Been working out here for some time. Its a great gym. The equipment is fine, and even when packed I can usually find access to the equipment to workout. The movie room is a nice addition, it makes biking and running a little easier. My only grips and reason for the 3 stars is, the disinfectant bottles are empty way too much and it makes.cleaning the equipment difficult, and I dont see a lot of people cleaning after they use the equipment, but of course the staff can only do so much about that. Its also a little irritating that the big gymnasium cant be used unless there is classes going. Theres not a lot of room to do unique workouts that require space, I used to use the gymnasium for this reason, but now there is a sign on the door that it cant be used. Oh and theres not nearly enough mats for workouts on the floor. Other than that, great gym, great prices, great staff.

I really enjoy working out here! I love the pool hot tub & the movie theater room.... Those 3 things are a big plus for me! It makes working out super fun, not to mention all the classes included with the membership. Great deal!

One of the best gyms I have ever been to. Good equipment, regular weekly fitness programs and a welcoming environment. Brad one of the personal trainers there was fantastic and informative. He has helped me to recover from a crippling rotator cuff tear. By far one of the most patient, knowledgeable, and professional individuals I have ever worked with. Could not possible recommend this place and their training more heavily.

This gym provides the perfect environment for me in working to achieve my goals. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who wants a great place to train.

The facility itself is nice and kept clean enough. The workout equipment is functional and there is variety. However, the staff is blah. Don’t bother signing up for a personal trainer. Zero consistency and they seem to like to play musical chairs passing you on from trainer to trainer. Good luck trying to talk to someone in charge. If you are looking for motivation and or a catalyst this probably isn’t the gym for you.

This club has been trying to charge my card for almost a year now since I’ve canceled. I canceled in Nov 2019, they just called me (it’s Oct 2020) and have been calling me & said they couldn’t process my payment. The location isn’t even open anymore. Joke!

YouFit is the best gym. Its simple yet has everything I need in a workout. Great classes. Every machine necessary. Private rooms with enough space for my own workouts. And a sauna to end a great sweat sesh. Gyms dont need tanning beds and massage chairs. They need a great atmosphere and a sweat room.

Its a very chill location, never too busy. Having access to racquetball and hot tubs for half of what my old gym was (without those features) is awesome. The bring a guest feature is great.

Good gym here. Lots of cable machines to spare, as well as bench presses/squat racks that hardly anyone spends too much time on. Thats the biggest selling point here too: THIS GYM IS EMPTY. Nice place to finish the workday/begin the day strong.

This is a awesome place to workout, the staff is always friendly and polite, they never fail to greet you as you come in. Every seems to always have a smile on there face.. the equipment is constantly being wipe down and the locker rooms are always being cleaned.. the bottom line is the staff has created a very friendly and welcome environment..

Good gym. Staff is nice but does not respond when they are notified of broken equipment. Several pieces have been broken for over a month despite the fact that I have personally told them several times of the issues.Agree with a previous review. People are not wiping down equipment and there are not enough signs up reminding them to do so.

This business dishonest. They continue to charge membership fees during a global pandemic. They did not reach out to any customers to freeze their accounts until they reopen. For this reason I will be canceling my membership for good.

There are so many classes for everyones age and need. The equipment is awesome, everyone is very friendly and the place is very clean. The cost is very affordable for everything they have to offer you.

Truly sad that youfit took advantage of members by deducting fees when the gym was closed due to covid. Most reputable gyms suspended fees when the gyms closed. I sent 2 emails and no response. I filed a complaint with BBB. Then a friend forwarded an email that the mesa gym was closing. Now I am forced to send a certified letter with receipt return requested for $6.95 to cancel my membership to Florida. By the time they receive it they will try to charge me for June. What is even worse is that I never signed anything with youfit gym. They bought out my membership from fitness works whom I never had an issue with. Total nightmare.😟

Astounded by the lack of professionalism and disregard for loyal customers by the YouFit Corporation. After 3 months of supporting a business who was closed due to COVID-19 (understandable), my husbands membership at the Mesa (Recker) location was automatically transferred to the Higley location when the Mesa gym permanently closed its doors on May 25, 2020. We were not given the option, nor time to cancel our membership as the Higley gym is farther from our house. In order to cancel our membership, we have to send a mailed letter to their corporate office in Florida, significantly prolonging the cancellation process. We are not able to reach their corporate offices or any of the local gyms as they are all once again closed for COVID. NOW we have been charged an additional $49.99 annual registration fee even though my husband has only had his membership for 7 months. I can only assume it is because he is technically now a member at a new location without his consent. Emails have been sent with no reply. Messages sent via their official social media platform. Phone calls have been made with no way to leave messages. After being charged an additional $49.99, I would consider YouFit to be edging on fraud. Truly disheartening that a company would take advantage of people who have loyally supported them through closure by making it impossible to stop their charges.

I have been using this gym for ten years. When You Fit took over there has been great improvement, specifically in the pool and Jacuzzi. Yes, its older and not fancy but this is the place to come if you want a friendly, comfortable environment for your exercise . Try the Aqua Fit classes for a great workout yet easy on your joints.

Be very wary of signing up for personal training at this gym, they make cancellation difficult and continued to charge me 4 months after I requested in person that they cancel all of my services due to moving far from another youfit. I was assured in person it had been cancelled, on the phone and then told today I can only cancel by certified letter. Cancellation would only take effect 30 days after sending the letter, so I am going to be charged again with no offer of a refund or redress of any kind. I have emailed their corporate office who have not responded.Edit: I emailed a few times, no response yet.

I had been researching Youfit and read somewhat good reviews on this gym. I was excited to visit and get a tour, as this gym is near my home. The tour went well until we came to look at prices. My spouse and I were deciding which plan would be best for us. Once we asked for a guest pass, which is obtainable on the company’s website. The kid helping us quickly said he would talk to his manager. He came back explaining that we could just pay a dollar and get the month free. Which later turned to just pay a dollar and get three days free. The manager then came in and was explaining that we wouldn’t get an idea of the gym on one day pass. That is understandable, however during our first encounter with the kid giving us a tour, we explained we recently got burned on our old gym and that we were not committing to anything today. The kid kept telling us that today is 1.00 special and that who knows what tomorrow’s promo will be. Well upon further research before coming to this gym, Youfit had the same special for 1.00 last month. I did not come to this gym to be pushed into signing up. We had advised we would be coming back, just wanted to look and discuss what would be best for us. After we had advised multiple times that we were not signing up today they finally got the hint. However everyone’s demeanor changed and was no longer helpful nor friendly. Its upsetting as a consumer we were really considering this gym, but it appears that if they don’t get their way then they are just done with the conversation. When we walked out it felt like we dodge a bullet. If they treat potential buyers as such how do they treat someone that actually pays?

Very friendly staff works at this location. They have a ton of equipment from free weights to all the machines. They offer a free workout with a trainer and the 20$ a month cost gives you access to the pool and also the sauna, with half off all drinks.

I love working at Youfit keeping the gym clean and keeping the Mens Room nice and clean. It is also nice because the staff are really nice and Jennifer is the best Female Maintenance worker ever she does a really good job at keeping the place clean especially the Womens Restroom she works hard keeping it clean. she is 1# Female Maintenance worker. Youfit is definitely the best 1# gym in the whole nation. They earned my Business

You closed the gym for a so called virus. If your going to get sick, the gym is the place to catch everything. So if there has not been a case reported at the gym why close. You interfere with my schedule, but I guarentee youll take my monthly fee. You probably will not pay your employees for their forced time off. Or you will make them do some menial task to earn it.

I love the Recker and Brown location. Great staff, Super clean, Big and spacious with clean pool, hot tub, and bathrooms. Its all new. Love working out there. The Gilbert location is not a new building and is often grimy feeling. Needs some more remodeling and better cleaning crew. It is also cramped. I will never go in the hot tub again at the Gilbert location.

Great equipment, Great staff!! I got signed up with Cory and Ive been more motivated to stay on track at this gym than any other before. Pool, jacuzzi, sauna, free weights, cable weights, plenty of trainers available, and all at an affordable rate. I highly recommend this gym.

I would give 0 stars if i could. Worst club ever!!! Trainer is awesome - over bill and hassle to get your refund for over-charges! Just mailed my membership cancellation and am fighting with them over my refund and training fees for training that cant happen as the club is CLOSED!!!

Great price! You can cancel anytime! I love the theater room they play new movies and you dont even realize you were biking so long! Its nice and cold in there! They have yoga and pool Zumba great for old knees!

Definitely my favorite gym Ive gone to, the employees are the best! I cannot say one bad thing about this place. I feel as though Im always treated very friendly by all of the staff, and its a very clean, very nice environment. Ive been to pretty much every other gym and I definitely like this one the best.

There are usually a lot of people here but there is more than enough equipment to accommodate. The place is bigger than it looks from the outside. There is a pool and two racquetball courts as well as a movie room where you can do your cardio and they have fitness classes too.

This fitness center is great. It has its busy times, but generally its not overly crowded and theres full access to both the weights and machines. Speaking of which, there is a good balance between weights and machines, and they are set up in a logical pattern making it easy to focus on one muscle group or superset. The staff here is always friendly and the place is kept pretty clean considering. I have been going here for close to 5 years and have never had any major complaints.

I not sure how a gym or fitness place can take heavier dumbbells away when places like 24 Hr has those kind of weights. One of the reasons is that they don;t want bodybuilders or power lifters since they dont bring people. Not true since we do have the money and also bring people of all kinds. This also hurts the younger guys who lift heavier weights as well plus any staff members who use them as well. Not keeping the heavier weights will make people leave the gym to go somewhere else. I do like the place yet I would really like to see the heavier dumbbells get put back for good so that more people will come.

I absolutely love This gym. Not only convient travel wise... But Ive never had that open and confident feeling to hit the gym solo till I came here. Been going for a week now. The front desk crew welcomed me in as if i had been attending there for months. Multiple machines to choose from. Multiple free weights of all sizes. No one messes with you... Ive seen a wide range of people from elders.. To couples.. To Solo.. Everyone is in here getting it done. I love it.

Great club, but please open earlier. Even 330 am is better than 4am. There are people waiting to get in before 4. We joined because you were 24 hours, now we will wait to see how Desert Fitness will be across the street since they say they will be 24 hours.

I love it! They have a lot of great UP TO DATE equipment which is great for what Im trying to achieve. The classes are amazing, fun and energetic.My kids loved their swim lessons. They also love the kid zone daycare and activity center. They cant wait to go to the gym which in turn gets me ready to go too.I highly recommend this gym! Thank you for helping me achieve my goals.

I’ve been a member at this club for a while now. I actually left for about a year and a half, but ended coming back. Glad I did.It used to be Fitness Works and now is You Fit. The club itself is expansive. Lots of space. Great group exercise room, pool, racquet ball courts and a cool theater room. Locker room is large with showers and sauna.They also have a kids club.I also love the group trainers, they are awesome!!I’ll allow that they are in need of more help at the front desk, especially during this transition, but currently hiring as such.

I love working at Youfit and keeping the gym nice and clean for our members that workout there. I love the staff member, they are always nice including Eunice she is the best gym manager ever. I also love working out there.

Overall not a bad gym. Decided to end my membership because the group fitness classes havent changed in 6 years (gym was Fitness Works before You Fit and they never changed the schedule). I was hoping YouFit would have a new class schedule, but nope. Maybe in the future they will.

Youfit is a good health club. They have pretty much anything you want to work out. Classes, racquetball courts, machines, free weights and space for CrossFit and a pool. Imo the only drawback is that the chlorine in the pool often is pretty strong.

Back in June of this year paid three months for a personal trainer. I only sawhim twice. Each time there was an issue like oh I forgot we were scheduled for this time or I have something else lets reschedule then forgetting about it and rescheduling again. That coach was fired. I the had someone different and he did the lamest workout and then quit. I now have a different coach who I dont plan on seeing because Im done. Wost gym experience ever.

My review for Fitness Works is A+A+A+ Excellent I love all the different classes..I really love how clean the pool sparkles, I am trying out water aerobics at a lot of different places, I have to give it to Fitness Works which is by far the best.... love the upkeep on the pool.HEY you guys great job keep it up. I signed up for the free pass on a specific date and today they have called me 5 times to see if I used the pass for a date that has not even gotten here. I asked to be removed from Alejandras calling list since I finally had time at work to answer her 5th phone call of the day. She proceeded to just hang up on me. When calling back the number it goes to vm. Trying to find a contact for these people has proven difficult, the rep, Tyler at Recker and Brown says they do not have a call center and he doesn’t know who it is calling me and suggests I just block the number. What awful customer service.

The sound system in the classroom is and always has been terrible. You cant understand 95% of what the instructor says. The sound is so annoying that people leave the classes regularly. Frustrating because I joined for the classes which I like to go to almost every day.On a positive note, the gym is reasonably clean and the front staff is usually pretty nice. The cost is pretty cheap so its hard to complain too much.

This location is well kept, very clean. Has everything you need for a good workout.

Since my insurance covers my memberships, I cant comment on the enrollment issues mentioned elsewhere.I attend the Senior classes 3 to 5 times a week.I have tried classes at a couple of the other clubs, but this one is the best.Its the people make the difference.I look forward to the warm greeting at the front desk by the lovely Heidi Krauss.Heidi exuberance seems to be all too rare today.And then theres Corene Heaps, who teaches twice a week.Corene goes out of her way to greet all the new members to make them feel welcome.The class room has a raised stage and two video screens so you can actually see the instructors.I also like the fact that there are weight machines that are labeled steps 1-9 with easy to understand labels on each of them, for those that like to go it on their own.Ive tried other places, but I keep coming back home to this one.

The gym is always appears clean, the staff is super friendly. The staff at the front desk great you with a smile, and also acknowledge you when you leave. I love the classes & mostly come for them, however I do like to use the equipment from time to time. I have to give a shoutout to the instructors of the classes I take: Carolyn, Kristine, Aase, & Michelle. They do a great job with keeping the class engaged & making sure proper form & technique is being used. I never was one who liked the gym experience...I would rather workout at home. My experience at Youfit has changed my outlook, and now I find myself at the gym 4-5 times a week! Love it!! Yes, I would recommend this gym!

Gym looks great with all the recent renovations. Sales guys are very nice, and genuine... not pushy at all. You can tell they really care about you and your fitness goals. Overall a great gym

This place is joke. Their staff is incompetent to the fullest. I have been trying to cancel my gym membership with them for the past two months. Every time I call to cancel the manager just stepped out or is on a break. I personally sent an email to cancel my membership as well and still no luck. I noticed another charge today, I called and guess what? The manager is on break, and they are the only ones who have access in the system to cancel memberships. Do not waste your time with this place you will only receive the run around.

Offer lots with pool, racquetball courts, gym classes, cycling room, theatre room, lots of free weights and nautilus type machines. Many cardio machines. Just needs good interior paint job to brighten it up. Machines always available and quiet place to work out.

Clean, new and friendly employees. The gym is not very crowded so its nice. Plus the movie cardio room is a nice way to end a lifting session. Its makes 20 minutes of cardio fly by. Last week I watched pirates of the Caribbean, paul blart - mall cop and deepwater horizon! They have a free guest pass available too!

Decent gym and almost never crowded (except right after work or on Saturday late morning- when youd expect it to be busy). Staff are nice enough and dont hunt you down to push training on you. Not as nice as other clubs but at the price you dont mind it that much.

Great club for a great price. Long hours of operation too although later times on the weekends would fit me even better. More like a real gym too, not pretty but totally functional for those who know what a gym is for!

Miserable experience on Saturday. I have been a member for over 10 years. I was told to leave because my account was behind. No phone calls nothing. I had presented my credit card to them after a change was made to it by the bank. Had they have taken the information then, and correctly entered it into there computer. This incident would not have happened. I ask the receptionist to review my history and she was adamant that I was behind in payments. I had traveled over ten miles one way to the club to work out. I could have paid her after I returned to my home and called her with the necessary information that created the glitch. Instead she was rude and calloused only concerned about a payment. The errors were Fitness Works employees.I contacted Carolyn at this facility on advice of another facility with Fitness Works. She was on the same order Rude, Calloused, over bearing, inconsiderate, definitely not people friendly. I say good luck to the new owners of Fitness Works with management employees like this gem.

I love the Olympic sized pool for swimming laps. I love the cardio room where you can watch movies. They have fairly new equipment but no good place for stretching and other floor work.

Ive been in the fitness industry for over a decade and have directed several La fitness clubs and other gyms so I have a pretty solid idea of what a gym should be like.PROS: no wait timeThey DO have a few good trainers there like Whitney and Adam.CONS: crappy equipment- something was always downEverything seems Neglected- including the bathrooms. Think of when you drive by a place and half the sign doesnt light up or the paint and shutters of a house are in disrepair.HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT- LEO is a piece of work. Probably has to do with the high turn over. I contacted him with a concern and he wanted to go to blows. Has a horrible attitude AND a horrible body for somebody working in the fitness industry. All around fail.I had my membership here less than a month... I still have my first gym membership from a different gym from back when I was 14 hahaha Id rather do cross fit that go here. ;)

I have been a member since they first opened. The only problem I had was once my first personal trainer left, I was given two young, inexperienced trainers who could not help me work around my health problems. I spoke with one of the owners because I wanted to cancel my personal trainer membership, and he asked me if I would work with him for a while and see if I would be happy. I have been working with him for about four months now, and he also talks with my PT to be sure what we do will not cause further medical problems. I am so thankful to him for doing this for me. The staff is willing to work with you. I LOVE the water aerobics classes and the Body Flow classes. The instructors are so much fun and really good at what they do. The facility is very clean and when suggestions are made, if possilbe and reasonalbe, they follow through. The only way you know if you like something is to try it. We all have different opinions about things. I look forward to going everyday. I have met wonderful people there.

Was a good gym but they got rid of the heavy dumb bells and are talking about getting rid of more. Youfit is a causin gym to planet fitness. F planet fitness. This was the only good gym on this side of town to lift heavy and if they take that away more then they have then my reviews will get worse.

My personal experience has been solid. I have been a member since January and have not a single complaint. The facility is well maintained, equipment wait time is a minimum (if at all). I find the membership to be a reasonable price and the only thing I would contemplate changing if asked would be later weekend hours. However, this is not so much a concern as I know the gym, slows down considerably during said hours.I highly recommend a tour of the facility and I will venture to say that once you tour you WILL sign up. =)

This place will not be around much longer I suspect!Since I have joined 5 months ago, I have had non stop billing issues! My account was over drawn from them pulling out way too much money! Then I was hit with all kinds of fees it seemed like every other week!The staff do not greet you at all. I feel miserable every single time I come here. UGH!!I wish I wasnt lured in with the $9.95 a month price!!! I regret ever coming her to joined! Please learn from my mistake, and avoid this gym at all costs!!I promise you I will personally tell 35 people about my experience here!

Kind of wondering why I joined last week. I’ve told them from the beginning that I’ve only joined for the classes, racquetball, hot tub and pool and I was told to schedule my free assessment and to make sure I drink a lot of water and eat carbs before going. Apparently I gave all the wrong answers (same ones I’ve always given) cuz he spent 25 minutes trying to talk me into group training for $69/month and we didn’t even work out. Way to make me feel like I have no place there if I don’t lift weights and take advantage of personal trainers. Not sure this will last long, hopefully the classes are worth it.

This place is closed forever may 25th 2020-5 18 wheel trucks taking everything away!

Basic membership is fairly inexpensive and has a lot to offer. Extended membership is a bit pricey for the added benefits.

Its fun, the price is right! And you get your moneys worth, no contracts...great deal go down and check it out for yourself. Tell them I sent you! Exercise equipment, sauna, steamroom, pool, tanning room, what more can you ask for! :)

Demographic is mainly elderly, the equipment is sub par of LA fitness and more along the lines of planet fitness, it wasn’t my cup of tea. I’m going to EōS fitness now and they have much better equipment then You Fit. You fit does have a good trainer, his name is Cody and he does a great job.

Has a good range of cardio machines and weights.. cleanliness could be better in the bathrooms... but for what I pay, this gym appears very good return on investment ... has a movie theatre inside with cardio machines and I watch shows as I work out...Extend weekend workout hours until at least 9pm... closing at 7pm is too early and myself and friends find it really difficult to workout early on weekends

Cant wait to go ASU so I can finally go to a real gym, instead of this gym which is turning into Planet Fitness. This gym likes to take workout equipment away because its too dangerous. I suggest anywhere but here. I liked this gym a lot when it was Fitness Evolution, but after the turn over of management it just took a huge plummet. Its unfortunate, really.

Good place but they used to be a 24 hour gym then got new equipment and changed hours and recently i havent been to busy to make it so i woke up at 530 ready to hit the gym after 2 weeks off because i wirk crazy hours and what do you know changed the hours agian currently looking for another gym you fit less and less customer oriented ever few months

Was going to join for the pool but they are not ADA compliant and do not have a lift to access pool if you cant do stairs.Not certain why but its a bummer.. have to go to LA Fitness which I dont like. Maybe they will get one soon.

Great gym and great value. They even have a greeter, always nice to see John when I arrive.

Love inhaling chlorine during a heavy workout. Really burns the lungs. The pool needs some better ventilation and they will open the pool doors making it 10 times worse in the rest of the gym.

Nothing fancy but also not terrible. It had everything I needed to get a good lift in, until now. Ive been a member for over two years and this gym has changed ownership twice. When youfit took over, they decided to get rid of the heavy dumbbells. Who does that even benefit? Now im hearing they might get rid of more. Go somewhere else if you have the opportunity! The lack of customer service and large turnover makes this gym undesirable. Not one person that answers the phone there can help with anything. The gym itself is very large and has nice equipment. If you have billing issues good luck!!!!

These guys took my money. It is not $10/month, its more like 100/year + 40/random fees every 3 months + 12/month When I cancelled my membership because the people working there were complete jerks, they didnt cancel it. I still CONTINUE to get charged to this day and I have collections trying to get my money. I went so far as to cancel my card and Im in process of moving all money into a different account.NEVER AGAIN!!Go across the street to Fitness Works if you must go to this intersection.

I laugh at the people writing bad reviews for this gym because they pulled some dumbells. They currently have 5lbs-90lbs. Most of the people who go to gyms will never be able to go higher than that with a lift involving a dumbell. It may alienate some of the bigger dudes out there, but its a business model they chose to adapt. I havent been working out for 20 years so I cant lift a car like Im assuming the people writing the bad reviews can, but all they did was pull a few dumbells, thats it. And they didnt even get rid of them. They just arent on the floor. If you really want to use them, Im sure theyd let you pull them out. Dont let the negative reviews scare you away. Go check it out and see for yourself. Its only $10 a month. This gym has way more than any other $10 a month gym Ive ever seen.

Youfit purchased an older fitness works club which makes this club unique because it has a lot of amenities that the other Youfits do not have. For example: Pool, Jacuzzi, dry sauna, racquetball courts, etc.

There are several stationary bikes that I am comfortable using but I have to go earlier now that the winter visitors have started swarming back..

Not sure where the comments are coming from in regards to a small gym or little equipment but this is the best gym for the money in this area.In one and a half years I have only had an issue with billing once and they fixed it immediately. Its also not rocket science here people, if you want a company to stop charging your account then DUH get a new debit card with a new number and / or a new account. Not that difficult!As for LA Fitness and other gyms, sorry but Fitness Evolution has great equipment, a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and unlimited tanning all included for 21.99 a month.I once went to check out other places to compare, no pool, no sauna, no Jacuzzi... no deal here

Cost to end membership. They could never get their equipment working. I would not recommend them to anyone. Find a place that has customer service.

This club has gone way downhill since it changed to youfit. One of the employees told me that they are trying to keep out bigger guys who lift heavy and carry around big water jugs. Not only this but when they changed to youfit they added another account under my name and were double charging me for a while.

Lots of room and options for you to customize your work out. Indoor pool is real nice.

I was extremely disappointed with fitness works today. My wife and I have been members for quite some time and both of us have been able to bring a guest from time to time to try out the gym. Today when I brought a friend for the first time to see the gym, they would not let him in without paying a $15 daily fee. Well, neither of us brought any money with us and so we could not pay and they would not make any exceptions to let him come in. We drove down expecting to work out and drove away upset. I think it is bad company policy to make customers angry and even worse to make potential customers think your facility is a joke. I think what should have happened is the employee should have explained the policy, which by her own words, they just recently decided to strictly enforce, and then make a one time exception. Not a good way to treat your customers. I am in the process of looking for a new gym that is more friendly and shows they actually care about their members.
