There’s a new young guy with a beard working here and he’s made this place much better. He answers your questions and seems genuinely interested in helping the customers. He’s super sweet too.

If the people in these reviews went into this post office practicing a little compassion and patience, they might have a different experience. Everyone is so nice at this post office.

I have been in a post office in an actual 3rd world country that was cleaner. Bring your hazmat suit & sanitizer. Then get ready to basically keep asking What?! to one of the female employees that looks like she is speaking to you but actually in a private phone call with her friend into her earbud. Sad, sad America we are living in.

The only postal worker that is always here seems like a kind enough man, but also reminds me of Flash Sothmore from Zootopia. This particular location reminds me of an old hoarder’s storage basement because it’s so messy and dirty.

8:15am this morning and branch totally in the dark, lights are not on when they are supposed to be opened at 8am. No notice or guidance on the door. This is getting worse and worse here, not to mention the bunch of lunatics I have to deal with, when I can make it through the door ! Unforgivable !

I came at 4:58pm and it was already closed. They wouldn’t let me in. They are supposed to close at 5:30pm

Today I went there and the lady close 5 minutes before the closing time in my face and refused to open. Totally disappointed!

Even if there is no one in front of you, they still make you wait. There were two associates at the counter, as soon as I come in, one of them walks away into the back, and the other is on her cell phone. Now there is a line... finally she tells me she is ready, but as I approach the counter and tell her what I need, she walks away to help someone who just arrived and wants some mailing certificates. Meanwhile I am still standing waiting to be helped. Finally I pointed the fact that I was there before him, and he should wait his turn. To this he responds that he is no waiting on line, and reaches over the counter and helps himself to the mailing certificates...she didnt even object to this... 🤔

They are not better than any other post office. Always long lines, usually one person is working. If you got pre-paid mail might be faster. Used to live in this area for 8 years and has been multiple times at this location, nothing change for the years. Usps employees got secure jobs and they are part of the union, which means its almost impossible to lose the job and thats why none of them provide good customer service. As a truck driver unfortunately I had a chance to deliver at the usps warehouses accros the country and more or less everywhere is the same. Slow and not pleasant experience.

You must exercise patience when using this post office. While Ive never had an issue, the postal workers could be much easier to deal with.I wouldnt recommend going to another location because of its convenience, but try coming here without expectations of it being a premier shipping facility.Its a government-run facility with pension-based staff. What do you expect?

Only at the Carl Fisher post office branch could a simple customer question about the difference in the postal rate of $1.90 versus $4.81 offered on the check-out screen escalate into a postal clerk losing her mind and screaming at the customer that she speaks for the machine, the machine doesnt speak for me. Absolutely the most pathetic and unprofessional organization of any sort I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with...and I have been coming here 2 or 3 times a week for 14 years. I am a glutton for punishment, I suppose. Shockingly poor.

Excellent employees. However this is the most dilapidated and dirty post office I have ever been to in my life. A hole at the bottom of the counter has been taped up with cardboard for years.

I saw the ratings for this usps store and have to say it’s very accurate unfortunately. For someone that doesn’t mail things on a regular basis, no options were provided, packing tape or guidance whatsoever. I was there at 8am and then again at 5pm for the same package... long story short I took my services to UPS

Worst. Place. Ever. I asked for help doing my passport application and she acted like I wanted her kidney. Gave me a pen then told me it was the wrong color ink after I filled out the application. I asked her how I should send it and she replied ‘how do you want to send it?’ Then gave me attitude because I didn’t know what a secure method of sending is. Cause I’m a mind reader. This is why the post office is in trouble. Horrible people. I ended up just leaving without sending the frigin thing.

This place is small but the problem is rudeness!! There is this lady that claims her name is Angie but who knows since she is the only one with no name tag!! She was extremely rude to EVERYONE!! Some guy that was in front of me was even trying to tell her in a nice way to be nice, but she was very unprofessional and rude. It also not the first time dealing with her rudeness. I got back In line and was attended by Marlene or something like that and she was so nice and polite!! She is the only reason why I didn’t put one star!!

They lost my Mothers Day Cards!! I send 3 every year, Mom, Grandma and Aunt. I handed them to the clerk, she must hate white people. We all have a mother!! How disrespectful!! I spent almost $30 on cards because it was for Mothers Day. And they lost them!!! I even had tracking, but no one could, or wouldnt bother to find them. Worst part is, that was my Grandmothers last year alive, and she never got her Mothers Day Card!!! This never happened before in my life, and it was the only time I used this location. How are these people still working for USPS?

So we drove to the post office and I waited outside in the car for my husband to send our marriage certificate to his mom. Im very happy the post office ladies were looking out, and the quality of service in general at this location is pretty good. The waiting time isnt good and there usually isnt enough pens. Please read the short story to understand why I want to say thank you to the post office ladies.Hugh: Ok, baby will be right back (as he almost bends the marriage certificate)Me: Baby dont you dare bend that marriage certificate.Hugh: Oh baby, it will be fine. I may have to bend it to fit in the envelope.Me: No it does not have to be bent, please be careful with it.Moments later he comes back with a smile on his face and laughing.Me: What happened?Hugh: Oh baby, you got so lucky. The ladies in the post office saw me trying to bend the marriage certificate to fit in the envelope and they suddenly stopped me and said, Dont fold it send it out, or your mama is gonna be mad. You better not fold that thing. And then post office lady #2 said I cant believe you were about to fold that! Typical man.The lady then put the certificate in a flat envelope to make sure it didnt get bent.Me: Im glad someone else was making sure you didnt bend it. I have been through too many past bad relationships, patience and hard work to see you bend our marriage certificate.Hugh: Yes baby.Thank you ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They helped me get stamps and the correct ones for international mail. Even though it seemed they were out, the very friendly staff checked in the back and found some more.

The women are so kind and patient. I have seen the RUDEST CUSTOMERS and they still maintain patience. I brought them thank you doughnuts!! Not an easy job.

Horrible doesnt begin to cover it, for several reasons. First, employees lack basic communication skills and common courtesy. PLEASE change closing time on website. When you fail to carry your business accordingly, it affects the businesses of others. Good luck to others when visiting this post office. Try not to let it ruin the rest of your day!

Unbelievably rude lady at counter. Three people before me were treated with disrespect, and off course me too.

The woman behind the counter was the absolute Rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. No wonder the post office is going bankrupt. I left immediately and did not send my package with USPS. With customer service this bad at USPS, I will happily pay double to go to fedex.

One of the worst USPS offices in Miami. They are lazy and not helpful. There not one good USPS office at Miami Beach. And why doesnt USPS do something about this. I have filled several complaints and I am sure other people have.

I understand the poor reviews from people on here, but disgaree on the point that all employees are terrible at this branch. In actuality, only the middle-aged black woman with curly hair and glasses is extremely rude. Only in public service could she maintain her career with such disregard for basic customer service. Everyone else I find helpful and pleasant, ESPECIALLY the oldest black lady (sorry I didnt note thier names). She is actually very congenial and all around a great asset to the USPS.This said the hours for this branch were already terrible, and now they have shrunk them further!? Its already ridiculous that they are not open weekends, that really is bad enough. I came in for self-service (lobby and box access) a few minutes before 18:00, and low and behold they have reduced self-serve hours to match to full-service hours! Terrible and pathetic.

This is an uncomfortable place to come. The service is awful. Every time I had visited the ladies who works there are rude, are not willing to help at all! They are always in bad mood and actitud. This is the most convenient usps for me but I’m not coming back!

The representatives here really just dont care. Our mail carrier NEVER comes upstairs to retrieve packages that have been scheduled a pickup, and when we go to this location theyre always extremely rude. Lines are always long, and theres usually only one person working the desk.

They lose the dropped off packages and then when you ask they dont know nothing, sending me to talk with the manager in another office, an african american big woman with curly hair, she is like an army sergeant or worst, she dont even answer you if you say hi, how are you? or good morning, people smile to her or make a joke, she dont even watch your face, she looks like she hate to be there and hate all of us too, bad face, dismiss her, there is so many people who want ther job, she dont deserve it, the other african american woman, the small one she is a complete sweet heart but that one make all the people who goes there feel bad after goes out of that office, nasty customer service, is a shame

Terrible Customer Service. Louis was rude and hostile. The store was dirty and everyone who works there seems miserable. Never coming back to this location.

The service was below average. Reps listen to their headphones while they are attending you. I can not take out the image in my head of the apathetic faces of the employees. No wonder nobody likes going to the Post Office, its a disaster truthfully. I wish the experience would have been at least average, but we have come to expect this from USPS; a common theme in most Offices nationwide.

I don’t understand why people working in USPS is so unhelpful and rude. They look at you like you’re the slave or something. When I asked for help with my order she told me that I have to call customer service and when I asked what number to dial she said “you don’t know how to find usps number”. That’s crazy.

Customer service is horrible, they rush to answer your questions and hang up the phone before you can even get a thank you out or ask another question. Why work in an a place where customer service is customary if you are not going to provide it?
