As someone who has seen many dentists before as a child, I can honestly say that this the best pediatric dentist in Miami. The dentist can be scary, especially for children, so they strive to make the patient’s experience as comfortable as possible. Dr. Ortiz, the dentist, and Dr. Hernández, the orthodontist, are great; they are very knowledgeable, professional and have wonderful bedside manners. The front staff is professional and helpful. The dental hygienists are friendly and dedicated. Since I started coming, Yoli has treated and cared for me and she is always kind and caring and attentive.I highly recommend it to everyone.

Pediatric Dental Associates was highly recommended to me by a friend. The staff is extremely professional and take the necessary measures to maintain a safe and clean environment to comply with Covid-19 protocols. I am currently correcting my teeth (for the 3rd time) with the Invisalign system and so far it has been a positive experience. The Orthodontist explained to me in detail how this treatment would work and for how long. She reassured me this would be the best alternative for my dental needs.Great office and staff!

I like my experience every time I come to a oappointment. My first appointment was to inquire about cost because I had some trauma to my teeth, plus they were crooked. Long story short, I ended up getting my impressions done that day and booked my appointment for my braces. The staff is excellent and always in a good mood when I show up 💛, always welcoming and knowledgeable. I’m almost finished with my treatments; I love my smile, I’m a brand new person. I would recommend them this dental office! I live in North Miami and travel to South Miami.

My daughter was in pain for 2 days after a cavity filling. Dentist stated she used a metal ring in between her teeth; where it left her gums (tissue) surrounding the tooth swollen and inflamed. My daughter couldn’t sleep with the pain she had. I called the place the dentist checked on her once; said she will check on her in a few hours; didn’t hear from her until the next day. On top of that I couldn’t go in with her inside the place. They make the parents stay outside waiting...I would NEVER go there again nor Refer any one in that matter. It was an experience I wouldn’t forget.

What to expect in your visit.... It was my daughter’s first time at the dentist, and they didn’t take the time to make her comfortable.. They forced brushed her teeth, and in the process scratched her in the forehead ( my daughter LOVES to brush her teeth herself at home). There was no privacy, and I felt EVERYONE staring at my 22 month old crying of discomfort. I couldn’t hear what the doctor was saying due to everyone else talking. If I felt overwhelmed imagine my daughter. The whole visit lastedTEN MINUTES, I had to ‘chase’ the doctor down to ask ONE question. At the end of the visit, when they gave me the next appointment card it wasn’t her name... THEY HAD EXAMINED HER UNDER ANOTHER PATIENT’S NAME!!! I truly felt SOO disappointed.

I have been coming to this practice for more than 5 years. It was excellent until recently. The staff is good but the are overbooking patients. The wait is 1 hour minimum from your appointment time. 😔Excellent staff. Great service and excellent doctors. I hope they go back to the way they were.

When she speaks to us she is very thorough and kind, and does not get bothered with our millions of questions; the staff is also very kind and patient. The front desk ladies are super helpful and answer any questions you might have. The dental hygienist that my 6 year old son had was extremely nice. She made him feel sooooo comfortable for the cleaning. She asked him to choose the brush for the cleaning, showed him all the different tools they will be using and I feel like my son felt very comfortable once he saw he was so involved in the process. And Dr. Ortiz? Amazing dentist! Her bed side manners were amazing. Explained all the issues my son had with his mouth as well as explained it to him. Overall amazing dental clinic. Will recommend to anyone with my eyes closed.
