Our 12 year old son had deficits in reading, organization, direction following, anxiety, facial ticks, OCD, hyperactivity, social skills and self-esteem. We struggled for years to find a solution. The team at Brain Balance welcomed our son and our family with so much love and care and has been walking beside us through this journey to a whole new world for our son! His reading comprehension and vocabulary scores have soared, he no longer needs extra help in literacy class as before! He is much more confident and independent in his school work and has been receiving As and Bs! The facial ticks vanished along with the OCD and he is much more calm and thoughtful. We cant say enough about this program! It is the miracle we were praying for!

Our experience with Brain Balance has been incredible. The staff is great! Everyone is friendly, kind and encouraging. What truly speaks volumes is that my daughter never complained, not even once, about going to her sessions. She enjoyed it so much that she created her own Brain Balance studio at home. We attended Brain Balance in Mequon over the summer of 2020. They were amazing at providing a very clean and covid friendly space. I felt completely safe attending in the midst of the pandemic with their health/safety protocols.After doing an initial assessment and realizing our daughter was falling further and further behind developmentally, we made the commitment to attend in person sessions. Since we live quite far from the nearest clinic (3 hours round trip) it wasnt an easy commitment. I feel like I finally have my daughter back. Her academics improvement alone would have made it worth it but our home is much calmer since she is better able to regulate herself during stressful situations.I like that Brain balance utilizes 3 different components to a treatment plan including a very healthy diet, home exercises and in clinic work which really seem to address root causes. I had previously researched other alterative treatment (non-pharma) plans for ADHD and many were similar in cost but didnt really involve a whole body approach.Give it a shot and sign up for an initial assessment. You wont regret making this decision for your child.

My son has struggled socially and in school for as long as we can remember. As we approached high school we knew something needed to be done to help him with his struggles. We had him tested in school and at the doctor and their resolution was medication. We tried he, he did not like how it made him feel and found that he was throwing away the pills. Honestly, I was not a believer, I do believe in medicine, and until the evaluation was done on my son, and I could see the deficiencies on paper, I was a skeptic. After seeing where my son needed work and allowing Brain Balance to fix those deficiencies, I am now a believer. This program has changed our lives, especially his.
