My tutor Grant was really nice and although I was pretty bad at AP Lang to begin with, I significantly became better after writing several essays and receiving constructive criticism on them and ways how to improve. I genuinely started enjoying English after that, and even got a 99 on my final! He was really entertaining too which made English less boring and more enjoyable. Also the classes weren’t mad expensive and actually affordable lol. Also I got a 5 on my AP Language exam!

My tutor Ashlyn is absolutely wonderful. Not only does she make sure I understands things fully but also goes over even the smallest things to help me get the best score. She is very patient, flexible and very easy to talk to, I was very comfortable after the first day. I am very happy with my decision picking Amikka Test Prep.

My tutor Tyson was the best. He helped me understand the criteria and overall the question and why the answers were right and why the answers were wrong. While going over each question he worked at it in multiple perspectives which I really liked. We went over and wrote down techniques I needed to get down to help me succeed. Now we are going over what the college application process is and essays.

My tutor Max was a really good and humane teacher. He always worked diligently to help me. He always check on me if I understand what he’s saying. Max explain things lucidly and understandably.

I’ve never been one to seek help from tutoring companies because having worked for one in the past and seeing the way they are structured and operated, I came to the conclusion that the student’s best interest is often not the priority. Amikka completely and fully changed my perspective. I was struggling in Calculus and decided to give Amikka a try after receiving a referral from a friend and honestly I’m not sure how everyone else hasn’t made use of this amazing service. The tutors are friendly, exceptionally helpful, and whenever I needed extra help, they were always on call even when I wasn’t paying for a session. Took an intro to coding with Amikka Test Prep and I learned more in 3 sessions than I did in a whole semester at my university. Was able to take a higher level coding class the next semester and I never felt like I wasnt prepared. If anything, I felt I was ahead of the class from all the work I had done with my tutors. I only WISH I had known about them earlier, maybe I couldve used their services in my senior year of high school and ended up at a better school.Love their philosophy and their individualized approach. Although I’ve only started recently, my tutor from Amikka has helped immensely. I chose to take a Computer Science course with absolutely no knowledge in the area, despite that, my tutor was understanding and helped me build from the beginning. He’s understanding and helps me when I need it. I am not yelled at or reprimanded by him in any sort of way like some of my teachers do and I am beyond grateful for that. Amikka Test Prep was great for SAT prep. My tutor, Kilando Chambers, was super helpful. He taught me a lot of strategies that helped immensely when taking the SAT. He was also very nice and patient, and helped me understand the content of each section very well. Kilando explained things very clearly and identified my weaknesses to help make me stronger in those areas. After my sessions with him I felt a lot more confident going into my exam. Overall a great experience.

My Tutor was Julia. She is always on time and very flexible with work. She helps me prep for an upcoming SAT and it’s seems like to help me a lot.

My daughter is a junior in HS and Amikka tutoring has been tutoring her for a few weeks and she really enjoys it and she feels it has helped her underthe material more. Her first test for SAT will be in march! i have recommended them to all my friends.

I started with Krislyn around two weeks before my test. She definitely made me feel comfortable and allowed my needs to direct the sessions, which I thought was very efficient. One thing that stood out to me was that she never judged me for getting answers wrong and she was always ready to explain concepts multiple times. Overall, I think tutoring helped me understand concepts I was consistently getting wrong and I was able to figure those patterns out with the help of my tutor (who was the best!), Krislyn.

I really liked the tutoring sessions and they helped me do better in school. I am in an honors class for algebra 2 and I was struggling because of the fast pace that honors classes move at. After a few tutoring sessions, I started to understand a lot of the concepts that I didnt understand before and now Im doing a lot better in school.
