I have been using this store for over 10 years, but recently the quality of service has gone down hill. They try to charge the highest rate they can get away with. They offer the next day and 2-Day services as the default options. They will try to re-box a shipment even when the box I brought in is fine. They charged me $5 just to tape a box shut. I tried to buy a roll of 100 stamps and they wanted over $60 when the same roll of stamps is worth $55. I said it last time, but this time I mean it. I will not be back to this store.
Make sure you ask about shipment prices. The lady there only offered air prices and unfortunately my significant other accepted the 2 day air price which would arrive the same time as ground. Why would the lady only offer these prices when it’s obvious there are other choices that arrive at the same time. Taking advantage of individuals not familiar with the shipping options seems pretty shady.
I went here to ship a wedding dress and the kind employee warned me of scams with wedding dresses lately and she caused me to double check the email that I had received. That’s when I figured out I was being scammed. I called them and asked them not to ship it and they held it for me until the next day. I was thoroughly impressed with this store and it’s employees. I am very thankful to that employee. She didn’t have to say anything but because she did, I was saved from losing a lot of money. Thank you!
I was having trouble with an Amazon return, tried to handle it myself, and then asked for assistance when I couldnt figure it out. The woman working behind the counter said I dont know, figure it out yourself.
THEY ARE AMAZING!!!! I mis-labeled an Amazon return with a usps label, did not realize until the next morning -my hero went to USPS AND GOT MY PACKAGE BACK!!! I brought my correct label and got it shipped out immediately!!! Customer service is A-1 and this is the only UPS store I’ll go to!!! They rock!!!
Rates are insane. Went to print off 4 pieces of paper it was 3$ and for a box they wanted 15$ on top of that. By far the most expensive UPS store there is. The one located In Lakewood is 6$ total for a box and printing off paper. DO NOT GO HERE.
We had shipped a custom made package that we later realized had the incorrect address. They went above and beyond to make sure that the label was corrected after it was already picked up and it was delivered to the correct address. We cant thank you enough!!!
Siri is a lovely and compassionate worker. I was lucky to have had her wait on me. I went back in the middle of January when my husband was in rehab hospital. I was sending him a box of things he had asked for. Off it went. I walked out to my car and my phone rang. It was his caseworker telling me that they were sending him home the NEXT day. I ran back in to see if they could put a hold on it. She said it was already gone. Two days later I received on my porch the box I had been sending to my husband. SHE had stopped the package from being sent, put MY address on it and sent it to me! What a thoughtful girl! And what a great employee!Thanks!Debbie Pietrantozzi
Told siree wanted to send a package cheapest way. Was told $24, then $20, then $14. What a scam and hassle she kept lowering the price as I was about to leave with my package. Also in the midst of transaction she would just stop and interact with her co worker. Couple months ago had sent package that was $71. Probably got robbed then too!! Learned my lesson will not go back, heading to ups in highland hts from now on. Idk if this is a standard practice at all the ups stores to upsell to make the store more money? I shouldnt have to negotiate a shipping price. Also most of the 5 star reviews, r people that have only reviewed one place cuz they r probably made up.
I will never spend my hard earned dollars at this location again, the staff chooses to whom they will provide good customer service to based on how you look. Ive been in here for 30 minutes and this has not been a pleasant experience at all. I paid twice for 27 pages to be faxed. My first fax did not go through completely so I paid again for the 27 pages that I have and only 25 went through. When I made a complaint about this Im getting all kinds of talk back and disregard from the staff. The female then puts my face through again even though I tell the Male representative that I dont want her waiting on me. She then allows my fax to go through the system crumpled up. Please believe I will never come here again and I will reach out to corporate . One star is too many!
Worst customer service experience ever. It is the holiday shipping season and you staff your store with one counter help ( one employeein the whole store). The gentleman was far form a gentleman. I will from now on take my shipping needs to FedEx office. At FedEx Office they are well staffed, friendly and I dont have to wait 20 minutes to get returned items dropped off for Amazon. I hope this owner of this UPS Store Franchisees sells to someone that cares about there business and customers service
Unbelievable customer service! Employee went out of her way to specially pick up an item from a local business and ship it to me in Denver! Customer service doesnt get any better than this!

I had a large heavy item to return from my baby shower. I was 9 months pregnant and the female associate came out to my car and handled it for me. I was greatly appreciative 😊
Worst UPS location ever. Do not return Amazon packages here. They charge for a box when boxes arnt even needed. I dropped off an Amazon return and it still says it’s waiting to be dropped off even though I have a tracking receipt in hand.The lady does not give out receipts and you must ask for one! She has short changed me several times and I have asked Corporate to step in.Do not buy stamps from here either! USPS/giant eagle/every other store charged face value, she charges 15-20% more! Roll of stamps $69 compared to $55 at other stores!This lady is beyond rude!
Make sure you question the prices they give you!! All I needed was to purchase a single box to put a jacket in for an Amazon return that covers shipping. They charged me for box, and then packing and mailing fees. I called another store to ask their prices because it didn’t make sense. They told me I could of put the jacket in the box myself and saved $15.Returning this jacket cost 1/3 of what I bought it for. Greedy location!
There were customers in the store not wearing masks. The employees were not doing anything about it. I did not feel safe in this store. Unbelievable when Lake Countys cases are surging.
Shady business dealings. Charged my wife $20 to tape the top of a box to return to Amazon then said that was an Amazon charge. Amazon confirmed she was lying and thats where she claimed it was for the service provided.
Was sending a package internationally. The rather rude lady, picked up the shirt that was wrapped around a mug & dumped the contents out of the mug into the box & tried to tell me I needed a bigger box when this one closed perfectly. Tried charging me $50 when the last time I sent via the OTHER UPS store to the same place it was $30. Took my box & will never return.
I sent a package internationally from this store with the help of Michelle. Once the packaged arrived in the destination country, I had troubles with the country’s customs officials and I struggled to figure out how to pay the import taxes from here in the United States over the phone. I called this store where I sent it from to see if anyone had any suggestions. Michelle offered me many suggestions, which were successful, and she even called me back a few days later to check and see how it was going! Once the package was successfully delivered I let her know and she was just as happy as I was! Michelle truly went above and beyond for me and showed she cared to help me so much. Any time I need to send anything in the future, I will most definitely go to Michelle at this store, and will tell anyone else to do the same. Thank you again Michelle!
Prices are made up. She told me to print 2 labels it would be $2.16 just to print 2 pieces of black and white labels. So I chose to print 1. She charged me for 2 anyway and when i asked why she ignored me and added tax. $2.16 + tax to print one black and white page. Geesh. The other UPS store charges a buck. And sometimes they waive the fee. One employee here and she is so busy tacking on extra fees the line gets long. Word to the wise and the owner. Stop ripping people off. It was my first time in this location and as a small business owner I promise I will not be back. Get it together.
Lady working there was very rude. Plenty of other ups locations. Wont see me there again. From the reviews it is pretty obvious this was not an isolated event. Go elsewhere
A few days ago I called to see how much it would cost to get a document notarized, and was told it was $2 per stamp. We get there and told the lady that I wanted to get a document notarized. The lady working the counter signed and stamped the document. I got my money out and she said it was $10 for charge! I told her I called a few minutes ago and a different lady said it was for only $2. This lady had the nerve to tell me tell me that the additional $8 was for an administration charge! Are you kidding me! Can you say SCAM!!!! She finally said she would honor the $2 charge. Again, can you say SCAM!!!Funny thing is, I called all the other UPS stores in the area after the fact, and every one of them said it was $2 per document to get notarized.People, watch out for individuals like this who want nothing more than to take advantage of you. Do your research first so that you dont get SCAMMED like I almost did.The UPS store owner....screen your people better!

By far the worst and least helpful UPS store I have ever been to. They refuse to help you and if they do it’s gonna cost you your first born child. $6 for a piece of tape.

Charged me for Free Return shipping. Had to pay $4.00 for FREE UPS envelope. I was short on time and just had to eat it. I had original shipping envelope In good shape but lady working there said I needed new shipping envelope. It was a straight up scam.
Paid for 2 day Air delivery and 8 days later they have yet to locate my package. There’s tracking numbers for a reason. I should get a full refund for negligence. Ridiculous.I did call the store. They have the info. It was shipped on 1/30. Still no updated. The lady was kind of rude. It’s important tax documents that are in the envelope.

Sometimes people dislike when your there close to closing and he still treated me with kindness and great service and I appreciated it so much because the next day was my shipping deadline for my return. thank you!!!
I went to Fed Ex Friday morning at 8:45 am on 11/4/16. A woman waited on me. I did not catch her name but she had long curly hair. She was prompt, professional, and pleasant. She helped me pick out an art box and the quality is excellent. Glad I shopped at Fed Ex.

Scheduled an appointment online for notary services. Received 2 automated appointment confirmation emails. Arrived at the store at the scheduled time only to have a rather rude lady tell me notary services were not available that day. Do people really not bother to check to see what appointments are scheduled at the beginning of the day and, oh, I dont know, NOTIFY customers if certain services arent available?!?!? Very disappointed
I dropped off an item to return to amazon the first gentleman was helpful. Had to go print a return label and returned another time with the label and the next worker female(with long braids) was extremely rude and when she put my package aside she pretty much slammed it down on the counter! It was not a cheap item either and took forever for me to get my refund as well! The package itself when it came to me was in brown wrapping paper only and she asked how I was packaging it up (with an attitude problem) while the last guy said hed take care of it dont worry about it. Then this girl said shed only tape it up and however it gets there thats that again with attitude! Ive worked 5+ years in customer service and hers was extremely uncalled for and rude! However, I would give the other gentleman five stars. The female forever changed my review!
They keep sticking LithiumIon/Hazardous labels on our laptop shipments, even though UPS guidelines specifically state the items were shipping are not covered by these requirements. Then the regional UPS depot rejects the shipment since we dont have a hazmat shipping contract with them.They also insist on selling us packing if were insuring a shipment, regardless of how solid the packaging we already have is.Finally, when they weigh our items to charge us, they stick staplers, tape dispensers, etc. on the scale along with the item because it weighs about what the packing materials will weight. Seems a little fishy.All of the above happen to us regularly when shipping from this location.Prices are significantly higher than going directly to the UPS depot in Richmond Heights, but Richmond Heights is inconvenient based on our location.
We typically use The Willoughby location however we had an office communication issue and used the mentor location by accident. They did not verify how to ship letters and assumed to send UPS. A simple 800.00 fee in their favor. The good is the packages were delivered. The bad it cost 800.00 more than usual and Rini was very rude to our team. Go to Willoughby location.
Tried to ship guitar and the hippie attendant gave me every excuse why he could not help me.Losers should not deal with the public period.

The other reviewer is right about the two cranky ladies. I walked in with a box which was a return to amazon with a shipping label already attached, and not only did they not acknowledge me at all, the one woman rolled her eyes when I tried to get their attention. I was disgusted, and left the package on the counter. We will see if that package even makes it back to amazon.There seems to be a ups store on every corner, so do yourself a favor and pick a different one.
