They are a very nice staff.The nurses are awesome, they’re very interested in listen to your concerns.The dentist, Victoria is very professional. She teaches you how to brush a 1 yo teeth!I recommend this place!

My child has enjoyed all her experiences here from extensive dental work to bi-annual cleanings. The staff is always very nice to both of us. All details, procedures, and after care were explained to us very well. Due to COVID, I was not able to be in the room with my child, but there are windows to view from. I would highly recommend this dental office to any parent.

Highly recommended. I took my son there, though it was his first visit to a dentist, they made him comfortable and the environment is kids friendly. He got his teeth cleaning done. There was no waiting time for the appointment and parked my car right across the street at Free Parking.

My kids have grown up in Dr. Vus care. Its pretty amazing to hear both kids say that theyre excited to go to the dentist. The office is impeccably clean, professionally run, and Dr. Vu and her staff are knowledgeable, informative, and kind. I honestly couldnt ask for a better dental experience for my children. Do not go here if you are uncomfortable giving out your social security number to random people. They have NO business obtaining anyone’s SSN, and it’s ridiculous that they were so insistent on having my SSN even though I booked an appointment in advance and showed up on time for it. I have asked around, and no other dental offices (pediatric or not) do not collect ssn from their patients. I do not care for the receptionist’s attitude either.

It was my first visit at the clinic today and I was pretty put off by their front desk personnel, to the point where I did not make a return appointment for my child. They collect every single private information about you as the parent, including your SSN, for no apparent reason, as they’re not doing a background check on you, and already have the relevant information for billing such as address and insurance information. When I wanted to leave it blank due to privacy concerns (such as identity theft, all it takes is one data breach), this front desk personnel insisted. I didn’t want to cancel my child’s appointment on the spot, so I relented, but was not pleased. In short, bad first impression and I regret making an appointment here.

Very clean and covid sensitive. I just dont like how I am not allowed in with my child. Even with being screened I was not able to go back with my 4 year old. I would think exceptions could be made for a child so young. Also, they said to wait in the car or outside until my children were done with their appointments, however when I was called to pick them up, there were three other parents waiting in the waiting room..

My Kids are not the best at being well-behaved. I did not have high hopes for this dentist appointment. To my surprise not only did it go extremely well, my kids actually enjoyed it. I definitely recommend and give 5 stars. They have patience and know how to approach children while providing excellent care. Thank you!

My 3.5yr old son just transition successfully from dentist appointment with mom to the big boy dentist chair by himself. Dr Vu and the MIPD team made that all possible with their kind & welcoming approach and all the things that interest little boys and make them comfortable for a new experience! My kid have been coming to Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry since they open. The have flexible schedule and even open on Saturday. Make our life much easier. The staff are friendly and helpful. The waiting area is very welcoming and we enjoy playing video game every time we here. 😃👍

Absolutely amazing place! Clean, friendly and knowledgeable. They helped my daughter with an abscess that was forming and luckily it was caught early! She made my daughter feel comfortable and had a very positive experience. We are new to the Island and moved from Arizona and I can easily say that this is the best pediatric dentist we’ve come across. We’re so happy we found them and won’t be going elsewhere. You won’t regret it.

Really good :) Incredible that taking a very active 2 year old toddler to the dentist was a stress free experience! Easy to park, elevator from parking to the office, real quick and efficient check in, and the doctor and assistant where very experienced in dealing with non collaborative toddlers so we were able to do a full review of the kids teeth plus taking some plaque off in a way that almost seemed easy. Great experience!

Im new to the Seattle area and was dreading finding new dentists and doctors for our family because I loved our providers so much back home. Im excited to say that I LOVED going to Dr. Vu and Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry. Today was our first visit -- my child is just over 2 -- and I loved the efficiency of her process (loved that all the forms were online and I could easily complete them before the visit), the layout of the waiting area (very kid friendly), the kind and caring staff, as well as the time that we spent to talk about my child and his dental needs. As an added touch, after our visit we explored the office and allowed my toddler to see area just so that he could see it without having to experience it and then have a cleaning. Its truly geared towards kids and I love the idea of having that kind of specialization. It was a great visit and glad that I can check find new childrens dentist off my list!

Weve lived on the island for a couple years and have always had a great experience. The staff is friendly and responds quickly with questions or concerns. Dr. Vu is informative and makes the kids feel comfortable with their dental experience.

I brought my 11 month old to her first dental appointment. The office is beautiful with lots of toys and a bright, child friendly atmosphere. Dr. Vu was great. She made it very comfortable for the baby and was willing to spend time to discuss and explain her dental care. I felt that her expertise as a pediatric dentist was valuable and will be continuing to go there in the future!Update: Have been bringing my daughter in for 1.5 years now. At her most recent visit at 2.5 years old she loved getting her cleaning done in the dental chair watching movies on the ceiling. She didnt shed a tear. The experience there has been really positive and my daughter cant stop talking about wanting to go back to the dentist!

Brought my 5 and 3 year old kids to the dentist. They were patients in NJ prior to this visit. Office was clean, modern, and had plenty of things to entertain kids. Exam was thorough and my kids loved it so much they asked when they can go to the dentist again! Highly recommend this practice and Dr. Vu!

My two children have been under the extremely competent care of Dr. Vu for 1.5 years. It is a beautifully appointed, state of the art office, with great entertainment for the kids. The hygienist is lovely, and the staff welcoming and helpful. Everyone seems to work hard to make every visit pleasant. At our initial visit, my youngest had eight cavities (one required a crown) in her baby teeth. I was nervous my daughter would refuse to return after the first appointment in which she received three fillings; however, she was a trooper and willing went to all three visits to complete the work thanks to Dr. Vu and her staff for making her feel comfortable and brave. I feel confident that my kids are receiving the best pediatric dental care possible.

Dr. Vu and her associates are professional and provide excellent quality care. We also appreciate how attentive Dr. Vu is about our concerns. Both of our toddlers get care and love the available amenities. Their favorite part is getting tokens at the end of the session for a fun toy. There is free ample parking in the building too which is helpful for families!

My 7 year old daughter goes here. The doctor and staff are fantastic with kids.

This dentist illegally bills clients exorbitant interest rates. The usury laws of Washington State RCW 19.52.020(1) state the maximum interest rate is 12% per year. When I calculate the interest rate they charged us for an invoice that went unpaid for 85 days it was 931% per year. The worst part was not the interest rate it was the harassing call. The receptionist let us know, in the most belittling tone, we were late. We had not seen the original invoice come in. We scrambled to find the latest unopened invoice we had just received yesterday and it said we were billed $177 for a cleaning. After insurance and adjustments the final bill came to $46. After 30 days they charged a $25 fee or 18% whichever is MORE. Then they apply that same fee every 14 days! Wow, $25.00 OR 18% every 14 days!!! The receptionist said they would remove the late fees after we complained and said the fees are astronomical. I cant help to think Dr. Vu gets away with defrauding her patients! They tried charging $96 for a $46 bill that was 85 days late. As I said, the worst part was the receptionists belittling tone and her demand for immediate payment, which was unwarranted because we were not aware of the outstanding balance. We will be switching to a new dentist and paying the original invoiced amount. If you use this dentist hire an accountant and a lawyer first because they have fraudulent billing practices.

Dr. Vu and her staff were very patient with my 6yr old twins the first time we went. Their scheduling system and automatic reminders are quick, and easy to navigate. Saturday appointments are awesome! I appreciated her taking the time to explain the importance of good brushing when they had a cavity, then followed up with praises of accomplishment when we went back 6 months later cavity free. My kids felt good about their responsibilities of brushing. They left the office with new kid friendly toothbrushes, a book mark and got their names entered into her monthly prize drawing for no cavities. We wont be going anywhere else! Thank you to your entire team!

Would highly recommend! From my initial phone call to schedule appointments for my 3 children, I found the staff friendly and professional. They were able to fit us in quickly and early in the morning to avoid missing school. I could complete new patient forms online in advance saving me time and hassle. The office is modern and fun. Toys and games for kids while they wait, TVs above the chairs while the kids are being examined, even cute sunglasses to protect their eyes from the bright lights. We had 3 different hygienists and all were lovely and very patient and kind for cleanings, x-rays, and sealants. Best of all the kids were excited to take home a really impressive goody bag, prize, and enter in the no-cavity drawing held monthly for a grand prize. I was very impressed with the convenience (of scheduling, parking in the building, computer system and immediate access to my health insurance policies and coverage), quality of the providers (hygienists and Dr.Vu are clearly well trained and highly professional and friendly), and facility. We will continue to use Mercer Island Pediatric Dentistry for all of our future needs!

The dentist has little to no empathy, and seems eager to make money out of little patients. There was no introduction to ease my sons into a new dental clinic, and they urge us to take xrays for my 4 yo didnt bother to give any explanation of the necessity. After finding some cavities, Dr. Vu suggested to do all procedures in one visit which requires to put my 4 yo to sleep under general anesthesia (When I asked about the risks and side effects, she didnt explain, just simply stated they would have a pediatric anesthesiologist to do the work) then she said so I can do my work. We feel being rushed and pressured. The consultation was short and impatient. My little one was uncomfortable with the polishing (I told the hygienist this is his first time at the beginning of the visit) and no one in the office bothered to offer any toys or helped (I assume they would know how to make this process a little easier for little ones since it is a pediatric dentistry, right?), it ended up with very unsuccessful polishing then Dr. Vu applied fluoride treatment abruptly ignoring my little protesting and crying. We had a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience and wont be going back.

I took my 2 yr old granddaughter to see Dr. Vu for her very first dental appt. As a pediatric nurse, I was expecting Dr. Vu to be warm and caring. There was no engaging with the little one, no explaining to her about what was going to happen. After a vigorous brushing with my granddaughter screaming, Dr. Vu told her to sit up and be quiet so she and I could talk.This was a very disappointing visit. We wont be going back.Our meeting with her dental assistant went well.

Dr. Vu and staff are always so easy to work with, they understand how to deal with the children and really makes my children feel at ease. She takes the time to explain our options, what is being done and why. Dr. Vu is very sweet and kind and my children can sense that. I would highly recommend you try Dr. Vu and her staff and my wife reminded me that I need to add that growing up we never had dentist offices that was so beautiful, modern, hip, and provides video games for the children to play while they wait for their siblings. Awesome experience over the years and will continue to take my children there as long as I can.

Not only did Dr Vu and her amazing staff see my son that same day but they took such great care of him! They were so warm and welcoming and put my son at ease. We were very grateful. One of my other sons had a minor issue a few months later and Dr Vu saw him right away and we appreciated it!
