Ive ordered from Place for Brakes before. Great experience first time. Not so much the 2nd. After repeatedly calling the company numerous times with no answer and messages. I finally went to their help button and sent info that way. I got a response sent back info on what I was looking for and didnt receive a response for 4 days until I emailed again to their general email. Luis Marcos is the Sales Manager and I emailed again to the info.email told me it went to the junk email, all I wanted was a a price on the brakes and he wanted to argue over the email thing. Got the prices, they are much higher now, bad response time, and bad customer service. Main rule in business, dont argue with the customer.

Great price on EBC brakes. Decent shipping charge. Will order again for rear brake kit in 2 weeks.

I ordered rotors a month ago. Still havent received. I have tried to call several times and left messages but no response. I will be filing a complaint.

I purchased GreenStuff 6000 pads, front and rear for my Chrysler Town and County van. I discussed pads with a Place for Brakes employee and explained that I was confined to wheelchair, and my van is operated, both accelerator and braking, via hand controls, and I needed a brake pad that was reliable and had good stopping power. The GreenStuff pads were actually the best pads I have ever tried, and over the course of 30+ years of driving a handicapped vehicle with hand controls, I have tried many different manufacturers pads. I do mostly highway driving, and I do not ride the brakes. These pads were used up in roughly 6,000-7,000 miles. I called Place for Brakes to explain what had happened, and ask if there was any sort of warranty on the brakes, and there was not. In a nutshell, I was informed, rather nicely, that I am SOL. Not even so much as a token offer to sell me set at a reduced price. If you are handicapped and drive with the use of hand controls, and you have plenty of funds to cover replacing these semi annually, they are good brakes. I dont know many people who are receptive to replacing their brakes and possibly rotors so often when these pads wear done. They must be made from compressed sawdust. Ive been driving since the 70s and have never had, even a cheezy pair, of pads wear so quickly.

If you need brakes this is the place. Wasnt sure what to order and the staff was extremely knowledge and patient with my questions. I couldnt be happier with my brakes. I highly recommend!
