Beware!!! Dear all I just had to deal with Atlantic Marine Services and I wanted to share with you my experience to spare you frustration. I regularly ship merchandise from Italy to the USA through DHL. If shipments are above $500 I usually pay some duties not much around $50 no problem with that, shipping around $100. So one of my new suppliers had to ship me a medium size box and they didnt have DHL account so after talking with one of their customers they decided to use Atlantic Marine Services. So they shipped me a box from Italy that was about 50 lbs, values of merchandise $1200. I was contacted by Atlantic Marine Services with instructions to pick up. What AMS had to do was to pick up the box from Miami Airport and take the box to their warehouse since I had already paid transportation to the Miami airport. I picked up the box the following day and I was shocked when they asked me $400 to pick up the box!!! $80 were the duties and the rest a bunch of fees they included. I complained with one of the owners for the outrageous price and he said this is the way we do business. So they ended up earning one of my rare negative reviews I wish I had the option to put a quarter of a star.
