We had a great experience with Miami Mold Specialists (team 4 lead by Luigui). We just bought a house and Our A/C and attic was filled with mold. Luiguis team were very professional, honest, arrived on time every time, did a great job, took pictures of everything as proof of their work, finished quick and on time and left the house great! Our house feels so much safer, cleaner and best of all: mold free! Its an expensive treatment but very worth the price! I recommend this company to anyone looking to fix mold problems in their home.

My clients and I were looking for mold specialists and came across this company with fantastic reviews! It was kind of a no brained to go with them. We called and scheduled an inspection. Day of the inspection came and Miami Mold Specialists arrived on time. Upon arrival we met. The person in charge was Jesus Rivera. As the inspectors were performing their inspections and taking pictures, I began to ask questions. More or so because I was curious, because it all looks like dust build up to me. The inspectors were fine and answered my questions. I then find Jesus and ask him a couple questions. I mentioned, that doesn’t look like mold, it kind of looks like built up dust, how do you tell the difference? At this point, I guess he thinks I was questioning his credibility and he became very defensive. Great, here we go. I asked him politely, to speak to me as a professional, same way I was speaking to him. Jesus continued his attitude. At this point I told him I was going to call his manager, and oh boy, did this guy go off. I called the office and let’s just say they could careless. Needless to say. Be very wary of dealing with Jose the senior inspector / manager / foreman or what ever his title maybe.Lastly, we received our report. Yup, you guessed it. They found mold. They say it’s mold, but do not know for sure because they have to send it to a lab to get tested. Lol, why are you the mold specialist? Also, the quoted repairs were $2,700 for humidity, that’s right not mold, but humidity. It’s Florida, you will always find humidity. Lastly, we never called them for humidity, just mold.First and last time I use this company. So sad. To have such great reviews and have the one bad apple ruin the bunch. Be careful and always get a second opinion.

Terrible service. This company says anything to sell you their service, but when it comes to the service they dont do what they promised. I signed the contract based on what the Technician that inspected my house said that had to be done to treat the mold and I still confirmed with the management. I went over all the details with their office once I received their quote. They did not do what they promised to do, they did not remediate the mold completely. The technician that came to do the service did something else and the mold was not treated. I had to get someone else to do it. I also never got the certificate from them. These good reviews must be made up.

BEWARE ! I called Miami Mold because I had a problem in one bathroom. They would only do a full house inspection so I did it. The technician (salesman) they send for the initial inspection tells you that you need many things done that you really dont. He lied and said my insurance would cover remediation with no deductible (not true). He said they would fix my problem and whatever was causing it (not true). They came back multiple times to try and fix the issue and could not. They left some type of paint overspray on my counters and wood floors. They damaged my A/C units. They broke air vents.... Total incompetence all around.

I must say this was a very unpleasant experience. First, they sent approximately 6 technicians considering the pandemic we have going on. This one older gentleman filling out paperwork was very difficult to understand. Not because of his mask, but lack of English and patience. Very impatient when it came to answering the questions I had as I have small children at home and must ensure all measures taken are deemed safe. He filled out the CLIENT questionnaire on my behalf WITHOUT permission and falsified information that he and I never discussed. Writing I had stated the house smelled of mold, I had a cough, probably spoke to my physician about my condition, reported this to my insurance company. All of which is NOT true and was never spoken of. He continued to state that the work was guaranteed and any mold, if such, would not return. After further questioning, he then came to say that it was only a one year guarantee with a possibility of mold returning. This is my first time with such an issue so I wanted to go over their findings and speak of all they saw, causes and remedies. His replies were quick, vague explanations leaving me still unsure of what the issues were. Without their findings, explanation of causes, remedies, he asked me to sign the estimate to fix the issue of which I was still unsure of totaling $3k. Of course, I did not sign and not sure if I will move forward with this company until they properly provide me with a report of their findings including pictures (which the $275 inspection fee includes). This company should send out technicians who either have more patience to help explain and enlighten the customer on the issues at hand. Perhaps I would have been more willing to sign and give them my business and future referrals.

First experience of remediation and I have to say it was a good one. Miami mold specialists arrived like professionals with all the equipment and ready to work. They were here only one hour after I called them. They took control of the place and within 10 minutes I had air blowers and all sort of machines in the apartment. This company sent a team of specialists to my home to assess the need for a mold / air cleaning service. The team was very professional and with the aid of multiple gadgets they recommended to hire the service. We were concerned about continuous sneezing among members of my family and they ensured us that our air in the house had a lot of dust particles, there was mold and so on. They showed us several measurements in their gadgets and assured us that after their thorough cleaning exercise we were going to feel much better.They did perform the work, they show through photos and videos how they clean the house and apply different chemicals.The bottom line is that we did not experience any improvement, the sneezing continues. The specialists told us that if we had any issue we should call them back and they would return. When we called them back, they told us to call the office that refuses to return and check the situation. We ended paying $1500 and we have the feeling that we got ripped off. One suggestion I have is that they should come and show the measurements before and after the exercise so we can compare how the pollution percentages change after the cleaning. But they are not willing to return.

About 5 guys came into the house. Set up the air scrubber in the kitchen and the mold is on the second story ceiling. Simply plastered the the dry wall and painted over it.did not remediate anything. The black mold is still on the dry wall inside the attic. This is a category 3 level of mold infection. Will be contacting the insurance company

I manage several units in a very high end condo in the Edgewater area. One of the units had a leak and as a result, a lot of mold formed. We received several estimates and went with Miami Mold Specialists. They were great to work with! Many times I received a response to my e-mail after hours which was very impressive. Miami Mold Specialists did a thorough and complete job. I recently put in an offer on a Miami Beach condo. The inspection report found mold in the unit. One company that I requested a bid from quoted me $12,500.00. Obviously, they were going to take advantage of me because I live out of town. MMS quoted me $2,500.00. They explained the entire process to me beforehand. I was impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. The report that they gave me after the remediation was complete is an added bonus. I most certainly would use them again and strongly recommend them. I had a great experience with Miami mold specialists. I had a mold problem with our rental property. It was a unique situation because the roof had a bad leak and we were in the process of replacing the roof, however it was about a month away.When the specialists observed the property, they said the mold problem was bad and needed immediate treatment for the sake and health of the tenants. They were quick, explained everything well, and were good with being on time. That same day I received photos and videos of everything they did inside the property. A week or so after, they gave us a full report that was over the top with its detail.A month later my tenant was complaining of mold still being present. I didn’t think there was, but I called back the Miami mold specialists anyway for piece of mind. They came out. There was no mold but risidual moisture since the roof had just been repaired. They did a thermal treatment free of charge. Excellent service.The man who helped me was Alberto with Crew 1.

All of the other mold companies I consulted wanted to tear open multiple walls and break open the ceiling to perform the mold treatment, but MMS was able to get the job down with minimal removal of drywall. I so appreciated that! Also, their costs were much more reasonable than other quotes. Albertos team was very professional and patient with my questions and concerns. After 9 months to a year of my girlfriend and I feeling like we had brain-fog, waking up sluggish, having depressed thoughts, being constantly congested, running dehumidifiers, buying air purifiers and complaining to our landlord about the leaking humidity in the windows and walls (who said this was normal for Florida).....what finally broke the camels back was my girlfriend came down with the Flu while we were in NYC visiting family. When we got back to our apartment in Miami her cough kept getting worse and worse. I called on Tuesday, they were here by Thursday at noon. Victor and his crew knew there was mold as soon as they walked in the door and it took less than half an hour to take 4 samples and scan our unit where they eventually found black mold in the walls behind our kitchen cabinets, which was being sucked up by the A/C unit (across from the kitchen) and re-distributed into every room in our 2 bed/2 bath. We are breaking our lease and moving out and it should be a smooth process because of Miami Mold and Victor and Crew No. 3. I couldnt be more relieved and grateful for their services. They said the mold was from the AC, so they cleaned up, but they leave my home with a not working AC after the cleaning. They left to fast, they should be better for that! I was very pleased with the service received from Miami Mold Specialist. The technicians were very knowledgeable and professional. They were very informative throughout the process.The office staff were also very professional. They answered all my questions and my concerns. Equally important, they promptly answered my phone calls and helped me scheduled an appointment in a very short period of time.

I had Miami Mold Specialist do work at my home on July 16, 2020. I had a case of mold in my bedroom baseboard and drywall, green mold in my master bath, aspergillus in the HVAC system. The team comes in a group of about 4-5 guys all in protective coverall. For a 1,800 sq ft home, the work was completed in about 1hr and 45mins. Please note, each worker has a specific job so one might be done while the other employees are done. One deals with drywall removal, another person deals with HVAC cleaning, and so forth. They cleaned up any debris that was on floor and placed debris in trash bag. They were very organized in that matter. At the end when they left there was a few things that I had issues with such as the mold in the bathroom came back. The white caulking turned green in a few hours after the left. Also the leaking I had in the ceiling drywall of the kitchen area was not removed as I thought they would do initially. I voiced my concerns and management (Abraham) reached out to me later that night with a text message informing me that he will discuss the matter with me tomorrow morning. Tomorrow morning (7/17/20) Abraham called me and discussed the issues I had with the job performed and re-assured me that they would fix the issues promptly. The company dispatched a team of two employees to my home that same day after my call. They cleaned out the bathroom grout and removed the green mold and also removed the ceiling drywall in the kitchen in a orderly manner in addition to adding the fumes into the vent that prevents further mold from resurfacing. I want to say thanks to the team leaders Gio and Jesus for working on the home and a big shout out to Abraham for going out his way to make a customer happy.UPDATE: Similar to what Ivan wrote in a review here. I did not experience any improvement, the sneezing continues. I dont think the mold issue has been completely resolved at my home. At this point not sure what else to do. Just so people know I ended up shelling out $2,700 cash for a 1,800 sq foot home. I think best thing to do next time is to have a handyman remove the entire moldy wall and replace with new drywall for a quarter of the costs and use the remaining amount of money to install new air ducts. Assuming you had the same issues as I did. Good luck shoppers! The only reason Ill leave 3 stars is because of their customer service and communication by office manager.

We seen water damage around the bathroom and gave Miami mold specialists a call. They said it was my ac... they quoted me 2600 to clean up the ac and clear the mold. I agreed but had another company come in and give me a second opinion. We find out that the problem was coming from the bathroom(leak from the showerhead inside the wall). They were going to charge me for something that was not the cause of the problem. I called them to cancel my pay and they still charged me 300 dollars even though they didnt know what was the cause of mold.... I guess I should be happy it was 300 and not 2600.... would not recommend these guys..

They have been such a huge help in this process. I am a tenant dealing with an irrational landlord that is in denial of the mold issue found in my AC vents even with valid photos from the cameras Miami Mold Specialist stick down my vents identifying the mold . The report is in depth and the knowledge behind each staff member is very impressive. As stressed as I have been they have been a huge help in guiding me through this difficult situation. I hope my landlord ends up hiring for them for the remediation as I whole heartedly trust them to take care of the mold problem.

Miami mold specialist are very professional and did an amazing job removing the mold in our home.

They canceled on me 3 days making up lies as to why they were canceling last minute. On the third day in a row canceling they lied and said my security wouldn’t let them do the inspection but my security said they never even came to the building. They are a scam and very unprofessional
