Courtesy is an excellent small business. Their staff is very helpful. Their policies and pricing are very good, especially compared to the better known large companies. The owner shuttled me back home after I dropped my rental off, which was a huge help! I cannot recommend then enough.

Even though they could not guarantee that specific vehicle, they did everything in their power to get me the vehicle I wanted. In this case the customer got what they wanted. They totally scammed me because they claimed to have found cigarette ash underneath the seat between mounting bracket and carpet. Charged me $200 for cleaning, I didnt smoke in their car. Dont rent from there, I wont ever again

So fast and easy. I didnt need utility bills or proof of address like the other places wanted. I even used cash! They were all so nice and the car was clean and drove so smooth. Ill never go anywhere else again!

It is always a joy to work with Courtesy when I need to rent a vehicle. They are always friendly and professional. Never pushing extras you dont need and if you rent more than a handful of times they tend to remember you. The rates are reasonable and the cars are kept in really good running condition. I try only to use them for car rentals.

Got a rental covered through my dealership warranty. Picked up the car on Friday and the gas level was on full. Driven 4 miles out and the last bar of gas went out. Dropped the car on Tuesday and I pumped the gas until it had clicked. When I started the car the last bar was blinking on and off. Got to Courtesy to return the car the associate who helped me say the car was missing a bar and that the associate who was giving me a ride back would stop by a gas station for me to fill it up. Stopped by a gas station to fill up and it was almost $10.00 more into but the pump had stopped and was no longer clicking. The associate turned on the car and that last bar was still not showing up so she borrowed my phone to call her manager/associate who had helped me at the office to let her know what was going on. I was on a 30 minute lunch and I spent almost an hour trying to return the rental and picking up my car from the dealership all while trying to figure out the gas. For a Nissan Versa I dont think the gas would had been more than $22 to fill it up when the gas was more than half way full but I hope this get figured out for the next customer who rent. My point was to get your fuel gauge fix or know how your fuel gauge work to avoid the problem as in the response it was mentioned that 2 more gallons but yet it failed to read correctly.

They are very friendly there and lindsay goes out of her way to help you .she is a sweet person.when you rental a car from there when you return it they ask you if you need a ride somewhere.thats the only place I go if I need a rental car they have a selection of cars to rent and they also have a package deal for what your using the cat for.like to take a trip its a mileage package.so stop by there and tell them hi and check out their rental deals.you wont be sorry.

I had a positive experience with Courtesy Car Renatl. The price is fair, the car was very clean, and the entire transaction was smooth. The only negative thing I can say is that I have never been given a certain amount of miles. I understand that is Courtesys policy and if I wanted more miles, I could have purchased more. In the past, whenever I have rented a car, I get the car and go. Aside from the specific miles allotted, I would definitely rent a car from Courtesy in the future.

I tried to support our local business and used Courtesy rather than Budget to rent a truck. PIck up time needs to be changed because someone else rented that truck. When we returned, they said we make a tiny dent and asked for $75.Make sure you take photos when you have the walk through and spot every little thing.The photo is to reply.Let your customer check it out and judge for themselves.If there are other customers who report the same spot/damage, we reserve to pursue our money back legally.This is what I remembered:Before I rent, I came to check out the truck and you said you will remove the bar in the bed because I need the full eight feet of length. I assumed I talked with you, the owner, who said your company could remove it.When we picked up the truck, the bar was still there. Luckily the cargo wasnt as big as we think.Apparently, when my dad who is at retirement age, picked up the car. The lady said dont worry about it. He spotted other spots too. Then he didnt pay much attention to the other spots.When he returned the car, another lady said she found it. My dads English and personality are not the argumentative type.And I know the owner has the power to ask the person who showed the truck to us whether she said it was ok.And the second point isAnd you contacted me regarding pushing back the time to pick up the truck because you have another customer.Being a small business owner myself, I want to help the local small business, but I want to make sure we play fair.We both know the turnover time is very short. How do you be sure the dent not caused by the previous renter?All three of us in the truck. My mom didnt drive. All three of us didnt purposely damage your truck.It would be nice to see the invoice of $75 which was quoted on the day of our return and the actual work was done to the truck.The location was told and shown on the picture. Hopefully your future customers will judge themselves.

Ive rented a vehicle from Courtesy in Merced, three different times. Each experience was better than the fist. That being said, I wouldnt think about going anywhere else to rent a vehicle! The staff there at Courtesy Merced are all very polite, and very efficient at their jobs. In and out in no time, with a clean, bright shiny car.

They removed my previous review because it was the truth. It was about how horrible this company is and the refund that was supposed to be refunded to me because my spouse turned in the vehicle. I was supposed to keep it over the weekend but instead, my spouse returned it the next day because it was ridiculously priced. And then they didnt want to refund my money although I was in the hospital and he returned. They even had the audacity to TEXT me and tell me that I wasnt in the hospital. Unprofessional all around. Absolutely horrible thieving company. I wouldnt refer them to the Devil himself!!! Im sure this will be removed also. DONT DO IT! GO TO ENTERPRISE, THIS COMPANY ISNT WORTH THE HEADACHE OR HASSLE.I HATE to hit the one star button, because it was definitely in the negative!

The rental process was smooth and easy, and I would have given it 5 stars, until it came to the return of my deposit. The deposit was made on a Thursday, the following Tuesday the money was still not refunded to my account. When I spoke with the attendant on Tuesday morning, she was very proud of having worked there for 4 years, and in admonishing me for being rude, and was quite effusive about her experience. Clearly, she was more knowledgeable than my bank, about the time it takes to refund money. Prior to this morning, I would have definitely recommended this business, now, Id say, dont hand your card to them, only deal with a cash deposit and make sure you walk out of the building with it. Hint to Courtesy, if a customer is upset, you might want to listen to them first, before you start telling them what an expert you are, and how much experience you have.

Their rental cars are overpriced. Youre using it the rental car to go outta town I would suggest that you go somewhere else. Because they only give you a 100 miles per day. So that means if you need to go to Fresno or Modesto or some other place Use a different company

Well I’m changing my stars coz the way I was treated today with your manager today.. I understand that she is having a bad day but don’t take it out of me.. I’m trying to get a rental for next weekend but with the last week was, they are not sure about the rental.. I had to take my business elsewhere and will be losing money this month.. I’m trying to relocate to Portland, Oregon on my means of my budget each month.. Since my last review and I didn’t updated in time, I had a better experience after another company turned me down due to short payment and my other company had to do a credit check? Really? So I went to the other small guy and he could do much either but I did got a call back from Sim after I was already stressed out in getting a rental for the weekend.. so I came back down and put my life on line but everything worked out at the end.. thank god for those awesome ppl from Courtesy.. 😊😊
