This place was a waste of money. I hate leaving bad reviews for local businesses but this one deserves it. Paid almost $30 to have my truck washed and did not even get the wheels cleaned. Hardly any soap came out at all. No vacuum provided no window cleaning just a run through a broken down automatic car wash. Paid nearly $30. Will never go again.

There was standing water in most of the self serve stalls and the machine wouldnt take my cash but the associate helped me and got me going. The vacuums have several options but the vacuum itself was the only one that worked. If youre looking for self serve though its hard to find so I would recommend this place to someone wanting to do the work themselves. They also have an automatic carwash stall but I didnt try it.

Owners nice. My truck was hand washed and when I got home took a look at it, basically just took the dirt offThere was still bird droppings right on the front hood. I will do it for 8.00 myself next time.

Value and consistency is the main thing I can say about Tropical car wash. I have been going to them for years and have never been disappointed. I actually called a few mobile detailers in the area bc we are still trying to “stay at home” and also I needed a couple cars done same day. They were about $40 less per vehicle so I saved almost $100. Tropical for both done by 3pm. Plus the other mobile company wanted to charge extra for dog hair... really? I can understand spilled food or puke but dog hair? Anyways, highly recommended. And remember, it’s not a machine doing this. This is a service. And a manual labor/attention to detail one at that. Always tip 15% minimum. : )

If you dont have coins you are SOL. There is a very old sign that says card reader does not work. Guess there is no plan to fix it. There were only 2 stalls operating when I went.

So my car had these vinyl decals on the hood. They were absolute trash, cracking from the heat the engine gives off plus living in Florida so the CONSTANT sun on them. They were horrid. No one would touch them to get them off. But they took on this task and got them off!! I’m so impressed and could not be happier with the results!! He also took the time to detail my car inside and out and it just looks amazing! Definitely going there from now on! Thank you so so much Tropical car wash!

Good car wash, but they need to fix the one stall it dose not work no soap comes out so beware of that ! Diffently let someone know if you get the bad stall ! They keep it open anyways ...

Great service! Had my dad’s truck detailed and was not disappointed! The owner came out and checked the employee’s work, made corrections and didn’t let us leave until HE was satisfied. Wonder job! Will definitely be back!Also the food truck! Excellent food and excellent prices! Very good service. Delivered us our food while we waited for or truck.

The hand car wash was fine but could be better.

Foam brush was broken. Moved to other stall, foam brush barely foams. My truck is as dirty now as it was before I went.

Well my boyfriend put 4 dollars in the machine and the foaming soap didnt come out! I called and was only able to leave a message with no return call! Complete waste of money

Tropical Car Wash did an excellent job cleaning the inside, washing and waxing my car. The Team was very friendly, they payed attention to cleanliness of my wheels, and was very thorough detailing both the inside and outside of my G35 Coupe. Thank you for your excellent work! ....I will be back!

Quit using this car wash 20 yrs ago. They never had soap or wax in their spray wands. Was in a hurry so decided to go there since its closest to my home. They still didnt have soap or even wax in the wand. The foam brush had watered down soap. Guess itll be 20 more years before Ill fall for them again.

Today was the last time I give this place a chance. I used to like this car wash because it was close to me. But the pressure has dropped off over time, and today I couldnt even get change from the machine I put in a crisp bill and its spit it back out and then it wouldnt let me put any more in. The side for debit card wasnt working. You would think with love bug season in full effect it would be ready to go. Now I will go out of my way to the car wash on Peachtree that is more well-maintained and has way better pressure.

You can either get a quick wash, a detail or do it yourself wash. Be patient with the change machine. It does work. Prices are reasonable. If you go in the first do it yourself stall, it can back up with water. I prefer the second stall.

I took my 4Runner here for detailing. I was charged $169 plus tax for what amounted to a car wash and scratches on my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle there were noticeable scratches and fresh, light blue paint that had not been there previously. Wilson tried to assure me that they couldnt have possible done it, because there was no blue paint anywhere around, despite the fact that there IS light blue paint on the building. When I got home, I inspected the rest of the car and saw smudges and dirt still in various places throughout the interior and exterior. This is not what anyone would consider detailing. It was a car wash at best. I am very disappointed as I had been looking for a good detailing facility.

This place is horrible. I wish I didnt even have to give it any stars. I went to get my windows tinted and the owner said he had someone thats been doing it for 18 years. He quoted me at 149 and even said it would get washed for free after. An hour after I sat there he came back in claiming that I already had some tint on my window that needed to be stripped first. He then said it would be another 100 on top of that. He said the film was already cut for my vehicle so that job had to be completed. He said I had no choice even if I walked away and said I didnt want to get it done, Id still have to pay $70 for the film and for the guy that he has contracted to do the tinting. Eventually after I told him it was bullshit that they would start a job without my permission of the extra costs, he came said he would only charge me an additional 50$ which is still ridiculous. Who pays 200$ to get their car tinted!?!? On top of all of that, this man (the owner) had some woman in there who was clearly working him to her advantage as it was obvious it seemed like he was using his place of business as a first date. He even GAVE this woman a necklace from his case because apparently he has advertised that he buys gold. Makes me feel like maybe if I would have smiled or flirted with him then I would have gotten my services free. She even talked him into purchasing the damn snack vending machine. Just by their conversation it was clear to me that they werent boyfriend and girlfriend and she obviously was/is looking for free services or a sugar daddy. This was by far one of the most unprofessional places I have even been to. Even when you take your car to a repair shop they look at it and come back and tell you whats wrong with the vehicle and a quote if how much it will cost to fix before they proceed. Well not this guy. He does what he wants and tries to stick you with a huge bill. His quote may be one of the cheapest but hes sure to make sure you leave spending a lot more than you thought you were going to spend. Stay away from this place if you dont want this to happen to you. Its truly disgusting. I wish I would have read the reviews before I came.

Took my brand new f-150 to get the windows tinted and a strip across windshield. They said it would take an hour, 3 hours later it was done. When I went to pick it up I inspected the work. The tinting job was an absolute joke. There was bubbles, scratches, and streaking everywhere. It was so bad I looked at the guy and asked it it was for real. The guy told me that no tint job is good unless it’s from factory and asked if 10 dollars off would be good. I told him that I just bought a brand new truck and the last think I want is to stare at scratches and bubbles all day. I asked them to rip it off and left. They left a ton of glue on windows and I went to jags in cocoa. Jags did a perfect job and looks amazing.

The most terrible business I have ever been to. The owner tried to charge me ridiculous prices for stuff I didn’t even need. The wait time is really long even tho he told me it would be done in 30 minutes and would stop working on my car to wash other people’s cars that just arrived this is because they are understaffed only have one or two people working at all times. Even with the long wait it still was dirty. I would not recommend this place. Also the employees said not to give there tips to the owner because they might not get them from him. Which is just unacceptable because they only make 5 dollars an hour

I own a Lawn & Landscape Company and have multiple trucks and cars, Wilson and his team keep everything looking fresh and clean, routinely! I would recommended them to anybody who needs a reliable, professional!

I have been using Tropical Car Wash the last 2 years.I would not go anywhere else for a complete detail.They even get the hard to reach places.My cars have come back looking great each time and the ownerhas inspected the cars to make sure.Keep up the good work!

THREE bucks to use their hose? Self wash...went through soap, rinse, and wax cycle. All had no smell and all were exactly the same. No bubbles. Not a drop of soap. Tons of spots and water runs off of wax, right?? SO obviously wax was water also. Oh well. Lesson learned and next time I need to use I hose with water, Ill stay home.

Ive been coming to Tropical Carwash for years. I trust them with all my vehicles even my motorcycle. Quality of service and attention to detail are second to none. Highly recommend. Owner is very knowledgeable and extremely experienced when it comes to all the ways to keep your vehicle clean and shiny!

WORST CAR WASH !!!I clean my car 2 times a week, I travel all over Florida and I’ve had my fair share of clean and efficient car washes... this by far was the worst car wash I’ve ever been to, First off I needed change, so I used their “change” machine and I could only get one dollar in until it wouldn’t take anymore money, completely went out of order... so I had enough to start the car wash with $2 ... whenever I start with the “foam brush”, it never worked ... so now I have no soap for my car, I then proceeded to just use the water and that was the only thing that would honestly work, all other functions were out of order from my opinion, but no sign has been posted to say otherwise. I took lots of photos but I cannot find where to post them to google, believe me I will never be back, please do NOT ‼️‼️ Waste your money here. They got $2.50 out of me.

What a wonderful experience the service was great! They know exactly what they are doing and the owner will make sure you leave with a smile on your face! For sure Great staff and a friendly owner if u havent been there u should stop by you will not be disappointed!

Described what I wanted done, was told I wanted hurricane wash for $15. Went to pay and saw that the package with my requested services was a different package for $11. Attendants did a very poor job of drying and wiping the interior. I did not find the wash worth what I paid.Came back and tried the self-wash option. There is no soap so when the selector is in the soap position you only get water. Notified attendant and was told thats the way it is, use the brush. Decided to leave and unfortunately left my bag of quarters on top of the selector and drove away. Realized my mistake quickly and turned around to retrieve them, and naturally they were gone. The icing on the cake was that the owner/attendant said too bad when I discussed it with him.

Very nice wait time was good. Excellent service with a smile. And they were busy. I had love bugs that were on my car for over a week. And they got them off. 😊👍

Overpriced for the quality. Think I got a C job at an A cost this time. Previously we have received quality detail work on our vehicles for the expected high cost. Not sure what happened to cause the decline.

Worst self-service car wash I’ve ever been to in my life. The first thing you notice is a handwritten sign that says “soap only in brush.” Well first of all you will never manage to soap down your vehicle and rinse it in the short time period that $1.75 gets you. So the wash is going to cost you $3.50. Secondly the brush was dry as a bone. Just a very tiny trickle of soap. If any. Total waste of money.

Went to get my car Detailed And RE TINTED Detailing was good BUT HORRIBLR JOB IN THE TINTINGMESSED UP ALL WINDOWS THEY WERE ALL “SCRATCHED” and I have a nice MercedesTo top that off I ask for Dark tint and they gave me a lighter tint argued with me and told me it was the same as my old color but it was notMESSED UP ALL MY WIRING FOR MY ANTENNA when removing the old tint THE CAR LOOKS HORRIBLEhad to pay more to get a professional job to make it look more decent I was so embarrassed driving it the way it was . They would not give me a refund but will be taking them to court I have all the proof I need to show the unprofessionalism they showed on my windows

I had my windows tinted about two years ago I now have a bubble on my back window my car is still under warranty but they informed me that they don’t tent windows anymore and there’s nothing they can do about it I paid well over $200 another not standing behind their warranty just because they’re not tinting windows anymore now I have to contact the window tent supplier and find another business That uses the same kind of tent they did and try and get them to fix my window under warranty

They got my husbands car looking brand new and we were able to sell it for top dollar!

The soap provided in the self service bay is watered to the point where it’s ineffective.

I paid $10 for the automatic car wash, expecting just to have the machine do its work and drive-thru. Instead, the guy working there did prep work on the windows, the tires the bumpers and all the bugs stuck to the vehicle. Then wiped down the vehicle along with the windows after I went through the carwash. Then I was on my way. Well worth the $10.

Under no circumstances should you go to tropical carwash and be talked into any auto repair service. For the last few months, every time I went for a car wash, the owner would solicit me for auto repairs.I found myself needing new ball joints and a regular repair shop wanted $700 for the repairs. The owner told me his mechanic could handle the job, no problem for $500.Two hours after dropping my truck off the owner called me and told me Mechanic was having a problem and we would have to wait until later on the day for someone else to come and help.As a former Mechanic I went back there to see what the problem was and it was quickly obvious his mechanic and Apsley no idea what he was doing, after questioning Mechanic he told me he has never done a ball joint replacement and hes very short career.The shop is not licensed as a repair facility and not registered with the state for Florida as a repair facility. I always thought they did a good job on the carwashes but I would highly recommend you stay away from their repair services.

Took our brand new vehicle that we had purchased 5 days earlier for its first wash at TROPICAL CARWASH in South Merritt Island off Courtenay Parkway. As soon as we got home, I immediately noticed some serious deep swirl marks/scratches on the hood of our expensive new SUV which, as you would expect from a 5 day old vehicle, was flawless before the car wash. My fiancé immediately returned to show the owner of this establishment what they had done. He proceeded to get extremely defensive, and deny all accountability. He then decided it was necessary to scream in her face, where she was forced to call 911 because of how insane and irrational this OWNER was behaving. He even had the nerve to be snappy and rude with the Brevard County Sherriffs Deputy that arrived on the scene within minutes. The officer filled out a report and opened a case. He instructed us to contact our insurance company with this case number, who will then be in contact with this terrible business and their insurance company (if they even have any)... I plan to pursue this insane mishap until justice is served, and this god awful excuse of a business owner gets what he deserves. What ever happened to standing behind your product or service? I guess those days are over, at least in this very unprofessional mans eyes. Morale of the story... Do not get yourself into a long drawn out legal matter that I now have to deal with... Just for wanting a clean car. DO NOT TAKE ANY VEHICLE HERE. This Wilson, the owner, is the worst kind of person Ive ever come across, and is a disgrace to all the hardworking and honest small business owners out there. Please share this with all friends and family who take pride in their vehicles.
