My search to find a company to help me place my air conditioning unit on the rooftop of my condominium was no easy feat, until I came across this company. They provided me with the essential equipment to get the job done. The price was reasonable and their service was professional and outstanding.

Miami Tool Rental (SW 8 st location) has a great selection of tools / equipment for almost any construction project you need. Prices may be a slightly higher then advertised so read the fine print and ask questions. Also make sure you have your drivers license that matches the vehicle registration you will be using to pick up the equipment, it must match. Although I did read and ask questions prior to renting the staff was excellent with respect to providing this information beforehand.The equipment was clean upon pick up and the outside staff assisted me in loading into my SUV.I would like to recognize Jacob for his excellent customer service! I had a situation arise with the equipment I rented and Jacob went above and beyond to help me helping me correct the issue. This was really huge because if it wasn’t for Jacob’s help my project completion would have been delayed and most probably costed me additional money.Thank you Jacob & Miami Tool Rental!See you again soon.

I will never rent with this company again! RE: Rental March, 2020. I rented a backhoe, during the rental the machine broke-down within the first hour. A repairman was dispatched and arrived many hours later (after 5 pm). He fixed the machine, so I lost a whole day.I was never offered any kind of equipment damage insurance. During the course of my work the machine was overturned and damaged. Then I saw a very different side of this company. They sent out a recovery team, who were rude and basically did very little except to take lots of pictures and talk on the phone. My neighbor and I got the equipment back on its wheels and offered to pull it out of the ditch but the recovery team refused our help at that point.Fully expecting to pay for what I had damaged, I was shocked to see a request to let Miami Tool Rental charge my credit card for list of unnecessary items, that had minimal cosmetic scratches. After 6 weeks of back and forth emails and my demands to see the receipts for all the so called items that needed replacing Miami Tool Rental decided that some of the parts were not necessary for replacement. Basically a $1400.00 difference. In summary, If I rent again, it will be with a company like Sunbelt that offers protection for its customers.

They have a wide assortment of tools in stock and their showroom is very clean. All the equipment was very clean and appeared to properly maintained. Their staff will give you a quick tutorial on how to use whatever it is youre renting.Prices are pretty good, however, if you need to rent a tool on a Saturday, you will be charged the full day rate even if you return it before closing time as the return day/time is Monday morning. Spent way too much on a tool I only had in my possession for about 2 hours due to this. Also, the parking lot can get pretty crazy, luckily theres space out back.

Short recommendation, imagine that this place doesnt exit. I was looking for an air nailer to attach wooden strips to CMU wall, I was far from the place so I called them first to verify if they had it, and their answer was yes. Drove to the place and approached the counter, I was the only customer in the store at that moment. They gave me the gun in my hand and we were in the process of selecting the compressor and nails that were compatible with the gun, and getting ready to perform the subsequent test they usually do before letting you take it. A new customer came to the desk, rented the gun I had in my hand, store took the gun from my hand and gave it to him and then told me they ran out. Ill leave everything else to your imagination. I am guessing the guy who took the gun must have the best experience, until they do to him what they did to me.

Completely disappointed, I called and spoke to a representative told them I was renting a truck at HomeDepot to pick up a material lift told me yeah yeah yeah ok. I get there at 4:30 PM and all the guy behind the counter could say was “I wish I could rent you the lift but I can’t because your in a Homedepot rental truck.” I spoke to this person before renting the truck!!!! Completely made me waste time and money. Better off finding a company that trains their personnel right. Sorry doesn’t fix the bind they put me in and loss of time and money. Hire new Employees that know what they are doing!!!

I have been dealing with them for a while. I spend thousands of dollars a year renting equipments that I need to do my jobs. This last time, Jacob gave me a price when I asked to extend the rental for one more week. I asked him to clerify that what I understood is $105 more for the extra week, his answer was “exactly” I passed that number to my customer. Now Jacob is saying that he didn’t realize what I meant. And ask for $898 instead. Instead of honoring his word, he expects me to loose money because of his misunderstanding. Very disappointed.

Rented a towable boom lift from Miami Tool Rental today to prune some trees. The price was comparable with Homedepot, although the equipment is in better shape. Service staff was very professional. Was in and out quick with the right tool for the job. Will definitely use this place from now on when i need to rent tools.

Great experience..Recently rented an equipment to aid in the repair of my new house and was very pleased with them. The service was very good and all the tools were in great shape, very well taken care off. Loved the cleaningless of their facility and the promptlyness of the process. Purchased used genie 5519 off ebay. Item described as excellent condition.Im trying to get my money refunded offered to pay shipping back if they would just take piece of junk back.Im a mechanic of 35 years never seen a machine more misrepresented.Hydraulic control blocks had been switched to make tilt work eliminating quick connect .Machine does not operate by control diagrams(very dangerous).Hydraulic transmission will not pull grade .Cab floor boards completely rusted out.Tried to cover with paint. Gauges do not even work.Ball joints all missing protective boots completely missing,keeping steering from tracking straight.Beware buying any of there equipment.If they say its in excellent condition I paid 23,500.00 for a machine in excellent condition and got a piece of junk.Yeti and yani told me you have to expect it when buying used equipment.Im not sure of there nationality I had hard time understanding there speech.I believe that they knew this machine had many problems and lied big time about its true condition.They refuse to just give me back my money.

The worst in dealing with the client. Defects in their machines attributed to the client and when they are exposed they say that it is the clients error. Nefarious is kind of the counter at the branch of 8th Street. Hopefully and change their attitude .... not recommended. In other branches I have never had problems like this. Our company changes sunbelt. And to the owner to pay attention with its counter staff, because the technician and super professional delivery staff. I have videos of machine errors.
