret it!

I joined a little over a year ago and I can honestly say it’s one of the best things I’ve done for my health and wellness. I’ve lost over 20 pounds and feel better than I ever have. The only thing that would make it better is if I could be here 24/7

This place is awesome, the people/instructors are friendly and great. I love the kick boxing class and bootcamp (you burn a lot of calories but doing it in a very fun way). My son also is in there summer camp and he absolutely loves it, they are teaching him about nutrition, self defense, how to be independent, and how to treat others. I highly recommend this place!

I’ve only been here for two months and I have learned so much. I highly recommend this gym for all kids with no experience or none because all the coaches teach very well and if you have experience you might learn something new. This is the place to go if you are interested in learning from experienced coaches. Kickboxing is an extremely intense and complete workout that keeps me going back because I learn as I have fun.I highly recommend Evolution MMA, best coaches in town!

Was not happy with this place. First of all, when my child first began, there was only one coach. On any given class there were between 10-13 kids. It was not an effective way to teach. My child was bored because he didn’t learn much. On top of that, there were mixed belts and age group. There was a 5 year old and an 11 year old in the same class. After the class size grew to about 16 kids, they finally hired another coach. Both are nice however the discipline is not what is should be for a mixed martial arts class. Some kids would be goofing off and they were not reprimanded for this.Also, very deceptive terms for canceling accounts or terminating your membership. You have to call a separate company to cancel. Then they require an email. I’m still waiting to hear back from the company meanwhile the money continues to get deducted from the bank. It’s been a very unpleasant experience.

This place is AMAZING!!!. I have all 3 of my kids there Dan and his staff are a pleasure to be around my children admire them and learn something new each day. Couldnt ask for a better place!

Evolution MMA is a great way to get in shape or to enter the world of combat sports if you have not already. With so many classes and good coaches to learn from I would recommend this gym to anyone. Take up the opportunity to take a free class to get the feel for it. While intimidating at first, getting past the first uncertainties of doing a martial art for the first time is rewarding in many different ways, and this gym does an amazing job at promoting just that. If you want to practice BJJ, Kickboxing, or MMA for competition then this gym would be perfect for you.

This place is super clean and is a great class to introduce to your child, especially if you are raising a pre-teen/teenager! Helps build self-esteem and respect but most importantly, the interest that is taken in the child’s academics is my favorite. Makes it worth every penny! Definitely recommended for parents having a hard time with structure and academics!Bonus: Theres a class the parents can take while your child is taking their class! Amazing!

Don’t expect to get good training from this place if you are in the teens program there is no training of wrestling, kickboxing, or striking FOR TEENS . There is only one physical training day during the week and it is a Saturday, for teens who work on weekends there is no physical training for them, in mma your physical condition is really important . The most impressive thing is that they don’t even show you how to throw a kick to the head and they don’t even hold pads for you, and holding pads is the basics of striking . Also the payment company is hard to contact and you can’t leave if you want to, you need to pay 78 dollars every two weeks for 6 months for only two days of bad training.

Evolution is the complete package. My 6 yr old trains MMA there. He looks forward to class daily. Started during summer camp and now after 4 months the results are real. Not just skill but even muscle tone and strength. Since my son loves it there so much, I also joined and am glad I did. The training is perfect for all levels. When someone new starts they are typically trained sperately at first until they know enough to feel comfortable with the rest of the class. The instruction is greay. Coach G and Coach D are amazing teachers. Dan the owner is hands on every day. Ive never waited for an answer or had any communication issues and this is by far the cleanest and best organized mma gym in the area! Highly recommended. My wife will join next!

Have to agree with some of the other comments about the deceptive terms on the contract. Sure, you go in and meet with Dan (the owner) he gives two options, month to month or 6 month contract (which is a “better deal “) then he tells you sign here initials here and you’re done. What he fails to tell you is that after the 6 months are over you will still be in this contract ! He doesn’t fully explain the terms and is vague on what will happen after those 6 months.Shame on you for scamming good parents out of hard earned money. That’s the only way to keep your business booming apparently . Many parents realize this unfortunately when it’s too late.Lesson to be learned people. Read the fine print and ask a lot of questions. I am definitely Paying the price for not reading the fine print and trusting in the wrong individual.

Hands down this place is a dope gym. I’ve been training here for 3 years. Coach Dan knows his kickboxing and is an OG of the fight game. Everyone in the gym is friendly, it’s place where once you walk in there’s no Ego’s. Sparring partners are always looking out for each other, everyone’s just trying to better their MMA craft. Definitely would recommend his gym.

This gym is GREAT! I was hesitant at first but after my first kickboxing class I was hooked! Now I kickboxing and do jiu jitsu! You will leave each class drenched in sweat! And the coaches and tough but friendly! Def.5 stars!

Soo... I’ve never done martial arts before. I’ve never even step foot in a gym before but I was thinking about making a life change and I’ve always had an interest in kickboxing so I picked this place because it was close to my house. I gave them a call and they picked up right away. They answered all my questions in detail (great guest service - you speak directly with the trainers) and arranged to have me come in to take a free class and see if it was for me. I was new and awkward and didn’t know how to do anything properly but the way the class was run was amazing. I quickly fell in line and anything they saw I was unsure of they corrected me on and let me know that a lot of it is repetition and will come with time and practice. The staff/trainers are all so friendly and experienced. They’re very hands on and will stay before and after to help if need be. It’s like a little family and after that first class I fell in love and signed up that day. It’s been a month so far and I go every day (twice a day half the week). I recently started Jiu-Jitsu (which I am also new to) and again, very accommodating to newbies. They have advanced classes, belt tests, sparring and boot camp (AWESOME instructors). In one month I’ve learned so much and I feel way more fit and flexible. Besides the physical changes I can already see in my body, the best part is that there’s an amazingly experienced team you can learn from when you have people who have been doing this for years to people who have only just started. Love, love, love it. No regrets, especially when you get a free trial run. GIVE IT A TRY!Side note: clean, has a bag room for practice, a mini ring arena, weights, jump ropes, exercise balls, sparring equipment, and sell any MMA equipment you might need for classes.LOVE YOU GUYS!

Went in for a teens free trial class, the class was very crowed, 20+ kids for one instructor. Small cliques dominated the class with a couple columbus kids bullying others, I specifically remember one of them telling my rolling partner dont make me beat you up (pointing at belt) after telling him to stay of his groups territory. Instructor doesnt have time to explain the moves properly to every student. Coming from a more traditional martial arts background (bjj) i find it very disrespectful the fact that egotistical students arent disciplined to be more respectful to others. Wouldnt come here again dont waste your money by signing the contract. Remember the old days at the old smaller place, its changed for the worse.

I’ve never done kickboxing in my life, Dan invited me to a free class and I went the same day twice, in the morning it was bootcamp which was awesome and I ended up exhausted but happy and then when I thought It couldn’t be better, I went at night to kickboxing and it was amazing, the trainers are such a good people, super professional, they teach you the techniques to fight and kick, and it’s super fun and super relieving after a stressful day, apart of the fact that you see changes in your body and you feel more energetic ☺️

My 12 yr old attends the MMA program 4 times a week he started in the kids group about 1yr and a few month ago as a white belt he was very Happy as he progressed a lot his confidence, strength, agility, balance are getting better all the time he his now in the Teen Program with a yellow white belt and 1 dan and he loves it, The Dojo is very clean and large enough to accommodate for large groups, the coachs instruction are very clear and precise, they are explained first on another coach or student 3 to 4 times using different angles to make sure everyones understands. Then it practice time! There is no ego allowed during classes, so no bullies, no unfair treatment every body gets a shot!! Great Dojo!! Love this place!

Evolution MMA is a place I have called my second home. The environment and the people are amazing. You will get the results you want no doubt about that. The coaches/trainers push you to the limit of never giving up on you. The new techniques they use are beyond any techniques you would think of in a regular gym. The prices are very reasonable and trust you will get your moneys worth. I love it and I been away from Evolution for months now and I am urging to return. Evolution is an amazing gym. Ive been coming here since 2016 when I started a Groupon for some kickboxing classes. I wasnt sure which gym to choose from, but after a couple of classes I was hooked.
