This was the best salon experience I have had in Miami. Caitlyn Oakley left my hair refreshed, chic, and healthy. I got a full highlight service and this is the first time I have left (been getting the same service for 10 years) completely happy/not looking like a tiger. They look so natural and the smudging technique she used on my roots made it look beautiful. The entire team is so friendly. Manderine and Isa did a great job as well attending to me. Caitlin is THE BEST hair colorist in the Mimi area PERIODT. She always gets exactly what I’m trying to do with my color, wether that’s pink, purple, blue, you name it. My hair always is spot on, never cracks or breaks and that is true craftsmanship. If you want your hair color to be done good, you come to Caitlin.

Michael is simply the best and so very talented and knowledgeable! He consistently has provided the best haircuts Ive ever had! Its been really hard for me to find someone who can cut my hair so the curls lie well and arent weighed down, but he did that effortlessly!He gave great advice for styling products and methods for my finicky hair, but with the haircut he gave me, my curls were much nicer even without using product (where as before I needed 3-5 products at a time). I love the way he styles my hair and shows me how to use products.He is friendly, punctual, funny, easy to talk to, and very talented. For his amazing work, his prices are of a great value for the price, especially for Miami!Junior and Hatter has an amazing vibe! The decorations, furniture, and ambiance are all amazing and cover even the smallest details while remaining functional!Staff are all very nice and talented, and the place is clean and modern!

Easily one of the best haircuts/shaves I’ve ever gotten. I walked in with what I can only describe as a mess of hair (see: crazy fro), and asked for a miracle of a fix. First of all, Artem was amazing, gave me his recommendations and explained in detail what he was gonna do, great convo (dude has great energy), and I came out the other side beyond happy. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for an all around great experience, and an even better cut.

She also cuts my husbands and 8 year old sons hair and they always walk out happy. I always receive compliments on my cut - I cannot recommend her and the salon enough.

The salon itself is very central and easy to get to, there’s street parking right outside (paybyphone). The interior of the salon is warm and welcoming. Made an appointment to get my hair done by Ilana, she did a lovely color melt to blend my roots and my ends so I would have easier to care for low maintenance hair. I’m from out of town so it’s difficult for me to go back as often. She gave me some great advice on how to care for my hair properly once I went home too. Overall one of the best salon experiences, and a stylist I would trust with my life!

Just moved to Miami and after checking out the reviews and having an acquaintance recommend the place, it was a no-brainer. The staff at Junior & Hatter is super friendly and accommodating, was offered some drinks while I waited a brief moment for my cut. Got my cut by Mario the owner and I can’t have more awesome words to describe the whole experience. Down to earth and extremely knowledgeable about how to correct my previous butcher job from a barber. Showed him a picture of how I wear my hair, he quickly gave me his recommendation, and I went from stressed to hair blessed. Left knowing that I have my new go-to barber/stylist in Miami.

Bradley Sanders is the most incredible colourist to ever touch my hair. King of Blondes is not an understatement in the slightest.He makes you feel instantly comfortable when you sit in his chair, like youre his best friend.Hes completely honest with me about what was achievable and what would suit me.Hes kept my hair absolutely perfect double process and healthy as!I would recommend Bradley to anyone who loves to have a perfect bespoke blonde.

Terrible experience. It felt like my barber (Mario) was trying to win a speed cutting contest, and it shows in the result. I arrived on time for my appointment and everything was done within less than 20min. I expected a lot more for a 55$ haircut.I did have a good beard trim from a different barber there after that, otherwise it would be 1 star only.

I wanted to do no stars but it was impossible Drove from Aventura and arrived six minutes late ( I checked my pay by phone app to be completely accurate) due to traffic on I95 and was greeted by the lovely Chelsea who refused to take us . She said she called but there were no missed calls .I told her I did not need the blow-dry and that would make up for the 10 minute but she refused to even check with the stylist my guess is either she is trying to sabotage where she works or the stylist didnt show up and they wanted an excuse. Now we know why all the chairs were unattended .BTW, walked by three hours later and there are still plenty of empty chairs!

Stephanie aka The Curl Ninja! If you are looking for a professional Curly hair specialist you have to come here. I went in for a haircut and was later styled (styling product and diffused). She was very knowledgeable, patient and overall great service. The salon has cool vibe and laid-back style. If you cant schedule an appointment with Stephanie; her husband Dennis is also a curly hair pro. It is a bit pricey, but I do recommend at least one visit with her especially if you want to get become more aware of how to care and protect your Curls!

The first stylist I went to made my hair feel like hay and all of the hairs by my face were broken, mind you this is only highlights not even lightening of all of my hair. Then because the salon I normally go to was booked I decided to come here for a hair cut because I thought it would be difficult to mess up something as simple as a haircut. I was wrong. The second stylist I went to here gave me the worst haircut Ive ever had I told her to give me layers and I dont want it to look like I have bangs. Well what she did was give me terrible bangs. It looks like I was going to get a bob then stopped half way. Then my boyfriend comes here for a haircut as well. He has long hair and tells the stylist he wants layers to add volume. What she does is cut all his hair up to his shoulder with no layers. This place is a joke

Dennis has been cutting my hair close to about 10 years now. I feel very confident sitting in his chair knowing that he will deliver one of his best cuts. He listens to your concerns about your hair and what you’d like to accomplish. He also recommends great products to help your hair, not just to make a sale.Before going to Dennis, I would go to barbershops. But after those cuts I would have to go home and fix some of it myself. Never had to do that in Dennis’s chair. He’s a great stylist who takes his craft very seriously and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
