Wasnt the best experience Ive had at a sports clips. The person cutting my hair asked how much I wanted cut off I said about an inch and she tripled that. No big deal it will grow back but was kind of a bummer.

I checked in on the online app in order to not waste my time waiting for a haircut. I get there check in it says Next on deck and that I was checked in. Stylist came up typed something on the computer I get a text explaining that they are sorry I was not there on time when I was in the lobby. It’s pretty clear she removed my registration and the next slot was an hour away. HORRIBLE SERVICE

They are so friendly and give quality consistent haircuts. Ashley, Krystal, and the gang take great care of you in the locker room and sports themed environment. The MVP includes a wash and scalp massage, with hot towel face cover.

Worst hair cut experience with my children ever. They were super impatient with my children that I told them were autistic (and were really well behaved). Had the nerve to charge me a long hair fee of $10 for my daughters hair which was barely past her shoulders. Over $60 for 3 kids hair cuts. My sons was so bad I had to fix it myself, cuz no way am I going back to that place ever, unless its for a refund!! Absolutely terrible...

Good hair cut but not great people they like to talk badly about customers to other customers.

First off, great haircut. Stylist was super friendly and courteous. Clean and organized facility. The MVP treatment was awesome.

Always stressful stopping in and taking the “next stylist available”. Wait time was a little long but I got a fantastic cut from Leonor. Might be one of the best fades I’ve ever had. Love it. I would def come back!

Fast service and great haircuts!

I have gotten many haircuts from this location, but will NEVER go back. I was the only customer at the store in the waiting room. One of the stylists finished but instead of starting my hair cut she sat there and did nothing for 10 minutes until the next online check in arrived. If there is a customer there at your store and your online customer has not showed up you should help the customer that is there. Other you should not accept walk in customers at all. This is absolutely the worst customer service plan of any hair salon I have ever been too.

Never have had a bad haircut here.

Great place for mens haircuts and be a little pampered

We visited this location on 06.22.20 around 1pm. My son called before our visit. He asked what the wait time was and if they cut females hair. He was told that there was “no wait time” and that they provided “basic women’s cuts but charge extra for layers”.We were desperate so we arrived at the location.Once we arrived we checked in via non person contact, which was great and earned one 👍As we sat there awaiting service, we saw our names on the screen showing a 48 min wait time👎🏻 But we were ok with that and we continued waiting.Next, we noticed the prices 👎🏻 $22 or $24 for a haircut, and “extra for a basic women’s haircut if they want layers”.First off what exactly is a “basic haircut” on a woman??? And what amount is extra for layers??? No signs in the salon are even targeted towards a woman. I get that this is a male targeted business, but how is it ok to be so vague about services to a female???The staff was friendly which earns 2 stars instead of one 👍We ended up walking out before receiving services.So let’s recap, there was a wait time and this business does provide “basic” haircuts to a female (whatever that means) with undisclosed extra charges for layers.....C’mon now, you, as a business can do better than that 😏

First trip to sport clips and it was great. I have 3 boys ages 2, 15, and 17. I’ll definitely be going here from now on. What a cool place for guys. Do you offer shaving, or beard trimming? That would be amazing.

While I usually am over satisfied with my Sports Clips experience, this occasion was different. I travel frequently and have been to many Sports Clips locations. Each time I visit a new location I have been upgraded to the MVP for being new to that location. After my haircut and beard trim, I inquired about why I wasnt upgraded to the MVP. Erica was my stylist and she informed me that her manager doesnt consider being new to that location as being new to Sports Clips. I found that odd as I have never encountered this before at the locations I visited in Arizona, Utah Washington, and in south east Boise. Not to mention that while I was paying, the screen read New Client MVP. So did I get the discount without getting the service? Im confused. After leaving, my girlfriend noticed that my beard had a huge bald spot in it. We turned around and went back in to have her fix it. While she did fix it, she explained that it looked like that because hair didnt grow right there. So why not do what you can to make it look good? Overall I wasnt impressed by this stylist.After returning home and showering, I noticed that my hair was cut unevenly. I sure hope that this experience is due to the stylist alone and is not a reflection of this store as a whole.UPDATE: 7/13/2019I emailed the owner following her reply to my comment three weeks ago and it was never returned. Thanks but no thanks, that location will never see my business again.

Outstanding crew at this location! I used to have my hair cut at an Eagle Styling Salon and paid more than double per haircut. When I couldnt get an appointment before an International trip, I gave Sport Clips in N. Meridian a try when my son was getting his hair cut. Wow- fantastic cut and super friendly staff without the Salon pricing! Now I ONLY get my cuts done at Sports Clips. Thanks to the owners and gals at the North Meridian location for such great quality cuts, clean facility, and friendly atmosphere!!!

Wasted an hour of my time waiting, just for someone to walk in and take my spot

My 11 year old son got the worst haircut Ive ever seen here today. I could have done a better job with a weed wacker in my garage. His haircut is so far from what we asked for and what was notated from previous visits its incredible. Literally just wanted to shave the sides and blend into his long hair on top with a little trim. What he got was half of his head shaved all the way up and over the crown of his head with a little hair left up front. He does not even want to got school tomorrow because he thinks hes going to get made fun of. This haircut does not even resemble an actual style its like the lady tried to make a new style up on his head.

Pros:I personally dont get my hair done here, but my husband, sons and father do. I think they do a nice job. Friendly staff, clean facility.Cons:My only complaint is their online check in system. You cannot check until 5 minutes after the store had opened. By that time there are already 5 to 8 people at the door waiting to get in and they can check in, in person, immediately at the front desk check-in system. Rendering the app useless. In cases of young men who can get to in immediately, its not a problem...but not the case for my father. He cannot spring to the door fast so even though we waited to get in 5 to 8 people get in before us and we end up waiting even though we were one if the first people there. When asking the staff about this, they just look at me like I have three heads on my shoulders. Fix the app to allow check in at the exact time of opening, or better yet, fix the app so you can schedule a hair cut 30 minutes prior to opening your doors. For this reason, I could only give 4 stars.

Used to be a good place to get a hair cut .Seems all the original sfarr has left. Asked for a fade with #1to #2. She just did a regular taper no fade whatever was easier for her. Would never recommend or go back. Also cost 23 bucks. Ripoff

It was very busy when we went in. Back to school time. They made sure to greet everyone and were very efficient. I cant remember who cut my sons hair. I should have got her name because she was excellent! Even though they were busy they were working hard! Great experience. Will definetly be back!

Terrible service. Check in online was told there was a 40 minute wait. Received a text message to head to the store. Sent my husband and son they seen his name on the board as being next. The stylist took another person she knew that had just walked in the door. My husband and son ended up having to wait another 40 minutes and ended up walking out, terrible service. If youre going to have online check in, your stylist should not include walk in favoritism.

I am a fan of Sports Clips here in Meridian! The young ladies who work here understand how to cut guys hair and I have not had a bad haircut and have always been happy with the service and quality. I like the new check in method and the fact you can see your turn on the big screen.

Stylists are well trained in cutting a mans hair, nothing fuffy about getting a haircut here. Like the concept of just having your haircut and reading magazines that appeal to me while waiting, no Cosmo or hair styling magazines can be found in the waiting area.

First experience at Sport Clips was a great experience. Entertainment, solid haircut, massage chair during hair wash, cheerful staff.

The estimated time for next guest is way off. It shows 1 minute for the next guest when there are at least three people in front of them. The waiting time was closer to 30+ minutes. The place is full of people waiting and you have a stylist taking 10+ minute break then coming back to clean her station. You would think that the breaks would be taken during the less busy times. The waiting area doesnt look like it has been swept all day. There is hair all over the waiting area.

I want to leave 0 stars here....Ive visited this location a few times because it is close. They rush through the haircut, and almost everytime I have to try and fix the uneven mess they leave when I get home. A couple of the girls do a good job, but they are not always workin. The older lady Kathy (I think thats her name) is the worst. She messes my hair up everytime. I can not recommend this place to anyone. Lady Janes over on Eagle does a better job and the haircut there is $12 vs $18 at Sports Clips for a basic cut.
