The owner of this shop gave me the two worst haircuts of my life after being a regular over a year. I thought he just had a bad day once, so I corrected him in plain and polite English, to no avail. Im convinced that its personal, but I dont know why. Im not demanding, I dont talk politics, religion, or anything personal, and I tip well. I dont know his problem, but he certainly has one. Perhaps hes too emotionally immature to have his own shop. I can recommend him if you dont get on his bad side and you dont interrupt his lunch-- I saw the look on his face and thought hed throw a tantrum.

I brought my mother, who is blind with a seeing eye dog, here for a haircut without an appointment and Daniel, who, is the shop owner, did a great job at making her feel comfortable as well as giving her a great cut. Had I not recently had a haircut myself, I would have allowed him to cut my hair as well.

What a nice surprise! On occasion I treat myself to a professional shave. I did not have a go-to spot for a shave in the past. Was pretty spontaneous about getting one depending on where I was in the city at the time. That changed today. I now have go-to barber. Going forward I will go see Kristin at Fritzs. Absolutely love going here to get my hair cut. Its a chill vibe, always great conversation and Kirstin always cuts my hair exactly how I want it. Had an appointment early morning at 8am. The haircut, beard trim, and shampoo finish was handled exceptionally well and very relaxing by Daniel. Love the ambiance of this barbershop, timely and welcoming. Not one to usually converse while getting my cuts, but Daniel and Kirsten(sp?) got me yapping along with another client getting a cut and a guy waiting; that’s pretty cool. This shop is a gem and will be coming back.

This is the best barbershop ever! For years I always dreaded getting my haircut and I would usually resort to Great Clips or the salon my gf goes to. I gave Fritz a try and... wow! I got the best haircut I’ve ever had from this place! I feel like a new man! It’s a small business with character and they are all professional and true craftsmen! I highly recommend!

(Writing this from my wifes computer). I live in Flagstaff. Fritzs is now where I get my haircut! I happened into Fritzs on a Weds morning, after getting a fantastic coffee, next door, at Organic Bean Cafe. I wasnt expecting to get a cut... I popped in and was pleasantly surprised. First off, the surrounding location alone is very awesome and inviting. Fritzs itself is an old-school style barber shop with small, main street charm, yet youthful energy and friendly vibe. Daniel, the new owner and guy who cut my hair, was great to talk to and nailed my haircut just the way I like it (and asked for). Ive been to many different barbers, on the search for the right one. Glad I found it in Fritzs! Great prices and no wait (at that time of day). Strongly recommend.

Just had my third cut at Fritzs Barbershop and its been a great experience each time. Ive been to several barbershops in the valley and have felt at some like my being there for a cut is almost like an annoyance to the people working there and/or they are too busy for me. At Fritzs Ive felt very welcome each time and cared for. It has a family feel. And Im a practical thinker so to me even more important than how they make me feel is the cost and cut. I think they are very reasonably priced for the value they provide and Ive been very happy with each cut. Highly recommend this place.

Adam gave me a great cut and beard trim, and the prices are fair. These are local guys helping to be a part of the local business scene in downtown Mesa while offering a good product at a fair price. Glad I stopped in!

Daniel took the time to ensure everything was truly perfect, and spent time educating me about what he was doing to accommodate my specific hair type, and how I could maintain things at home. When I moved here I was looking for a new barber, Im very particular on how I want my hair done. I found this place close to my house, so I gave them a call and Daniel picked up the phone, he was extremely friendly and let me know the hours for Saturday which ended up working with my availability. When I went in I was greeted by Daniel who remembered our conversation. He was very professional and very proficient at cutting hair I have now gone to him every other Saturday and will continue doing so while I live in Arizona. If you are looking for a great haircut with reasonable prices this is the place to go to.
