A/C went out and they took it in the next day (dealer was scheduling out to the next week). Speedy diagnostic, also with some other service recommendations which made sense. Their price were great, lower than dealer service prices. Dealer wanted $150 for A/C diagnostic, and these guys did it for $30... Repair was well done, thorough, and quick. Great service, excellent communication throughout, knowledgeable and friendly. What a great service experience, which is rare these days.

Excellent customer service. I had a battery that was leaking and didnt know. Dustin pointed it out to me. I had just bought that battery in January from my dealership. Took car to dealership and my battery was replaced. I had told Dustin that I was going on a trip and didnt want any problems. Thanks for letting me know about the battery.

Had my air conditioning inspected since it wasnt blowing very cold as it should. They tested the car quickly, called me with the test results and their suggested plan to fix including the full price w/ tax, and after my approval proceeded to perform the repair. Performed an evacuation and recharge of the refrigerant and now the AC works great! Got the whole job done in about 3 hours from drop off to pick up. Documentation provided on pick up was thorough, and included my initial explanation of the problem in good detail. Would recommend this shop for this type of service, and would recommend this shop in general. Have been here before and have had a pleasant experience each time.

** SEE MY UPDATE BELOW **I used their online scheduling tool on their website and scheduled an oil change for a specific time. When I arrived, I was told they had just given my time slot to someone that had just walked in off the street. Nothing to help me except an invitation to wait 2 hours.Thanks, but no thanks. Very unprofessional approach.** UPDATE **After posting my review above, I received a call from their East Valley manager, and he explained how their scheduling system was new and was not foolproof. I was impressed by their quick response. I updated my number of stars to a four, and perhaps after I gain more experience with them, I will update even higher. I dropped the truck off the night before and picked it up the next day with a new AC compressor. Matt was very honest and didnt try to sell me more parts that didnt need to be replaced. When it was all said and done, the total bill was about 600 dollars than the previous shop I walked away from the day before because their prices were too high. Highly recommend! A/C works perfectly!

My check engine light came on after my car was experiencing some power loss. Being new in the area, I didnt know where to take my car to have it looked at. After doing a Google search, I found Greulichs Automotive nearby in my neighborhood so I took it in. They checked out my car and told me exactly what the issue was and gave me their best estimate to have the problem fixed. As I didnt have much time left until I had to get ready for work, they had my car fixed pretty quickly and its been running well since. Their repair work also included a 2 year/24k mile guarantee which is a great thing to have. Ill certainly return to Greulichs next time my car has any problems, or to simply do an oil change.

These guys were amazing today! Morgan helped me through a huge bind when my cars alternator took a dump on me and they found that I desperately needed an oil change as well. The guys at the front were friendly. I only got a conventional oil change but I wanted a Saturday appointment and booked it the day before and was able to get in. The service took an hour and 50 minutes. I’ll be giving them another try the next time I need to get my car serviced.

Towed in twice because my car wasnt starting, and was convinced it was the starter. They say they checked twice, then upon a second opinion elsewhere turns out it was the starter. I had called in the other day, needing some insight on what was going on with my car. I spoke to Aaron who had advised I come in and said they could take a look at it, free of charge. They were very professional and didnt take long to figure out what the problem was. Although I ended up going elsewhere for my car to be serviced, these gentlemen were very friendly and helpful!

I have been going to Gruelich for two decades. They are great with older cars, very knowledgeable.

This place is great, called to ask a question was told to pass by so they can take a look at the problem same day. Was explained what the problem was, very straightforward was supposed to get fixed in a few days due to having to wait for part and they were actually able to get the part sooner and my car was fixed the very next day! Great service, would come again if needed.

AARON was great, called in with a emergency situation and they were able to get my truck in immediately. Got me back on the road in no time with no hassle and very fair pricing. The coffee was good too.

I use a Greulichs in Scottdale for my oil changes cause theyre reasonably priced and doing it myself would actually cost more. So when my alternator died, I thought the one by my house would be reasonably priced to replace it. I knew it was my alternator because 1) my battery was replaced less than a month before. 2) my battery would die every time I turned my car off. After parking in their lot, it was so dead, my power locks wouldnt unlock when I turned the car off. 3) I took it to OReilly who diagnosed it for FREE and confirmed my alternator was dead.Im capable of replacing an alternator, but I didnt have the time because I had to get to work because I cant do my job from home. So, based on reviews, I thought they would be reasonable. Wrong.They charged $40 to diagnose that the alternator was dead because apparently OReillys FREE diagnosis cant be trusted. They charged roughly $90 more for the alternator (that likely wasnt a Nissan alternator, which was the most expensive alternator I could find, and was likely the lowest priced alternator available) than if I went to the dealership for parts, where I would have gotten $75 for my core.... so $165 less after returning the core.I didnt know cost before I picked my car up because I had them call my husband since I couldnt answer my phone at work and assumed they told him how much. Turns out they didnt tell him, they only told him it was in fact my alternator and that my new battery would need to be replaced. So I called and they made it sound like it wasnt optional, that my battery wouldnt hold a charge and needed to be replaced.... they hadnt even tried to charge it yet (I declined their battery and said I would just get it covered under the battery warrantee for free and for them to just recharge it. To this day, my battery was never replaced and has been working fine 3 months later.)The only thing I wont complain about is the cost of labor. Because I know how much has to be removed in order to get to my alternator and I expected them to not be under $100 an hour. And the fact that my car was back up and running in the same day. So kudos on that one.Would i pick Greulichs again? Not for anything other than an oil change cause thats the only thing they do at a reasonable price. Dont expect them to get you better prices on parts like in other reviews unless you ask them to apparently. I just assumed they did that because theyre honest mechanics. I guess you know what happens when you assume things.....You get ripped off by Greulichs.

I have a long move coming up and was provided a pretty lengthy list of repairs the car needed and a second list of the need to fix items that should be taken care of before a long distance drive. The big fixes were done within a day, and my car drives and runs better than it has in a long time. No pressure to fix the items on the first list, or of any kind from anyone there. I appreciate that they listened to what I needed and weeded out the fixes that werent major and could wait.

Brought my car in for repair because engine light was on and it was puttering when starting! Aaron, the manager was at desk and took care of us, had it fixed the same day! I cannot say enough about the professionalism and amazing customer service I received from the shop Manager Aaron at the location on 2930 S. Alma school in Mesa Arizona. My car broke down a couple miles from my work and I had to have it towed and I had used the shop once before to have some work done and they did a good job and I felt like they were honest and didn’t try to take a vantage of me being a woman and not knowing much about cars.I showed up a few minutes after they opened at 7:30 in the morning in the pouring down rain from an Uber ride. I did not have an appointment and Aaron greeted me offered me a hot cup of coffee and asked how he could help. I explained my situation and he said that they would run some diagnostics and get back to me and let me know what seemed to be the problem. I thought for sure I would be without my care for several days.Aaron assured me, that he and his Team could get my car up and running before the close of business that day.I was going to leave it there and I was trying to catch a ride to work from Uber and Aaron offered me a ride to work saving me a lot of time and money. He was so courteous and friendly it made my entire day. So many people are under so much stress these days due to Covid and the holidays and everything, It was so refreshing to be greeted with a smile and to be taken care of right away.Aaron’s kindness was amazing it’s been a rough year for me my fiancé passed away in February of cancer and then Covid hit and I just started a new job and have been under a lot of stress. He made feel at ease and like I was in good hands. He kept his word about keeping me informed about what the issues were. I brought my 2003 F150 in to be serviced before a long trip to Utah to tow my bfs truck back. They did a full workup, fixed the things that I needed, and gave me a rundown of the things that needed fixing but could wait. I got a huge list of things fixed in the SAME DAY (I hadnt properly serviced it beyond oil changes in 7 years) and the truck drove like a whole new vehicle. I made it through mountains and back over 1,000 miles in 2.5 days towing the other vehicle on a trailer with absolutely no problems. Their service was phenomenal and I am so grateful that my truck (now at 200,000 miles!) is running better than ever. Thank you so so much!

Great experience. Missed my appointment, but they still tried to fit me in. Oil change was quick. Waiting room was clean. Love that I can book my appointment online. Not the cheapest place Ive been to, but Ill pay a little extra to make sure the oil change is done right.

Went in for oil change. They checked fluids and DIDNT REPLACE THE BRAKE FLUID lid. Now i need to flush my brakes (not trusting them) and buy a new brake fluid lid.I should have learned last time, but i had the oil and filter and they are across the street. next time i will just drive a bit further.Big time rip off.

They also done a free maintenance check with the oil check. Amazing place.

I was suprised how fast they diagnosed and fixed a water pump and thermostat for my work truck. Got it fixed same day no issues and they didnt rip me off like the dealership i used to use did/does. I would definitely recommend this shop. They also have financing available which was very useful this close to Christmas for me and my family.

Over all it was a nice experience. Car seems to be running good. Employee was nice, seemed knowledgeable and professional. I wasnt given bill until after paid but I also didnt ask for it first. I do notice on bill that a diagnostic charge was applied and I was told that wouldnt be Chari it you found and repaired issue which you did. It also appears your labor rates are over $150/ hour. You only had my car for four hours ($607/4 ).

A want to give a great big thank you to Gruelichs but more specifically to Morgan and Zane! I came in an hour before closing to have some brake and accelerator pedal pads put on. While it seems like a fairly simple job, tying to get the material of the pads to conform took a little longer than it looks! But Zane stuck with it until it was complete! Morgan made sure I was taken care of! While it may not seem like such a big deal to most, the reason it is for me is because I have a disability! A mobility disability and having non-slip pads for when I drive makes me feel all the more confident and thankful that I am able to still drive and Morgan and Zane help to facilitate my ongoing progress!!! Thanks guys for all you do!

Due to this happening, my confidence in this company has been restored and I feel it’s only fair to report that by updating this review. This is a company run with integrity and you can feel confident having them work on your vehicles, knowing they stand behind their work.Very professional, Morgan was efficient and communicated clearly about my vehicle and the recommended services. They were not pushy and were transparent. I just purchased a used car and I needed to do a full inspection. After providing the assessment to me I agreed to do an oil flush and change. That only took an hour even though they were very busy. Pricing was very fair. Overall 10/10 would recommend this business to my family and friends and I will be returning for future maintenance needs. Thank you to all the guys at Greulich!!!Unfortunately, months after leaving this amazing review I feel I must leave an updated review which accurately reflects the service I received. The $50 inspection completed by this shop is either negligent at best or incompetent at worst. I specifically brought to their attention when I walked through the door that I was experiencing very concerning vibrations throughout my car and that was my primary reason for requesting an inspection. Their diagnosis was the bushings of the lower control arms were broken. They did not find anything wrong with my motor mounts. I even returned to the shop after having both lower control arms replaced as the vibrations had continued and asked them to look at it again. This time they told me the motor mounts were loose. I ended up having to spend $150 for an inspection this time from a reputable dealership and the motor mounts were correctly diagnosed as being broken and the repairs ended up costing me $800. I was willing to overlook this, I’m a forgiving person and believe in 2nd chances. I decided to have them do an $80 alignment as that’s recommended after having the control arms replaced. Afterwards, I noticed that my steering/alignment felt different. At this point I took the car to the dealership and again had to spend $180 for an inspection as I could no longer trust the work being done by Greulichs. I was told by the dealership whomever had completed my alignment had failed to properly tighten down the tie rod bolts afterwards and that I would need to have another alignment done. At this point if Greulichs would like to make this right I believe a full refund of the “services” I paid for is fair. If not I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

I brought my car in for an immediate diagnosis and fix without a Saturday appointment. Problem is fixed and now I am able to drive back to Prescott Sunas planned.

I booked an appointment for the following day and they were ready. I needed an oil change. My quote price was honored with no surprises. Nice clean shop and professional mechanics. Ill go back for maintenance and other issues that may arise.

I walked in off the street with a vibrating TOYOTA RAV4, when I would break. Morgan, at the front desk, was awesome. Got me right in. It ended up needing new rotors. They replaced my rotors, changed the oil, and replaced my back wiper. I’ll be honest, I know nothing about fair prices, but I love their customer service and ability to make my ride safe to drive. I’ll definitely be back.

Had them change my oil and they came back with 3000+ dollars worth of fixing. When I brought in the car I said to not worrying about checking anything, knowing it needed work done (Ive got personal mechanics to do the big fixes) and they still went over 7+ pages of different pricing on what to fix, including replacing the brakes which I just replaced less than a month ago. I told them I was a college student and wasnt interested in anything but just my oil changed and they kept going over the necessities of getting it fixed that day.... very pushy. I also had a guy tell me that axels for the suspension would cost 1500 dollars.. i looked up the price for the part online and it came out to 300 dollars TOTAL for brand new part...

Honest an fast service. Some of the quickest turn around times ive ever had at an autoshop. I come here now for any an everything. Aaron will tell you straight and take care of your vehicle for sure.

My windshield wiper transmission linkage was broken. Ford no longer made the part. I picked up an after market part and brought it in, hoping it fit. The guys had to do some custom fitting work, but ultimately got it to fit and work perfectly. Exceeded my expectations. Will for sure bring my old Ford truck in again. Great fast expeditionary service

They did a great job fixing another mechanics mistake and reasonable price.

Stopped in because I had two codes pop up that indicated a vacuum leak. I had tried for weeks to find the leak on my own but got frustrated and stopped in because my father speaks well of their service. These guys found and fixed the vacuum leaks (had three of em) and it didn’t didn’t cost an arm an leg. The exceptional customer service came when I got a call from them asking if they could keep the truck for a couple hours more Because their QA/QC procedure led them to find an additional issue that they wanted to fix before returning the vehicle. That type of attention to detail is rare today. This shop is exceptional.

When he was able to get my air conditioning system working again when it was 116 degrees outside that pushed their service over the top!
