Just an FYI because nowhere can these prices be found it is now 18$ for a mens cut. Have not used the service but called about pricing. Seems they are booking up and you should book several days ahead as well.

Appointment process works very well. Perry always makes experience enjoyable.

It has the feel of the old time barbershop but also keeping up with the times. I dont have any problems with calling ahead to make an appointment.

The place has been open for decades and seems like a popular barber shop in the area based on the amount of customers I encountered when I came in. It feels very cozy and looks like an antique shop. Both barbers there do an excellent job and know their stuff. I can guarantee you will have a well rounded pleasant experience there.

Its easy for me to get to, I can walk to the house and over to the barber shop. Theyre nice and friendly, and a good place to wait until my turn to get in the barber chair. Im not fussy about a lot of things, but I am about who cuts my hair 😁

Been patronizing this shop for over 10 years and wont go anywhere else until they retire. I usually choose John because he is a good friend and because he is absolutely meticulous. His attention to detail is remarkable. Recently Ive shown him photos of styles I wanted to try. He is able to help me select the best for my face shape, etc. and to explain why one is better than another. Then he executes the style to perfection. Last but not least, both finish off the haircut with a hot lather shave of the neck using a straight blade. And all of this costs just $16.00!

My first Barber shop ever. Nice place, with a nice Barber with a good sense of humour. He did a very good job while he keep saying that he only started doing haircut in the morning (Actually, he has over 30 years of experience, dont worry). Great moment !

Excellent experience and great attention to detail. I got the exact cut that I asked for on top of having my eyebrows, ears, nose, and lower neck trimmed. The straight razor finish definitely was a great touch! I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a quality cut for a great price and great conversation

This place is the barbershop of your younger days, for those over 40, and I would tell you, if your looking for a good haircut this is the place to go. This place is so Old School it has a rotary phone. Google called while I was there wanting a survey done by pressing buttons. Only humans can call here. Fantastic haircut trimmed my eyebrows, ears, and nose hair. Hot shaving cream and a straight razor to clean up the neck and ears. Dont be in a hurry. You may have to wait, but its worth it.

This is the barbershop of my dreams. If only it were located in the Pere Marquette Building in New Orleans. However, the amount of personal attention I receive there is unsurpassed. I recommend Perry and his colleague, John, for their superb knowledge of dandruff remedies, barbershop conversation, and their excellent hair cuts. Nothing is post-modern here, including the wait list, which is determined by physically sitting in place rather than by means of an appointment calendar. In addition, they have Rollling Stone to read while you wait.

If youve got 1.5 hours to kill (with only 3 people ahead of you) and want a haircut, this place is up your alley. Im sure theyre great, but they are slow as hell; and I want to stay employed.

I have been living in this area for 25 years. Forget the new places. This is the real deal.
