Took over month and a half to figure out they didnt know what they where supposed to be there for. Took two months to figure out the rental car dude handling our claim would not answer calls texts or emails untill calling a different office.... .
Let me tell you about this situation I was canceled by the under writing team .I am still lost with this one like please help me they was so rude. I couldnt get a word in I just paid my bill too a now I am with out insurance and because of the lapse in coverage I have a flag to pay $125.00 and every where I called the rate went through the roof over 200.00 dollars now your like what to do .I cant do nothing but pay it and be broak. Or loose my license. The whole situation is not but worth prayer. Or sit in depression I was was but I cant I have to keep looking around for a reasonable insurance.

So I just got a new car yesterday by the time I finished with all the paperwork it was too late to go to the insurance company. The next day I went to three different companies who were trying to charge me 400-600 a month which was way too high. I called progressive and talked to a very nice and helpful lady named Michelle. She was amazing she helped me over the phone get the best quote and she also helped me with discounts and promotional things that got my payment under $300 I was so pleased she really went the extra mile. Where to even begin with this place.I unfortunately got in a wreck and needed to have my car repaired.I figured I would use this very (not so in the long run) convenient claim center. I mean who would not like to drop of your car, pick up your rental, and be done with it until its repaired. Well the first 2 steps worked like a charm. That last step however was a headache and a half.I set up and appointment to pick up my car and drop off the rental. Show up, drop off the rental keys, pay and wait for my keys to come from the back. Easy enough right?Well when we go out to look at the car after the repairs I instantly notice a HUGE crack in the bumper right in the impact zone. I point it out immediately and ask why it was not fixed. It goes down hill from there.They come out and say that the crack was not fixed because it was caused by previous, unknown to me, damage to the vehicle. They also say this crack is UNDER the bumper... where it clearly started on the side of the car directly next to/ in the impact zone.They tell me they look at 1000s of wrecks a year and can tell me with 100% certainty that A. this was not caused by this wreck and B. its under the car. (see attached picture.) Im DUMBFOUNDED. I point to the crack, I point to everything that has been replaced, I point to under the car... I point to the crack again... I point to UNDER THE CAR.They look at picture of everything and say yes the crack is there (not letting me see the pictures very where mind you) and say the only way they are fixing this is if I file another claim. Also they were apparently supposed to go around the car with me and X or circle all damage to be repaired or previous damage... they did not do this.I ask to speak to a supervisor (Robert), he was not in but calls me about 10 minutes after I get home, instantly refuses the claim and says I have to file another one. I ask to speak to his supervisor, Kyle, who actually calls me the next day. In the mean time I took it to an independent shop and had them look at it, they said it should have been fixed... and they could tell just by look at what else had been fixed.Well Kyle calls me back, Kyle ask for a few more pictures of the crack. Standing back a few feet while someone pointed to where it started etc.After less than 4 hours of a work day and Kyle having the pictures on his desk he immediately calls me and approves the part to be repaired. He said he did not know why they said it was under the vehicle other than it was big enough and curved under the car. They also had no pictures that showed the crack BEFORE going into the shop etc (this could also be because it was hard to see unless you were right up on it). So even if it might not have been caused in the wreck (99.999999999% sure it was caused in the wreck), it got damaged somewhere along the lines after it left my care.Regardless, something that should have been obviously to most, IE a crack on the side of a car verse just under a car, is NOT obvious to this establishment. They are out to deny any and all responsibility and not make your life easier. If it was not for Kyle (who honestly gave me a bit of faith in the company), this would have been going all the way to the insurance commission in Louisiana. He even said this should have been solved 2 steps before getting to him.I am on the market for a new insurance company and will not recommend progressive to anyone along the way... especially considering the amount of money you have to pay in Louisiana for insurance.

My car was stolen a few weeks ago. Losing a car during covid-19 has been a emotional ride during this bleak time in our economy. You dont realize how much losing a vehicle will take a toll on your life until it happens. When it first occured I thought my car would be recovered so the emotions didnt seep in. I also looked up numerous websites showing great projections of car recovery. As the days went by that phone call from the police never came. It didnt hit me until a few days later of what not having transportation during this time really means, but I am so appreciative for John F.. Im definitely not a easy customer to deal with because I ask a lot of questions and called often when new questions came to mind John F. went beyond his job description and answered all questions, guiding me through the process of things I needed to do, and even gave me emotional encouragement during the entire process. Im still in a space of searching for a car to replace the other, but I am so appreciative for everything you have done and I will be insured by progressive in the future. Thanks for everything John. I really appreciate the services that you have provided.
Progressive does not save you up to 40% they add up to 40%. Switched to State Farm insurance went from $587 a month to $221 a month. Stay away from Progressive and Geico they are a big rip off!!!!

I wouldnt wish my worst enemy to get in a car accident with another driver covered by Progressive... Progressive driver was 100% liable. They offered me a low ball property damage payout (several of their comps had been in wrecks, really?). I declined. They then offered me something reasonable which I accepted. They wasted my time getting my check prepared when I came in - was supposed to be ready to pick up. Then, icing on the cake, they neglected to pay off my lien holder. It has be 3.5 weeks now, and they still havent paid. I have had to pay additional monthly payments and interest due to their ineptitude. Trying to get them to admit they owe me the interest is more painful that pulling my own teeth. I had literally 4 different adjusters assigned to my case - different one every time. Seriously a nightmare and not sure why anybody would ever purposefully put themselves through this by purchasing insurance from Progressive.
My insurance has lapsed twice with Progressive because of misleading information on their app and website profile. I have paid the state hundreds of dollars because my profile on Progressive showed information that was incorrect or incredibly misleading. I received no responses from the emails I sent to avoid these lapse charges. Their customer service reps wouldnt budge or even act understanding of any of the issues that I was having.
Fraudulent Claims adjusters work here.Tried to total my car out over a fender bender. Low and behold after forcing /Terry J Puglis/ to show me every single part on my car that needed to be replaced, there was over +$1k in non damaged parts removed from my estimate, meaning my car should actually be repaired, not totaled. And if you want to talk to these scam artist on the phone? Well get ready to spam redial the number about 12 times per incident to get one of them to answer.FYI Terry, Human resources is just my first complaint about you. Next is seeking legal action over falsely claiming my property a total lost when it should have never been.

Progressive insurance conspires against its own clients. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!I was t-boned by a teenage airhead who was playing on her phone when she hit me and Progressive conspired with Liberty Mutual to blame me for the collision.This is an evil company that employs evil and conspires against its own clients.They are the worst insurance company in the history of the world.
Be very careful with Progressive if you own an old car, and in my case old was a 2002 Saab. If parts are not available from one of their approved suppliers (Progressive does not allow shopping for parts on eBay or from salvage yards...period), then they write you a small, pissant check for best practices repairs and walk away from your car. They could care less that your car may never be driven again...not their problem even though they gladly accepted your insurance premium for years. Disgusting attitude, and yes Ill be shopping for a new insurance provider this year.
My experience with them was horrible! It took over a month just for them to investigate my claim. I called the claim rep numerous times and it always went to voicemail. My calls weren’t returned and my emails were unanswered. Tried calling someone else but every time you called the progressive number it led me back to the horrible claim rep (Olivia Pelong). I was not at fault and they did not help me get my car fixed. I’m currently switching and never going back again!

Very very rude customer service specially the adjuster with the name of Earnest Carter, I was not at fault in the car crash the police officer told me so, so that meant that Progressive was going to take care of the damage of my car well they didn’t I had to come out of pocket to finish paying for my repairs it’s NOT FAIR WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER
They get in no hurry wit repairing ur car, i didnt hav rental insurance, when i returned the rental car, they forgot my reciept and didnt confirm the transaction so i was still gettin charged for my out of pocket rental, and the car was a cheaper smaller make/model than my car.. Not happy.. Then the deadline was wednesday 11th and now its friday and theyr sayin it mite b monday.. Not happy nor am i satisfied.. They r not hands on AT ALL!! they wanted ne to do everything from my phone app.. Laziness.. And customer service was horrible.. Yaw r like mcdonalds false ads, always fresh never frozen yaws is always false never real.. And emails r not good communication when yaw wont answer phone calls!!
