My husband needs transmission work done on his truck. He swears this place is the best repair shop for transmission repairs; stated he remembers his grandad took his vehicles there when he was a teenager. Ill follow-up once he gets the truck back. Stay tuned.

They made my. truck worst then when I took it to them. And it cost me 16000.00 for them to do that. Now they say I need to buy a 250.00 part for the truck to run correctly. I would not take a stick back to them to fix.

This is the only transmission shop I ever used. They rebuilt my 73 Buick Lasabre back in 1986. For $200. I’ll never forgot a kid fresh out of high school with mediocre job they help me out in a bad situation.I have send many customers to them ever since. Would not trust nobody else when it comes to transmission work. Honest, fair, and great quality work.Don’t let the look of the area and bldg change your mind. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

Well let me keep it short and simple, my transmission blew driving down from daytona So I started contacting transmission shops to get quotes and find out what went wrong. After visiting about 4 local shops that quoted me between 790 and 1100 for the repair that they stated without even looking under the car, I found GITMO Transmissions and met with The owner, he got under the car and accessed the possible problems my car had and gave me several possibilities along with prices. I felt very comfortable with his assessment so I agreed to let him do the job, he told me it will be ready the next day. To my surprise the next day I receive a call from the owner himself telling me the job is gonna cost about $100 less than he quoted me that would make my total repair less than half of what I was quoted by 4 other shops (I was astonished in 24 years, never has a mechanic called and told me it was gonna be less.....Wow) I thought I was dreaming. Bottom line is its rare to find honest people nowadays. I personally can vouch through experience that these guys are FARE and most importantly HONEST......So much for short and simple..
