I’ve been going to this location for YEARS. This past Friday I was charged $14 just to shape up my beard. I was in the shop for no longer than 10 minutes, nothing complicated again a simple lower the beard down the beard. Entire time barber was scolding at the front desk kid, which he took it all as a champ. I would have walked out for sure if my boss or coworker would have talked down on me like that.

Best shop!Oliver has clear vision on what his business looks like. You can see it by just spending a few minutes at the shop; organized, clean, best in class service. I would not go anywhere else. I am grateful they are right next me, but I encourage you all to give them a try, you will enjoy it. If Oliver is not there i feel comfortable with his lineup - pretty much received a haircut from all the barbers. I have been coming here for 3+ years and the prices are consistent. Friendly and professional barbers. If you check in online and put your part to get there, you will not wait very long to get a haircut. They also have another location inside Modesto FIU campus.

My experiences at Golden Touch are always pleasant ones. Walk in and i am always greeted right away by someone behind the desk. Wait time is always pretty quick but having sports on the tvs is a nice distraction. The barbers all are very professional and strive to give the customer exactly what theyre looking for. Whether i know what style i want or get help from the barber, it always comes out great. They also offer great hair products which i usually end up buying. Definitely everything i would hope to get out of a great barbershop.

Finding a good barbershop in Miami is easy, but finding a great one thatsa different story! For me a great shop has to be professional, cordial andmost of all have great barbers who know their trade. Ive only been here once,and I dont usually get my haircut by anyone other than myself or my mom,but when Oliver cut my hair,I knew this place was good. I think the wait was longer then the haircut,but the wait wasnt that ling and it was well worth it. I liked the haircut I got,I got it for a good price,and it was fast,but not rushed. I dont think I could ask for anything else. Ill definitely be coming back.

Im there every week to get my beard groomed and it is always a pleasant experience. The wait time is minimal, if any, and never have to deal with the usual antics of having to chase down people for service like you would at most barbershops. Quality cut, quality experience.

This was my first experience at Golden Touch. Let me say that it is a very nice and professional atmosphere. The staff all was very friendly and welcoming. Upon walking in youre greeted by a gentleman and asked if youre looking for a specific barber. Since it was my first time I said Id take the first available. I was lucky and got Erik as my barber, this guy knows how to cut hair and mostly knows customer service! Erik made me feel very much like a client that had been there for years. Throughout my time in his chair, Erik and I got to know each other a bit and I walked out of there with the best haircut Ive had in over 10 years, The shop has hair products that I will go back to purchase once they have it back in stock. I literally saw the last one walk out right in front of me by a previous customer, Id recommend Golden Touch and especially Erik to anyone that wants a great haircut in a great atmosphere!

Very well kept barbershop plus youre welcome in the moment you walk in, the wait time is very minimal but its worth the time. The barbers make you feel like youve been going to the shop for years. Went in for a routine touch up left there feeling very satisfied. Highly recommend this shop if youre looking to get a haircut or a just a simple touch up.

This is the best barbershop on Miami Ive been so far the barbers are great the owner is there always helping people I take my son and hes not an easy cut he moves a lot and they have the patience for it the place is clean and a good ambiance all the 1 star people are way to salty if you have to wait for barbers is not because they are lazy is because they are good barbers and all have appointments set up is not like those butchers from blade that they finish your service and you have cuts all over

Worst haircut ever, barely understand simple directions and super lazy.

Ive been visiting this barbershop since theyve opened. Its always been a clean and friendly barbershop. Great atmosphere. Online Check-In available and a huge plus.

Not all happy with their service or their barbers’ skill. I’ve have gone twice to this barbershop and two different barbers have screwed up my hair. Careless with no attention to detail. Sides and top were not blended well at all and the hairs where the sides and top meet visibly vary in length. Hairstyle was not complicated. Thanks for the terrible service.

The people were very nice but I did get a cut the day before my wedding. The haircut looked nice but the fact that I had a very noticeable bloody cut means I have to lower their rating. I ran into a friend at a local sub shop and asked him if he noticed the cut. He asked if a squirrel attacked me!So, the barber was inexperienced with a razor. At least it looked nice (other than the bloody cut).

These are people that did simple courses and started there, not half of a professional. If you want a good haircut go somewhere else

Despite the one bad review I decided to try out the place and judge for myself.After all, I just needed a haircut and nothing more.I stepped in with no appointment or anything and the guy behind the desk asked immediately if the first available was OK.Before I could answer one had just finished and he waived me over to his station.He welcomed me with a handshake and once I got seated prepped the protective cape and his tools, making sure they were clean after his previous customer.He then asked what I needed and how I wanted it to look, special requests if any.After briefly explaining how short I wanted it he got started. I usually get nervous when they start using the electric razor instead of scissors because I feel it shows poor haircutting skills if you havent learned how to use those but everything seemed to be going fine so I just relaxed. He frequently turned my chair so I could look into the mirror to show how it was progressing.During the final touch-up he frequently asked if I was still happy with the way it looked so far. When I asked to take a little more of the top he did so immediately.When he took the hand held razor blade to trim the back of my neck the bad review I read about bloody cuts popped briefly in my mind but soon I felt there was nothing to worry about, he knew how to use it.All in all, I went in for a decent haircut and I walked out with one.For $12 not a bad deal.I have paid $14 for a worse cut in Texas when I still lived there.The atitude someone talked about in his review was certainly not there and I watched the other barbers at work.All I saw was three other guys with a nice haircut leaving the shop.I left with what I came for, a nice haircut and when I need one again next month I will definitely go there again.Perhaps then I will ask to have my goatee trimmed instead of doing it myself.My first experience with Golden Touch was a good one and they made a good first impression.

1/2/15 Update:This is still my hands down favorite barbershop. Every 2-3 weeks I go get my haircut, but because its literally on the opposite side of Kendall to me I try to find a closer shop. The problem is every time Ive tried a different barbershop the experience was less than satisfactory. Either the haircut sucked or I just didnt like the vibe of the shop. So every two weeks I suck it up and take the drive against traffic to Golden Touch. Im bumping this place up to 5 stars because I always get great service and if it isnt the weekend the wait is never too long. Keep up the good work guys.-------I like this shop, I actually drive past several other barber shops to come to Golden Touch. I typically just crop shave my hair short but you wouldnt believe how many people can mess that up.Its your typical shop with several young barbers working at a time. Its different from other shops because for the most part the barbers keep the language clean and professional. Speaking of which, I like that everyone in the shop wears their company issued logo shirts. It just makes it feel like a more reputable business.My favorite part about the place is that they finish each cut with their signature hot lather neck shave (they do my whole tape up with it, feels great!)Pros:They take credit cardsIts clean and smells good to me lolThey take kids and will cut ladies hair (even though Ive never seen a woman come in to get a cut).Its not ghetto (thank god!)Its competitively pricedCons:Long wait times during weekends (not their fault)I always pay with card and though you can leave a tip on it, I wish they would let you take cash from the card to give a physical tip. It feels more personal to me that way.They should write names down when you check in for your barber, Im pretty sure I was just skipped so one star was just removed.This place is FatCats approved
