This place needs to be sued! We stayed there from 3/18/2017 to 3/20/2017. It has been over a month and we have not received our deposit of $250 back. We emailed first and they ignored emails. First time, I called customer service lied that deposit was sent. Two weeks later, no deposit. Called second time and they made an excuse that system has been having problems. Please, do not stay at that place! You will not get your deposit back. They do not have a front desk as normal hotels and they only way to verify in deposit is to call or email. It sounds fishy to me sand I might try sue them in court.
The accommodation is good however they need more cleaning as it has a lot of dust in the kitchen lamps and bathrooms I was staying from the 3rd to the 5th of July with the promise that I would be refunded the deposit of US $ 250.00 and they told me in an email That within 5-7 days would be my deposit and Im still waiting for my deposit. The place was amazing great view very clean. The service was not good at all. We only stayed 1 night, we arrived around 9pm and the young girl at the counter did not make us feel welcome at all. I felt like I was disturbing :/ I still did not get my security deposite and it makes 1 and 1/2 months I checked out. Great place to go if your rich and dont mind lousy customer service.
Be careful...it is fraud. You have to pay a security fee and you should get it back after everything is ok, but you will never get the fee back

Perfect stay, but quite weird practice to reserve security deposit 1 month prior to our actual stay. And since I am from EUR zone, I had to face losses because of currency fluctuation and LYX refused to handle them.

This place deserves NEGATIVE STARS. They are professional thieves!!! Our reservation was cancelled three weeks before our stay noting an invalid credit card??? Strange b/c they charged me the full amount 6 months ago and nothing was disputed which was confirmed w/ my bank!! You call the company and they give you five different stories. It has been a month and to date nothing has been refunded. I have the booking agent as well as my credit card company involved and am hopeful I will be reimbursed. Save your self the hassle and inconvenience and find another place which is much more professional and understands what customer service means!!!

Sadly even though I thought this was a nice place, It has been 21 days since I have checked out and still waiting on my 250 dollar deposit. I see by other reviews this place is doing the same to a lot of people. I have emailed each week and keep getting the run around sound like this is what they do. I will definitely be looking into a few options against this place. Very disappointing. My stay was March 30th thru April 1st of this year still no deposit back. - Updated 05/08/17 I see the response below states this matter is resolved that is not true as of today I still have not received my deposit from this place. His response is the same to all the people as you can see. Nothing but scammers. I better get my refund ASAP.

Terrible Customer Service, it has taken more than 21 days for them to try to even process my refund on my deposit. I called them every day for a week, and every day they gave some excuse why they couldnt do that day. its day 21 they told me they just processed the refund and that it will take another 2 days. terrible people to work with

Ive been here only two hours and already I consider this place one of the worst. Customer service is horrendous, it took us like half an hour to get a room which was already reserved. They charged us a $100 hotel fee and dont even have soap in their rooms to shower. Complete garbage, stay away from this place.
Terrible. Thieves and Liars. Worst Experience Ever. We found a towel in the dryer with feces on it (yes a towel with S$#@5) on it.We asked for a refund/discount and additional parking space. We did get the additional parking space but the owner called saying he would offer a refund/discount and was very apologetic.They are professional liars and con artists. The owner offered a 20% refund which we accepted but Ive been texting him for two weeks. He simply disappeared and never heard back from him. I know they may respond to my review saying I was trying to get money back but I beg to differ. We should have been compensated for their lack of care in taking care of the unit and providing a clean and healthy place to stay, a towel with feces on it is the complete opposite of this.If you book a place you should expect a clean space and having a towel with feces in the washer is unhealthy and not acceptable. Coupled with their lies that they were soooo sorry but did not come through just made the whole experience worse. Dont stay here, they dont deserve anyones business. As you can see from all the reviews, Im not the only one that has had problems with Lyx Suites. They should be banned from booking sites.I would post a picture of the towel with feces but wil save everyone the eyesore.
RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!!!My Stay was from April 6th -9th. I called a day after I checked out because I had already read reviews saying that they didnt receive their $250 security deposit. The lady assured me I was getting my deposit back, to allow 7-15 business days. I waited patiently for the 15th day I called again, the same lady tells me to wait until next week and refuse to put her supervisor on the phone. Now I have spoke with 2 different supervisors and 2 different reps and they all Fed me this story That my refund is on its way and that I should be getting a confirmation email to follow. Still nothing ... these ppl are scams!!!! Now I have to get a lawyer involved.
Stayed at this place by Miami river. Went out shopping only to come back to strangers emptying our apartment, our personal items, food stuff etc. telling us that we are being evicted and cannot enter the room at all. Had to stay in a small room with few other families for hours and no assistance from Lyx Suites. Will not recommend them to anyone after our experience, to date we have not gotten a refund or compensation.

Had trouble with reservation at first, but thank God after a few phone calls and emails my mother was able to get a full refund when canceling her reservation.

I stayed in the middle of a hurricane, but since Agotas arrangements and the company itself have not been able to respond to customers at all, I have said many times but did not even have an extra bed. The hotel itself is expensive, but it was fashionable and not bad, but anyway Agoda is the worst useless company.
Location great. The view from the 36 storey apartment is absolutely spectacular. The car parking space in the parking garage is good, you can also get to the main lifts directly from there. Really spacious three bedroom apartment. Downstairs a grocery store ... expensive yes, and a short walk to a big normal priced grocery store.Making a reservation and the bureaucracy felt quite cumbersome when you had to fill out a variety of forms and give your credit card full access.Also, the final price is quite more expensive when it comes to taxes and service fees and the final cleaning fee.The elevators are at times quite congested.

The worst experience of my life. I was robbed by the staff. I had to call the police. And due to Hurricane Matthew, my flight back to Brazil was canceled, even though I asked to pay for more days in my room, I was expelled a few minutes before the hurricane arrived in Miami. Good location if you are with a car. The apartment is spacious and comfortable pity that the cleaning leaves much to be desired. The garage, the gym and the pool are a 10.
To avoid especially at price! We were more than 5 families waiting for the keys to our condo for cleaning reasons, which was not done since the bath was still very dirty, the cabinets and appliances were fat and stained with finger marks, the moires and all the other furniture were very dusty and the floors also very dirty. Several blinds were broken, wardrobes badly fixed and the heater that did not work during the cold night at 10 degrees! We were left with a towel for the bath despite being 4 people, no dish towels, no soap of any kind (bath, dishes, laundry). No storage furniture in the room and no TVs either. No access to resort amenities on the pretext that they are already in use (movie theater, gym etc. ..) No access to your car except for residents and $ 25 fee for the valet that we fail to tell you on Expedia ! We had read only good reviews on Expedia but it seems that we give you the wrong version. In addition to the security deposit that seems endless to get a refund but that I can confirm only once part. You have work to do Lyx to rebuild your reputation!
Great apartments with spectacular views of the Down Town of Miami, with nearby underground train stations and easy access to roads and highways, comfortable, well equipped, very clean. Recommendable.
I confirm the overall rating! hotel to run away urgently! The apparations are very dirty, and big lack of flexibility of services, given the price! the security deposits are not returned, no reception on the spot, just the guardians who strictly do their job of surveillance, give you the keys and nothing more. All the network is managed remotely (where the galley to get your deposit), they do not know who you are. No luggage, make sure you do not miss the last day with your suitcases. Keys returned at 11h no more (otherwise its $ xxx fine for 1 hour late), and when you are no longer part of the customers of the institutions and we will not hesitate to send you walk the minute that follows ... just business, no commercial fiber in all that.
Four months passed and they still DID NOT RETURN THE DEPOSIT OF 250 dollars that in theory they reimburse per month. Send emails and they do not answer, they do not take charge, the VISA card confirmed to me that there is no pending income from the money today, THEY NEVER SENT IT!
