Upon arrival and after passing through a very thorough security checkpoint before boarding the plane from Costa Rica, this place has us go through security again. It is probably procedure, but we bought food and sodas behind the security checkpoint before arriving here and the security made us throw out all water, soda, and food bought behind the security checkpoint. What a waste. Not all of the areas to buy more food and drink are open and there is no information as to what is available, so you wander around looking for open stores and walk for miles (literally) as this airport is very large and everything is spread out with only four areas serviced by a train. I would avoid going to MIA at all costs in the future.

Congratulations for the improvements done to the Airport. Now you need to improve the baggage puck up area. Good work!

That was quite a surprise. Ive been avoiding it for years because it was such a pain. I arrived with time to kill due to the Super Bowl happening in Miami. I was shocked to see it so clean and going through security was actually as pleasant as going through security can be. The staff were all really nice everywhere that I explored, as I had plenty of time to explore. A man sat 3 chairs from me as we were waiting to board. He was coughing into his hand and was obviously sick. I felt bad for him but annoyed that he was going to board a plane full of people, beyond inconsiderate. I watched closely as an employee VERY discreetly spoke to him and they walked away. Bottom line, he wasnt on the plane. So, yay! Definitely 5 stars yesterday.

What can I say, I work here and we strive to make it a great experience for all travelers, patrons and all that visit this great airport. Safety and security are most important at all times

Having traveled all over the world, I feel that Philadelphia International Airport is better than most. Good shopping, lots of food and lugguage return is relatively quick.

No general issues with getting around, restaurants, etc. The airport temperature is way colder than avg. Seems like an unnecessary waste of energy. If you have a long layover, bring a blanket.Also, cushioned chairs are being replaced by hard plastic. These are painful to sit on after a few minutes.

We flew from here when our BA flight from Orlando was cancelled,and we had no other option than fly from Orlando to Miami,home to the UK.This is a very Large airport has all the necessary amenitees,just wish it had been our choice,then we woul not have been so stressed!

Nice place but, staff was in very rush could not even let me make my own choice they are in just making there incentive and just make the sale.... What does customer want they dont care....

Worst Baggage Claim system in the world. So many angry people around the conveyors. If you want refreshments get them before you get on the shuttle train as the choices by the international gate are extremely poor. Staff inattentive. Glad were only passing through and that the pain will be shortly over. Desk staff were brilliant and kept the calm.

Nice place to get some Cuban coffee and relax.

Beats the hell out of KCI foreigners may struggle with traveling from satellite terminals as signage isnt the greatest

Most people are rude, so make the most of the ones that are not. They over charge for the luggage trolleys, knowing that most people will need them, because its a pretty big airport.

To many people employees speaking that Spanenglish Spanish/English dilect the sound like a bunch of uneducated hilljacks

We had a delay on our flight of 2 hrs, our gate must have been at the furthest point possible and freezing cold.2 staff members in pizza hut were having an almighty battle, shouting at each other in front of customers. There was a coffee outlet and pizza hut at the gate.

It is a large and organized airport, with a wide variety of shops, a large number of seats, and a cell phone recharging area.

This airport is beautiful from the inside. But parking is very expensive ... very depressing

Like all airports. I didnt see anything special except that it took us more than two hours to pass customs control (Id rather say uncontrol)

The wifi works very well. I was going alone and I had no problem moving. Everything is well indicated.
