PeopleReady is a good source of fast income. The mesquite office is trouble and unprofessional. The branch Manger Jennifer is very rude and has no regrets letting you know she is the branch manger. The office is inconsistent paying out and the employers have confirmed your hours. The office is closed for some reason everyday, and getting someone on the phone to help you is completely out the question. Good luck 👍I hope soon theres a change in the mesquite office because its unprofessional.

The staff was nice and got me jobs the same day, but I have yet to be paid the same day that the work was done. People ready was supposed to pay the same day but here my family is the second day in a row we are hungery out of gas and no money for a room and no money.

I have worked for people ready off/on since about 2008, so I have worked for all the different branches throughout the DFW metroplex. Yesterday I was contracted through the mesquite branch to work for a company that deals with sound equipment for concerts/events. The shift was from 1:30pm-6pm. I was not paid the same day (which is understandable given what time I got off) but today when I woke up I was STILL not paid out. I waited until noon before I reached out to the branch, the phone just rang and rang no answer but when I finally did talk to someone her only response was well were still waiting on the customer to send the ticket(hrs sheet) no sense of urgency at all. 2hrs goes by and I call back and she pretty much says the same thing but she informs me that 15mins ago she emailed the customer to get my hours. I called the sound company that I worked for and she had no knowledge of anything. After calling corporate and calling the branch and speaking with the sound company I FINALLY got paid out.Posted at 3:38pm

Terrible, they make you think they have jobs in the area ready to go at your own pace and then most of them are over 15 miles so you can be outsourced to a different locations these people basically find ads on Indeed then take the job and tax you for that job so if it pays 13 an hour you only get 10 an hour and hide it with supposed taxes but the actual company would hire you for more. Imagine, getting cheated out of your pay during a pandemic .. you wont have to with them or most staffing companies nowadays.

Ive been with People Ready since way back when it was Labor Ready days and I have always had great service,jobs,communication and understanding.. If your willing to work and want to work this is the place.. Shout out to Brittany up there too she always gets you a good job and pays you the same day even when you call and bug her 😃. Brittany and all staff are great with communication, scheduling, job tickets, etc. Brittany calls me with any questions she may have and leaves an open line of communication with me if I need anything. People ready mesquite is a great outfit and I would recommend anyone who are looking for day labor/temp/temp to perm work. You guys kick A$$ for us workers haha thank you so much!!

Its been months n they still havent got no jobs.. they only offer job that you are not qualified for... they only offer material handling but promote forklift n other jobs..and the pay is horrible no adult can survive on 11 hr

When you call the location the staff acts as if they are too busy to talk with you. Instead of looking up information in their system they give you generic answers to rush you off the phone. In most cases you have to end up calling back so that someone else will finally look up the information and assist you with what you originally called for. A 5 min call can turn into a whole day of trying to get a simple answer. Its literally their job to make sure we are given proper information to work and are provided proper information from their client to pay us for the work done but they make it seem as if its a burden or an annoyance to answer simple questions or resolve simple issues.

I showed up for a job on time, but was told to go home because the customer decided they wanted 1 less person. I was not told this until I got there. I could have went on another job and got paid ..... They also refused to give me show up pay. so this branch cost me money plus no show up pay plus transportation cost reimbursement.

I used to believe this company had great communication skills. After reading the 1 star reviews, it donned on me. This company has always been very poor with communicating with their workers. I was supposed to get jobs through their supposedly convenient job stack app. I did it and at first there were glitches. I shouldve used thst as a warning but I didnt. I continued to try and make this opportunity work because it opened doors to what I thought would be extra money. Time passed and it got worse they would take you off a ticket to put someone they know, a friend but when that friend couldnt make it they would put you back on or call and ask if you wanted the job again. Noone really communicates and i know alot of people have been frustrated with the service. They dont do background checks so they feel everyone who works for them is a criminal or at least they act like that. Please heed my warning this is not a good place to work please try other day labor companies that actually care about you as well also. I was supposed to get text message alert because I lost my privilege of jobstack after my daughters care taker took off for family emergencies and it was counted against me even after I communicated the issue with a couple of people. Please dont be fooled by the 5 stars either all of those are fabricated. Those 5 stars came from people who received their pay on time not from good service. This is the only location that gives people a hard time as well as not communicate anything. They act as if its issues they have no control. Its horrible.

Sylvia branch manager 1425 always have an attitude and threatens people that she will fire you if there any type of family emergency. Sylvia branch manager gives false information just so peopleready general labor workers can take jobs to make her office money and her numbers look good for the month. This the first branch manager (Sylvia) for peopleready I encountered in 8 years of helping peopleready that have no compassion for the workers well being, unorganized, unprofessional, not detailed oriented when she send people out for jobs.

This place is so racist. First, no one if the office is African American, not one single employee. Secondly, they blocked me from the app because of one job assignment. I called before leaving due to family emergency, and they are claiming I never called so they blocked me on the app. When I called Irma provided me with the wrong number, when I asked for corporate . Then she proceeded to ask me if I wanted her to help me spell it, in an attempt to belittle me. As I type this, they have me on hold for over 10 minutes because I called them out for being racist. I’ve been on job sites where no one speaks English, which baffles me. How can someone who doesn’t speak English whatsoever be allowed to work. This agency shows preference to Mexicans .

The company I worked for used these guys for years. It was difficult to get quality people. Most of the time if they showed up they would leave before the work was done. They only dispatch their people via text and dont support all carriers. I tried to go through them to get work a few months ago because I had a long time professional relationship with them and couldnt get set up with the job text notification and was finally told that they didnt know what the problem was and would contact there IT department I didnt here from them for another 3 months when I recieved 3 or 4 texts about a job then nothing else.

I would give this place zero stars if I could very unprofessional they can deny you a job with out explanation at least thats what happened to me I wouldnt one of the girls is rude and doesnt have any communication skills what so ever

Its clean, the staff is very respectful, and theirs a 90% chance that youll go out and get some kind of work for that day, if u get off your ass and go up there.
