Rented a truck Aug. 11 2021Havent as yet received my deposit back . so if you use one of their trucks dont use your Credit Card give them cash ONLY !!

Wasnt up front with truck availability and requirements for certain trucks. The extra charges I disagreed with since I returned it before the time given and filled up the gas tank. Had to rent one anyway.

Made my rental quick and easy

Employees clueless! I went online in order to save $80 on deposit AND 20% OFF rental. After completing, I received confirmation by email from what I assumed was the Budget Rental Corp. Without hesitation I used Google Maps only to find myself at a dinky, run down, dirty little counter. Without maps, I wouldnt have thought the main gas station was open. I begin telling employee my name and size truck along with why it was reserved online. He was unable to find any such confirmation even with my email showing pickup time/location. After 10-15 min wait in which employee had called for assistance several times, I was instructed to return in 20 min so that he could eat and wait for boss to come reserve the truck. I hadnt made it around the block before I received a random text from an unknown # reading he just showed up. No explanation as to who it was or that it was truck rental related. Upon returning seconds later I pass what appears to be manager and hope for the best. Same uneducated employee appears to have been able to reserve my spot but not for the same size truck! According to him, the Corp office (same people responsible for email) needed the truck they issued me and theyve made it impossible. I settle for a 12 instead of 16 for our 3 bedroom home relocation. I questioned the 20% and he assured it was applied. He also seemed flexible on return time even though hed put in 12:30 unlike the after hours option available online. Realizing we underestimated time needed with truck I call & its the same kid that had rented yesterday. I begin with questioning why the line on receipt for 20% discount was blank only to hear that I must call the following day so that his boss could possibly fix it! Wtheck?? I did as instructed and called. The guy says he doesnt really work there but only on Sun cause their slow. I should call 800 # on receipt to square away discount & request more rental time. At 4 pm, I call and receive a recording that there is no available. Reluctantly I left my name/# but unfortunately I have yet to hear anything!

Got a truck reservation online and when we got there at the schedule time to pick up we were told there was no truck for us and we had to travel another 20 miles plus to get a truck that we needed. Then we had to call customer service to have a transfer. Why do we have to do the extra work when budget didnt have the truck that was on reservation. To not get a call before going up there is just bad service.

Just left THIS location. There were a bunch of guys just standing around joking. We had to ask if they worked there. We didnt feel welcomed at all. So unprofessional. Hopefully the Garland location will be more helpful.

If I could give this a place a ZERO star rating I would. The man behind the counter was the most rude and unhelpful person I think I have ever had to deal with. I would recommend finding another location or just go to U-Haul

They are the cheapest and really great.

Ive rented from uhaul and Penske. This was my first budget. I drove over two weeks before the move glad I did. With out going into to much horrific detail. I STRONGLY recommend the garland location. These people suck!!!

If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely horrible service. I booked a truck online 3 weeks before our move. The day we were to pick up the truck we arrived on time and expecting a truck. So I go in, tell the guy we are here to pick up our moving truck. He gets my name and says which truck. I told him the big one and I booked the rental several weeks prior. He proceeded to tell me well we dont have a big one here. So again I said I booked it online so your suppose to have one. Now he sayswell we dont have it what am I suppose to do about it. If I dont have it I dont have it.. So needless to say I was very upset as we only had 2 days to pack and needed a truck. He then tells me he can try to call around but I might have to drive 30 mins to an hour away to get a truck from a different location. I just let him know I would take my business to the uhaul place right down the street. Very poor customer service.

Terrible, terrible service. I was promised that the car trailer I rented from them would be hooked up for me. When we were ready to leave, there was no one there that knew how to hook it up. It took us over an hour to figure out how to do it. They also forgot to give us the hand dolly I had been charged for. The truck itself was banged up, had a hole in the roof corner, and the wipers desperately needed to be replaced. When I called to make a complaint, the representative Hung up on me. Will never use Budget again.
