The office staff is AMAZING! I want to give a special thank you to Rio! The hygienist was professional, conversational, and helpful when discussing all of my options. Further, the dentist and his assistant Rio were so helpful, kind, and caring. They were able to answer any questions I had and accommodated my all needs. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and helpful! I would highly recommend going to them!!!

I have been going to the Merritt Island, FL Aspen Dental location for years. Everything has been pretty great. I have always been satisfied with my maintenance/cleanings and any dental work done. Kara, in the Administration Department, is absolutely wonderful. She gives the most superb customer service, extremely knowledgeable in her work, and is a breath of fresh air with a smile always on her face. It’s great to see someone that truly loves their job.

I commend Dr. Marius. He handled a tough extraction with speed and professionalism. Holly was thoughtful and kind; making sure I was comfortable.

Everyone is vert friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great first visit. Rio, Dr Marius, and Cara were awesome!

I really enjoyed my visit, I had not been to the dentist in many years. Didnt know what to expect but their staff was friendly and the visit was affordable too (No Insurance). Cant wait for my next cleaning!

Worst dentist I have ever been to. I tried to call them for over 2 months. I left messages and no one ever called me back. I had to call the corporate office. They finally called me the next day. Then when I asked to have my tooth put in the lady on the phone said no it had not been long enough even though the dentist had promised me to put it in because we were moving over seas. She refused to let me talk to a dentist or make an appointment. Then when I told her my bite guard was not made correctly she said it would be a fee. When I asked her to talk to the office manager she said she was the office manager and would not make an appointment for me and said goodby love. Do not go to this Aspen Dental now they are basically holding my tooth hostage.

I was new to the area and after leaving my familiar dentist with myself and my children, gave them a try. I specifically asked them to look into my benefits and advise what was covered on our insurance plans. They advised that everything would be covered. Later, I receive a bill that totaled more than what it would have cost without insurance at my previous dentist. The reason for this was non-covered benefits within 3 years. Which could have been known BEFORE the service was performed if they had looked. Happy to pay the bill. That was not the problem. The staff was non-sympathetic, offered no discounts, and advised me that they never looked into what was covered or not, to begin with. I was told that this was cheap compared to what prices were offered in the area. I was appalled! They IMMEDIATELY put this on my credit report. I WILL NEVER use them again, nor their chain. I found a nice local dentist whom does research for benefits, is honest, willing to work with the remaining total, and has personable staff. 0 stars!!!! This is my first online complaint.

Saw Dr. Marius today and he was so kind, worked with me when I had to get a tooth pulled. The rest of the office in the front are awesome and the lady who did my xray was very sweet!!

Nothing but a scam. If you guys want to be billed for stuff you didnt have done then by all means come here. But if you want to go somewhere they actually know what they are doing then i suggest you go somewhere else

Christina is maybe one of the best humans I have ever met! I have never been a fan of the dentist in fact terrified is a good word, in the middle of being terrified she made me feel comfortable and helped me calm down. Not many people show kindness in a busy world anymore but she did!!!I will say if you have to go to the dentist this is the one to visit!!!!!

Made an appointment and they put it in the schedule as a different date. Rescheduled, went in on the day of the new appointment and I wasnt in their schedule for an appointment. I showed them the email confirmation that i had the appointment. Was able to be seen anyways because it was slow.Ended up finding another dentist that would do the same work cheaper.

So like the last reviewer I also had an issue with billing the work I had completed should have totaled about 140 in copays (give or take that is just what I remember the lady saying) but I got sent an invoice for over $1000 and an additional bill for a little over 100 bucks. I was shocked. They must have billed me for work they did not complete. After they told me the quote for the rest of my dental work (my lower wisdom teeth) I went elsewhere and still got cheaper service. I would like to see a detailed invoice for what they are billing me for. As I feel they have billed me for stuff I did not have done with them and that I did not agree to. Also without any calls or heads up as I was trying to find out why they were sending me a thousand dollar bill plus additional bills my credit score went down 82 points! I was so surprised and disappointed in aspen dental. No one has been able to send me a detailed invoice of the services provided along with costs and copays and I feel that there has to be some fraud being committed here. Also customer service skills are terrible and they rush you off the phone each chance they have. I don’t recommend coming here as they will bill you for things they did not do. Also they tried to tell me they billed a different insurance company that I have never even heard of. Something is seriously wrong with this situation. And I look forward hearing to hearing from someone maybe from corporate or something

Everyone I met was knowledgeable and friendly. This was a first visit for me as we just moved here. We are going to make this our family dentist.

The staff up front were so very nice, kind and professional. But the Dr. Dublin and Cathy went above and beyond the call of duty to make me comfortable, made sure I was in no pain for the procedure. I really cant say enough. Hes an excellent dentist, even used sutures after the extraction which has already allowed for my socket to not be open to bacteria. O could just go on and on.

Considering I went to Aspen Dental for an emergency tooth extraction, things couldnt have come out better! Dr. Ruben and his assistant Mike made the operation as quick and as painless as possible. Thanks again to all the staff at the Merritt Island office!

I just moved to the area and need it some work done, (1) first issues they never pick up the phone or call back when you leave a message. (2) They told me the work was around $2,000 and my out of pocket was over $1,000, I asked how long for the work to be done and I was told 3 week and that I need it to pay the balance the last day, I told them not a problem with that, the issues was they picked the most expensive work without giving me the options they had 3 different prices, they should allow the patient to make the decision not them. (3) I told them I will call Friday and give you a third they said ok, I called (Friday) at least 20 times starting early in the morning to make the first payment they never pick the phone, then, I call Monday morning an it took at least 7 calls before they answer, I told the lady I been calling since Friday to make the 1st payment and she told me that that is not the case that I should have call Friday and make the 1st payment I told her if you pick the phone when I called so many times on Friday I wouldve, now she is asking for 60% even is going to take 3 more visits before my stuff is done. But the first day was so different, I told her I was canceling and will not go back. Please make sure you know your options and get it in writing. Will never go back there.

I received very good dental treatment at Aspen. The dentists and dental technicians were great. I spent over $2,000. I loved everything about my dental experience, except for their hygienist department. They stick you in a shabby, disorganized corner of their office for cleanings. The cleaning couldnt have been more than 10 minutes. The hygienist confirmed this was the standard. Previous cleanings at other dentists have been at the least 25 - 30 minutes. When you leave after a cleaning your teeth should feel clean, they felt the same as when I arrived. I shared my disappointment at the main desk on my way out. It didnt matter. Its funny theyll get you to spend a couple thousand dollars and then theyre not even interested in your care. Its kind of ironic because I plan to spend a couple more thousand on my teeth, but I wont be spending it here.

I was most grateful that my first visit as a new patient was free; I’m currently uninsured so this is why I chose to use Aspen. The X-rays and dental exam were done very quickly and all of the staff I encountered were super friendly. I took off one star because the dental chair I was seated in was not located in an actual “exam room” it was setup in an open area with a divider.

All of the staff were amazing. I would rather be in a knife fight than go to the dentist so I havent been in more years than what I would like to admit. The fix to my problem was a periodontal procedure. My hygienist, Kriss, not only made me feel comfortable, but she thoroughly educated me on the procedure and aftercare. She also stayed late to make sure nothing was missed and that all of my questions were answered. Thank you! I am a captain, and with a crew like them, I would fear no seas.

I’ve lived in Cocoa Florida for three years unable to find a dentist I felt comfortable with. Aspen Dental is wonderful they made me feel welcome and that they will help me with any dental problems that I had. Very happy with them and have made a plan to visit there office as required

They got me in quick when I had a dental emergency and made sure I was comfortable. They never made me feel like I was an inconvenience. *UPDATEI’m leaving one star because I can’t post anything lower. It’s been a few years since I posted this. Recently I went in to another dentist and had them look at the cAp Aspen had put on. When Aspen did the root canal they did not properly seal the tooth, nor did they put the cap on correctly. This caused the tooth to rot for the next five years without any indication that it was doing so because I had no root. I just had to have $12,000 worth of dental work to replace the root canal I had to open up a credit card to get. I am so sad that this place turned out to be a joke. I loved the staff, but the work is bad and if you can go somewhere else I highly suggest it.

I had my first appointment here where I wanted to get a cleaning. I found out when my visit was over that this was just pictures and a chat - no cleaning. I was upset that this wasn’t communicated to me (I would have preferred to have a longer appointment where this would all get done). My online appointment tool only had a choice of “check u”. I was also frustrated that I couldn’t call the office and a human Woolf as we the phone.Also, be prepared to pay a few hundred dollars for a teeth cleaning ( always was $50 at my old dentist with this insurance). If money is no object then this is the place for you. On a positive note I did like that they developed a 3 d video game image of my teeth

On my visit to Aspen Dental it is a comforting wonderful experience Doctor Mike and Miss Holly are fantastic they look at the problem explain the issues and does a fantastic job. Arriving for my scheduled appointment I was informed that the hygenist was running one hour behind. I could reschedule or wait. I decided to run some errands and return an hour later. Upon arriving back I waited another 45 minutes before finally being seen. Since they close at 5pm and the time I got back there it was 4:45. I was hurridly rushed through my Xrays and the Doctors exam (then he left for the day) and my cleaning. I feel they should have called me to let me know before I arrived, not wait till I walked in the door. Not very good service at all.

I felt very good about my experience at Aspen Dental; I was rather anxious about it due to the pandemic, but right from the start while getting my x-rays done the Tech was cleaning everything off right behind me! I felt with their precautions I was in good hands; Id been before for an implant and everyone is extremely informative and there if you have questions, you dont feel rushed, theyve always let me know when they suggest and take my options into account. I would definitely recommend Aspen to a friend or family!

I have been receiving ongoing follow up care for new dentures which require many adjustments and Holly has been so very caring, competent and willing to take whatever time it is to make my fittings not only satisfactory but as comfortable as possible. This was my first experience with Aspen Dental. They are located conveniently next to Space area bus transit, as well as ample parking and handicap accessible. The entire office was meticulously clean and quite cozy. The dental staff was amazing, they all had a wonderful bedside manner. They really listened to my concerns and respected my emotional demise. BRITTNEY was the xray tech that just went above and beyond and with charm. DR. Burnes was epic!! He turned my confidence around into a whole new level of positive reinforcement with a smile! Super clean and sterile workplace. All the technology is new and updated. They even have a TV for your entertainment in the dentist chair. Paid $240 for 3 filling, a cleaning, an x-ray and an exam! Everyone was very nice. Cleanings are to expensive. Ive been a dental assistant for 20 years and get cleanings ever 6 months. Yes I have gone a little over a year since my last cleaning, never been told I have periodontitis. Now my cleaning is going to be $1,700.

I’ve been going to this office for about 3 years. They’re absolutely fantastic. I’ve never had any issues with them. I stopped going for about a year, but just went back yesterday. I had to get a filling, they for me back in less than 24 hours to get it done, as well as getting my teeth cleaned. The filling was so quick. Usually I have a lot of pain with the injection to numb the area, but Dr. Kelly did it so quickly and experienced that it didn’t hurt once so ever. She’s absolutely amazing!

I was quoted what I believed to be an above average price for an upper denture but was convinced I would be getting a higher than normal quality item. I took their printed estimate home to mull over it and finally decided to go with them but not their financing plan. I called the office to schedule an appointment and was told I would have to pre-pay by phone before scheduling. Then the price was suddenly $100 more than my printed quote. I tried to argue but to no avail. I went ahead and paid in full by phone and was given an appointment 4 weeks away. The first appointment was to make impressions. A week later to check the impression mold, A week later another impression. Two months after I pain and no denture. Net appointment 2 weeks later there was a denture to test fit and another appointment over a week later. The day finally arrived and it wasnt made correctly. It went back to the lab and I went back home. Next appointment it was fit to my gums - but not very well. Next appointment it was fit more by grinding away material. It fir better but rocked and gave me blisters. Back again it fit better but after a few weeks would not stay in on its own so I had to use adhesive. Jump ahead 6 months and while eating one of the teeth came out. I called for an appointment and was told it would be 6 weeks unless I wanted to walk in at 7:30 am and wait for an opening. Angered by their lack of concern I cleaned it with alcohol and glued it in with Super glue. A month later a different tooth came out and I did the same thing. 2 weeks later a tooth came out and I again repeated my repair. Four teeth came out on their own. Now another 8 months has gone by and there is a crack in the palate area and they can not be reached by phone. I bought the better quality denture, not the cheapest. This shouldnt happen good or cheap. They gave me a 7 year warranty but it is only good at the one office since each is independent of the others. I might also add that I have seen the dentist exactly once on my first visit. He was not personally involved with my denture creation or fit.I would recommend everyone avoid this branch of Aspen dental.

I went to Aspen dental to have a tooth extracted,Dr.Ruben was the dentist that I saw.Dr Ruben was very thorough and explained all aspects of the procedure to me.During the exam he told me that 2 teeth would need to be removed.I was apprehensive about the pain of 2 extractions in the same day Dr.Ruben assured me that there would be minimal pain.He was exactly right 2 teeth removed and the whole procedure was painless.thank you Dr Ruben for a pain free experience, you and the entire staff are friendly and professional.

They cancelled my appointment for no reason and never told me. Im not sure how this happened after I spoke to one of the receptionists a week prior over the phone to confirm.

The people were very nice, but I spent an extraordinary amount of time simply waiting. My appointment was for 1 PM and I had to wait for 30 minutes to be seen. That was humiliating because I am handicapped.The waiting continued throughout the afternoon visit.

The worst dentists and front office people! Very rude and condescending. They will go on lunch breaks and leave patients sitting in the dentist chair in the middle of their appointments. Once they have your money, good luck! DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE IN MERRITT ISLAND FLORIDA! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

People were great, but once they get you in there the cost is CRAZY. I paid with cash and the work I got done was what I was quoted. But what they want me to go back for WOW! 1 tooth 5k. Its like Im getting a diamond put in my mouth.

Wifes appt. Was 7am. She was first one in then 6 others came in lil bit later. 730 still sitting and everyone that came in after are all in back or have been seen.

New patients come on in existing patients you may aswell go somewhere else

I went in as a walk-in with having lost a filling. I was greeted by the clerk and asked to sign in and then have a seat. She finished working with another client, then proceeded to visit with other office staff, occasionally going back to her computer for a brief time. I was finally called up and given my paperwork to fill out. The rest of the time went slowly, but I knew that I could expect that being a walk-in. When I finally saw the dentist, she looked at it and immediately said I was going to need a crown. They were able to set up an appointment for the next day to begin the process and another appointment for the final crown fitting. Since we are traveling and we’re only going to be in the area for another 2 and a half weeks, it was good to have the ability to get everything completed in that time frame.

Doctors were really nice😊😊😊, but everything is about money!! 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I had a very bad experience with another dentist a couple months ago and I thought my mouth was going to be forever messed up, then I met Dr Burnes who right away gave me hope. He listened to all of my worries and concerns and reassured me that he could help me and get me the smile that I was looking for. In just one visit he was able to restore my faith in a dentist. I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist, I now actually look forward to going to the dentist because I know as a patient that I am in the best hands that there is and I cant wait to see what my smile will look like when my treatment plan is completed!!!I highly recommend Dr Burnes and the entire staff (esp Holly and Allie) at the Merritt Island, FL Aspen location for any of your dental needs!!!

Appointment was for 9:30 didnt get in until 10:15No one ever let us know they were running behind.They were also going to give my 70yr old husbanda $50.00 fluoride treatment that the insurance doesntcover without even asking if he wanted it, Seriously!!!We have better needs to spend our money on.

I had a wonderful experience at Aspen Dental on Merritt Island. I spent my career working in the medical industry, both Military and civilian, and appreciate providers who are concerned about patient care and service.Everyone from the receptionist to the assistants and hygienist were friendly, attentive, and very professional. My dentist is Dr. Thomas who was fantastic and very knowledgeable. When I explained my dental history to her she was focused on understanding my issues and developing a treatment plan.I left the office with a huge smile on my face--partly due to the wonderful cleaning :-)

I will never go back. Even with an appointment, I had to wait over an hour to be seen. They also did not provide me with the cleaning I had made my appointment for, only the new patient x-rays and overview. The tech who was examining me was talking to another employee loudly across the room the entire time which was incredibly rude and annoying. After my experience, I scheduled a cleaning elsewhere. When my new dental office called Aspen for my records they were told them they had no record of me being a patient so I could not get my x-rays sent over. It felt like the conveyor belt of dental offices. Do yourself a favor a go somewhere else.

My appointment time was recognized as a good thing. Staff were courteous and helpful, as was the doctor. I did however think that it would have been more time efficient if the results from the insurance company could have been electronicly delivered. An individuals time should be honored as well as the care they are trying to receive. Having an administrative back ground, I can appreciate how much work is involved with putting all the pieces together.

This place doesnt care about their customers one bit. They will try to squeeze you for as much money as they can while ignoring your actual complaints.They did a filling for me on the WRONG TOOTH! When I realized this and told them, their response was:Well you signed the paperwork.At least you guys are open about the fact youre a bunch of used car salesman pretending to be dentists.Patient care doesnt exist at Aspen Dental. Period.Stay far, far away.

Was great to be seen. Paid for my treatment. Dr. was not comfortable with my blood pressure to do surgery. But once I took care of it I could not get back in. Every Aspen dental in a 100 miles couldnt make room for my Extraction. I am already missing work. I feel like someone could accommodate me since I am already a previous patient, insured, & paid in full customer. Thats all. I completely trust your work. I just, for time sake, need this work done. Not your fault youre so popular.

I must say that the people working there are very friendly I felt comfortable, although a little disappointed at them knowing I dont have dental insurance that the prices would have been a little better . If I had $2,900 and the first place Im sure my teeth would be a lot better. Seeing and knowing that I had a real issue with one of my tooth that they would have been a little more compassionate about helping me, not asking anything for free but definitely affordable and workable. If you definitely have the funds or the financing to do procedures then this place would be amazing

This is a great dental establishment. I have had all of my work done here and believe the staff is wonderful. I recommend this facility to anyone wanting quality dental work done.

Everybody at Aspen are friendly, and professional. They do a great job. My wife and i have had great experiences as well as my wifes sister. You dont wait long either. 😀

When, I went there the staff was very nice and friendly. The young girl that do me the X-ray she was awesome. I was super nervous, not knowing what to expect. I had a super bad previous experience with my dentist many yrs ago, ever since I hesitated to go back. But everything changed, when I went to Aspen Dental office on Merritt Island Florida. They young girl, she was awesome. She guided me through out the entire process. I couldnt ask for better experience. I give them thumbs up.

I had a very nice experience. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long time so I was a little worried. All of the ladies there made me feel very comfortable and welcome.

Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel at ease. Dr. Chong was the most gentle dentist Ive ever visited. I definitely recommend giving her a visit if you need any dental work done.

Beware.......................This was my first visit to Aspen (the only dentist that would take my insurance) and all I wanted is to get my teeth clean. However, you have to go through an initial exam of x-rays and gum probing before you can go any further. The tech that did my x-rays was OK (treated me as a routine patient). The hygienist was pleasant but she tried to sell me their electric toothbrush. I finally met with the dentist briefly, who was a very young but pleasant.After all was done, I was ready to check out and thought I could schedule a basic cleaning.....but they told me I needed a deep cleaning and my insurance wouldnt cover all of it. After reviewing the invoice, I would have to pay $500.! All I want is a basic cleaning (that my insurance would cover 100%) but they said that they would NOT do that.?????In conclusion....the staff was OK but their policy is NOT!!!!!

This is for the Aspen Dental at 800 E Merritt Island Causeway in Merritt Island. I have been going to Aspen Dental for the last three years and am very pleased with the quality of dental cleanings, office assistance is getting in to see dentists, as well as the excellent care provided by Dr. Burns. Recently I broke a tooth and Doniese went out of her way to get me in to see Dr. Burns the same day. Then she took the time to review what my insurance would pay In terms I could understand. Also she took the time to get answers from Dr. Burns to questions I had. Even though Dr. Burns was very busy, he took the time to come out and talk with me, about questions I had concerning a dental implant. Thanks to Dr. Burns and Doniese.
